The location for us was excellent. Nice selection of toiletries. Bedding and towels good quality.

The room extremely cramped. Beds wedged up to the wall so banged elbows couple of times. They were uncomfortably hard.

Room was slightly cramped for three of us but we arrived in the evening and left in the morning so wasn’t a problem.

I didn’t like that when my wife asked for sourdough toast for breakfast we weren’t told that on top of the £4.25 for toast and jam we had to pay an additional sum of £3.00 for sourdough which we weren’t told at the time of ordering so if cost a total of ££7.25 for 2 slices of sourdough toast, what a rip off.

The room we had for one night smelt damp there was alot of mould round the shower which could have easily been cleaned, there was a damp patch on the ceiling, the window was an internal window that didnt open, so this room never got any fresh air at all, we left after one hour as all we could smell was the damp, now waiting a refund, the room was very small.

Very convenient location. The hotel is always very well-maintained and very comfortable . Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel manager is always a super friendly and helpful personality who goes over and above board to make sure that everything is comfortable. The restaurant always has a great evening meal & carvery.

Pillows and mattress were very firm resulting in a poor night's sleep. Staff in Restaurant on the evening were vert curt and bar staff seemed to favour regulars.

Convenient location next to A11. Have stayed quite a few times before. Good to have restaurant, cafe and outside areas. Person on reception was lovely when I checked in. Air conditioning. Opening window.

Room was small - that's ok as you know the size when booking. I travel a lot so do have a comparison! And this hotel is not updating or upgrading. All a bit tired. Cobwebs and spiders in the top corner above the wardrobe. In a small room why use a large heavy chair at the desk/dresser AND add another armchair taking up space and blocking the wardrobe? Save the floor space! So there is room for bags. A stool at the dresser would be fine. Bed is comfortable but the pillows are terrible - all four very hard and lumpy. Other travellers have also complained about this. No bedside lamp, instead there is an old fashioned radio taking up space. No iron. No water provided. Disappointed and checked out early. When I handed in key and checked out I was not asked 'how was your stay?'

Room was comfortable with added benefit of aircon. Nice décor throughout the building and room. The shower was lovely and big and bathroom lighting good. Towels were changed daily as required. The restaurant was comfortable with friendly staff and carvery was very tasty. Overall lovely stay and would recommend. Location close to Dog Trust rehoming centre

We arrived late in the evening, yet the reception staff were very efficient in booking us in, even offering us late seating for dinner in the restaurant. The team in the restaurant were friendly and attentive, both for our late meal and breakfast, serving quality food. Good selection of vegetarian option were on the menu. Our booked premium double room was, well appointed and clean with all the facilities. The air conditioning had been left on before our arrival which was a welcome touch, on one of the hottest days this summer. Large walking-in high pressure shower, with good temperature controls was ideal for us. Spacious car parking facility was noteworthy too.

Bed was too hard for me. Shower needed a hand held one. Drencher was difficult to Operate heat control without getting wet which could have led to getting burnt as nowhere to stand out of the way whilst checking the temperature of the water.

The Superior Triple Room was clean, comfortable and a good size with comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Our room was on the ground floor and felt a little too dark due to the small windows.

Location really good for Attleborough where my daughter lives and just off the duel carriage way. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy and nice touches with things like the bottles of water.

The shower cubicle in the single room is very small with such a big fixed shower head. When you get in the shower and switch it on you almost get cold water shock syndrome as there is no way of not having the cold water from covering you until it heats up. Good job I don't have a heart condition 😅.

Nice location on main A14 to Norwich link road. Staff were friendly and room was good size and comfortable.

Although staying there, was rushed to buy a drink at 11pm and then bar closed. Main dislike was not having an electric charger and being told Norwich was probably the closest.

The place was spotless, lovely decor, very pleasant staff. Beds very comfortable, room very quiet and Air Conditioning priceless!

The Pillows could be improved. Other Guests could be asked to go to their Rooms quietly rather than standing talking and laughing outside other Rooms at nearly Midnight!

It was a good location with good parking. The food was well cooked and we especially liked that the breakfast was cooked to order.

The only window in our room looked out directly onto to thehallway rather than an outside view. We therefore had to keep the blinds down otherwise it would have been like being in an episode of Gogglebox.

The Carvery dinner was lovely and very good value.

The small was quite small. Moving around wasn't the easiest.

Was another great stay, staff were very helpful as always, food was great and the rooms very clean and tidy as always, Have not tried their breakfast but should imagine that would be great. Has got a great spacious carpark for me to park my trailor so ideal location.

Staff were professional and helpful. Cleaning of room was excellent. Food was a good selection and service was good. Outdoor tables lovely for an evening glass of wine. I was here for Peter Beales’ rose festival weekend, so location was excellent for that, but would have been good anyway - far enough from A11 to avoid road noise but close enough for almost instant access.

No usb ports but I travel with my own plugs and there were plenty of outlets in sensible locations. Shower head had fierce pressure so water was unavoidable even when not warm yet. I would have liked somewhere in the shower to put soap and shampoo bottles higher than ground level. I prefer an openable window and silence to humming air conditioning overnight (“heatwave” that week). These are minor quibbles. This was the nicest hotel of 6 on my 3 week trip.

Some areas require a little TLC some areas just quick fixes with simple maintenance. The cleanliness of the room could have been better. There were several hairs in the bathroom and a lot of limescale build up. Required attention to detail with the cleanliness, if that happened then it would be a great place. Had a great shower really powerful but again would have liked that to have been cleaned more thoroughly and there was limescale build up and not sure what it was but a black substance built up at bottom of shower door. Needed a spring clean. Offering this feedback purely to help improving as it would then be the perfect place. All being said enjoyed the bistro breakfast and breakfast menu was great! Thank you

Helpfulness of reception staff.

Room: very small; bathroom no light over mirror. Breakfast: Why not a Breakfast buffet. Choices had to be made to the waiter from a rigid list; the result was a lot of waste food because to have ones preferences meant choosing items which were individually too large. Also time taken waiting for order to be prepared and delivered was excessive. When seperate items (eg cereal and scrambled eggs were ordered, they were delivered at the same time: the scrambled eggs had to be returned to keep warm while consuming the cereal.

We were allocated a disabled room which we were not previously made aware of. It was small and uncomfortable and the bathroom was not acceptable to a none disabled couple.

The cleaning crew was so nice and gave our son some cute little ducks. They also played along on our towel animal foldings which was so fun for us all and especially for our son
