Nous quittons Carpe Diem aujourd’hui et, après plusieurs semaines à Koh Phangan, on peut clairement dire que c’est l’un des endroits qui aura marqué notre séjour. Le lieu est magnifique : un véritable petit havre de paix au milieu de la végétation, parfaitement entretenu, calme, avec de très beaux bungalows, une superbe piscine et tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir immédiatement bien. On s’y sent vraiment comme chez soi… au point qu’on n’avait franchement pas envie de partir ! Mais ce qui rend Carpe Diem vraiment spécial, c’est surtout l’accueil et la gentillesse de l’hôte. Toujours disponible, souriant, attentionné, prêt à aider, à donner de bonnes adresses ou des conseils sur l’île. Ce n’est pas simplement quelqu’un qui vous remet les clés d’un logement : on sent qu’il veut réellement que vous passiez le meilleur séjour possible. C’est exactement le genre d’endroit qui fait la différence entre de bonnes vacances et des vacances dont on se souviendra longtemps. Après notre séjour ici, on comprend parfaitement pourquoi Carpe Diem reçoit autant d’excellents commentaires. Si vous cherchez où loger à Koh Phangan, ne cherchez plus. Merci pour tout, vraiment. ❤️ On repart avec de magnifiques souvenirs et une seule certitude : si nous revenons à Koh Phangan, nous reviendrons ici sans hésiter ! 100 % recommandé. 🙏🇹🇭

Le lieu est super, entouré de verdure, intimiste. Plutôt calme. Piscine illimitée.

Accomodatie ligt op afstand van zee en bruisende centrum. Scooter nodig om ergens te komen.

I extended my stay by a couple of nights as I was really happy with the room, the comfort, the location. Great little place.

Súper confortable bed, lots of natural light in the room, the room and bathroom are very spacious and nicely decorated. The pool is a good bonus. Lucas is readily available to help with anything.

The neighbours can be a bit noisy but as soon as you close the doors to the bungalow most do the noise goes away.

Tout, la piscine, la taille et le confort du bungalow, les équipements avec la cuisine et le micro-onde. La clim était très bien. La terrasse est géniale très conviviale et agréable. Le personnel et le propriétaire Lucas sont adorables. Le ménage est fait tous les jours, avec de nouvelles serviettes, changement des poubelles. La localisation est top également, à l’écart dans un petit chemin donc totalement au calme mais seulement à 10min en scooter du port et 20-30 min des autres points de l’île à peu près. C’était vraiment le paradis, merci beaucoup

Leider hatten wir Pech mit der Klimaanlage, die erst nach zweimaliger Aufforderung notdürftig gerichtet wurde (es kamen Eiswürfel aus der Klima und sie machte sehr laute Geräusche). Der wlan-Router blinkt durchgehend, wir haben ihn abgedeckt, da es nachts stört. Die Lage ist nicht sehr zentral (keine Restaurants, Cafes oder Seven-Elevent in unmittelbarer Nähe). Wir hatten einen Roller, deswegen hat es uns nicht so gestört, sollte man allerdings beachten.

L'espace avec la piscine et la terrasse couverte accessible à tout moment. Nous avions un logement 2 chambres près de la piscine. J'avais vu dans les commentaires qu'il y avait des travaux et effectivement c'est en construction tout autour mais ça ne nous a pas derangé ! On a apprécié que Lucas nous commande les scooter. Lucas, le gestionnaire, très cool a chaque fois répondu à nos demandes !

La cuisine est sympa mais on ne peut pas l'utiliser car manque d'ustensiles : nous étions 4 et n'avions pas un couvert par personne😄 et pas une seule casserole ou poêle (donc la plaque de cuisson ne sert à rien). Peut être aurait t-il fallut demander à Lucas ! Les robinetteries des salles de bain sont vieillissante s ( il n'y a plus de douche de tête 🫤) Nous aurions apprécié une petite bouteille d'eau à l'arrivée !

Super emplacement, nous avions la maison avec une chambre : très grand, super confort, salon très appréciable et cuisine pouvant dépanner, sdb grande, eaux chaude et très bon débit Notre hôte est super, répond dans la seconde en cas de questions relatives à des adresses etc L’espace piscine est sublime Super rapport qualité / prix Je recommande les yeux fermés

Revoir le bruit de la tuyauterie dans la sbd et le plateau en bois

Très bel endroit dans un lieu un peu sauvage. Très bon accueil Bungalow (Namastee) décoré avec goût et très propre Scoot à dispo, pratique pour visiter l'île. Si nous revenons sur l'île nous saurons où loger.

Un peu reculé du centre mais la beauté de l'endroit éfface ce point négatif.

