We recently stayed at the Angsana Zhuhai and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was nothing short of impeccable. A heartfelt thank you to the wechat concierge team – Flora, Holly, and Sini – who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Their attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism truly set this resort apart. They made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our entire visit. The resort’s bar is a standout, offering a super nice panoramic view of the Zhuhai Bridge and the vast ocean. It’s the perfect spot to unwind in the evening. The restaurant also impressed us with great food and attentive service; every meal was a delight. The pool area is fantastic and extremely children-friendly. Our kids absolutely loved it. We booked a poolside room, and the highlight was having a pool canal right outside our balcony that leads directly to the main pool. The children could not get enough of this fun feature. The room itself was beautifully decorated, with a spacious bathroom and a large bathtub – perfect for relaxing after a day of fun. The resort’s close proximity to the Banyan Tree hotel is a huge bonus. It gives you access to even better dining options. While a bit on the pricier side, the food there is definitely worth the splurge. **A few mino suggestions for improvement:** - The wine selection at the restaurants could be more varied and better curated. A wider range of options would greatly enhance the dining experience. - Our son was extremely disappointed that all the chocolate macarons were sold out for the entire weekend. Given the resort's high standards, we were surprised that such a popular item was not restocked. We hope this can be addressed for future guests. Despite these small hiccups, our stay was memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend the Angsana Zhuhai for families seeking a luxurious, fun, and service-oriented getaway. We will definitely return, thanks in no small part to the incredible team led by Flora, Holly, and Sini.

Side of room and view

Facilities are built for instagram/ pictures. Not a true resort as advertised. Dark hallways not enough lightings, Private beach is meaningless - guests are not allowed to go into water , was told by staff that they do not want to assume liability about injury due to sharp rocks and shells and I will say the least about trash floating along shore line swimming pools are built for kids mostly , there’s no hot tub Only 1 Thai restaurant is open during the week.

Понравилось все. Классный персонал, вкусные и разнообразные завтраки, чистые и просторные, а главное очень красивые и стильные номера.

We had a wonderful stay here with our child. The hotel is genuinely family-friendly, and the kids’ activities were thoughtfully designed—not just for show, but truly engaging and enjoyable. There were different activities scheduled each day, like simple crafts, interactive games, and small group sessions that made it easy for kids to participate and have fun. You could really see the effort the staff put into creating a warm and welcoming environment for families. And staff Stella is so friendly and kind！ What I appreciated most was how relaxed everything felt. It wasn’t overly structured or overwhelming—just the right balance that allowed both kids and parents to enjoy the experience. Our child had such a great time that leaving the hotel was actually the hardest part. Overall, a lovely stay, and we would definitely come back again.

Stayed: April 17–19, 2026 | Room: Sea View Pool Duplex Villa | Travel Type: Couple My wife and I booked the Sea View Pool Duplex Villa at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay for one reason and one reason only, the private pool. We are long-time Banyan Tree guests, having stayed at properties in Phuket, Bangkok, and Macau over the past decade. We trusted the brand. That trust was misplaced. The pool was ice cold and completely unusable for the entirety of our stay. When we raised this with staff, we were told the heater is switched off at night due to noise. Fine, except the water never reached a swimmable temperature during the day either, despite repeated complaints. So what exactly are you paying the premium for? A decorative water feature? When we followed up formally with management, the response was a nominal discount that frankly felt insulting. No meaningful effort to make things right. If you advertise a private pool as the centrepiece of a villa category and charge accordingly, it needs to actually work. Full stop. Beyond the pool debacle, the property needs to be judged with clear eyes. By mainland China standards, this may pass as a five-star hotel. By Hong Kong or international standards, it is nowhere close. The finishes, the service standards, the overall feel, it is a mid-tier property wearing a luxury badge. The food reinforced this impression. Perfectly acceptable for a mid-range hotel, but nothing that would justify the rates or the brand name attached to it. If you have dined at any genuine five-star property in Hong Kong, Macau, or Southeast Asia, you will find the offerings here forgettable. Staff were friendly enough but English-speaking ability was poor, which made communicating our concerns more difficult than it should have been at a property operating under an international luxury brand. We have stayed at competitors like Ayana in Bali more recently and the gap in quality, service, and value is stark. The Banyan Tree name used to mean something to us. After this experience and the dismissive response to a legitimate complaint, we will think very carefully before booking any property in this group again. If the private pool matters to you, and presumably it does if you are paying for a pool villa, book elsewhere until they sort out their heating situation. You are paying five-star villa prices for a cold plunge pool you never asked for.

