Maria!! The owner is an absolute gem, hospitality st its finest!!! The hotel is well located and centrally located!! Maria gives you pointers and takes care of you like a mom, highly recommend!!

Top locatie, wel aaneen ietwat drukke weg. Enorm schoon, heerlijk zwembad en top ontvangst / service van Mary de eigenaresse. Mary is enorm behulpzaam en gastvrij. Naast Sun mare bevindt zich een heel goede koffie tent (Coffee Berry) met lekkere broodjes. Ook Mary kan ontbijt , lunch e.d. verzorgen

niets , in eerste instantie ietwat drukke weg maar na dag 1 eigenlijk geen probleem meer.

Echt een aanrader! Wat een fijn appartement Super schone kamers en een mooi zwembad De eigenaresse Mary is ook zo aardig. Vraag haar iets en ze regelt het gelijk voor je. Het appartement ligt heel centraal… Het is een klein stukje lopen en je ben bij het strand, winkels en restaurants in het dorp Faliraki De bushalte zit aan de overkant van het appartement Ook fantastisch als je er ook van houd om ook wat dingen te doen en in de avonden naar Rhodos stad wil. 15/20min met de bus dus prima Want Taxi’s zijn daar wel lastig te krijgen. Mary ontzettend bedankt! We voelden ons heel welkom Wij komen zeker een keer terug. 🥰

The location was perfect for hiring cars and a short walk to nightlife. Great restaurants short walking distance. Mary Thermou was a fabulous host and runs a tight ship. Nothing is too much trouble for her and we often asked for Greek dishes that were not on the menu shes a great chef!

There was nothing she could improve on, her maid cleaned to perfection everyday.

Vi hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold på hotellet. Rommet var rent, moderne og komfortabelt. Mary var imøtekommende, profesjonelle og alltid villige til å hjelpe med spørsmål og ønsker. Hotellets beliggenhet var også svært praktisk, med kort avstand til både sentrum og lokale attraksjoner. Vi satte særlig pris på den gode servicen og den hyggelige atmosfæren under hele oppholdet. Alt i alt hadde vi en veldig positiv opplevelse, og vi vil gjerne anbefale hotellet til andre. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake. Takk for et flott opphold! 😊

Sun Maris was the perfect property for us. The location was in walking distance to many bars and restaurants but not close enough that the noise could be heard. The pool was a great size and there were plenty of sun loungers for guests. The studio room was perfect for us and it was cleaned every day. Mary was the most amazing host and we really appreciated the time she took to inform us on what we could do on the island. If we had any questions we knew we could ask Mary. Sun Maris is on a bus route travelling directly from the airport which was a great bonus.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights and had the absolute best time. The apartment was spotless, wonderfully clean, and had everything we needed—honestly, I wouldn’t change a single thing! The absolute highlight of our stay was our host, Mary, She was amazing and so helpful, even taking the time to sit down and chat with us, which made us feel so welcome. The location is fantastic and close to everything, and having the pool was such a great addition to relax by after exploring. We would definitely recommend staying here, and if we ever come back to Rhodes, we will 100% stay at Sun Maris again!

Me and my son had a great 4 night stay at the sun maris. Mary was amazing and looked after us. Can't fault the place at all. Location was handy for supermarket, bus stops and plenty ov eating places nearby. Quick walk into the centre and beach. The place was spotlessly clean and the room had everything you need for self catering. The pool was so nice and fresh and rhe sunbeds we very comfortable. All in all an amazing time and will definitely be back. Thanks again Mary xx

I stayed with my 16 years old son for a week at the beginning of July. Mary gave us very warm welcome, and we felt like we were visiting a family member. Mary was helpful with everything we needed, including the room and traveling information. The facility was extremely clean and cosy. Amazing experience.Highly recommend!

Die Unterkunft ist phantastisch und Mary die Inhaberin ausgesprochen aufmerksam und sympathisch. Man fühlt sich sofort aussergewöhlich wohl und willkommen. Schöne Anlage, schöner Pool, Klimaanlage und der Verkehr ist kaum zu hören.

am Sun Maria ist absolut gar nichts auszusetzen. Die Hauptstraße ist sehr schwierig zu überqueren, da sehr viel Verkehr.

