Il Palazzo

Moving luggage to the room would be helpful , when navigating the elevator and levels

Friendly staff, easy transportation. Nice hotel and facilities. Modern.

Room was very lovely and clean, nice amenities, perfect for our day of rest and relaxation after our wedding!

Friendly helpful service. Clean spacious rooms

Great location and a nice hotel! Assisi is very hilly, so we did take a taxi from the train station vs walking with our luggage. The hotel has some great common spaces to sit and relax. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful property in the heart of Assisi. We stayed here after completing the Via di Francesco and they were very accommodating. The hotel is very comfortable with fashionable modern touches. Great breakfast with eggs (which we had been craving).

Julian welcomed us and was very helpful for the entire stay. He was great! Hotel was beautiful and well located. As is the case for all hotels in Assisi, getting to and from parking is a real challenge. Not a hotel issue- a city issue. Breakfast was ok. Great to have some English speaking channels on the TV. Julian was a great source of guidance.

Staff was great No parking, have to drive to parki g

This is the greatest place in the world in my experience

We had a beautiful room overlooking the valley. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Thanks

The hotel is beautifully maintained and the staff are amazing. Our rooms were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was first class. Definitely recommended!

The hotel is so cute and the breakfast is excelent . I loved the location and the charm. I would stay again anytime. Really helpul staff and the bedding is amazing.

Great hotel

Excellent location near to St Francis Basilica. Hotel staff exceptionally friendly and helpful

This is a charming property located close to the Basilica de San Francisco. The staff was very helpful and all the facilities were clean and comfortable. I did not choose the breakfast included option so cannot comment on how the food was. The hotel as a whole was lovely.

This hotel is great for back packers but if u have luggages forget it. The structure itself is not back friendly. If you are assigned to the back of the hotel would be the attic, you cant stretch your arm up when you wanted to change by the closet which has the full mirror just because the ceiling is too low. Im not that tall but I have scratch my hand few times because the ceiling is rough. They dont provide iron nor laundry service so if you have capsule wardrobe for the trip, this bot for you.

The owner and staff were superb. They guided us on the phone through the city to the property and showed us where free parking is. The hotel is in an excellent location in the historical district and staff recommendations for dinner were wonderful. We had a room with a beautiful view. Highly recommend this hotel!

Assisi is a magical place and this hotel helped by its charm, amenities, staff and location. Very reasonably priced and a nice breakfast buffet was included! Highly recommended!!

Great breakfast, friendly staff, very responsive.

I love Il Palazzo. The staff is accommodating and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is clean and well kept.

Lovely stay, gorgeous view, good breakfast.

Staff was great, the room was lovely and very clean. Grest view of the valley!

This is a gem in Assisi. Staff was all warm. Room was wonderful. Just a little way from Basilica of St Francis. Lots of meal options within short walk. Great breakfast.

Great location. Staff was helpful. Make sure you get instructions on how to turn the heat on in the room. Lots of history.

Great location, Staff was very kind, Decent sized rooms!

E had a great stay at Il Palazzo. The property is beautiful and historic and conveniently located near all the beautiful attractions. Assisi is absolutely stunning.

Great location. Clean and comfortable . Friendly and helpful staff.

Conveniently located near the basilica and other attractions. Very helpful staff.

We have a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is very clean and toiletries are included—from dental kit to body wash and shampoo/conditioner. The location is great - it’s at the center of the churches we visited. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. We plan to come back with our mom. Thank you for a great service!

Great location in heart of old town section of Assisi. Easy access from train station. Very nice and clean rooms. Very good breakfast

Great location not far from bus stop to train station. Great view of the valley. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Great location near the basilica and right in the charming main area of Assisi. Unfortunately due to bad timing we were there during G7 conference and were unable to see the basilica due to security, please double check your calendar before booking. There are plenty of other sights in Assisi, it was still a great visit for us.

Il Palazzo was a wonderful hotel. Room was spacious, quiet and had a 5 star view - breakfast was delicious. Staff was helpful and gave great visit recommendations (eg fo to San Francesco basilica before sun angle changes for best view of the windows) as well as nearby restaurant for dinner.

