Located up in the hill over looking the town. Very well kitted out with everything you may need. Stylish and comfortable with good sound proofing and quiet . The host was amazing making sure how to access the property with our driver and helping us order some takeout. Great literature provided for the area, so impressive.

Mooi huis al is het wat kleiner dan verwacht na het zien van de foto’s. Vriendelijk geholpen, ook met het regelen van een taxi. Heel fijn.. Lekkere bedden.

This property has an amazing view. The caretakers were wonderful, responding to all our needs promptly and available round the clock. They give you a free tea box and instant coffee sticks at checkout. Breakfast was delicious, a combination of English and Sri Lankan breakfast. There's a place to do BBQ and a garden where you can sit out and enjoy the cold weather. Thumbs up to this property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Luxe Wilderness. These charming boutique villas are tucked away just 2 km from Nuwara Eliya, offering a peaceful setting while still being close to town. The host was incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The villa was spacious and comfortable, with a lounge, dining area, and kitchen downstairs, and two large beds with a bathroom upstairs—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The building and gardens are beautifully maintained, and while it’s within walking distance of the town centre, the route follows the main road. A lovely place to stay, and one we would happily recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything was exceptional from start to finish. The atmosphere is cozy, peaceful, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible attention to detail. If you appreciate the little things that elevate an experience, this is the perfect place for you. We found a great speaker that made our evening even more enjoyable, along with a USB containing a curated music collection and a catalog describing the available playlists. There were restaurant menus readily available for food delivery, and the TV came with a carefully organized selection of movies, complete with a guide featuring summaries and recommendations by category. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a beautiful scent from a candle, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, featuring a coffee machine, kettle, microwave, toaster, as well as complimentary coffee, tea, water, and other essentials. Of course, the property itself and the view were absolutely stunning, but what impressed me most was the effort put into creating a memorable experience through these thoughtful touches. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into every detail, and it truly makes a difference. I would highly recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. You won’t regret choosing it.

We spent 3 nights here in mid-March, and were very pleased with our choice. First, the host was very gracious in allowing us to shorten our stay without penalty (which he was not obligated to do), as we were delayed in arrival due to the war in Iran. The location was a short tuktuk drive from town, which made it very quiet, and it was also a short tuktuk drive to the tea plantations. The villa was very spacious, and the view from the balcony was great. The breakfast was delicious and huge. The manager was immediately responsive to calls and texts, and very helpful in arranging tuktuks and recommending restaurants and outings. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer!

The wifi was a little slow. Also, the shower in our villa leaked a bit of water out the corners and would benefit from a patch of the caulking. Otherwise, everything was clean and tidy and perfect.

Well appointed and comfortable villa with stunning views close to town. Delicious breakfasts. Nilan was an exceptional and caring host.

The road entrance can be challenging for seniors.

It’s an exciting last 100m drive. But well worth it for the experience.

Очень слабый Wi-Fi. Нет Smart TV, только записанные на диск фильмы и мультфильмы, достаточно старые. На кухне немного пропускал регулятор на газовом баллоне, приходилось его каждый раз отключать от баллона, чтобы не было запаха газа.

A lot of space for your money and good facilities, very clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. While the location is a little way out of Narwara Elija a tuk tuk ride gets you there very quickly and it is a very peaceful location.

There is no restaurant which is not said in the information but we had a very nice meal in the town.

We were blown away by how incredible this place was, even better than the pictures. Due to our busy schedule we only had a short stay but the hosts very brilliant in arranging a take away breakfast and couldn’t have done enough for us. We hope to return and spend more time here!

Gastvriendelijkheid en goede communicatie vooraf, hulp bij boeken treinticket. De 2 ontvangstheren waren super vriendelijk!!!!! Ontvangen met thee en gebak. Mooie locatie, veel ruimte, super lekker groot bad, mooi uitzicht!Beschikbaarheid van een keukentje. Goed ontbijt, op afgesproken tijd gebracht! Er was de heren niets teveel om ons te gerieven en uitleg te geven. Super!