Staff attention and dedication.

Wi Fi connection

The resort meets all the basic requirements of a resort. The view from my room is very beautiful, feels like I was in Bali.

The check-in was badly managed and I did not get a room until almost 6pm. From my arrival at 3pm to 6pm, it was total chaos in the lobby! There were so many angry guests in the lobby and it was totally out of managed.

The location of the hotel is excellent with a fantasic view of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge and the Zhuhai Opera House. The Sea View room is spacious with 2 basins in the bathroom so there is no need to wait too long for using the basins if there are more than 2 people staying in the room. The staffs in the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Some facilities in the hotel room are getting old. For example, the basin drains in the room are always leaking despite being fully plugged. The TV remote sometimes malfunctions and becomes out of control (?Running out of battery). I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and the key to my room didn't work on the second night of my stay and I needed to go to the reception to rectify the problem.

My family and I stayed at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made our stay exceptional. Kim at reception set the tone right away — incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. It’s rare to feel that well looked after the second you walk through the door, but he managed it effortlessly. Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet itself was great, but what really stood out was Bill in the restaurant. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. It’s clear he takes pride in making guests feel comfortable. Overall, the service from both Kim and Bill made my stay feel personal and memorable. A wonderful hotel with truly outstanding staff.

The staff hospitality. It’s our second time staying and the staff hospitality is exceptional, both at concierge or ground staff.

Nothing not to like

房间面积、设施；早餐

環境不錯。

有某些房內設備比較舊。

It was very spacious. Room service was quite efficient.

The toilet was a bit smelly. The birthday cake wasn’t nice.

Breakfast is v chill and luxurious

I stayed with my friends for two nights in a seaview room in October, the first impression was very spacious, at the receiption area, and so as my room. The room is clean and the balcony facing the Phoenix bay (I guess) , the sound of the waves was relaxing. I like it very much. The bath room and toliet were clean, only the ventilation in the shower room could be improved, or suggest to keep showroom door open after used. Plenty of varieties in the buffet breakfast, and I highly recommend the Thai restaurant in the hotel, the oysters, crab, and raw prawns we loved them. They have live music during the weekends, the drinks were good, it would be better if have more cocktail options. The coffee at the lobby coffe shop '糖水舖' was a bit blend. The pool is very big and deep enough for swimming, and the beach is not allowed to swim. The gym is clean and provided with towels, too bad they don't have a steam or sauna. And the hotel spa was under adjustment during my stay. But you can book the spa at Banyan Tree. There is an elevator connected to the Banyan Tree (opened in Nov.), you can find more food choice (restaurant, cake, and pastries (although the pastries were sold out in the afternoon).

Old hotel and so bored

An oasis few minutes away from the city.

N/A

The rooms are very nice, the beds are comfortable, and the entire hotel is clea. The breakfast is fantastic. Everything else is mediocre or bad.

The website lists 3 restaurants but two were closed when I stayed, which made it challenging because there is nothing in walkable distance. The only one open was the fancy Asian food place which is ridiculously expensive for the area and the food is awful. They claim to offer room service but the WeChat code doesn’t work. There is a big pool but there are about 10 chairs and they are located in the water, in the shallow part. The beach setting is nice but the water is brown and swimming is not allowed. I had a reservation for 4 nights, but at the check out their records showed that I was supposed to stay 3 more nights and that I arrived the night before my arrival (which is not possible since I was in a different town). However, the bill was correct but they did not provide an invoice since the dates did not match. They don't respond to the chat in the Booking app, but they finally responsed by email and provided the receipt.