The staff was extremely helpful, especially Julian, who even stayed after his shift to help with transportation due to street closures. Fabio was excellent and helpful with dinner recommendations. Great rooms ,

We realty enjoyed the accommodations. Thank you.

Simply outstanding service, location, and room. A stay of a lifetime.

Wonderful place to stay! The building itself is a remodeled old and interesting building the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast delicious with great variety The hosts were most helpful and the location is an easy walk to the Basilica We easily could have stayed longer quite happily!

Very helpful in arranging transportation and off site laundry service.

It was nice and clean and a cool place to stay. They let us keep our luggage there after we checked out so that we could explore the city.

The rooms were clean, stylish and a reasonable size with a good view of the street. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially the manager, Julian. With a variety of options and tasty foods, the breakfast buffet was quite good. Location was very good for quick walking access to restaurants, stores, and piazzas. The only downside was the parking was a fair distance away from the hotel. All in all, a very memorable and positive experience, thank you!

Nice little hotel with friendly an helpful staff. Excellent position for visiting Basilica San Francisco d’Assisi and other places of 8nterest. Easy ti f7nd and easy ti reach.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. If you have a car, you can only drop off luggage quickly and repark the car. The lot is a 10 minute drive thru Assisi, but by using the stairs that connect the winding streets, the walk back is quick. Asking for a cab from the front desk is a little pricey. I recommend walking to the piazza by St. Clare's church to pick up a cab where they line up.

Nice comfortable hotel, nice breakfast and great location.

Pleasant staff, great view, well maintained, would stay here again.

Wonderful property and wonderful staff. I want everyone To know this place It doesn’t get better than this. Helpful and kind.

Great location and Julian was awesome at checkin checkout and with help for great food nearby. Will definitely stay here next time!

The common areas of the property were very nice and everything was clean. Breakfast offered several good choices and was quick so we good start site seeing. But our room was very noisy with street sounds, and there was no closet or drawers in the vedroom and no shelves in the bathroom to store toiletries.

Centrally located in the heart of old Assisi. The hotel staff was gracious and helpful without hesitation.

Excellent

Tasteful decor. Perfectly clean. Friendly attentive staff

X

A lovely hotel, close to everything with friendly staff. Great view from the room and very close to the basilica and some great restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

This is my favorite place to stay when traveling on a pilgrimage to Assisi. The space is beautiful. It's just a 5 minute walk to the Basilica of St. Francis.

Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. This is an amazing city and the hotel is perfectly located to experience it all. The service and hospitality were outstanding.

Beautiful area and accommodating staff.

Nice Hotel, very close to the centre and well located. Room was very clean and spacious. A touch more than a three stars hotels. Good value for money. Breakfast is OK, however, it may be better.

Very comfortable, great location and a window with amazing views!

Quiet , clean , walkable

Great modern hotel in the heart of Assisi. Easy walk to the Cathedral one direction, and town centre the other. Comfortable and quiet rooms.

Great spot in the middle of town! Very nice rooms and friendly staff!

A lovely hotel in Assisi. Beautifully restored and in excellent condition. The staff are welcoming and most accommodating to guests. Highly recommended. The room was most comfortable and breakfast very generous

We stayed in the newer wing. Very clean. Air conditioner was wonderful. Breakfast was sufficient. Location outstanding

Property was stunning everything was perfect. Couldn’t get English on TV but I’m sure you can. Would not change anything and the service was excellent. Highly recommend

Assisi is beautiful!

The location was perfect! The room was very nice. One of the staff at the front desk wasn’t very friendly or very helpful the other was ok.

This hotel is elegant and charming. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend it. .

We had room 304 looking out over the valley. Breathtaking view! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The amenities were outstanding. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and super helpful. This is easily the best hotel of our vacation in Italy! We highly recommend it!

What a lovely little hotel right in the middle of Assisi. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the view from our windows was breathtaking!!

The staff was very helpful and the room was amazing.

Everything was wonderful

I don’t want to let people know what a fantastic place Hotel Il Palazzo is because that might make it more difficult to make a reservation! Seriously, everything about this hotel was very good, and then some.

Difficult to find, had to park in overnight and taxi to locate. Nice room and pleasant stay. Assisi is beautiful and worth the trip

The property was beautiful, room stylish and comfortable and common areas lovely. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Assisi!

