Lamaraz Hotels

My stay at Lamaraz Hotel was not at all what I had expected. The reception staff made me feel as if I were at a police or inspection centre, asking strange and uncomfortable questions, including whether I was sure that I had booked a room at the hotel. In addition, we experienced several issues with the shower due to water disconnections and blockage. However, the only positive aspect of my stay was the restaurant staff, who were very friendly, polite, and treated my daughter and me with great respect and kindness.

Nous sommes venus pour un séjour affaires, nous avons réservé deux chambres à l’hôtel Lamaraz. Dès le check in nous avons eu des propos mal placés et des accusations infondées avec un ton irrespectueux de la part du personnel. Ils nous ont interdit tout contact avec un ton menaçant. Sachez monsieurs, madame que nous sommes venus pour du travail pas pour autre chose, comment osez vous juger des clients, sachant que nous sommes des personnes respectueuses ! Je n'ai jamais eu une expérience pareil dans un hotel, je suis médecin je n'ai jamais confronté ce genre de situation, c'est honteux, J’ai préféré quitter l’hôtel sans y passer la nuit, j'ai changé d'hôtel malgré que ma chambre était payée, honte à vous.

Super séjour ! Tout le personnel était accueillant et serviable, que ce soit au niveau de l’accueil ou du restaurant. Le ménage était fait tous les jours. Les chambres étaient propres et modernes. Le petit déjeuner etait varié et de bonne qualité. Je recommande +++

Super hôtel une équipe très professionnelle, bienveillante, ils sont vraiment à la hauteur pour les clients, c'est un très belle hôtel . Le restaurant est très bien avec en plus une belle vue les serveurs sont d'une extrême gentillesse c'est un hôtel que je reprendrai sans hésitation. Merci à toute l'équipe pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.

Le professionnalisme, le petit dej, tout

Check-in mentionné à 14h sur Hotels.com, arrivé sur place la réception nous indique une erreur et que le check in est a 15h et nous avons eu donc la chambre à 15h30. L'organisation et le personnel du ménage très désagréable par contre le personnel du restaurant au petit dejeuner trés agréable.

Chambre spacieuse avec une vue magnifique sur la Méditerranée. Les équipements sont impeccables, la literie est parfaite et le restaurant de l'hôtel est ouvert 24/7 (très pratique pour les agendas complexes). J'avais besoin d'un équipement en extrait pour mon travail et le Directeur Technique de l'hôtel m'a résolu cette inquiétude en moins de 10mns. Rien à redire ! Je recommande !

La qualité de la connexion internet.

Le personnel d’accueil et du restaurant est très sympathique la chambre était très fonctionnelle et nous avons passé un séjour fort agréable.

Le ménage: L’agent de ménage travaille de façon superficielle. Ne remplacait pas les tasses bien que voyons les sachets de thés utilisés dedans. Le lit peut être bien dressé.

La propreté de la chambre, les équipements, le personnel chaleureux de l’hôtel du bagagiste, a réceptionniste au équipes du restaurant. La nourriture aussi était très bonne (dîner et petit déjeuner)

Vu extérieur de la chambre occulté par un immeuble en face. Parfois beaucoup attente au petit déjeuner pour les crêpes et omelette Buffet dîner le soir très cher Pas eu de réponse à mon message avant arrivée pour early Check in et difficile à joindre Vitres au restaurant panoramique, pas visible sur photo du site, qui gâche un peu la vue.

Personnel de l’accueil parfois un peu froid contrairement au personnel du restaurant qui a été aux petits soins

Tout était au top niveau. L'hospitalité du personnel, la literie très confortable, la propreté, la qualité du petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix que ce soit pour le côté sucré ou salé. Hôtel à proximité du métro station Amirouche. Vous pouvez laisser votre véhicule au garage de l'hôtel et faire vos visites à pied et transports en commun. Je recommande vivement !

It was a good stay in general definitely coming back, the view from the restaurant is very beautiful and the receptionist that works there offered us coffee even though we missed breakfast. Just I would insist on cleanliness

Very friendly welcome of the reception personnel, but also a big compliment for the hotel / taxi driver CHERIF who is very helpful, absolutely on time and very professional!

The staff was extremely professional, welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely recommend it. I will go back.

No portacot for our toddler (only a newborn cot) Baby had to sleep on the floor on an " improvised bed" made of quilts for two nights, not ideal! Pool and spa facilities arent free

Good location and very good buffet

My only choice, when I go to Algeria. Mr. Anis at the reception and the rest crew work very kindly and disciplined. The hotel is very very clean and the rooms are really big.

