Le quartier peut paraître un peu sensible, tres populaire et animé, et c est ce qui donne le ton pour un moment au coeur de Bangkok. Proximité avec les ruelles du quartier de la soie, de la maison extraordinaire de Jim Thompson, et de grands centres commerciaux pour ceux qui aiment. Central donc. La chambre est dans un petit hôtel familial très tres bien entretenu, les propriétaires sont accueillants. Le lieu est paisible. Une vraie découverte.

I really liked the fact that it's a family-owned business run by a couple. They were so sweet, highly efficient, and made me feel so welcome

I am still here haha, came to saty some days and ended up here for more than one month, the price is excellent, staff very friendly and the location is amazing, just some minutes walking from MBK and the shopping malls.

The room is located outside the building, like a separate structure. The shower had to be accessed through the courtyard, which was inconvenient. I didn't expect this; the photo showed the room as being better and inside the building with a nice shower, but in reality, there wasn't

Posizione a 10 minuti a piedi dalla BTS. La struttura è semplice ma, in ogni caso, la camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato era molto grande e pulita. I proprietari sono davvero carini e gentilissimi, ci hanno aiutato molto con consigli e informazioni. Abbiamo anche avuto un piccolo disguido perché abbiamo dimenticato dei medicinali nel loro frigorifero dopo avere lasciato la struttura, ci hanno avvisato tempestivamente e si sono offerti di aiutarci. Abbiamo risolto fortunatamente ma sono stati veramente disponibili.

La zona non è vicinissima al centro storico di Bangkok, per il quale è meglio prendere un Grab, però è assolutamente un buon punto di partenza per esplorare la città.

Camera spaziosa e pulita a 5 minuti dalla casa di Jim Thomson. Zona tranquilla, supermercato e cucina locale vicini. A 10 minuti dalla metropolitana/treno. Caffè e the la mattina. Uso del frigo e di un piccolo forno nella zona comune. Famiglia che lo gestisce molto accogliente

Ne jugez pas cet endroit trop vite. Oui, il a un charme d’un autre temps… mais derrière cette apparente simplicité se cache une authenticité rare. Tout est fonctionnel, et surtout, le couple qui tient l’établissement est d’une bonté exceptionnelle. Même si la langue nous sépare parfois (ils parlent parfaitement anglais, mieux que moi!!) leur sourire et leur volonté d’aider parlent d’eux-mêmes. N’hésitez jamais à leur demander quoi que ce soit : ils feront toujours le maximum pour vous.

location was perfect! The staff amazing and very helpful and welcoming! Accommodation was great and comfortable, bathroom and toilets also good and clean.

没有早餐，位置一般，出来坐公交和地铁最少十多分钟，去周边都要坐公交或者地铁，主要是从巷子出来有点远，不过最主要清净不吵闹，卫生很不错，几位老人挺不错，性价比一般，价格相对有点高了。

房间没有洗漱用品，没有饮用水，位置不算好

L’emplacement est calme mais proche du BTS ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et on se sent vraiment accueillis. J’ai pu laisser mes bagages et prendre une douche en revenant les chercher le dernier jour. Merci !

Ich war bereits zum 2. mal in der Unterkunft. Die Inhaber sind unfassbar freundlich, die Zimmer und das Bad sind super sauber und die Lage ist unschlagbar. Am Tag meines Check Outs bin ich erst Abends geflogen. Ich habe meinen Rucksack abgestellt und durfte als ich ihn abgeholt habe, nochmal duschen gehen um so frisch zum Flughafen abzudüsen.

BaanSu Hostel was in a convenient location close to public transport. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and quiet. Most importantly, the host family were generous, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here.

This hostel was one of the cutest stays during my visit in Thailand. It's super clean, sweet details in the room, comfy bed, even the shared bathroom was perfectly clean and well maintained. Toon is a very nice lady, easy to talk to and welcoming. The place is very close to shops down the road, 7-eleven, eateries, massage places and lies in the district of Ratchathewi which is near Siam Center and BACC. I've so enjoyed it there, it's in a quiet surrounding due to a dead-end alley. Khop kun mak kha!! I'll be back. xo B.

I stayed here multiple times during my half year trip across Asia and it was one of my favourite accommodations of the entire journey. It's very centrally located with easy access to public transport and within walking distance of the Siam area, but tucked away down some cozy alleyways right next to a small river so you're not troubled by traffic noises. The rooms are very clean and charmingly decorated and the whole place just has a very homely feel. It's small and family-run so it feels more like a homestay than a hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone.

It was a very pleasant stay. Area is central but very quiet, which is difficult to find in Bangkok. Owners were nice.y room was clean.

Would be nice to have cotton sheets and pillow cases instead of polyester. And maybe a bit softer bed.

