Die Booking Möglichkeit war missverständlich und wir haben für 5 Personen gebucht, aber es wurde für eine Person reserviert… das war unglücklich und führte zu Missverständnis! Schuld war die Unmöglichkeit vernünftig buchen zu können- Also: Booking war schuld!!!!

Le lieu est magique! L’hôtel a été fait dans le respect total du lieu qu’il a été. Aucune faute. Les lits sont très confortables, les maisons sont restées pittoresques à l’extérieur comme à l’intérieur, mais on ne manque absolument de rien Il y a même une nappe et des serviettes pour manger à l’extérieur. Tout est pensé. La piscine est splendide dans un cadre absolument incroyable. On ne peut que tomber sous le charme de ce lieu.

Le personnel n’est pas toujours très accueillant et souriant. Nous n’avons pas eu toutes les infos nécessaires à l’arrivée, notamment qu’il a possibilité de demander un lunch paquet. Ça nous aurait été utile pour aller à Corvo

L endroit, le petit déjeuner , le charme du village et la piscine

Le personnel pas sympathique du tout sauf un seul ‘Frederico , c est très dangereux d accès risque +++ de chutes et d entorses pour circuler dans l hôtel, repas très cher et pas bon et service très long , restaurant village plus bas très bon et pas cher. Le Por do sol et spécialités des Acores

A aldeia é lindíssima, muito bem preservada e perfeitamente integrada na magnífica paisagem envolvente. Os serviços e a piscina mantêm o nível de excelência.

It’s a very special place to stay, truly recreating an old town placed in a great location close to the falls and with some friendly animals :)

Incredibly unique accommodations in a stunning location. Essentially living in a village unto itself, we awoke to breathtaking views in both directions (the ocean in one, verdant cliffs and waterfalls the other). Our villa was one of the newer ones and was filled with modern conveniences throughout. The pool was a welcome surprise after long days of hiking and exploring all the wonders of Flores Island. We loved the breakfast as well which was a highlight for our entire family to start each day.

I have nothing negative to say about our experience. It was one of the highlights of our 2-week visit to the Azores.

Es un poble reconstruit.Els allotjaments i els camins de dins del poble son molt autentics.Hi ha una bona piscina climatitzada.El personal super amable.

This is truly an extraordinary place! A must stay while in Flores. The facilities are spectacular, the heated swimming pool is a pleasure, even on rainy occasions. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast options were lovely.

La ubicación y el pueblo en si es maravilloso, es un pueblo de cuento y está encuadrado en el mejor sitio de la isla.

El.sitio es bonito, pero para la logística es un rollo. Tienes que tener en cuenta que todo son caminos de piedra difícil de andar. En nuestro caso la casa estaba a 5 minutos andando por camino de cabras y para el tema aparcar el coche, bultos y demás un rollo. Las casas son bonitas, pero de pueblo, para lo bueno y lo malo.

A casa estava muito bem decorada, tinha todas as comodidades necessárias para termos uma ótima estadia. O pequeno-almoço era muito completo, a piscina era maravilhosa e todo o staff se mostrou muito atencioso.

La location del villaggio è a dir poco meravigliosa. Da una parte si ammirano le cascate e il verde e dall'altra parte l'oceano. . Mi è piaciuta tantissimo la piscina e l'ospitalità e la disponibilità de personale.

La nostra casa era un po' distante e quindi per raggiungerla occorreva camminare un po'. Ho apprezzato il contesto, un po' meno l'invasione delle mosche la sera quando volevamo mangiare all'aperto e l'umidità della casa.

De prachtige ligging, het pad met mooie bloemen en dieren, het heerlijke ontbijt, het fijne verwarmde zwembad, het restaurant, de aardige mensen.

Ons tuintje was wat minder sfeervol en beplant dan de andere tuintjes, maar we hadden juist wel weer veel privacy en mooi zicht.

Pagamos 400€ por noche, pero es excesivo para lo que ofrecen. Las casas no están bien acondicionadas.Muchas cucarachas y bichos en la casa.