WIFI, heel slechte ontvangst, konden niets ontvangen bovenruimte terwijl we in bed lagen. ElectriciteiT: 1 toestel per keer of zekering valt uit.

The property was a great place to stay during our visit to Nuwara Eliyah. It was in colonial style and the beds were so comfy. It was really peaceful and quiet aswell. Great after a busy day exploring the beautiful area.

It would be nice to have a Sri Lankan style breakfast or have a choice of what to have.

It was a bit cramped as there was 4 of us staying in one villa.

The villa was beautiful and aesthetic! It had all the amenities! The staff was super helpful and polite. They even helped us organise a mini trek. They cooked a delicious breakfast spread! The villa makes you want to stay inside. We tried maximising our time there as much as we could. The view is outstanding!

We did wish the Wifi speed was better. Since we wanted to spend more time in the villa, a high speed wifi connection would have helped.

View was spectacular from the balcony. Beds and pillows were very comfy, there was a heater in the room so in colder weather we were good. Full kitchen was a plus. Breakfast was amazing, the best we got in Sri Lanka.

The breakfast was excellent with hot omelettes and fresh fruit & yoghurt with as much toast as you could eat with fresh juice. We had to leave very early one morning and we were provided with a full breakfast to take with us and one for our driver @ 5:00am! The service went above and beyond!

There was a very noisy drip from an outside drainpipe that kept us awake on the first night. More coffee for the coffee machine but it was fabulous to have one.

We stayed as a family of 4- Amal and his team were attentive and went out of their way to help. The property is stunning, clean, spacious and felt luxurious. The bath with the view was a hit with our kids. Breakfast was great and the filter coffee machine was a welcome change from the instant coffee I’ve had across Sri Lanka. Highly recommend.

Wish we stayed for longer!

It was just the most gorgeous place with an excellent feel and we felt totally spoilt and the real flowers on the table were so beautiful and a real treat. Plus they bought breakfast to the room. The bath was the winner though we all bathed twice and it was cool outside. The staff were so good too and had a lovely vibe. Super helpful.

I loved everything.

We truly loved our stay at the Villa. The home-cooked breakfast was amazing, and the staff were extremely friendly and professional, kindly helping us with our luggage. The Villa is beautifully designed and very well equipped, offering a breathtaking view over Nuwara Eliya.

Our stay was excellent; the only thing worth mentioning is the location. The hotel is located at the top of a hill and is accessed via a very narrow and steep road (2mins by foot), which is not easy to drive

Läget med bedårande vy och ändå gångavstånd till stan. Sköna sängar och rent och frun älskade badrummet med badkaret och dess utsikt. När ni är här i Little England så vill jag varmt rekommendera att passa på att unna er en afternoon tea på Grand Hotel.

Specious villa, clean, very good breakfast.

Our stay was perfect! The property is in a beautiful spot overlooking the valley. The bath is nice and hot and perfect after a long day. Everyone was so helpful and kind, organising all transport and advising us on activities. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Персонал невероятно гостеприимный. Наш рейс сильно задержали из-за чего заселение было поздно ночью, тем не менее нас дождались, встретили и рассказали об основных правилах проживания. На вилле повсюду свежие цветы в вазах, очень чисто, а виды из номера захватывают дух. Специально проснулись в 5:20 утра, чтобы на своем балконе встречать рассвет, незабываемые впечатления.

Это не критично, но не хватало маленьких полотенец для рук и лица. Если вы на своей машине и она небольшой мощности, то заезд вы скорее всего не осилите, т.к. подъем под большим углом и сама дорога очень узкая. Но такие заезды у большинства отелей вокруг, это особенность местности.

The location of the property was fabulous. It was slightly outside of the main city - but that meant it was peaceful and quiet. The house manager was so helpful and had some great suggestions of things to do. The breakfast was good - we had both the English and Sri Lankan options. Really glad we chose this location! Thank you for the hospitality.

