Grote kamer. Je verblijft eigenlijk in de pub (achter de pub), wat makkelijk is om bvb. 's avonds iets te eten, nog iets te drinken, ... .

Sanitair (douche) was niet helemaal netjes.

Shower was very small and needed updating. Also lots of traffic noise. People on their phones, children riding bikes and dogs right outside our accomodation.

Struttura in posizione comoda se si fa tappa in mezzo alle Cotswolds. Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto al pub adiacente, tutto molto buono. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Essen vor Ort, schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Für eine Nacht auf Durchreise sehr zu empfehlen.

The location and proximity to Salisbury is good. Good food and service.

Ein schönes Landhotel mit freundlichem Personal. Kein Frühstück, dafür aber ein gutes Speiseangebot abends im eigenen Restaurant. Sehr große Wiese zum draußen Sitzen.

La struttura è comodissima per visitare Stonehenge. Inoltre avendo un pub, c’è la possibilità di cenare senza doversi spostare altrove. Staff molto cordiale e gentile.

La camera è molto spartana e questo ci può anche stare, ma non è consigliabile per chi è aracnofobico perché la stanza era piena di ragni.

Really good value stay for a trip to Stonehenge. The room was a great size and the bed was comfy. The staff were lovely too. As an added bonus, we had the large pub garden virtually to ourselves and it was right next to our room. A treat on a warm summer evening. There's no breakfast but the Spa next door has all the basics.

The pub is on a busy road, so bring earplugs. We did and were fine.

Slight imperfections but not really an issue and made it more like home! No breakfast location at property or nearby.

The location was ideal for my needs, in visiting Stonehenge and then travelling onwards after staying the night. The room was comfortable and well-equiped and excellent value.

Maybe a shelf in the shower but that's just nit-picking.

Abbiamo alloggiato qui perché la posizione é ottima: vicinissima a Stonehenge. La struttura é molto carina, semplice ed essenziale ma molto ordinata e pulita. Il pub é molto bello e il personale ci ha accolto con il sorriso. Bellissima esperienza!

Good value, nice garden and close to route to the West Country

L'établissement est pratique pour aller visiter Stonehenge ou Salisbury. Il est agréable de pouvoir se poser dans le jardin, et le pub permet de manger alors qu'il n'y a pas grand chose autour. Le staff est sympathique, et il y a beaucoup de places de parking.

La chambre donnait directement sur la terrasse du pub, ainsi j'ai été gênée par la clientèle à plusieurs reprises. Aussi, étant en période de grosse chaleur, les éclairages de la terrasse restent allumés pour la nuit alors que j'aurais voulu pouvoir laisser le store levé pour rafraichir la chambre avec la minuscule fenêtre typique d'Angleterre. De plus il y avait une fuite du tuyau de douche.

I liked the garden and very friendly staff, one drawback is the heavy traffic, which doesn't stop, even at night. For visiting Stonehenge, it is the perfect place to stay.

Cheap and cheerful! Very good value for money. Couple of little niggles but put right straight away. The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. The pub food was delicious and atmosphere really great. The pub garden was beautiful and right beside the river. Would return!

We used the Pelican as a mid journey stop over. It's location and price suited that purpose. Had a meal in the bar. Went for the steak and a drink deal. Food and service was good. Beer garden was nice with a famous chalk stream known for fly fishing.

Room could do with a deep clean. (Room 2) Bed linen OK. Bed wasn't very comfortable but everyone has thier own opinion. Wardrobe was dirty at the bottom. Bathroom had toothpaste from last occupant in the basin, shower dribbling continuously, shower surround was dirty with mouldy silicon and grout. The tile grout was dirty. A bit of TLC would change things for the better. Outside the room is a smoking area so if you opened the window for fresh air (this was 2nd July with hi temperature outside) you had the joy on cigarette smoke in the room even though the room was non smoking/vaping! Photos of the room on BKIN. Com looked better than we got.

Tv far too small but not a big issue

A very nice lady checked me in and took me my room. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bedding felt fresh. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Nothing major, a small window was messing a latch. Because I couldn't close it, I heard the traffic a bit.

The riverside location was excellent. the outside orchard area was good. The staff were very good in a very difficult situation.

The rooms were very tired in terms of decor, broken doors on cabinets, a very smalll elderly tv with an archaic indoor ariel... comfortable enough but not attractive.. There was no breakfast and the evening restaurant had very little available inspite of many very attractive menus. We ordered repeatedly only to be told sorry weve run out... it was as though they did not actually know what they had in sytock. Very poor. The Pelican was clearly run down and under developed. The kitchen was ill supplied etc but the staff tried hard to make out stay pleasant knowing so much was not right, the proprietor arrived late in the evening and didnt even introduce herself or make apology. She very anonymously said "everything alright?" as she walked past.