Wyjątkowe, autentyczne miejsce z historią, budynki, ogrody, drogi to rewitalizacja wioski opuszone przez mieszkańców pod koniec XX. Bardzo ciche i położone dosłownie obok największych atrakcji Flores, ogrzewany basen z pięknym widokiem. Dyskretna i bardzo pomocna obsługa, dbająca o szczegóły jak dostarczenie i zapewnienie odbióru bagaży w dniu wyjazdu, opowiedzenie o historii miejsca i udzielenie wskazówek dotyczących atrakcji czy restauracji. Dbają też o lokalne, bezdomne koty.

Beautiful place with a unique atmosphere, well-equipped cottages, and a stunning ocean view from the garden. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, and the restaurant is very gluten-free friendly. A truly one-of-a-kind destination 🩷

Les maisons sont charmantes et rustiques. La literie est bonne et la vue est magnifique. C’est très calme. La piscine est incroyable. Nous avons également très bien dîné au restaurant . Le petit déjeuner nous a convenu également. On peut commander des œufs, des pan cakes… Le personnel est adorable. L’endroit est idéal pour visiter. Notre vol a été annulé et ils nous ont trouvé une solution d’hébergement (pas facile en plein mois d’août). Merci beaucoup!

Il n’y a aucun condiment dans les maisons (pas même du sel!). Les maisons sont rustiques donc cela sent le bois et les vieilles armoires de nos ancêtres. Le restaurant n’a pas toujours de place disponible donc il faut réserver à l’avance et il n’est pas ouvert tous les jours.

Nos encantó el concepto de turismo de aldeia y el proyecto detrás. Desconexión total y plena naturaleza.

Relación calidad-precio. Entiendo el concepto, pero si ya se empiezan a cobran ciertos precios lo mínimo que espero son tumbonas en ambos lados de la piscina (casi imposible utilizarla, siempre llena de niños), un restaurante con sitios suficientes para hacer cenar los huéspedes y con servicio profesional, que la cena tenga productos de calidad, que llegue el wifi en las habitaciones, toallas que no sean súper viejas, etc. El sitio tiene todo el potencial y me encantaría poner un 10, pero a ese nivel de precios ya me espero más y los detalles empiezan a contar.

the price is too high for the quality of accomodation; for example, to wash the dishes you need plastic protection for your belly and legs; if there is wind and rain, you won't to get any sleep; no air conditioning, just a fan

Aldeia da Cuada is a specoal.place, stunning views and warm swimming pool, cute houses, fantastic restaurant (awesome gentleman from Denmark serving the tables and running the restaurant, cool reggae music) and beautiful flowers and overall town decorations.

Not enough chaise longs to lay at the sun and umbrellas for all the guests. The spanish, german, hollander, french kids, all well-behaved and respectful. But there were 5 annoying, disrespectful from small to 2 teenagers (local? The spoke portuguese, names Constanza, Bruna...they were shouting all the time and splashing) Very noisy and rude, no parent watching them. We waited respectfully for 1h for a 5-member german family to vacate the umbrella and sun chaiselongs, and the kids without education run to compete with our respectful waiting for the spot. Kids are kids but 2 of them they were almost adults and simply nasty and disrespectful to guests.

Loved it, the nature and unique homes with their history.

Quite a few flies around the place but to be expected for the seclusion in nature.

An exceptional stay - an old, deserted village that a visionary man turned into a hotel. The rooms were very nice and gave a warm feeling; the heated pool is nice and the dinner was fantastic. Friendly and motivated staff.

A Aldeia da Cuada é algo único e excepcional! Uma ideia que poderia ser seguida em outros lugares de Portugal... Tudo é simples e no entanto fantástico, muito bem organizado. As casas são lindas, com um jardim privativo, o restaurante é ótimo, com excelente serviço, a piscina aquecida é relaxante, como todo o lugar e a natureza envolvente.

