for such an affordable price, you get free use of kitchen utensils, a spacious room, and decent wifi. i work from home and internet more than enough for my workload. ++ excellent hosts ++ cute dog

We purposely booked here to enjoy a different side of the area and to stay closer to the bus terminal, which was very convenient. The owner was friendly and welcoming, even offered free karaoke. The heater worked well, the area looked decent, and there are nearby shops which made things easier. Despite the issues, I’d still consider staying here again for the convenience and the kind owner.

We booked a couple room but received separate beds instead of one large bed. The WiFi wasn’t very reliable, the rug looked dirty, and the table had a cracked part that felt unsafe. I hope they can replace it or at least cover the damaged part for safety. We also had to wait before getting our reserved room instead of checking in right away. The place is also quite far from Sabang Beach, so keep that in mind if that’s your main destination.

There is no tv the beach is a little too far. You need to ride a trike to go to the beach.

Slow water system but its ok

The property is quite cheap compared to other hotels nearby so it is pretty good if you are on a budget. You can also use the kitchen utensils for free and there is enough water specially HIT WATER.

The CR is quite hard to flush when you poop but still works. I hope they check it.

Big Room and affordable

Friendly and personal service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to supermarket, transport and to Sabang beach. A place worth staying....value for money!🥰

They could have sell cold drinks and coffee so that guest will not go outside to buy specially in the morning

Spacious Room with Private Parking. Convenient Location - Near Bus Station and Market. This place is a perfect choice for those who enjoy a leisurely stroll to the beach and the refreshing ocean breeze.

The toilet flush might be weak. We recommend bringing toiletries or contacting the host for recommendations in case a stronger flush is important for you.

The location is not far from the terminal and its good for one night stay

The AC was loud. We decided to stay extra days and the staff refused to clean the room, stating a 3 days cleaning policy. On the third day, we got new towels

its a 15 minute walk to the beach, but it’s actually nice to be back from the action a bit and chill out. nothing bad to say really

Had a great stay at the Brown Epitome Lodge for 2 nights. The rooms are clean and with a very nice fresh scent when entering so you feel comfortable directly. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and even let us use a blender so we could make our own smoothie and let's us leave our bags for a few hours after checkout so we could go around.

Only downside was that the aircon wasn't so cold but it was working fine.

Ate, the owner, was so accommodating. As we arrived on a weekday and there was a free room when we arrived, she let us do early checkin for free - that was such a big help specially we came from a long travel. Also you could cook and even borrow their blender so you could make a smoothie. Lastly, the place is located strategically where you could walk to the market, to the baywalk and to the hanging bridge 😍🥰

The insulation of the aircon - the aircon is not so cold but there is an electric fan that you could use.

I booked this lodge because it was relative new based from their photos and had a great price even though the location was 2.3 km away from the beach. But when i arrived in the lodge, they told us to be relocated to Moreno's Logde and Resto. Moreno's is very old. The beds were hard as well as the pillows. There was no food available though it said "restaurant". Based from my travel experiences, the value of Moreno's is LOWER than the deal price that I payed to Brown Epitome Lodge for two nights. If only I knew that this would happen, I am very much willing to pay for a higher price as long as it is a truthful deal. You have to stop this modus of misrepresentation of your services to a frequent traveller like us.

We got to the hotel early. And then they told us they’re fully booked. They had to transfer us to a diffrent hotel which really sucks. The water supply is not good. The bathroom smellls garbage. Staff we’re not friendly. I’m really dissatisfied. I was really looking forward for this hotel.