We had the most amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better holiday! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Mary is incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely goes above and beyond to make sure every guest has a wonderful experience. The place is very clean throughout and the food was absolutely outstanding—every meal was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with so much care. Everything about our stay exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was relaxing, the hospitality was exceptional, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back. De locatie, de ontvangst, de hygiëne waren voortreffelijk. Sun Maris ligt centraal zodat zowel Rhodos stad als Lindos en andere bezienswaardigheden en mooie baaien op aanvaardbare afstand liggen. Wij hadden een auto tot onze beschikking, die we overigens heel makkelijk konden parkeren bij Sun Maris. Vanaf Sun Maris kun je makkelijk te voet Faliraki in om te winkelen of te eten en je loopt in 10 minuten naar het strand. De ontvangst was top! Mary ontving ons heel vriendelijk en legde ons aan de hand van een kaart uit wat we allemaal konden doen en waar we dan konden parkeren bijvoorbeeld. Heel fijn! We kregen ook heerlijke zelfgemaakte koekjes. Dat is natuurlijk niet nodig, maar je voelt je zo welkom! Mary nam echt de tijd voor ons. Ons appartement op de begane grond was ruim en heel schoon! Dat is heel fijn. Alles is netjes en schoon zowel in de kamers als daarbuiten bij het zwembad etc. Naast hulde aan Mary ook hulde aan de schoonmaakster, alles is piekfijn in orde. En zoals wel meer beoordelingen aangeven: coffee Berry naast Sun Maris is een aanrader voor allerlei soorten koffies, smoothies, broodjes, yoghurt bowls, etc.

Er viel ook niks tegen! Alleen dat we er maar 4 dagen waren en dat was te kort :).

We had the most awesome vacation in this hotel! So clean everywhere, great location, peaceful, nice pool and most importantly, lovely staff! We can’t thank the hotel owner Mary enough for everything that she did for us. We travelled with our boys, 5 and 8 years old, and Mary made them and us adults feel more than welcome. Such a warmhearted, lovely person, the heart of the hotel. Thank you Sun Maris, we will definitely come back!

A szállást az értékelések és az elhelyezkedése alapján választottuk ki. Érkezésünkkor Mary, az apartman tulajdonosa fogadott minket nagyon kedvesen, szívélyesen rögtön éreztük, hogy itt nagyon jól fogjuk magunkat érezni. A szoba, fürdőszoba, konyharész rendkívül tiszta volt, mindennap jött takarítani egy nagyon kedves hölgy, kaptunk kétnaponta új törölközőt, a klíma benne volt az árban és tiszta volt, ami nagyon fontos. A medence és környéke is makulátlan, a napágyakra mindig törölközőt kellett tenni, ezzel is megőrizve annak tisztaságát és higiéniáját. A kert gyönyörű, ápolt volt, érezhető, hogy nagyon odafigyelnek rá, mint mindenre. A képek, amiket korábban a szállásról néztünk, teljes mértékben megfeleltek a valóságnak. A buszmegálló 1 percre van, ahonnan mindenfelé (Rodosz város, Lindos stb.) el lehet jutni, mi még a reptérre is busszal mentünk ki. A Snack bárban több fajta étel és ital közül lehetett választani, reggeliztünk is többször és vacsoráztunk is. Kifogástalan volt minden étel, ital melyet nagy szeretettel készített nekünk Mary! Meleg szívvel ajánljuk mindenkinek, mert itt tényleg otthon éreztük magunkat!!!

Mary was an incredible kind and welcoming host who clearly takes great pride in her business, which is evident in the immaculate cleanliness of the entire property - including the exceptionally clean apartments and the pristine swimming pool that feels like your own private oasis; the spacious apartments are beautifully maintained complete with balconies and all the essentials, and Mary offers fantastic advice on local attractions. While other guests praised her exceptional cooking, even though we didnt dine there ourselves. The location is ideal just a 5min walk from the main town. And coffee lovers will appreciate the excellent café next door "Coffee Berry"

Die Gastgeberin Mary ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Person und ein warmherziger Mensch. Sie ist das Herz des familiengeführten Hotels. Die Lage ist günstig, es gibt mehrere sehr gute Bäckereinen, Supermärkte, Restaurants innerhalb 3-5 Minuten Laufentfernung.

Die Möbel und Badausstattung hat ihr Alter und könnte mal erneuert werden.