Nous avons été légèrement « déçus » de notre expérience à Aldeia da Cuada par rapport à ce que nous attendions. Le lieu est effectivement atypique, nous avons apprécié ressentir l’âme de ce village magnifiquement fleuri. La piscine est chauffée et le cadre superbe mais elle n’est pas facile d’accès quand la maison est située de l’autre côté du village (chemin pavé qui demande une attention ++ pour ne pas se faire une cheville) Le restaurant de l’hôtel est bon. La localisation sur l’île est idéale. Nous avons apprécié avoir notre jardin privé avec superbe vue sur le reste du village. Mention spéciale pour le barbecue avec le bois mis à disposition, cela a été une réelle expérience de pouvoir préparer notre dîner dans ce cadre. Il n’y a pas de Wifi dans les logements mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé.

Notre maison était très humide, il faut brancher le déshumidificateur bruyant en permanence Le lit était un 140cm un peu creusé au milieu La salle de bain est vraiment sommaire, le siphon de la douche était bouché La maison est assez sombre, il y a peu de fenêtres, nous sommes finalement rarement restés en intérieur Équipement dans la cuisine vraiment minimaliste Globalement nous trouvons le prix du séjour inadapté à la qualité des équipements mis à disposition. Le lieu est une expérience à lui seul, certes, mais la partie logement laisse légèrement à désirer selon nous.

A very atmospheric place. One of a kind, unique. Close to the ocean...so close that you can hear the sound of the water. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfasts. On-site restaurant with excellent dishes. Hiking trails nearby, so you can go hiking without having to use a car.

Acho que falta um bocadinho de luz na sala de jantar/ estar pois fica um bocadinho tristonho à noite... nada que um candeeiro de pé, movível, não resolva a situação. Havia um no quarto, que cumpria a sua função mas era muito grande e estava sem apoio, meio avariado.

Ve vile se 2 ložnicemi v té druhé uplně chybí úložné prostory a je opravdu malá. Je to opravdu klidné místo, takže od 22 hodin se musí dodržovat noční klid.

הכפר מדהים ומאוד יפה. בשעות הערב נעים לטבול בבריכה החמה , פתוחה עד 21:00. ארוחת הבוקר טעימה. מקום מיוחד שהייתי חוזרת אליו למרות שיש ליקויים שטעונים שיפור . היופי של הכפר מפצה על הכל

המזרן בחדר מאוד לא נוח , הוא שוקע למרכז המיטה , אנחנו 2 זוגות וגם בחדר השני המזרן היה אותו דבר . אין ניקיון חדרים במהלך השהות . אנחנו הינו 3 לילות. אין מזגן והמאוורר תקרה עשה רעש מטורף שאי אפשר היה לשמוע אותו אז לא הדלקנו. למרות כל הדברים שרשמתי שטעונים שיפור , הייתי חוזרת שוב כי המקום קסום ואותנטי ולא דומה לשום דבר אחר , מקום מאוד מיוחד .

Aldeia da Cuada fully commits to restoring this beautiful old village and its quaint old houses. The furnishings and interior design all transport one to the past. They are, in fact, old and charming. The view from the cabin is pastoral with stone walls and fields (with miniature horses in the ones behind our house). The village is stunningly beautiful with flowers galore. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The pool is also warm and beautiful.

There's no wifi in the houses.

Logement dans une ancienne maison en pierre de lave avec un étage et son jardin, perdu en pleine nature, très calme, avec des fleurs partout. Vol retardé et arrivée vers 21 h 30 et le restaurant était resté ouvert pour mon arrivée. Bon petit-déjeuner et dîner. Très bien placé. Personnel accueillant

Logement dans la dernière maison donc assez loin de la réception et du restaurant, chemin en pierre très cabossé et pas pratique avec un sac avec des roulettes. A l'aller la personne de l'accueil a porté mon sac et au retour c'est moi sous la pluie...Dommage le séjour a été tronqué par un vol annulé puis le lendemain un vol retardé et enfin l'île a été plongée dans le brouillard pratiquement tout le séjour avec de temps en temps de la pluie, mais on n'y eu pas grand chose...

Beautiful small village with amazing gardens, sunset views, very beautiful pool and very kind personnel. The houses have beautiful gardens to sit in or have breakfast. But you can also have breakfast and dinner in the restaurant.

