Da gibt es nicht viel zu sagen, ausser: TOP. An dieser Unterkunft gibt es wiklich nichts zu bemängeln. Schöne Architektur, geschmackvoll ausgestattet, super Service (Frühstück und Zimmer-Service). Voll ausgestatte Küche, 2 Grillstellen. Wir haben uns für die 3 Nächte selbst versorgt, ging problemlos. Die Aussicht ist phänomenal, der Blick geht entlang der Flussmündung des Boesmans River Richtung Indischer Ozean. Von den 3 Nächten dort hatten wir die Unterkunft 2 Nächte ganz für uns allein, das war nochmals ein Extra-Bonbon - aber auch mit weiteren Gästen (sind nur 2 Zimmer) ist das kein Thema. Alles in allem, nochmals: TOP.

Wir hatte. zu zweit dieses perfekte Haus ganz für uns alleine und habe es genossen. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und John kümmert sich perfekt und ist super zuvorkommend. Der Lage ist traumhaft - so dass man den ganzen Tag auf der Terrasse sitzen und stauen kann :-) Das Frühstück wurde von zwei Damen auf der Terrasse vorbereitet und ist wirklich unschlagbar. Danke!

The sizeable room, extremely comfortable bed, therapeutic views and hospitable and friendly staff.

The outdoor breakfast set up was very close to our room which was not a problem, however the sliding doors to the patio didn’t have lace curtains so we lost privacy as we wanted the early morning sea view but couldn’t fully enjoy the open curtains due to other guests having breakfast on the patio.

Location very good. Breakfast was okay but not at agreed time. Duty manager was short on service, but situation recovered by John.

Duty manager did not explain the site comprehensively & issued the wrong room keys. This caused delay in being able to secure room in order to go out exploring the area.

Outstanding staff, fantastic location and incredible views. Our upstairs bedroom had a lounge area alongside, and small kitchenette with a basin and coffee station. Breakfasts were outstanding with wonderful staff who leave you to the house for the rest of the day. Undercover garage parking. It felt like home from home!

The Beach House is ideally located in Kenton with beautiful views of the bay and river mouth. The staff were absolutely friendly and very knowledgeable of the area, amenities and recommendations of activities.

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay at Oyster Box. We were welcomed so warmly by John, he instantly made us feel like home. The view is outstanding, we stayed on the first floor and woke up with a beautiful sunrise every morning. The bed is a dream. The breakfast is very tasty and fresh - we just loved everything about our stay. Thank you to the team.

Lovely view and access directly to the decking and pool area. Spacious and luxurious suite with access to shared kitchen and laundry facilities.

Poor lighting in bathroom. Towels sometimes smelled a bit stale as there were hooks for them rather than rails. Also, oversized pouffe in sitting area just got in the way. Would have liked a small fridge in our actual suite.

Plunge pool quite deep and does not have steps - children and less fit people might find it hard to get out.

This was the best accommodation we have booked so far in South Africa. The view was exquisite. The staff was very friendly and can prepare a fantastic breakfast. Best poached eggs ever. The attention to detail... bath robes, Charlotte Rhys body range, a tissue box, ear buds, make-up cloth. Perfect shower and bath. Long mirror for my wife and then the view... It's absolutely amazing... you see and hear the waves while looking at the river and all that happens on it. Loungers to bask up the sun next to the pool. A fire pit for those special evenings... solar power so that you don't know about loadshedding. The highlight was the Fat Bikes that we used to go cycle on the beach ⛱️ We did not want to leave.

The fact that we could not spend more time there. Will be back for a much longer period soon.

This house is amazing. We enjoyed the kitchen, the pool, our own private living room, the views and beach access, the bikes you can ride to the beach and caught up on laundry. Highly recommend!!! The staff is also wonderful!!

Awesome, wonderful, stunning! I could go on! This is a simply stunning place to stay, total luxury, and nothing left out! I could happily stay here for a few weeks! Views from the house are breathtaking, and the plunge pool is great. This was a totally wonderful property that we wished we were staying for longer in. The breakfast is as good as any 5 star hotel! You feel very spoilt staying here!

This is one of the best houses we have ever stayed in over a 40-year period of using holiday rentals. Our accommodation was very large, consisting of 2 rooms and a balcony all fittings are of the highest standard. Bed is super big and comfortable. Breakfast is a delight served overlooking the beach and all freshly made to order, even the fruit salad. John, manager, very helpful and obliging. You will feel the calmness of the house while staying there and the views are outstanding. If going back to Kenton this is where we would stay.

A house of this standard should really have AC, at least in the bedrooms, rather than fans. Bathroom tiles are very slippy when wet, and staff need to make sure floor mats are put out daily, especially on the step down from the toilet and shower area within the bathroom. My wife had a nasty fall because of the tyles, and she lost a day out of our stay not being able to leave the house.

The views and the amazing service from John .He took care of all our needs and it felt like home away from home.They did an amazing birthday turndown service for my husband .

Loadshedding and the inventor switching off so some hours we stayed in the dark ,which is not in their control anyway.

An amazing place with a breathtaking view!

Our experience at the Oyster Box Beach House was exceptional. The staff were superb, the room glorious and the setting with a view over the Bushman’s River mouth breathtaking.

Lovely property very clean and large room, breakfast was amazing too. Only down side is there isnt much on kenton on sea itself but nice stoppover.