Mary, ägaren är helt fantastisk, gav många bra råd om vad göra i byn, hon är alltid tillgänglig, trevlig och omtänksam. Städning helt underbar, fläckfritt. Lugnt och trevligt, personlig service deluxe. Mycket bra läge, centralt med bussar precis utanför hotellet, många kaféer och matbutiker i närheten.

Allting var toppen, speciellt personalen, Maria.

Vi hadde det veldig bra under oppholdet på Sun Maris. Vi ble veldig godt mottatt og tatt vare på gjennom hele oppholdet. Renholdet i leiligheten var av topp kvalitet. På tross av at anlegget ligger tett inntil trafikkert veg, var uteområdet og bassenget godt skjermet mot trafikken og et sted vi fikk slappet godt av under hele oppholdet. Vi bodde 1 uke på Sun Maris. Mary er en solstråle og gjorde at oppholdet ble fylt av glede og mye latter.

Had a very pleasant stay at Sun Maris. Mary was a great host, very welcoming. The location is great; near the beach and local restaurants and has great transport links to places such as the Old Town and the Airport.

Ett jättefint hotell med bekväma rum och stort poolområde med stor, och djup, pool. Alltid gott om platser vid poolen. Rummet var välplanerat och hade stor uteplats/balkong. Busshållplats med avgång till flygplats och Rhodos stad direkt utanför. Mary var mer en hjälpsam och fick oss att känna oss så välkomna.

Vältrafikerad väg utanför men finns övergångsställen ett par minuters promenad bort.

We usually stay at 5-star hotels, but we chose this one because of the amazing reviews—and it turned out to be the best decision! The owner, Mary, is absolutely wonderful: warm, helpful, and so friendly. It felt more like staying at a cozy home than a hotel. Everything was very clean and beautifully maintained. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, and the beach is just a short walk away. We would love to come back someday—hopefully we will! 🙂

Værtinden Mary er helt fantastisk hjælpsom🤩 Lige fra ankomst til afrejse. Stedet ligger centralt til by og strand. Vi tog bussen til det meste , det var super nemt. Skønt pool område 🤩. Majoituksen sijainti oli hyvin keskeinen, huoneisto sijaitsee falirakin keskustassa ja sieltä on helppo ja nopea päästä rantaan ja yö-elämään. Uima-allas oli viileä sekä riittävän iso ja syvä. Parkkipaika oli helppokäyttöinen ja suoraan vastaanoton edessä.

Omistaja oli makuumme hiukan tunkeileva ja henkilökohtainen verrattuna yleiseen hotellien asiakaspalvelun standardiin. Emme päässeet heti omistajan suosioon koska jätimme ilmastoinnin päälle lähtiessämme huoneesta kaupungille kuuman sään ja puhelimien latauksen vuoksi. Tästä tai muusta tuntemmattomasta syystä jouduimme kestämään henkilökohtaisuuksiin menevää piikittelyä joka ei mielestämme ollut tarkoituksen mukaista lomallamme. Tästä valitettavasta syystä suosittelisin tutustumaan myös muihin upeisiin huoneistoihin ja hotelleihin, joita löytyy runsaasti Falirakista.

Alles! Op deze website de uitmuntende recensies gelezen en we dachten dat kan niet waar zijn.. er was niets aan gelogen. Mary is fantastisch, weet precies wat ze doet en is daar ontzettend goed in!Je voelt de oprechtheid en de liefde die ze in haar bedrijf en gasten steekt! Op de foto’s waren we een beetje huiverig voor de kamer, hadden geen hoge verwachtingen maar de kamer was echt top en zó schoon. Dat hebben wij nog op geen enkele locatie meegemaakt. Kregen na 2 dagen verse handdoeken, maar als we dit eerder hadden gewild mochten we dit vragen. Je kan alles aan Mary vragen wat je nodig hebt en ik weet zeker dat ze haar uiterste best doet om in je wensen te voorzien als dat binnen haar mogelijkheden ligt. Het zwembad is ruim, genoeg ligbedjes en lekker op temperatuur. Er is een barretje aanwezig en Mary kan heerlijke gerechten maken die ze graag met je deelt! Bushalte recht voor de deur waar je voor €3,50 pp vanaf het vliegveld kan komen. Op loopafstand van het strand, ontbijttentjes in de straat en echt vlakbij het centrum zonder last te hebben van de drukte. Voor het hotel uitzicht op een mooi kerkje. Mary gaf ook goede tips over de omgeving en waar te gaan eten! Wij waren helaas maar 4 daagjes, maar komen echt zeker terug!

