South Point Guest Lodge

I had a team of 3 attending an expo, staying in different rooms. All 3 scored 10 out of 10, saying they could not fault this facility in any way.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. So central and walking distance to top attractions. Very comfortable place to stay in.

Spotless, stylish, comfy and many thoughtful inclusions make this a quite lovely place to stay. Parking and ground floor access, easy walk to nearby restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Quiet, convenient, a welcoming host in a welcoming little town. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Wir hatten am Abend ab 21 Uhr leider Stromausfall und auch das Internet war tot. Gott sei Dank hat das Notlicht funktioniert.

Ein sehr schönes Appartement im englischen Cottagestyle. Viele kleine bezaubernde Sitzecken Wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Sehr freundliche Eigentümerin die um unser Wohlergehen sehr bedacht war.

Sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Die Wohnung war gut zu erreichen und hatte einen Parkplatz und alles was man sonst brauchte. Restaurant und Bar gleich neben dran.

Das Auto wurde direkt vor der Eingangstür an der Strasse geparkt. Ein wenig Motel-Feeling. Und das Bett war etwas schmal. Aber für eine Nacht war es durchaus ok.

Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt. Man merkt sofort, dass alles topp in Schuss gehalten wird. Ich kenne die Anlage bereits mehrere Jahre, trotzdem sieht alles wie neu aus. Die Betreiberin ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und charmante Frau. Es ist sehr ruhig dort. In der Wohnung haben wir alles vorgefunden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Gastgeberin hat es an nichts fehlen lassen. Hierher komme ich bestimmt wieder.

Comfortable accommodation within walking distance of good restaurants, local markets, and the lighthouse. The owner came by to check if everything was okay and shared some helpful tips.

the cushions on the sofa are insufficient for older people

The fact that we had an "unrequested" towel change on the first day of our stay - it felt uncomfortable having someone (the host) in our space without checking first if we needed fresh towels. It felt a tad invasive.

Close to restaurants like Gavins Trattoria! Safe and nice walks around the area. Tidal pools nice to have!

No aircon but we had enough wind so did not bother us even in the heat of the day.

We booked this on the day when plans had to change, and were so glad we did! Cape Agulhas is a lovely place, so geographically significant, and South Point was the perfect place to enjoy it from! Beverley greeted us very warmly and you could tell she took a real pride in ensuring that the property was optimally presented. She showed us to an immaculately clean apartment; small but perfectly formed! The outdoor area was an absolute bonus for us to reorganise our packing. We met the owner, Hilary, in her laundry business next door, and what a wonderful lady she was! We really enjoyed hearing the story of her her life in South Africa. She also gave us a great advice on where to have dinner, and how to see the best of the local attractions (the atmospheric lighthouse and beautiful coastline). Highly recommended!

Location, location, location! Walking distance to the lighthouse, restaurants, food shop, ocean, tidal pool and the southernmost point of Africa. There is good parking in front of the house. A nice garden. Clean apartment with almost everything you need for a short stay,

There was no braai-facility for the unit we stayed in.

We loved the location. It was super clean, which we really loved. The place had every little thing we needed. A laundry right on the doorstep. Shops and restaurants close by. This was our second time visiting, and we will definitely be back. It was a lovely stay.

No TV in bedroom but everything was perfect.

The host was friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, nice furniture and offered a view to die for 10 out of 10

Everything we needed in a lovely location. The host and staff were very friendly and had some great advice.

Perfect location for visiting Cape Agulis. Within easy walking distance of where the two oceans meet. Close to restaurants, bars and minimart.

Lovely room and equally lovely Hillary there to welcome us .

We liked everything about the location. We had a nice welcome by our host. The guesthouse was clean and nicely decorated. It’s close to everything, to the beach and the restaurants. We could park the car right in front of the accommodation on a safe spot. I would stay there again, if I would come back to travel in South Africa.

Beautifully appointed apartment really close to the lighthouse. We had a very good one night stay. So comfortable, spacious and homely we could live there.

The Guest Lodge is situated in a very quiet and peaceful location in L’Aguhlas. Within walking distance to the famous lighthouse and the southernmost point of Africa. Thanks to the host, the self-check-in / check-out was very smooth. And we got prompt help from the owner when we didn't figure out how to put electricity on. The rooms were very clean and had all the necessary conveniences. Strongly recommended to anyone who wishes to make a stop in L’Agulhas.

This is an amazing apartment, beautifully decorated and has everything you could need for your stay. Hilary is a fantastic host, full of information and always at hand. The location is perfect for accessing the point, the lighthouse, local shops and restaurants (within walking distance). I can’t recommend South Point highly enough.

Everything was beyond expectation.

Cozy apartment, clean and very light (but very small). Close to the touristic attractions. Good WiFi. Comfortable beds. The supermarket and a couple of restaurants are 50-100 meters away. Safe little town, we parked just outside in front of the building

The host does not always answer to the messages on the website of Booking.com There is a step in the kitchen, which must be clearly indicated. As it was not done, my elderly farther fell down. At this moment, the host was in the kitchen and did not warn about the step

South Point 59 is the place to visit in L'Agulhas if you need a break. Hilary is an exceptional hostess and the apartment was great. The furniture and decor created such a tranquil atmosphere. Really a home away from home. I will Definitely go there again in future.

I loved everything

Lovely bright self catering units, which had everything we needed and a great location.

The units are a bit small for a longer stay, but for the price you’re paying it’s very good value.

At the centre if the village and close to the shops and restaurants. exceptionally clean and well equipped