Fabulous room with valley view. Nice breakfast. Hopefully we will return someday.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It's so clean, modern, and simple. It's close to everything. The staff is nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for navigating Assisi on foot. We enjoyed our stay a great deal!

The Room assigned 302, Problem One: 1st night the room temperature was really cold. I checked the termostat was set to 18C, so I turned to high. The antique warmer switched from hot to extremely hot, I had to move the switch, several time. 2nd night on my return at night, the room temperature was OK, and I noticed it was getting warm air through a regular ac unit! So, they just didn't turn it on the previous night! 2nd Complaint: locked door connected to another room. The first night I complained to the manager ( or owner) about noise ( tv + laud voice)from that room. It was until my 2nd call that they took control of the situation. It was about 11:45 pm. He offered to move me to a "larger room with view" after the first time I called and requested a non connected room, he said the hotel was all booked! I was so tired I just needed rest! No recepcionist after 7pm, until 7am next day. So, I really do not recommend this Hotel. I do not wish to others this experience.

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful location in a wonderful city!

Beautiful hotel, very classy and clean. Ideal location, between a main square and the Basilica of San Francesco.

Magnificent!! This beautifully restored palace is an exquisite gem with a breathtaking view of the valley below. We were so thrilled to land here that we stayed n extra day to soak in the beauty of Assisi. It is very close to the basilica and easy distances to so many treasures The hotel staff was very kind and accommodating The room was lovely with all modern conveniences yet not taking away from the history surrounding it

That’s the second time we stay in this hotel and we love it. The location is very convenient and close to st Francis cathedral and on the Main Street. The staff is very helpful and kind.

Il Palazzo is a wonderful small hotel very close to the Basilica. The staff, especially the manager are all professional and helpful. We fell in love with Assisi and hope to return.

Great staff and big clean rooms

excellent facility service and ambiance

Friendly staff, nice large room. Beautiful view from our room of the countryside. Close to Basilica of St. Francis. Breakfast was very good as well.

Very nice hotel, we loved it. Only a few rooms on each floor. We were in 304 (with 2 beds).Quiet, clean, comfortable, very helpful staff. Excellent communication befirehand. Mike drove with us to show us where the parking was, only a 5 minute walk back. Excellent location, good breakfast and recommendations on dinner spots. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely little hotel, conveniently located with friendly and helpful staff

Everything was very clean and the front desk went out of their way to help when needed. So conveniently located as well

Loved our little one night stay in this hotel. Room was clean and spacious, we didn't book one with a view but it didn't really matter as we were out exploring most of the day. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel either but we walked through the restaurant and it looked like a nice continental selection. Parking is not available on site but you can park at one of the car parks dotted around at ¢14 per day, choose one higher up though so you are not walking uphill to the hotel (You are allowed to drive to the hotel to drop off and pick up luggage but not to park overnight) Reception staff were warm and welcoming and the hotel was easy to find and check-in ran smoothly. Lovely location in Assisi and a short walk to most of the landmarks, bars and restaurants. We actually tried to book this hotel again 2 months later on a visit but it was fully booked.

Wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The staff provided excellent dining recommendations where we enjoyed one of our favorite meals in Italy. Beautiful large rooms with gorgeous views!

The hotel was close to the Basilica of St Francis and St Clair. The staff at the reception were very helpful.

Fantastic service. Comfortable rooms, great location in Assisi half way between the Basilica and the main square. Could not have asked better.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Assisi. The property was clean and inviting. Julian was the best! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very beautiful and confortable place with an amazing view of the city down the hill. The staff is great specially Julian, he is American, so there was not language barrier. The hotel is close to everything in the historical site. Lots of places to eat around. It was beyond my expectations.

Excellent location, in the middle of the two main attraction of St Francies Basilica ans St Clares. Very comfortable hotel with old and new features. Excellent value for you buck!

The city was very clean and walkable. The location was perfect for us.

Staff parking and instructions lead up to walk up to 45 minutes long.

Very beautiful hotel that is only a short distance to St. Francis. The room had incredible views that looked out into the valley of Assisi. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great helpful staff!
