Brilliant location, modern sheek hotel with lovely stuff!!
Breakfast was excellent
room was a little bit small
Location of hotel very good. I've stayed at the Iveagh Hotel on numerous occasions and have always had a very positive experience. We booked a standard room in the Iveagh Hotel on this occasion, and on check in, was told that the room was not in the main hotel but in a townhouse adjacent. We asked for something in the hotel but was informed that nothing was available.
We booked a standard room in the Iveagh Hotel on this occasion and on check in, was told that the room was not in the main hotel but in a townhouse adjacent. There was no availability in the main hotel. We were escorted to the room. There were a lot of different levels/steps to get to the room and therefore this room would not be suitable for anyone with accessibility issues. The room was small but very clean. Excellent bathroom. When I say it was one of the worst nights sleep I ever had, I'm not exaggerating. I'm not sure which was worse, the Luas Line noise which continued until late and commenced very early in the morning, or the cleaning of the street by a street-cleaning machine from early morning. When checking out, I spoke to the receptionist about our experience. I was showed my booking from Booking.Com and was told that a standard room booking is always in the townhouse. This was not clear from the booking.com website and is very misleading. I asked to speak to the accomodation manager. I was told that they would not be back for a few days but that they would request them to call me then. I'm still waiting!!!!
Great stay ,close to St Stephens Green and within walking distance for places we were visiting.very comfortable
Smaakvol gestyled
Breakfast was great as was the location. Lovely hotel. Fabulous King bed! Best we’ve had at a hotel.
The WiFi in our room was unusable. We reported it but it didn’t improve. We needed WiFi for trip planning. Might have preferred a room inside the building, instead of the one with the entrance off the street, for the price. The location of that room probably contributed to the WiFi issue.
Fantastisk service. Rent och snyggt rum. Trevlig restaurang.
Gillade allt.
Breakfast was excellent. The room was beautiful, and this is the only time I've ever stayed in a hotel when the bed was more comfortable than my bed at home!
Location was great and breakfast good
Toilet was dirty on arrival and request was made to reservation team a week in advance and did not even get a response from them.
Neat and beautiful
Slow elevators
Night time staff where exceptional!!! excellent went above and beyond, when an external company made an error with our food order leaving drinks off the order. reception delivered 2 drinks to our room free of charge totally unexpected.
Breakfast was slightly unorganized.
Location, bedroom, spacey, beds comfortable, clean
No complaints
Great location. The hotel was extremely clean and the rooms comfortable and an excellent size for Europe
Lo único, la ubicación .
El precio desorbitado por una habitación compacta, con baño integrado con mampara en la misma habitación, en el sótano, sin armario, y con una ventana minúscula alta con una puerta corredera para abrirla. Claustrofobia. Sólo una botella de agua de cortesía. Ni cafetera, ni hervidor ni nada.
Location is excellent and the history is interesting.
It was very expensive for a big standard hotel room and no breakfast.
Clean, modern, good bed, good bathroom, decent location
Nothing
The location was phenomenal. We had room away from the nightclub Copperface so we were able to sleep - a matter of fact it was facing the Iveagh lake waterfalls which was quite soothing. The staff wrote a lovely note for my birthday with loving butler’s chocolate which was a very thoughtful nice touched - the staff were professional and bubbly.
The carpets in the hallway could be sprayed or air freshened
Surprised that opting out of daily room cleaning meant the bed wasn’t made.
Personal encantador y servicial, ubicación estupenda, buena habitación y baño.
Muy ruidoso en la parte del restaurante
Very clean! Every employee was kind and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable. Living room sitting area very nice. We were in the presidential suite, so what's not to like!!
Location was great
Room 2098, very very noisy from load music and people shouting etc, did not stop until around 3am, room very over priced.
We were put in a building that was not part of the hotel..very expensive for 1 night at, would not stay again.
Location is good, very central, hotel is relatively new. Staff are very friendly and helpful
Breakfast is just barely average, quality is just not great. My room (2111) had a big air conditioning unit outside it that was very noisy, constant hum, that I expect affects a lot of rooms at the back of the hotel
Really nice accommodation and got up graded to a lovely down stairs apartment .. street noise wasn’t that bad ….
but we happened to be staying the night Mayo won the all Ireland football final and Copper face Jacks nite bar was right across the road from our apartment …
Room was directly overhead wedding event and noise all night plus also noise in street from taxis all night
The staff was wonderful. We were able to get accommodated into a larger room with more space and we appreciated the effort.