Its in a lovely little area and a short drive to many other locations to visit and sightsee. The room was a lovely large size with your own on-suite shower/toilet and a sofa bed, so suitable for 4 adults. Fridge in the room, also a kettle, TV and free wifi. Plenty of outside seating in the pub garden. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced.

Not a dislike as such, but breakfast is not an option as they are not open until 12. However there is a petrol station next door so we got some breakfast sarnies. Booking.com.has check out at 11am, but when we booked in, we were told that check out is by 10am.

The location was extremely convenient as we were working in Wilton, just a 10 minute drive away. There was plenty of parking and as the place was practically deserted, it was relatively quiet. Beds were comfortable and there were enough facilities included (towels, shower gel etc) for it to be adequate as a budget stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room was pretty basic – a chalet with two beds and furnished with some kitchen cupboards. A large fridge was included, but this had an open can of Fosters lager left in it which was a little off putting. Bathroom was looking very tired – the toilet roll holder was broken for instance, but at £72 a night, it was still cheaper than a Travelodge and closer to where we needed to be. The checking in system did suggest I still owed money (apparently something to do with a delay via booking.com), but the staff were eventually satisfied that I'd paid when I showed them my banking transactions.

The setting was so relaxing. The room was very comfortable and opened onto a beautiful beer garden overlooking a quiet stream which held trout. The restaurant was very British and the food excellent. The staff were incredible - welcoming, helpful and attentive - remembering our preferences after one evening. We would definitely stay again!

Cold room heater broke ..very small..no blind on bathroom window on ground floor ..blind in lounge could see people looking in when it was shut so no privacy ..

The rooms seriously need updating. They are set in the pub car park and a small block of rooms. Not connected to the main building and no one available after the pub closes. Just some mobile numbers if you need help. In need of serious update!!

Ottima soluzione economica per alloggiare nei pressi di Stonehenge, camere basiche ma confortevoli, piccolo bagno con doccia e prodotti a disposizione, bollitore, letto comodo e quiete intorno alla struttura. Il pub offre un pò di tutto, ma non servono la colazione purtroppo. Personale gentile con meraviglioso bassottino!

Easy location to find, very welcoming and accommodating staff. Simple but comfortable in the pub. Good local beer. Great garden space (beautiful wisteria). Perfect for our needs.

The room was fantastic. Had everything we needed and a beautiful view over the garden . Very clean and comfortable. The only criticism was that the mirror in the bathroom was very high and I had to stand on tip toe whilst having a shave , and I'm not short . Pub meal was very good and staff very helpful. Had a very good evening there . Beer garden huge and very well kept with loads of tables . Highly recommend.

The bed was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy.

The room was very tired. The wall paper was torn from the wall in several places, the toilet roll holder had been snapped off. It's very dated. It has kitchen style cupboards in it. The taps in the bathrooms continually run. The shower was fine. Parking was easy. Checking in we were told by the first person he had no idea what he was doing so he needed to get the manager. We stayed here to visit Larkhill camp and it was a £45 taxi journey away so beware if you're thinking of using it for that. I wouldn't visit the Pelican Inn again.

Great pub with good food for dinner. The rooms are external motel style and are comfortable if a bit dated. The room had a fridge, which was great, but the fridge door was hanging of. Great value just in need of a bit of tlc.

It was a convenient location for where we needed to be. The lady who checked us in was excellent, very enthusiastic and obviously loved her job. The bed was comfortable and clean. The room rate for the night was very reasonable.

It was cold in the restaurant despite the fires, there were quite a few choices not available on the menu, and my meal was very disappointing, and not good value for money. The shower in the room was not particularly pleasant either.

La stanza è ampia e comoda. C' è un parcheggio per la macchina. È a 10 minuti di auto da Stonehenge. Nella stessa struttura si può mangiare o bere qualcosa.

Le stanze sono scarsamente insonorizzate. La pulizia non è ottimale. Al pub dell'hotel offrono dei menù "piatto + bibita" dove però, in modo un po' poco corretto, non avendo le bibite scritte sul menù te ne fanno ordinare altre e poi te le mettono in conto per intero, aggiungendole al costo del menù.

We was very surprised with the room, it was very comfortable and warmed up quite quickly once we got the heaters on!!

There was no clear labels on any electrical items to indicate a PAT test has been completed and the Fire Extinguisher appeared to have been last checked in 2021 where as I am sure this should be checked annually.

Our room was not cleaned properly. Mould in the shower, grime at the bottom of the shower. Toothpaste in the sink. Hair on our pillows. Room had not been vacuumed.cobwebs on the walls and ceiling. Wi-Fi was poor. Door lock was not working properly. You could hear the people in the next room as if they were in your room. Food was also below standard.