Niets dat niet beviel! Enige tip die wij hebben is het zeeprekje uit de douche te halen zodat je net iets meer ruimte hebt.

Mary kindly greeted us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know about Rhodes and recommended loads of amazing places. She was always on hand to give us everything we needed. The property was super clean and location is fab, 100% recommend to anyone and we will be definately coming back

I contacted Mary before we arrived. She was very kind and flexible in everything. We arrived ahead of schedule, but that was no problem. We were given a map and lots of useful information about places to visit and recommended restaurants. The apartment is centrally located, yet quiet. A good base for exploring the sights. It has a super pool which we used a lot. The beach is within walking distance, supermarket nearby. Mary prepared us a delicious traditional lunch. <3 They cleaned the room daily and we thank them for that.

Mary a tulajdonos nagyon aranyos, segítőkész mindenben. A szállás nagyon tiszta, minden nap takarítottak. A medence nagyon nagy, és szép tiszta a vize. Ha Falirakira vissza térünk, akkor csak ezt a szállást választjuk, ajánlom mindenkinek!

Everything. Hotel incredibly clean. All public areas constantly cleaned. Apartments are spotless and have everything you need. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which had lots of space. Pool area and gardens lovely and again spotlessly clean even though we had a few large downpours of rain over our stay. Best bit about the place though is your host Mary. She owns and runs it and she never stops. She is the friendliest lady and so helpful with anything you need. We loved her and were so sad to leave after our 5 nights there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be returning someday.

Mary is ontzettend gastvrij en helpt je met alles. Ik voelde me direct heel erg welkom en op mijn gemak. Bij aankomst ontving Mary ons heel hartelijk en kregen we lekkere Griekse snacks, terwijl ze ons alle leuke plekken van Rhodos liet zien op de kaart. Hierdoor wisten we direct waar we naartoe wilden. Alles is ontzettend schoon. Het zwembad is fantastisch, altijd een bedje vrij aan het zwembad en overal plekken met zon maar ook schaduw door de parasollen. Bestel zeker wat te eten bij Mary, ze kan heerlijk koken en alles is vers en zelfgemaakt door haar. De locatie van het hotel is perfect, op loopafstand van het strand en het centrum van Faliraki. De bushalte zit vlakbij het hotel om naar Rhodos stad te gaan. Echt een geweldige vakantie gehad hier en zeker een aanrader om hier te boeken en te verblijven bij Mary! Een betere gastvrouw ga je niet vinden. 😊

Everything was perfect, Sun Maris is the place to be if you want to feel at home. Everything was clean, nice pool, good airconditioning, confortable beds, location is central to everything, 5 min walk to the beach, 1 min walk to bus stations, at 1 min away from reastuarants and cocktail bars. Mary is the warmest, and kindest person that I ever met, she will help you with every question you have. At the bar you have delicious drinks and food dat Mary makes. I wish my hollidays could be longer at Sun Maris. Worth to try. Greetings.

What a peaceful relaxing stay we had in Sun Maris. Spotlessly clean in all areas. The pool area and snack bar was beautiful. Mary the host was a gem. So helpful and would do anything for you. She organised taxi to collect from airport and going back. She organised our car hire and made beautiful snacks for us. Its a lovely small complex. Easy to relax and wind down. If you are looking for splash pools and late drinking this is not for you. I can see how people keep going back as customers to the lovely mary. We will certainly be back.