Very minor feedback - the wifi was slightly spotty, and the sinks needed better drainage - but apart from that, really great property!

The overall villa is nice and comfortable. Breakfast is very nice prepared. Staff are very well taking care of us even before our stay with all communication. Extra bonus is the available driver of the villa that could ask for service is super on point and safe driver.

Front door without curtain, I find it's bit less privacy. Water leak in bathroom should be fixed for this price villa.

Excellent place. The best accommodation we encountered in two weeks of travel. Cosy, clean, great view of the town and mountains around. Great shower and bath tub. Excellent breakfast. The manager was very helpful and accommodating.

One small thing - the shower does not close properly so a lot of the water ends on the floor around it.

La Villa era muy espaciosa y cómoda. Además, fue muy fácil la entrega de llaves. Lo mejor fue el propietario, ya que fue encantador. Puso facilidades en todo momento. El desayuno, nos lo llevaron a la villa y estaba buenísimo. Además, tuvieron un gran detalle cuando nos despedimos y nos regalaron unos tés e incienso. Top! Es tal cual se ve en las fotos.

The location, villa and host were wonderful. We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa. The host gave us detailed instructions on how to reach the accommodation and helped us plan our day. The breakfast was great too. Highly recommended

The villa was modern, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities you needed. I wish we had stayed longer but was heading to Ella the next day. It was a great place for us to relax with the children after a very busy few days! Like home from home. The staff as soon as we arrived were so very welcoming, collecting our luggage a few meters down the road as it is steep! The owner couldn't do enough for us, he ordered us a take away and arranged a tuk tuk to collect it for us, nothing was too much trouble. It was my sons birthday and at breakfast they brought balloons and a lovely cake, little touches like this made our staff very memorable and we couldn't recommend this stay enough. The views are lovely. It was misty and raining but cleared enough for us to see the beauty. Thank you for a wonderful stay for my family. The bed was the most comfortable we had stayed in throughout our travels in Sri Lanka and lovely to have multiple pillows! Thanks again! We even got a lovely little gift upon check out which was a lovely personal touch! Visa card accepted.

Thanks to Villam, Sanjaya and the team. This is a great little sanctuary nestled just off the main road as you head into town from Kandy. Clear directions provided prior to arrival, quick check-in and warm welcome provided. The 2 story villa is cosy and comfortable with all necessary amenities provided including coffee machine, microwave, fridge, usb speaker, sofa, dining table, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom has a wow factor and the beds were super comfortable. We stayed as a family of 4 and definitely big enough for us. Last of all, what a spread for the breakfast delivered in the morning (photo provided)! Highly recommend Luxe Wilderness. 🙌 P.S. if you have a driver, they can help out with cheap accommodation close by.

The property was far more modern than we expected. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We arrived late afternoon and left early on the morning as we were getting the train to Ella, so we had a night in to enjoy what the property had to offer. Breakfast was delivered to the property in the morning, made up of fresh fruit,yoghurt, bread for toast and jam, and freshly cooked omelette. More than enough for our 3 hour train journey! Just wish we had a little more time to enjoy the bath and the amazing views x

Beautiful house. The views were wonderful. Everything was really clean and fabulous. The owner was really helpful and friendly.

The villa was beautiful with nice garden and Mountain View. Breakfast was served in the villa and was a good one. Staff were friendly and helpful. The villa gets a lot of nice sunlight in the day.

The drainage for the sinks and shower had issues. The water was leaking from the shower cubicle and made the bathroom floor wet.

Property is in a good location, has been furnished and decorated well with nice garden.