The house was a bit older and stuffy air but allover it was nice. I think others had a nicer layout.

Heated swimming pool was perfect and enjoyable even in bad weather. Beautiful flowers around property made the atmosphere. It was really cute village. Breakfast was superb.

For this price i would expect a bit more comfort: double bed was very small, bathroom was old - shower was old and mirror was stained. It was very dark around the house, the lights were super weak. There was no wifi in the house or by the pool - there was wifi only in the reception, not even in the restaurant. We had sunbeds next to the house but couldn’t really use them - no cushions and they were covered in spider net.

Krásná lokalita , promyšlený projekt, a s láskou realizovaný. Velký respekt ke všem, kteří se na revitalizaci staré vesnice podíleli- nyní je to živá, přátelská lokalita, s množstvím květin , spokojenými zvířaty na zídkami obehnaných pastvinách. V domku jsme našli vše, co, jsme potřebovali. Neobyčejně příjemný , prostorný a vyhřívaný komunální bazén. Úžasná, bohatá snídaně. Většinu dní jsme zde také s chutí večeřeli (výběr z několika chodů a jídel), bohatý vinný lístek.

Absolutely beautiful nature and views, Pool was amazing and heated, Food was expensive but amazing. All staff were friendly minus one. Very quiet and tranquil. Animals like the donkies and Cats were super cool and friendly and added a unique experience. Not too far from very beautiful hiking trails. definitely recommend for a single night to experience the history of the village but no more than a single night.

Double bed is super uncomfortable, back was sore the next day, only got about 4 to 5 hours of sleep, Rooms are very damp and ants are everywhere in the room and restaurant/bar. We stayed for a 4 day, 3 night stay and we attempted to get a refund for the last 3 days due to the bed and other reasons; however, the one reception lady was a little rude to me and my wife and refused our refund outright with no other options of compensation. We paid 873 euros for the 4 day stay and had to pay another 183 euros a night at another Villa owned by the same company with no flexibility of transferring days from there to the other. We ended up paying over to 2000 euros due to not being able to get a refund. basically 800 euros were thrown out the window as we did not stay here and moved on. No sleep makes for a bad vacation.

Property is really unique of an old village, great way to reuse what already exited instead of building new. The restaurant was excellent and I can’t pick what was the best thing we ate there. The pool (heated) facilities were also super nice!

We caught a rainy and windy day, which can’t be controlled, but water leaked in all the rooms causing issues, no cleaning at all, no picking up garbage, nothing. The houses were remodeled when first bought and opened but they are in serious need up a face lift.

ALLES!!! Wohnen in einem Dorf, was will man mehr? Es war so toll, ich wollte gar nicht mehr weg. Wir haben uns in unserem Häuschen so wohl gefühlt. Schlafzimmer, Wohnbereich mit Sofa und gut ausgestatteter Küche, kleinem Bad. Und einem super tollen privaten Garten! Links Blick zum Meer und den Sonnenuntergang, rechts Blick auf das Dorf und die Berge. Der Pool ist so schön gelegen und beheizt. Das Restaurant mit Außenterrasse serviert jeden Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück (teilweise Buffet, teilweise à la carte). Das Abendessen ist sehr, sehr gut. Großer, kostenloser Parkplatz. Nach Faja Grande kann man wandern, nach Fajazinha auch.

El lugar es único, romántico y la comida del restaurante muy buena aunque la carta era un poco reducida. La piscina caliente es top y el masaje genial para acabar un dia de barranquismo.

Las casitas necesitan mejor mantenimiento, enchufes que no funciona an, falta de luz y bastantes juntas (sobretodo baño) sin hacer donde entran bastantes hormigas.

Krásné hobití domečky kousek od útesu, nádherné výhledy a úžasný bazén. Asi nejkrásnější ubytování na ostrově.

Naše chatička měla průchozí ložnici, což ve 4 člené skupině nebylo ideální.