Fin solig vecka på Sun Maris! Perfekt välskött hotell med fin poolanläggning, vackra växter och belyst trädgård. Mary tycker mycket om sitt hotell och det märks, renare hotell är svårt att hitta i hela Grekland, allt med trapporna till rummet och området där man sitter och tar kaffe är fräscht, inbjudande och överallt står och finns Mary. Det var bekvämt med bestämt städningstid, poolhanddukar, handdukar och sängkläder bytes ofta, vi uppskattade den vänliga och leende städerskan som städade vårt rum. Mary som pratar utmärkt engelska hjälpte oss med vår tunga resväska, och bjöd oss på hemlagad grekisk rätt och goda bakelser på hennes namnsdag. Hennes personlighet och sättet hon tog emot gäster var imponerande, öppen och glad, bestämd, med glimt i ögat. Det tog oss 15 minuter att nå bra stränder vid hamnen där det finns många matställen, men vissa är dock turistfällor, som tar betalt för oljedressing till grekisk sallad, undvik dem. Men att bada, äta grekiska rätter och vara tillsammans med våra barnbarn gav oss glädje och inspiration för fortsatta resor till underbara Grekland. Vi saknar Mary, våra samtal om livet, avspänd atmosfär! Tack Mary och må bra, hälsa och välgång till Dig och din familj.

Everything. It was so chill, and still did have all what you asking for. The pool and staff was amazing.

Maybe the connection to wifi, that’s the only “problem” we had at our room sometimes but we didn’t care since we were on holiday and didn’t need much time in our phones.

Ottima posizione per Faliraki, vista aperta su un piazzale di una bellissima chiesa greca, dove si può ammirare l’alba o il sorgere della luna, che spesso è grande e di colore rosso. A due minuti a piedi dalla via principale dei locali notturni, tutti i vari ristoranti e supermercati. Nonostante la vicinanza alla strada principale non vi sono rumori fastidiosi, in più una volta chiusa la portafinestra non si sente più nulla perché isolata molto bene. Dotata di climatizzatore gratuito, che si rileva molto importante nelle giornate greche molto calde. Dotata di cucina, frigo e freezer, top per mantenere le bevande fresche o il ghiaccio nel congelatore. La struttura è dotata di due piscine che risultano molto utili nei tempi morti, dove poter passare qualche ora a rilassarsi, si può bere e mangiare in piscina, nelle giornate calde ci hanno portato della frutta in piscina offerte dalla struttura. Le pulizie vengono fatte quotidianamente e sono molto flessibili sugli orari di ogni ospite, inoltre non vengono a disturbare in camera finché non esci. La Signora della struttura è praticamente sempre presente fino almeno alle 11pm ed è super disponibile per ogni richiesta, come organizzare un taxi, dare consigli su noleggi, supermercati o tenerti i bagagli quando non hai più la camera. Signora molto generosa e ospitale. Personalmente è stata un’ottima vacanza in questa struttura.

We had an excellent short stay, the hotel is spotless and beautiful Nothing was too much trouble for Mary, she was brilliant to us. I would stay here again 100% and recommend it to everyone. Absolutely fantastic

We liked everything, no complaints what so ever

We could not recommend Sun Maris enough! We would recommend it to anyone traveling to Rhodes. From the moment we arrived, Mary made every moment brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely. Everything is spotlessly clean and the pool area is gorgeous, but also nice and quiet. The location is perfect for exploring Faliraki, walking distance to everything (Shops/Bars/Cafes/restaurants etc.)

We honestly enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The accommodation was sparkling clean and had all necessities. Simple but everything one would need for a holiday in the sun.

The hotel was perfekt everything was so cleen, and the hotel is perfektly located, close to everything in Faliraki, the swimmingpool is perfekt, the beds are so comforteble, Mary the host, is so fantastic, she does everything to make your stay perfekt, we Even got to have a late check out, becouse our fligt luft very late, you feel so welcome, and it feel like you are staðing with famely, we defenitly recomnend Sun Maris Hotel, and we Hope to Come back soon

like home away from home because Mary went the extra mile.

We liked absolutely everything. Great location, lovely spotless rooms, most comfortable beds we ever slept in, very relaxing time by the pool and overall most enjoyable experience while on holidays where we really felt like it was a home away from home. Exceeded expectations, big time. 💗 Mary (the owner) is some woman for one woman! Her energy is inspiring and uplifting, and Mary's sparkle is a bonus on top of everything. Victoria (housekeeper) is lovely too and very professional in her job. We will be regulars now, I'm sure. Can't wait to go back next season!

Mia (the cat) was very absent and walked her own paths all the time. We love cats so hoping next year she'll be more engaging 😉🤣

The fabulous host (Mary) and her team (Victoria) we’re so friendly and kind and couldn’t do enough for us. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the location brilliant. 5-10 mins walk from anywhere… fabulous, my wife and I can’t wait to go back 😀