I loved the location and its close proximity to the city. The streets were really authentic and very much local, which is something I loved. The host was exceptional and went out of her way to wait for me to arrive (close to midnight due to my late flight). I enjoyed every bit of my stay. A highly recommended stay.

It's a small family hotel where you feel like at home. Family it's so kind, and local area authentic and interesting.

I stayed alone in the room; it was spacious and clean, and everything was in order.

The biggest downside is that it is located next to a mosque, so I could hear their songs during prayer times.

Chambre de 5, ce qui est rarissime! Auberge de jeunesse tenue avec simplicité et beaucoup de cœur. Les chambres sont très propres et confortable. Les propriétaires sont d’une extrême gentillesse. Au calme. Près du métro.

Pas de jardin mais une cour intérieure non aménagée.

L'emplacement du logement est parfait pour aller aux centres commerciaux (MKB...) avec notamment la ligne de bateau juste à coté. Le musée Jim Thompson est juste à coté. Accueil super niveau, très amical. On a pu laisser nos baggages la journée de notre départ, très sympa (gratuitement).

Un établissement tenu par un couple très sympathique, disponible et arrangeant. Situé dans une ruelle calme et à côté de Jim Thompson. Nous avons pu laisser les bagages et prendre une douche avant de repartir.

お父さん、お母さんの人柄がとてもよかったです。 洗濯物も夜に頼めば次の日の夕方には綺麗に畳んでおいてくれます。1回50バーツでした。 周辺の環境も、タイの方々の普段の生活が見れてよい経験になりました。毎日犬や猫がたくさんいる住宅の間を抜けて歩くのが楽しみでした。夜は少しスリリングです。 観光客向けに整備された環境にある宿もいいですが、めっちゃ地元感のあるこちらの宿の方が私は楽しかったです。

3階の部屋に泊まりましたが、シャワーの水の出がいまいちだと思う人もいるかもしれません。

La simplicité et la propreté de l’hôtel. La proximité avec le MBK (compter moins de 15min) à pied. La gentillesse incroyable des gérants de l’hôtel. Nous devions quitter l’hôtel à 3h du matin pour notre vol retour sur Paris. La propriétaire nous gentiment réservé un taxi en nous indiquant le prix au préalable. Et les propriétaires se sont levés à 3h pour s’assurer que le taxi était bien là et nous dire au revoir.

The hosts are very nice. It is a place of their home. They keep the rooms nice, clean and tidy. They can do your laundry if you ask. The place is close to the malls, the train and fancy restaurants. We felt like home during our stay. It is a perfect place for families.

Nice, family hotel. Friendly staff. Clean. Easy check in. Quiet area. There's nothing much of interest in the local area but the BTS and the canal boats are 10 minutes away. The Wifi was good (although it did go off one night). The single room had everything I needed.

The hosts are friendly and super nice.

My family had a wonderful stay at Baansu. The owner, Ms. Toon, is very accommodating and kind. The facilities are clean. The rooms are spacious. Value for money!

They don't offer breakfast

The pictures doesn't match the reality. The hostel is a bit difficult to find near to a Musly temple where they are praying during the day until night

It's a Hostel in the middle of Bangkok. It was sound.

Very friendly and helpful owners, clean (no shoes inside). I liked wooden steps, nice decoration, free tea and coffee. Location is very good in the typical local community, with narrow passages, close to klong and Jim Thompson museum. I received the best room, thank you for it!

Reasonable price for the close proximity to Siam area and a BTS station but it is in an alley and the entrance was not easy to find.

Owner or staff would enter your room without permission, they would knock briefly and without even giving you a chance to respond, use their keys to access the room. When we were not in, they went into the room to anchor the air dryer to the cupboard as if it's urgent and they couldn't wait for us to vacant the room to fit that. The location of the work they did was so close to the bed I was sleeping on (see photos) and after that I did not feel comfortable or clean to sleep on it.

The owner was amazing. Good people and super clean. She will help you. Even after check-out, they offered us to take a shower. It was great feeling.

The hosts are very nice. The room is a bit old but clean. It's about 500m from the BTS station and just 1 stop to Siam Paragon. I highly recommend it.

The street in front of the hotel is a bit narrow, difficult for cars to go through but bikes can go easily.

The host is just lovely. Really kind! We were able to store our luggage after check out and when we came back to pick it up she even offered us to use the shower. Spontaneous booking was no problem and she was already perfectly prepared. We never had to wait for the shared bathroom. It was clean and almost felt like private. Highly recommend.

The host has a welcoming and friendly vibes. They make sure that my family is comfortable and that we are having a wonderful stay in Thailand. Highly recommended.

The location is a lil bit far from train station(Rachathewi station) but walkable somehow. You can use Bolt/Uber/Taxi/Tuktuk as your means of transpo if you are lazy to walk.