My recent stay at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay in their Room with Soaking Pool was impeccable. The room was generously sized, featuring elegant Lingnan-inspired architecture with modern artistic elements that created a perfect blend of traditional charm and contemporary luxury. The Twin beds in our room was comfortable with premium linens, a marble bathroom with separate shower and circular bathtub, dual vanities, private bathroom. The highlight was undoubtedly the private soaking pool located on the patio. The water temperature was adjustible for relaxing soaks both day and night . The interior design reflected a sophisticated island style with hardwood floors, tasteful furniture, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows that embedded the charming sea view into the living space . The attention to detail was evident in the high-quality toiletries, plush bathrobes, and nightly turn-down service that included laid-out pajamas and aromatherapy with essential oils . Nestled at the foot of Phoenix Mountain along Zhuhai's coastline, the resort offers stunning panoramic views of the South China Sea . The property features its own white sand beach, a perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxation. The grounds are beautifully maintained with tropical plants, palm trees, and water features that create a serene oasis. The Lingnan-style architecture blends perfectly with the natural surroundings, creating a sense of harmony and tranquility . The staff at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay truly sets this property apart. From arrival to departure, the service was attentive, personalized, and exceptionally warm. Special Recognition to Staff members like Bruce and Isabella went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Bruce kindly upgraded our room for my birthday and assisted with arrangements for my furkid, while Isabella provided excellent service throughout our family stay . The housekeeping team maintained our room impeccably, with evening turn-down service that included lighting essential oil burners to create a soothing atmosphere . This resort stands out as one of Zhuhai's best accommodation options. I highly recommend it.

La chambre est très grande et belle

Les odeurs de cuisine,on avait demandé une chevêche terrasse et piscine que nous n’avons pas eu et demandé un rdv au spa qui malgré les promesses n’a pas rappelé

no English Speaking Staff whatsoever

Very nice sea view as usual

Restaurant food took very long time and beef was cold and hard. Hotel needs renovation.

I loved everything about this hotel! It was exceptional, rooms were very big and views were amazing. We stayed during a more quiet season, but the hotel staff and amenities were amazing. Highly recommend, one of the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at!!

Fabulous place and unfortunately we had only one night. Big room ,great staff

Had my birthday trip here and had an excellent spa treatment at Angsana Spa. World class treatment and very friendly staff. The staff were very attentive and explained well, despite the difficulty to converse in English. Worth the money and time. Definitely would go again.

Good location, away from the hustle & bustle. Good value for money.

There are a couple of sea beaches but virtually zero facilities, which was very disappointing. The staff don’t speak English, barring one. This made communication channelling. The rooms don’t really have sea view, particularly those with a small pool inside. It shouldn’t be sold as having a sea view. While some of the staff were kind and nice, some just weren’t. Completely oblivious of guests needs and borderline arrogant. Won’t visit again but was okay for a single trip.

It has a stunning environment, perfectly designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. It features a private beach where guests can enjoy leisurely walk by the water's edge. There are tropical gardens surround the property and the hotel offers a peaceful retreat that feels like a hidden paradise.

We are disappointed regarding our recent stay at the hotel. We were looking forward to the welcome fruit arrangement that was promised, but unfortunately, it was not provided even when we left the hotel. Furthermore, we have asked to arrange at a non-smoking floor. But the bedding is full of smells of cigarettes.

Good Thai food, very nice staff and support, Beautiful view.

Overall experience is great, I can enjoy my leisure time in here, my daughter really enjoy it and saying she would like to come again. My wife also say she enjoy the spa in here. Thanks all the staff, all are handy indeed. Basically you are not necessary to plan the trip, it is genuinely hassle free as you can enjoy ur food, and have a great sleep in here.