L'hôtel meriterait sa 5e étoile. Le service est irréprochable. Le petit dejeuner est trés varié et copieux et le restaurant offre une vue imprenable sur la baie d'Alger.

The hotel was wonderful. I arrived quite early, but they accommodated me with a room right away. Everything was clean, and the buffet was fantastic. Most importantly, the hotel's location is excellent, making it easy for me to get around Algiers.

We love the hotel! We got a suite and it was amazing! Very pleased with the services! We ordered food outside the working hours and they accommodated us! Sherif was the taxi driver was amazing too! He gave us great prices, dropped us off and waited for us. The breakfast was also amazing! Especially les crêpes 10/10! We will defo go back again and we defo recommend it. Thank you so much.

- They never replied to messages on booking. - When you call to request something, you have to do it several times otherwise they will forget - noise isolation is not that good.

Very good business hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms with fantastic view over the bay of Algiers. Diversified breakfast buffet with many options and good quality of food. Possiblity to hire a driver for city tours or specific trips. Only point to improve: It is not possible to contact the hotel by e-mail before the stay to clarify doubts. They just accept phone calls. Otherwise, everything perfect!

Everything was perfect. Great location. Amazing service by everyone, from the valet parking to the breakfast buffet staff and the reception. Very comfortable rooms with a beautiful view on the sea and on the city of Algiers. We’ll be back. Thank you!

Tiny details: a trash bin in the room as opposed to only in the bathroom would have been nice. As well as a blanket to cover up when chilling in the room. However, these are just minor details and this hotel is still a 10.

This is a tall building set on a hill, so even on low floors one can have spectacular views to the ocean. The room was spacious, equipped with coffee machine and kettle, as well as plenty of water, refilled every day. The Algiers Metro (Amirouche), which runs up and down the main parts of the city, is within 5 min walk from the hotel, so that most sights are within easy reach, even from this otherwise unattractive remote location. Breakfast in the restaurant on the seventh floor was very nice, with floor-to-ceiling windows and plenty of choice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Sauna access was a bit expensive (2000 DZD) for my taste. The photos on Booking feature mostly suites and upper-class rooms. My room, which did have a sea view as booked, did not look anywhere like the glossy advertising pictures--a bit of a letdown in terms of expectations.

The room service was good and fast. The view from the Windows was amazing.

The room was not completely soundproofed. We could hear every noise in the hall. The windows could have been cleaner from the outside, which allows a better viewing.

Family of 4 with 2 children under 2. I contacted the hotel and they recommended booking a room for 3 adults. Very clean hotel with professional and pleasant staff: reception and restaurant. I recommend the breakfast:egg, crêpes/ pancakes counter and a variety of food.

Amazing weather and unfortunately no swimming pool. This is the only let down about this hotel.

This is my second stay at Lamaraz Hotel, and I never regret choosing this hotel again. It's one of the cleanest hotels in the area with an amazing view of the Bay of Algiers. You can see the sea, boats, and the beautiful city overlooking the Mediterranean. They offer a good breakfast, and the team was simply amazing.

The parking experience

Amazing and very helpful staff. During my stay I asked Mr. Cherif who was driver of the hotel to drive me to different destination. He was so helpful and professional. The breakfast view and the brekfast ifself was amazing.

Über Sauberkeit haben sie noch nie gehört. Frühstück ist schrecklich. Keine spricht Englisch. Als ich Omelette bestellt habe ohne Käse ohne Gemüse wurde mir jedes Mal mit Gemüse oder Käse gebracht. Und einmal sogar mit Eierschale Kaffe schmeckt Widerlich Bettkissen mit Flecken Im Badezimmer ist sehr unsauber

Hotel molto ben tenuto, camere spaziose, silenziose e pulite. bella sala colazione/ristorante. palestra al minimo ma funzionale. unica "pecca" locato in un luogo un po' fuori mano, ma taxi disponibili sempre. buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. personale gentile e disponibile. ci ritornerò.

Very clean, spacious room with a comfortable big bed and amazing views from the terrace, friendly staff who went beyond and gave me a free upgrade to one of the suites, very delicious iftar

I had the perfect shortest stay in Lamaraz. The staff were very welcoming and the property’s cleanliness exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was excellent too. Definitely coming back for a longer stay.