Irritierend war etwas, dass bei booking Adults Only steht und dann aber trotzdem mehrere Kinder in der Unterkunft waren. Hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört!

Schöne begrünte Anlage in Thong Sala, abseits vom Trubel, geräumiges Haus, gute Ausstattung und netter Pool zu relaxen. Freundlicher Gastgeber, jederzeit für Anliegen erreichbar. Empfehlenswert!

Die Katze die uns jeden Tag besucht hat war das grösste Highlight 😍 Lucas war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Im Badezimmer hatte es am Lavabo unten Holzwürmer, weshalb es immer wieder Bohrmehl am Boden hatte.

Situation géographique en retrait du centre mais relativement proche à condition d'avoir un véhicule. La gentillesse et la disponibilité de Lucas le gérant.

Peu être la douche un peu froide et avec un débit trop faible. Cependant, je n'en ai pas fait la remarque au gérant qui j'en suis sûr aurait certainement réglé le problème rapidement.

Fijne rustige omgeving. Schone kamer en mooie tuin.

Gute Unterkunft mit perfekter Lage um die Insel zu erkunden! Der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und hilfsbereich. Auch die Außenanlage ist sehr schön. Wir würden wieder kommen 🙂

Un cadre très mignon et paisible. Notre bungalow était très spacieux, très propre et disposait de tous les équipements nécessaires (même une cuisine fonctionnelle, si besoin). La chambre et la salle de bain étaient également très grandes. Piscine à disposition très agréable.

I liked that the apartment was large, spacious and very cozy, with a wide sofa and high ceilings, and the guy who welcomed me was very, very nice to me and let me stay a few hours beyond the time I had to check out.

There's a sign in the kitchen that guests should wash dishes after themselves, I think the sign shouldn't be there

This villa is truly beautiful – spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Having a fully equipped kitchen and a private pool made our stay incredibly relaxing. The host is amazing: very kind, responsive, and attentive, which made everything feel effortless from start to finish. The level of comfort is so high that it’s genuinely hard to leave once you settle in. Towels were changed every two days, and the villa was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and a stress-free stay in Koh Phangan.

Cleanliness, beds were comfortable, linnen, towels, good atmosphere and space, nice baby cot, nice host and check in experience. Very relaxing atmosphere and quiet surroundings but close to main roads, restaurants and shops. Really great for family getaway with young kids.

No cutlery or dinnerware for kids or baby high chair for feeding. No initial drinking water provided Pool needs a bit of cleaning

Sehr ruhig gelegene Anlage mit Liebe zum Detail. Mit dem Scooter ist man schnell im Trubel. Fußläufig sind zwei Restaurants erreichbar. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

הזרם של המים במקלחת לא כל כך טוב והמים לא חמים, יש הרבה מאוד חרקים באיזור זה כמו ג׳ונגל

מקום מושלם לחופשה משפחתית, חדרים נעימים, מטבח מאובזר, בריכת שחייה, סביבה ירוקה ושקטה. ממש מושלם.

הכרית הייתה מעט קשה,אבל חוץ מזה באמת שהכל היה נהדר.

המיקום מצויין קיבלנו בית שלם לעצמנו, עם שני חדרים ושני שירותין ומקלחת. מיטות נוחות מאוד,מקלחת עם זרם מצויין ומים חמים. יש בריכה בחוץ שהיא מספיק גדולה כדי לעשות קצת שחייה. המארח מושלם!! זמין תמיד עוזר בכל שאלה הגיע מיד שהייתה בעיה כלשהי דאג לנו לאופנעים להשכרה ברגע שהגענו למרות שהיה כבר ערב וגבה מאיתנו רק חצי מחיר על כך. היה מהמם!! מומלץ מאוד מאוד הסכים לזרום איתנו על שעת צ'אק אאוט

המקלחת מעט מוזנחת הסבון והשמפו היו מעט מלוכלכים ואזור הכיור מעט ישן. זה לא הפריע בכלל להנאה מהשהות במקום שביל הגישה למתחם קצת קשה שצריך לגרור מזוודות גדולות מכיוון שיש שם חצץ ולא שביל

Nous avons tout aimé ! La maison est grande et spatieuse, la cuisine est vraiment agréable, la décoration est belle. Lucas, le propriétaire est très gentil et donne de bons conseils. Le coin piscine et le jardin sont vraiment agréables.

Logement très propre mais attention sous le lit, dans les petits recoins... Attention, Carpe diem residence n’est pas fait pour les personnes ayant peur des insectes, varans, serpents, araignées,...car c'est la jungle !