It's a nice trip for me to here twice! A nice beautiful sea view, 270 degrees sea view bar shardow and restaurtant. Big beach for activity and many kids stay there. The lawn was very suitable for dinner or other activity also. Next time will try to have destination dinner at there.

Everything but Dinning

Dinning experience was bad, went to the South Asian Restaurant there, and most dish on the manual are unavailable.

Every hotel staff member is very enthusiastic, making people feel very comfortable, and the environment is also great. The most important thing is cleanliness and hygiene! Staying at this hotel at this price is truly a great value! I will definitely come back next time I have the chance

The whole resort is beautiful.

Leaving.

My experience in 2 nights here was not really good and satisfied. We checked in without any welcome drink. The receptionist couldn't speak English although this is a 5-star resort. If you can't speak Chinese, you may feel like me. We booked the room with a small outside bathtub, but the bathtub was not clean after I checked in. I asked why they didn't clean, they said verbally that they would clean when the guest requested to use it. It's nonsense when I booked this room because of this special pool. And the water for it wasn't hot enough to enjoy for more than 15 minutes. You must consider if you expect this like a hot spring bath. We asked for a wine opener and we had to wait for more than 30 minutes. Every time I called to ask, they all said on the way. This 5-star resort cannot be compared to the others because of its low standards. I won't return for sure.

The environment, room, pool and breakfast.

the Thai restaurant on the 5th floor, very bad, a shame for the quality of the hotel.

Spacious room with patio, the thai restaurant

Jacuzzi in pool not working, dirty beach, no beach chairs, no information at all about the hotel facilities at arrival

Yuezhuang Hotel has a beautiful bay, first-class landscaping, and very relaxing room decoration. I have stayed in many hotels in Zhuhai, and this one should be one of the best in terms of software and hardware. The only drawback is that the service attitude of the front desk staff and telephone customer service staff is very mechanical. All answers are standardized, and there is no enthusiasm for solving problems for you. For example, I am a platinum member of AccorHotels and I asked for a late check-out. Before I could finish my words, she responded quickly. Because the room was tight tomorrow, we could only check out at 2 o'clock. I wanted to communicate with her if she could postpone it a little longer, but she directly She said that it has been arranged for you until two o'clock, but she didn't even check the computer to see if it could meet the member's request. I would like to express that although the package booked on the hotel’s official website is more favorable in terms of price and additional benefits, I still book a room on Accor’s official website as a member because I hope to reflect the benefits of being a member. However, in terms of membership benefits, I think the hotel still needs to improve. This is a very good resort hotel in Zhuhai. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the service is very good. We still highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again if we have time in the future.

The hotel has a prime location with free parking and charging stations, making it perfect for self driving tours. The restaurant has a beautiful landscape and delicious food. Having excellent facilities and outstanding services. Everything is pleasant

waiting too long to get the room even check in at 3:00; water pressure of shower too weak

The hotel is very nice and the scenery is similar to that of foreign countries. The only difference is that the air is a bit humid, which is a characteristic of Guangdong. The breakfast options are very diverse, but the restaurant is a bit warm. It's very comfortable to sit in the bar at night. Bess at the bar is great and recommended us some drinks with good value for money.

A paradise far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We spent a weekend here on a business trip. We wanted nothing better for ourselves. Responsive staff. They improved our room category free of charge for humanistic reasons, for which I will always be grateful. Dinner was incredible!

It would be possible to make the sea more blue, but it's good as it is.

Facilities. Room design

Food.

Very friendly staff with great service, they have private beach and big lawn, the bar is amazing in Zhuhai. The outdoor swimming pool is big and clean, many activities in a day. My kids like it so much, we would like to recommend it to my friends and come back to stay for sure.

