Richmond Hotel Yokohama Ekimae

Loved the area amazing hotel!

Amazing staff. Room was clean. Had a wonderful stay here.

Shopping / Food options wxcellent. Easy access to public transport as the hotel is 3 mins from atation.

The room was enough space for the foreigners, super clean bathroom and restroom. Nice location and convenience to move around.

Everything was fine except the smokey smell

Great

Very convenient hotel like close to everything

I highly recommend the Richmond Hotel. Lots of dining options within walking distance, the station is less than 5min away, and the rooms were very nice and reasonably priced.

Great value. Very clean and so close to Yokohama Station.

I liked all the dining options and around the area

The hotel is close to everything!!! shopping malls, restaurants, convenient stores and drug stores are all within walking distance. I love Yokohama, such a beautiful city

Great location: four-minute walk from Northwest Exit of Yokohama Station. Nice shower and bath area. The dryer function of the washing machine needs to be improved.

Great location next to train station. Good food options surrounding the property. Close to the no airport.

I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a short stay and wanted the convenience of being within short walking distance to the Yokohama Station. There’s a big drug store below the hotel and plenty of other shops and restaurants nearby.

Excellent location and excellent room .

Near the station, clean and comfortable

Lively area not far from the station. Room facing the street was quiet though. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Bathroom was great. After 11 nights, the only thing I noticed was a slight lingering smell in the room, kind of like a wet dog. Not a dealbreaker. Would stay again.

Best hotel

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located near the train station. Breakfast option at the Royal Host Restaurant connected to the hotel.

perfect hotel

-

Very conveniently located close to Yokohama Station and the various shopping centres surrounding it. The market below the hotel as well as the Family Mart across the street are also a plus. The room was nice and clean, and the staff were also super helpful with any requests, such as sending luggage to my next destination!

I like a location and friendly stuff. I will stay again this hotel.

Beautiful room, very comfortable and clean. Service is wonderful and the location is perfectly placed in the middle of it all just down from Yokohama Station. Check-in was easy and I was in my room in less than 10 minutes after I walked through the door. Amenities are fabulous: they have everything you’d need besides your clothes. I’ll definitely be staying again when I’m back in Yokohama this summer.

Service was great

Good location

Great location, clean and friendly staff

Very clean and affordable.

Very close to the station and the shopping center. The bed was comfortable.

Dirty and noisy

Room is good except WiFi which keeps dropping. Breakfast is average.

Very near 5mins walk to Yokohama station metro exit and from there u can travel to many places via JR or local train. Also very walkable to many major shopping malls. Breakfast spread was decent and coffee was amongst the best as compared to other hotels we stayed in during this trip

👍

Location of hotel is amazing, jus 2 min walk from N.west exit of Yokohama station. Check in was smooth and the check out was using self-service kiosk. Room has all the basic amenities and size is just right for family of four. Toiltries and tea bags available at lobby. Definity will comw back again

Very convenient location, 10min walk from yokohama station. Room suitable for family

Nice larger rooms than your usual small ones in the city with easy walking distance to Yokohama Station with plenty of options for food and shopping.

Yes

The hotel’s condition and service were excellent. The only draw back is the surrounding with too many young and not so safe looking individuals after dark.

Hotel is located within walkable distance from station. Lots of dining spots. Hotel is clean and staffs are friendly

Room is clean and comfortable.

よかった。再利用あり🎫

We loved our room size perfect for couple, cleanliness, walking distance to shopping, dining, train station.

Perfect Location

It is so close to shopping center and night life area.

Great location.

サービス良し、立地よし、綺麗、新しい。

Wonderful staff and very comfortable rooms! Would stay here again!

The location is ver convenient if you want to stay near the station. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and had plenty of amenities.

This might have been the most satisfactory hotel on our trip. The room was still Japan-small but at least large enough to open a suitcase, the A/C worked extremely well, and it was quiet. It's an easy walk from the station and there's lots of eating/shopping nearby.

This hotel is good location that is near Yokohama station . There is convinience store front of this hotel. And

Very convenient. Kids under 12 stayed free… Booked a family room.

I like bath and toilet are separated.

Perfect stay and very near the station. clean and quiet. We will surely book again

Convenience, few mins walk from the station. Surround by shopping area.

All good

Great prices

部屋が広くて使い勝手がすごく良い又値段も凄くリズナぶる

A business hotel about 5 mins away from one of the Yokohama Station exits. Interestingly you enter and take the elevator up to the lobby. We got a three twin bed room for a family of four, including two children ages 7 and 5. Even being a typical Japanese business room we felt it was a nice size. The bathroom area is separate and includes a traditional Japanese bath of a sit down wash and tub combo and toilet being in a separate room. Nice amenities including tea, coffee, and hygiene items. There were washing machines in case you need to do them with statuses you can check from the TV. A discounted breakfast brunch at the restaurant next door, including a cheaper rate for children was nice. And lots of options to eat in the area and shop too being close to a major train station. All in all, a great place that I would recommend if you want to stay near the station.