Our stay at this property was, unfortunately, very disappointing and uncomfortable. To start with, there were no welcome drinks offered upon arrival, which felt uninviting. The bathroom was poorly maintained — many amenities were non-functional like the bathroom drawers and the bathroom sink taps were old and shaking, and the shower cubicle leaked water across the bathroom floor which was very unsafe. Only a handheld shower was available, making it quite inconvenient to use. We went out at 5 PM after checking in and refreshing, and returned around 7:30 PM with two friends who were specifically visiting, having brought dinner to enjoy together with them in Nuwara Eliya. Upon arrival, the property manager stopped us and stated that no visitors were allowed, claiming it was part of their policy. I mentioned that this restriction was not disclosed during the booking process and that quiet hours began only after 9 PM, so we still had time to eat. He said it was written on a board at the property and in a message sent only after the booking was confirmed — neither of which we had seen beforehand. What followed was extremely upsetting. The manager began addressing my wife and mother-in-law — who are both Sri Lankan — in Sinhala, in a disrespectful and discriminatory tone. He stated that he doesn’t allow locals to book the property because they often bring visitors, which was deeply offensive. He continued to argue his point to the point where my wife and mother-in-law felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome, despite being paying guests. I am a foreigner, and as a mixed group traveling together, we were shocked by the blatant prejudice shown by the manager.

The host was very nice, the place is clean and very spacious. I love how they care about every details (restaurant delivery flyers, magazines, FRESH FLOWERS and the coffee machine was top notch!). The villa is made in fantastic design in and out, bathroom is to die for <3 This is the best place I stayed in Sri Lanka.

The view of the valley is great with very pleasant and friendly staff.

The hotel has some maisonett villas, with living room, kitchen and toilet downstairs, and two double beds and a big bath upstairs. It looks like on Fotos. It was the best room we stayed in Sri Lanka and worth the money. Super comfortable beds, nice interior and great views. The property manager is super polite, prompt and helpful. You can easily get in touch via WhatsApp and he also arranged the tuktuk to go into a nice restaurant. Breakfast will be served in the room. I would always book it again and send my best wishes to the team of Luxe Wilderness

It is a bit away from the city center, but with a TukTuk super okay. However, with being away from the city, you get a relaxing environment. I guess in the center, you don’t want to stay anyways, since it’s busy, crowded, loud and not nice.

Sanjaya went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. He provided a takeaway breakfast at 4.45am when we wanted to go to Horton Plains and always made sure we were okay. Lovely secluded stay!

The location was a bit scary since we were in a van and going up the mountain was steep. I even went down the van and started walking to the place because the road was very scary.

Distance from main town. Disgusting bathroom! So much black mould, water leaks, and it stank because of it. The breakfast was average. Not the family friendliest if you have very young children due to the stairs and steep entry path. Overpriced.

Hand down one of the BEST hotels ive stayed in Sri Lanka. I have stayed in many hotels across the world and this one stands out as truly amazing. A hidden gem. Firstly the property is immaculate! Clean and beautiful! The scenery is breathtaking, we couldnt stop taking videos of it from the balcony, the garden and inside. Bathroom is huge, overlooking the scenery. Fresh flowers in bathroom and dining table. It smells very nice as soon as you walk in. Location is very convenient. But what has trully blown us away is the service. The staff are on another level. Firstly they message you with information before you even reach. Once u reach you receive royalty treatment with a smile! Shameera is always available to help, assisted us in ordering food and arranged to light a bonfire for us in the garden with blankets. We enjoyed the stars and warm fire, very cosey. They even gave us a special surprise at the end of our stay. I honestly wish i could stay longer and will definitely return. It is worth every penny.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was super quiet, and the terrace offered immaculate views of the town, where we spent a lot of our time. The bath with a view was a big highlight. The owners were exceptional, providing tips on food, organising taxis, accommodating a later checkout, and arranging pick-up from the station—they truly went above and beyond. The breakfast spread was fantastic! We found it hard to find places to stay here, so this is a must stay. Just around 10 minute tuk tuk to the town

This property along with the staff member, location, view and amenities is nothing less than EXCELLENT
