2 bedroom apartment was perfect and it was functionally perfect for our needs

The cleanliness and welcoming owner. The location was great and setup of the apartment, including welcoming bottle of wine, rusks, biscuits and tea and coffee. The perfect start to a trip.

We loved everything about this place. The hosts were charming and super helpful. The apartment was spotless, well equipped and the garden and pool area was fabulous.

Nothing we didn’t like!

The accommodation was very tidy, clean and well maintained. Everything you can imagine was thought through and there for you. A very professional setup. You can even braai there if you want. I loved the little robot lawn cutter that silently works away on keeping that lawn looking immaculate.

Lovely owners and pointer, Romeo, to welcome us. Spotless and very comfortable unit in a fantastic location. Great parking and lovely patio and lawn for some outdoor time. We enjoyed preparing dinner using the kitchen facilities and then sitting outside to enjoy the evenings. Attention to detail and finishing touches well thought out.

Prefer a softer, comfy mattress.

Super staff in a super cozy apartment, large garden with Braai and pool. The staff makes their best efforts to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. My very best recommendations!

Lieben Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Noordhoek! Es war der perfekte Start in unsere Südafrikareise! Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt, wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Zum Schluss gab es sogar noch ein paar Reisetipps von Elba, die wir ganz sicher umsetzen werden. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder buchen!

Our apartment was cleaned every day by Rosie who did a great job. The garden, pool and outdoor kitchen area were kept immaculate. I became unwell and Elba helped me enormously by getting me a doctors appointment for the same day. She even drove me there herself, and then to the pharmacist to get my prescribed medication. I was so grateful for her help & support. The location of the property is great as you are not far from anywhere. Two malls with supermarkets are only a few minutes drive as is the beach, cafes and restaurants. I would definitely recommend a stay here. You will not be disappointed. We would certainly rebook here. Can't fault it!

Would definitely recommend this lovely guesthouse. Perfect spot to explore both the cape and Cape Town From. Gerrit and Elba are very warm hosts.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to other travelers enjoying the Cape peninsula.

If you open the windows, the noise from the road is quite present. A bigger table and a bigger coffee table would be nice in the unit for 4 persons.

Beautiful and well equipped room. Great location for Cape Town and southern suburbs including Chapmans Peak drive and Table Mountain. Good restaurants a short drive away. Peaceful and beautifully cared for grounds including swimming pool. Very secure premises and parking. And on top of all this, amazing, knowledgable and extremely caring hosts. Thank you Elba and Gerrit for everything.

The unit was spacious, clean, well laid out and felt luxurious. The grounds are immaculately kept. Truly a gem!

The Sunset Splendour was the perfect venue for our visit. The location was central, close to Cape Town and on the way to sites such as Stellenbosch, Boulders (Pengiun Beach) and Cape Point. Elba could not have been more helpful and was available at all hours to offer support. There were any added extras in the guesthouse such as a large binder full of local information and recommendations, wine, baked goodies and more. The suite was beautifully presented and had all the amenities we could need. If you are unlucky enough to hit load shedding they have a system that still allows you to watch TV, have most of the lights on and hot water for a shower.

Everything was absolutely fantastic. The location the hosts, the facilities. Terrific. Would recommend to anyone for any occasion, business or leisure.

Everything was great, from the communication with Elba ahead of arrival, to our wonderful stay at the guesthouse. We loved the unit, beautiful views, very well equipped and very spacious. Elba left us little complimentary gifts that enhanced our stay. The pool area is also great, not too close to the unit so that guests won't be bothered by the possible noise. We really enjoyed our stay and will surely be back next time we visit the area.

The rooms are spotlessly clean serviced every day, we even cooked a couple of times and had everything we needed in the kitchen.There was no noise from other rooms either despite having full occupancy which was a real surprise,it was outstanding. The pool area was a really private place to sunbathe and the facilities in the outdoor kitchen are excellent. We had previously been staying in a five star hotel but decided to stay another five weeks. We were forced to move because of availability. I wish I had known about SS because we would have spent the whole time here paying a fraction of the cost for better facilities. Elba the owner was always a phone call away and facilitated our every need. There are not enough superlatives to describe our wonderful stay there. We’re planning to come back next year with the family.

Very friendly and beautiful place. Everything you can think of that you may need is there and more. We arrived very late and was still received so friendly even had some warm water in a flash because it was load shedding. Stayed in 5 star places and this exceeds its by far. Great to see the history of the place

We did not have breakfast - it was self catering - but the facilities were unbelievably good in every way - we were blown away

Absolutely nothing

Accomodation fit for a king. Excellent spot central between Kaap de goede hoop and Kaapstad. Amazing location with garden kitchen (including barbeque) swimming pool and everything you can ever wish for. Almost a petty to leave for sightseeing. Definitively worth taking a detour for.

Wonderful welcoming and friendly hosts. A modern stylish apart-hotel with 4 units, So even fully occupied it never felt busy. Very close to amenities locally and Cape Town only 30 minutes away. There are 2 shopping centres within walking distance and the famous deli And farm market only 2 miles away. The swimming pool and bbq/braai area is well designed and has ample seating should you want to have guests visit for the evening. The housekeeping is of a very high standard and we left laptops phones etc in the rooms and didn’t even feel the need to use the safe provided. A true home from home but with views and sunsets you’ll always remember. Thanks guys a great 2 weeks.