The hotel front desk service is warm and thoughtful, and the problems raised can be solved attentively. No noise felt near the hotel. The overall environment is warm and quiet, and the room is clean and tidy. I will choose it next time。。。。。。。

Nothing

Everything

Beautiful sea view

The gym/spa facility is not conveniently located. It has to pass through the corridor with guests room along before reaching those facilities Restaurant choices are very limited with only Thai restaurant and buffet No Chinese restaurant

Absolutely stunning ! The buffet breakfast kept you coming back for more with food from all cultures . The resort was beautiful , lush , killer view across the bay , the staff were next level . Their service amazing . Love the attention to detail in the rooms with choice of pillow , aromas, room service etc . I had an amazing massage in the beautiful Day Spa .

The only thing we could fault is currently there is a major addition being added in to the resort so some loud building noises but that will be a temporary issue .

The room is spacious and clean.

There are only two restaurants. The food served in the "Rice Bowl" at the 5th floor is good but those served in the 1st Floor cafe was very poor. I ordered a bowl of lobster laksa noodle and the quality was so bad that I refused to go there for any more meals. I had to look for restaurants outside because I didn't want to dine in the same restaurant at the 5th Floor for all 4 days.

It’s a beautiful hotel with attentive staff. Have a great view of the opera house

Lots of construction still going on at the peninsula which ruined the ambiance a bit

The front desk service was very good. I called in advance and wanted a room with a beautiful view. I tried to arrange it as much as possible, but I also managed to find a good room. When I returned to the room at night, I also had a good atmosphere by turning on the bed. I really like it

The decorations inside hotel was really beautiful and delicate. Services with little details were in all places. The room view was insanely great, I could see the glowing shells on the balcony at night. I’d love to say it's really comfortable place to live.

We had our honeymoon spending here with the package and everything were perfect! The room was beyond our expectation and well designed with in room pool plus a huge bath tub. Decorations were so delicate, even in the washroom. You wouldn't want to go outside~

The hotel has convenient transportation with the superb location. There is a beach, after dinner we walked along the beach on a late afternoon with the magnificent view of the sunset. The room is very good and comfortable, the staff are very nice.

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and it is a wonderful hotel, the food is incredible, the service is impeccable and the personalized attention is at every moment. I would like to recognize some people who made this trip incredible, the chefs Allen, Jason and Hogo, the hotel Manager Robin, as well as GM Billy, is undoubtedly a great product that will meet your expectations.

Nicely decorated and maintained.

A bit remote from restaurants.

It was whole family weekend travel. There were not many people this weekend. The rooms were quite spacious and also very comfortable. As for breakfast, there were not many types, but all well cook and we were satisfied with it.

Staying with friends, the experience is very good, the hotel facilities and services are at high level. The lobby in the hotel is the perfect viewing location, the sunrise and sunset can be seen, and there were resident singers in the evening, the atmosphere was fantastic!

A short vacation with my girlfriend, it's a comfortable hotel, not far away from downtown, there were not many people to stay, the outdoor bar singing pretty cool, very good for vacation and leisure, would love to visit again)

The view of the hotel is insanely beautiful, the sunrise in the morning is just splendid. There was a litte concert in the lobby bar at night, pretty nice vocals. The hotel also has its private beach, and we were offered some children beach toys, THUMBS UP!

The view from the room and the swimming pool.

There is no place for a quick bite outside the normal meal hours. No shuttle bus to nearby sites.

all was excellent

nothing

clean on the beach and romantic

Breakfast was excellent, staff were great! The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable!

We booked a Concept Suite that should have had a hot tub but did not. We swapped rooms to a Canal King.

很好的风景，酒店设施，早餐非常不错。

酒店非常好。就是服务没有跟上。

非常享受這次住這間洒店的經驗。地點頗偏，但這也突顕不被騷擾。早餐也很美味和多元化

Relaxed and tranquil stay. Quite far away from center of all attractions though.