Convenient and nice

This property was conveniently located next to the Yokohama train station and several malls. There were many places to eat nearby and easily accessible. Our hotel room was very clean and tidy. The room was a little small and sometimes difficult to maneuver around with our luggage, but it was manageable.

First off, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The hotel was built in 2018, but it definitely seemed to be a fairly new hotel. It was well kept to say the least. The room size was great for 2 adults and 1 kid. It has a large bathroom, which is easier with the kid. It is somewhat near the Yokohama station. It took a little explore to walk from the station as there was some road work around the area that we hesitate to cross with the luggage. After that, we can find everything nearby easily. We felt very welcomed when we checked-in. There was even a little pack of kids vanity including kid slippers, brush, and etc. Lot of local restaurant, grocery store, and other amenities nearby. They even offered umbrella for free for the rainiest day. It was an excellent stay.

The room is clean, the staffs are very nice, and there are lots of restaurants nearby.

The Richmond Hotel is so conveniently located close to the Yokohama Station. The staff were so kind, and the check-in, check-out process were very easy and fast. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice, clean hotel, the little amenities are very good, nice cushy slippers and decent toothpaste.

Everything was excellent.

First time here. The hotels I usually get here sold out. Didn’t know this was here. Good lil spot, nice and new and the staff was helpful. If my spots are sold out again I know exactly where to go. Thank you.

I suppose this hotel is good.

I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again if I visit Yokohama. The bed was comfortable and the room layout was great. The staff for the hotel and breakfast was very kind.

Great service and excellent staff, very helpful and happy to help. When we needed a dentist for an emergency, they called around for an available, and got us a taxi to take us to the dentist.

Perfect! It is so nice and clean. Will stay again.

Good hotel for the cost. Staff didn't speak much English, but enough to get by. Good value.

It’s ok.

Great location and the hotel is nice. But they made me come down to the front desk to get an extra towel. It was around 11:00pm at night.

This is where I stay when visiting Tokyo, period. It is so perfect and the convenience of being half-a-block from the Yokohama station is worth an extra few minutes on a train to get here. The station and immediate surroundings for shopping and food are a treat in every way.

Location is good, just a few minutes walk from Yokohama Station. Many eateries and convenience stores around. Hotel staff are polite and helpful. We arrived early and was unable to check-in yet. When we returned later to check-in our room was ready and our luggages all transported right up to our room.

The hotel is right in the middle of a thriving food / shopping area and quite close to the train station. I was NEVER bored !

Excellent service from staff. Multiple dining options available nearby. Walking distance to the train station.

Relatively well situated.

Excellent location and great food. Very nice staff.

Excellent

Near the train station

Great place

Hotel staff is great. Room is in great condition and very clean. Convenient location as well.

How many times do you have to check in if you book few consecutive nights. The answer from Richmond Hotel was once daily!! I booked a late 9pm check in room but arrived early. I'm asked to pay 1000yen per day to check in earlier. If I didn't pay, I have to check out at 11am and check in again at 9pm everyday. I'm shocked. I'm a business traveller and haven't heard of such policy in anywhere on earth. I reconfirmed with the front desk staff and she said "Yes, check in and check out again everyday". I did rise my voice and said "It is ridiculous! I can pay but I don't think I will choice your hotel again". Suddenly, another staff jumped in and said, "If you are not happy, go to other hotels". Second shock!! I'm asked by a Richmond Hotel's staff to leave the hotel. Later I found out she's the Front Desk Manager named Ilina, a Caucasian face. During Corona Viral outbreak, how could a single woman leave and go to other hotel! I'm a Chinese, I suspected she discriminated me and wanted to kick me out from her hotel. An extremely bad experience!!

Perfect location! Very clean , complete room amenities! I also love the room layout where toilet and bathroom are separated.

The location is good, receptions are nice, clean room.

This was an excellent hotel for a business trip, only a short walk from Yokohama Station. It was very quiet and spacious.

Near to station, malls and restaurant. Hassle free check in/out. Clean room and sufficient amenities. Low price, high value.

Room and hotel overall were in exceptional condition. Front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. Great part of the city from which it was easy to shop, find restaurants and use public transit.

Very convenient from the NW Exit of Yokohama Station (0.3 miles). Also many restaurants nearby. Great rooms with all the amenities.

Great location - right next to Yokohama Station. Convenient.

pros: close to the JR station, convenience store & drugs store

Hotel is excellent for what it is but doesn’t have a few non basic amenities such as gym/pool and it’s own evening restaurant. But, major plus points are a superb (extremely central) location, very helpful and friendly staff, and clean, modern and tidy decor.

Clean spacious convenient and quiet. Highly recommend

Surprised this hotel still offers smoking rooms! There are no extra facilities like a gym or pool the lobby is small and no relaxation areas. The none smoking rooms were good standard

All the staff were courteos and I really had a good time. The place is close to the train station/s and very near to a convenience store and drinking/eating places.

Excellent location, friendly & helpful staff, very good breakfast.

Nice rooms good location

It was a very clean and well kept hotel. The property of located within a 6 minute walk to Yokohama Station.

Check in isnin a different terminal from my international flight. It required a 10 minute+!walk to get to my terminal and another 8 to get to my gate.
