Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Het bed was oke

Reviewed Apr 27, 2024The place is nice, clean and cosy, the host is very nice and thoughtful (great breakfast). Easy parking.
We couldn’t agree with the host on a moment to use the (obviously very appealing) spa area. There was only one or two possible time slots over 2 days, totally impossible to combine with excursions in the area. It is probably great if your purpose is to stay in and use the spa facilities, but not so much if you plan to use the location as a base for moving in the area.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2023Breakfast very nice. Location - uninteresting.
We arrived expecting a swim and only then were told it would cost an extra £150! On seeing I walk with a stick we were moved from a garden shed with a wide water bed to another garden shed/room with a smaller double bed - clean but small and uninspiring. The toilet was small. We were not offered a discount for the smaller room or lack of facilities.
