Great location, we managed to catch the Cultural Festival unexpectedly, easy for a wide range of food options. Friendly reception staff, comfy beds and good views out to the sea. Good value, kettle and drinking water provided and clean room.

The location. Its at the center of the city. Have a lot of restaurant nearby.

Nothing much to say. The price point are within the expectations.

The location is great, nearby to local eateries, mini market, walking distance to night market Jalan Chester and Pasar Tanjung Tawau. The bed also comfy, aircond also very cold.

The toilet abit dirty and smelly.

Le lit est confortable, propre, la serviette aussi. Le personnel est attentif et sympa.

L'odeur de cigarette dans la chambre. La 1ere chambre sentait trop fort, j’ai pu changer, la 2eme ça allait au début puis l'odeur est arrivée, le personnel a mis du désodorisant mais c’est revenu. Apres avoir chercher l'odeur qui etait dans la chambre mais aussi dans l'ascenseur, je pense que cela vient de la climatisation qui devrait etre fortement nettoyer car l’air qui etait envoyer sentait la cigarette /mauvais et cela s'imprègne sur les murs. Le lendemain mon haut de pyjama sentait mauvais et j’avais mal à la tête. Le sol de la salle de bain n'était pas complètement propre, il ya avait plusieurs cheveux ainsi que dans le bac de souche bien en évidence avec des tâches. Pour le prix de la nuit, un gros nettoyage des clims serait a faire.

Customer service with a smile and kind.

Evidences of super low maintenance are on plain eye sight (see attached pictures). In my I nights stay I killed 2 mosquitos and 2 baby cockroaches. And I’m on level-5!

I like the area . Near to any local restaurant

The sink in Room 801 is clogged, and the water is draining very slowly. This makes it difficult to wash hands and brush teeth. Could you please arrange for it to be checked and repaired? Thank you.

L'hôtel est en plein centre-ville c'était vraiment très pratique. Le personnel était gentil. La chambre que nous avons pris était propre, avec une salle de bain parfaite. Il y avait également des tasses, avec du café en sachet. Les lits sont confortables et les draps sont propres. Il y a également une télévision.

Nice budget hotel. It's very well located, all important facilities are nearby and staff is friendly.

Hotel and room clean, but AC should clean up also. Oldish. mosque and noise from street can be hear very well in the room.

Location of the hotel is excellent. It is close to restaurants and eateries. I stayed for one night for Tawau Marathon and on Saturday, just a walking distance to the Jalan Chester Pasar Malam and the next day morning after completing the run, had the experience for Tamu Ahad Sabindo. The reception (I don't remember his name) was really nice as he helped me to find an info on the shuttle bus that was provided for the Tawau Marathon. Overall, good experience for 1 night at Check Inn Hotel.

The room has no window (and during the booking, I selected no window room - as it was cheaper. No one to be blame :) ).

No breakfast included in the room package but restaurants are just a walking distance..

Hotel très bien situé. Le confort est apprécié surtout après avoir passé des jours en excursion dans le parc Tawau Hills. La literie est de qualité. La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement.

Definitely not OKU friendly at all. They write on apps accessible hotel but to go to the room, have stairs before lift. As wheelchair user, it is unacceptable for OKU people.

It's very reasonably priced and located in good location with nearby eateries/7-11/general goods store.

There was cigarette smell everywhere eventhough they have non-smoking floors, especially the lift. The rooms did not feel clean - toilet had cockroach in the shower, bedsheets have weird stains and worst was my pillow had a wet/sweaty smell that was just really hard to sleep through.

Located at the heart of business centre. Easy to go around.

I slept there for a night, happens to kill 5 cockroaches in my room. Wouldn’t go there again.

The property is in a great location however it’s budget and don’t expect anything different. I felt a little unsafe, but as westerners we stood out anywhere in town. The service was hit or miss depending who was on the door. Otherwise for a quick stay it was what we needed. I would have liked a fridge

Good location, good staff

Good position. Clean room and nice bathroom. Hot shower. The staff were nice even if, at the end, they couldn’t help with our issue.

After 2 weeks between jungle and islands we booked this property especially because of the reviews about a very good WiFi. We needed it for some work that came up unexpectedly. Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work at all in our floor and nobody was able to help with a solution

Apart from the friendly staff during check-in, other staff at other times were always too busy to even extend greetings when other visitors entered the main entrance

the location is near to everything in town! night market just behind the hotel & pasar tamu just across the street.

It was clean enough, the evening staff was friendly and helpful, the only downside was my door lock got problems but they immediately changed me to another room. I booked the room with no window. It was OK for 1 night's sleep, but I could not stand inside too long as it was a bit small, and I got a little claustrophobic. The price on the website does not include the tax, so in the end, I found it a bit expensive for what it was.