In der Küche zur Verfügung stehende Gewürze resp. Öl, Salz, Pfeffer usw. wäre nett. Wurde uns jeweils auf Wunsch eine kleine Portion vom Restaurant zur Verfügung gestellt.

A bit cold - one heater wasn’t enough to cover the house

Beautiful grounds and location! Loved the views and trail in the back of the property. Staff was very nice and helpful and the food in the restaurant was superb.

Bed was a little uncomfortable but ok

Eine tolle Idee ein altes, verlassenes Dorf für ein Hotel zu nutzen. Tolle, authentische Häuser mit der Möglichkeit selbst zu kochen oder das Restaurant zu nutzen. Man hat sogar einen kleinen privaten Garten an den Häusern. Uma ótima ideia usar uma antiga e abandonada aldeia para um hotel. Casas autênticas e maravilhosas com a possibilidade de cozinhar você mesmo ou usar o restaurante. Mesmo as casas têm um pequeno jardim privado.

A envolvência da casa é espetacular, ficámos na casa mais perto da piscina aquecida e mais perto do estacionamento. Tanto na chegada como no check-out há um funcionario que vem ajudar a transportar a bagagem, a pé ou de mota, torna se muito prático porque o piso da aldeia é todo em pedra. O pequeno almoço é muito bom e o restaurante para almoçar ou jantar igualmente

Do facto de não ter uma sala de estar com um sofá

È tutto magnifico, la struttura, le case, la zona piscina, la zona colazione (ottima) e tutto lo staff gentilissimo. Vicinissimo alle cascate di Ribeira do Ferreiro. Un oasi di pace! Ps: perfetto anche per un bimbo piccolo

Colazione di buona qualità, posizione molto tranquilla. Struttura molto originale.

Isolamento acustico pressoché inesistente. Il tetto era isolato malissimo e si avverte subito in quanto c'è sempre vento e di notte c'erano tantissimi spifferi d'aria. Personale zona colazione non sempre cordiale.

Wij hebben met zijn vier ontzettend genoten van de locatie. De omgeving is prachtig! Het huisje is heerlijk ouderwets en je hebt helemaal het gevoel dat je in een lokaal oud dorpje verblijft! Het ontbijt en diner wat je hier kon krijgen was ook top! Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten. Het zwembad is ook mooi en verwarmd! Zelfs in April kon je een duik nemen.

In de periode wanneer wij er waren (april) kan het wat fris zijn. Het huisje welke wij hadden, had in de badkamer en eetkamer/keuken geen verwarming. Dit kon in de avond wat fris zijn onder het genot van een glas wijn. Ze hadden 1 mobiel kacheltje, dit zorgde ervoor dat het iets comfortabeler was.

A great accomodation comfortable local experience with fantastic breakfast. Fully recommended!

The houses and facilities strike a beautiful balance between authenticity and comfort. Sustainability is obviously taken very seriously and done well. We had the farthest house in the village, which was simple but comfortable and had everything we needed, including lots of privacy. Our luggage was brought to our house which was very convenient as it was a bit of a walk. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and communication was great throughout our stay. The breakfast and restaurant are wonderful too. Even the local animals, including the many cats, were very friendly and added to the experience. All in all, one of the most memorable stays we have had. Highly recommended.

El entorno maravilloso en una aldea completa reformada como complejo de alojamientos rurales. La casa tenía todo lo necesario. Al ser caminitos de piedras desde la recepción hasta cada una de las casas, ellos te llevan las maletas sin problema.

A la casa que nos tocó le faltaba algun armario donde colocar la ropa y más superficies donde poner nuestras pertenencias (no se si el resto de casas tenían el mismo problema).

Very thoughtful staff, amazing organisation. This was the perfect place for us to stay on the Azores. Breakfast was wonderful, the restaurant great, the view of the sea and waterfall leave you speechless. It’s also right on some of the main hiking trails on the island. Lovely animals all around. Very clean.

It was a fantastic choice to stay in Aldeia da Cuada for our trip to Flores. The place is simply amazing! The personal IS great! The breakfast was fantastic, we loved absolutely everything in this place.