Great location and facilities
Party out side on a Monday and Tuesday nights really Nothing the hotel can do about it
Very nice Booked for my parents and they were so impressed. Good location 👌 handy for the Gaiety theatre. Food was lovely I'd book it for myself.
Accessibility for guests who have mobility issues
Very spacious, modern rooms and helpful staff
staff were lovely and welcoming. Loves the location
room a bit smaller then expected.
Great location. Very well decorated with exceptional staff
Na
Asked at checkin if our stay was anything special. We let them know it was our wedding anniversary, they made special effort with room and chocolates.
AC needs to be reconfigured for hotter summers.
It was very clean, very quiet. It was very beautiful and well decorated.
Maybe that they close the door after certain times
The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great! The accommodations were beautiful and chic. A very lovely stay.
I’ve been there a few times and it’s a great hotel in general
I was allocated (as I requested it) a balcony, amazing, bedroom was great however, the lock was not working. The windows couldn’t be fully close (1 of them) spider webs all around the windows and there was not light in the round table for dinner.
Nice quiet room
Gorgeous fancy looking hotel, all jewel tones, velvet trims and soft lights. Comfortable bedding, hot showers.
Beautiful decor. Friendly efficient staff. Comfortable bed
The room was quite dark. Views of walls of a building only
Bar and terrace. Nice large bedroom with high ceilings.
The lobby area seating is not comfortable
Excente ubicación cerca de los lugares de interés de Dublin. El desayuno muy completo y bien servido.
Poca luz en la habitación, no tiene frigobar y el aire acondicionado es portátil.
Room was lovely Decor throughout the hotel was beautiful Staff were excellent so friendly & helpful
Nothing
Location and staff
The noise outside (banging) and the temperature of room
The location was great as were the rooms and facilities. The staff were wonderful.
It would help to have shower facilities for guests arriving early in the day before check-in. This would be much appreciated for guests after a long flight
Perfect location. Very clean food and drink excellent and the staff were brilliant
N/A everything was 10/0
The location and the staff were spot on for a two day, one night city stay
We didn’t like that our stay was too short!
Nice hotel in a very good lokation in Calmen. Lotvof pubs, restaurants in the neighborhood. Can walk everywhere. Grate room. Brekfast OK.
Our stay at the Iveagh Garden Hotel was better than expected and, overall, we really enjoyed our experience. We stayed in a Superior Double Room, which was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. The room was well ventilated and came with tea and coffee-making facilities and some lovely amenities, which were greatly appreciated. The bed itself was very comfortable, although it was made up of two single mattresses rather than one true double mattress. This wasn’t an issue for us, as both the mattresses and bedding were very comfortable. The temperature control was a little fidgety to set initially, but once adjusted, the room maintained a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the street, so there was some noticeable traffic noise. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but light sleepers may prefer to request a room further away from the front of the hotel. The only other minor disappointment was the lack of a fridge in the room, although this was by no means a major inconvenience. The majority of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. In particular, the lady who assisted us with check-out was delightful and very accommodating, while the gentleman who looked after our bags was also exceptionally friendly and even recognised us when we returned to collect them. These small touches made a very positive impression. There were, however, a couple of occasions where the service felt somewhat blunt and less welcoming than expected. Hopefully this was simply down to individual circumstances, but consistency in how every guest is treated would make an already good experience even better. We also had dinner in Ellie’s Restaurant on our first evening. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the whiskey sour was particularly good. We felt the overall quality was appropriate for the price point. One of the things we liked most about the hotel was the atmosphere. It had a calm, welcoming feel from the moment we walked through the door, and it was somewhere we felt comfortable during our stay. The location was also excellent, with Grafton Street and a great selection of restaurants within walking distance. One area I would encourage the hotel to consider is ensuring that all guests receive the same level of warmth and attention regardless of age. On a small number of occasions, I felt that being on the younger side may have influenced how I was treated compared with some older guests, despite being an equally paying customer. I appreciate that this may have been coincidental, but consistency and inclusivity in guest service are important and would further strengthen the experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and felt that we received fair value for what we paid. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives, and I would happily stay at the Iveagh Garden Hotel again. I would also recommend it to others looking for a comfortable hotel in a convenient Dublin location.
Had the pleasure of staying at this excellent establishment this year. Staff were amazing along with excellent facilities and service. Food was of good quality along with quality wines. Located in the heart of dublin & highly recommend
A truly disastrous stay due to noise from car horns from multiple different cars - frequent and sporadic until 4.00am. Never staying in this hotel again. Stay a complete disaster.
Nice hotel. Staff were great. Main complaint was that our room was so, so small for the price we paid. Uncomfortably so. Pretty good location. Nice and quiet.