Alojamiento muy bonito, ideal si quieres relajarte y disfrutar de la isla. Se recomienda alquilar moto para moverte por la isla porque los taxis son bastante caros. Lucas nos ayudó en todo momento, muy amable y simpático! Muy recomendable!

We loved our time here, it was like an oasis hidden on Koh Phangan. Out of the central area but still very easily reachable, it was peaceful and relaxing. The apartments were clean and well conditioned too. House keeping changed our towels even though we were only there 4 nights and our check in and out were smooth. Not a negative thing nor a thing which was an issue for us, there were cats roaming the property. However, really no faults during our stay here! We loved it :)

Cosy beds , clean and tastefully decorated rooms. Could do with a few more kitchen things but is still an exceptional stay. A lovely quiet space , 100% somewhere we'd stay again. Location is super practical if you have a bike. Love this property , you really feel at home!

Lovely little bungalow. Great area if you have a motorbike. Luca is a great guy who goes out of his way to be helpful. The only slightly negative comment is that the bungalows need just a bit of TLC. We would stay again and would recommend.

One the best value for money option. Friendly responsive staff, good location close to everything you ever need, spacious rooms. We had a very good time being there

the only thing I could pick on was maybe about the water to shower. It only got lukewarm and we couldn't seem to get it to hot water, which was a shame, but that is my personal opinion because I enjoy hot showers

The pool and other units seemed fine.

The unit I stayed in (the small one) should be bulldozed. The guests in the larger units seemed to be having a good time. Mine was dilapidated in every way, stained sheets, endless bugs (helped by a pharoah ant infestation and a door that doesn't seal). The host messages me the night before that I could check out "late" at 11am when I did not ask for a late check out. There is only one employee that works at the property and she (the housekeeper) doesn't start her shift until 11am. This fake favor offered really pissed me off after everything. I had to leave my surge protector there because the pharoah ants were crawling all over it and they're known to infest electronics. I'll have to launder my luggage as well as pharoah ants are known to like to fly back to your home as well. The host who doesn't work on the property had the housekeeper buy ant spray but this doesn't appear to work on them. I actually found even more the next morning after fumigating the place with it. Of course I wanted out of this place asap and left early in the morning. The only way around this tourists texting and using selfie sticks on scooters (without helmets) as they ignore the dogs starving to death all over the streets island is by riding a scooter with these drunk/high tourists and tempting fate. (The resident tourists/visa holders are no better). You are 4 kilometers from the nearest songthaew and bolt and grab do not exist. PS... don't go in the ocean, the tourists are insta-famous for defecating in it.

The hotel is exactly as it is described. Actually it looked more like a little village to us because everyone gets its own bungalow. It's really nice, as you have a common area with pool but still a lot of privacy. It's located a bit outside of the main city - 5 to 10min by scooter to the port. Stil, for us it was the perfect spot, as you can easily explore the island in all directions (north, south, east+west). But a scooter or car is definitely a must! The room was quite big and there is everything you need and even more (comfy bed, air con, enough storage space, fridge, TV, full body mirror, safe). The room and the common area are very lovely furnished! What we liked most about our room was the big and spacious bathroom. It was the biggest bathroom we had in Thailand so far. We also liked the warm welcoming of Lucas. We were almost 2 hours too early with checking in, actually just wanted to drop our bags but the room was already set for us. What a nice surprise and thank you so much again!

The area around the Carpe Diem Residence is full of construction work at the moment. So it's not the best place, if you wanna have a quiet day by the pool or sleep in. As soon as this is done, we're sure it'll be a good spot to chill and hang out again. Until then: Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper and want to sleep in. Carpe Diem Residence is a really nice place with a lovely and personal touch. Mostly because of the furnishing, Lucas hospitality and all the lovely details. It may be important to refresh some things (shower caddy), do a little update (pillows by the pool, chair cushions) or clean things properly (fan, curtains, stains on sheets) over the next years - to make sure, Carpe Diem Residence stays this magical place.

Lucas is a really great, helpful host. bungalows are clean and cosy, you can find there everything you need. very soft, comfortable bed.

it's basically located in the jungle so you can expect a lot of mosquitoes, bugs etc. you need a car/scooter to go anywhere from there.

Best value for money, the place is very quiet in the middle of the jungle, the villas are amazing and hospitality of Lucas was wonderful, we had a problem with the A/C in one room and he sent a technician right away to fix it. It’s a great place for big family who are looking for a place that can fit everyone, highly recommended

The path between the villas is not asphalt but a rock path and most of the villas are without A/C in the living room

Beautiful garden in a super calm environment. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I've ever slept in in Thailand.

Lucas and his staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is quite but short way to Thongsala and beaches. We missed nothing.
