Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Wir kommen schon seit Jahren hierher. Von Patras aus sind es gerade mal 45 Km. Das Hotel ist eigentlich ein Apartment-Hotel. Die Zimmer bestehen aus Küche, Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer. Sehr bequeme Betten, ein großes Sofa im Wohnzimmer. Wir hatten eine Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen und einen Blick in den schönen Garten. Der saubere Pool lädt zum Schwimmen ein und hat auch ein paar Liegestühle. In Laufweite ist ein kleiner Minimarkt, Taverne und Café sowie der Bahnhof mit der legendären Zahnradbahn. Das absolute Highlight ist aber das Frühstück, von dem sich manches Hotel eine Scheibe abschneiden kann: Joghurt, Schinken-Käse-Toast, Marmelade, Butter, Brot, Eier, Tomaten und Gurken, Früchte, O-Saft. Das Frühstück wird serviert, Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt. Kaffee oder Cappuccino ist ebenfalls im Preis eigeschlossen, der supergünstig ist. Auch der zweite Cappu war ohne Aufpreis. Wer hierherkommt und nicht im Hotel Alkistis übernachtet (und sich das Frühstück spart) verpasst wirklich etwas!
Hier ist wirklich alles perfekt und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis spitze!

You could certainly spend a few days here just to relax. It is close to the sea, and there is a restaurant and café right on the beach.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Diakopto ist jetzt nicht der Traumort. Aber das Alkistis Hotel hat mir sehr gut gefallen. App 206 war sehr schön , geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ein sehr gutes Bett, es war ruhig und das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis war super. Der Pool ist von 10-20.00 Uhr nutzbar. Fussläufig gibt es Lokale, einen Mini- Market, das Meer, perfekt. Ich kanndas Hotel empfehlen.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Appartamento spazioso e ben arredato, con ampio balcone e cucina ben attrezzata. Per noi punto di passaggio per una sola notte, ma apprezzato dalla famiglia. Non distante dalla spiaggia e dai localini del paese. I proprietari molto gentili e accoglienti. Abbiamo chiesto la colazione e devo dire che è andata ben oltre le aspettative! Buona, abbondante, dolce e salata, con marmellate fatte in casa e yogurt greco molto buono!!! Avendo un bambino, la piscina è stata utilizzata con soddisfazione (avendo la spiaggia vicina, raggiungibile a piedi, scogli in acqua con presenza di ricci).

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026- zeer vriendelijke en hulpvaardige eigenaar (en moeder). We mochten 2 uur eerder inchecken. Ook kregen we snoepjes en gebak bij het zwembad; - toen ik ziek was werd een arts uit de familie voor me ingeschakeld. Hij gaf me een gratis consult, antibiotica en een recept voor probiotica en zalf. Echt top! - mooi zwembad en mooi appartement. Prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en 2 balkons; - dagelijkse schoonmaak; - kort bij de zee, winkels en restaurants. - we raden dit appartement iedereen aan.
- klein achterstallig onderhoud zoals niet functionerde lampen en een schuifpui die niet afgesloten kon worden. Ons stoorde dit echter niet; - de drain in de badkamer werkte niet goed waardoor de badkamer blank stond na het douchen.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit Pool. Ich wurde sehr herzlich begrüßt und am Morgen war das servierte Frühstück einfach toll. Die selbstgemachte Konfitüre ist unschlagbar 🫶. Das Zimmer war sehr gross mit Küche und grossem Balkon.
Der Pool ist enorm warm und darf ab und zu etwas frisches Wasser haben.

Swimming pool area is kept clean and tidy and very nice for a refreshing dip after a day out. The location is very good for the beach and walking into and around the town. Also in a great location for exploring the area.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Zeer ruime, nette studio met zeer ruim terras en aangenaam zwembad. De uitbaters waren steeds aanwezig om eventuele vragen te beantwoorden. Jammer dat het treintje naar Kalavrita niet operatief was. Maar de alternatieve, fantastische wandeling van Zachlorou naar Diakopto (spoorweg gevolgd) gedaan (+- 4 uur) heeft dit goedgemaakt.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026המלון היה לשביעות רצוננו המלאה שכן היה במרחק קצר ממרכז דיאקופטו, במיקום נפלא עם תצפית על כל הנוף היפה סביב. המבנה חדש, מטופח מאוד,מתוחזק היטב, נקי, מעוצב ונוח. ארוחת הבוקר היתה מושקעת מאוד וטעימה. הצוות היה מסביר פנים
הצטערנו ששהינו במלון רק לילה אחד.

Das Apartment war in Ordnung. Balkon mit schönem Ausblick in die Natur. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Das Zimmer hatte Ausblick in die Berge und einen sehr grossen Balkon. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr schönen und gepflegten Anlage mit Pool.
Das Badezimmer war sehr klein und die Duschkabine hatte keinen Vorang. Damit war eine tägliche Überschwemmung vorprogrammiert, was sich negativ auf den Zustand von Fugen und Holztüre auswirkte. Das Frühstück bestand aus fixen, abgezählten Speisen, was wenig Raum liess für unerschiedliche Vorlieben.

Reviewed May 20, 2026L'Alkistis est un vrai petit paradis ! Au calme, à cent mètres de la mer et au pied des montagnes, au milieu d'une belle végétation, on loge non pas dans une chambre, mais dans un véritable appartement, grand, propre, confortable, bien équipé, doté d'une terrasse privative. Jolie piscine, très agréable. Accueil très sympathique et serviable des propriétaires, qui habitent sur place. Un rapport qualité-prix incroyable (en France, on paierait le double pour un tel niveau de services). Seul regret (mais ce n'est évidemment pas la faute de l'Alkistis) : le petit train des gorges ne fonctionne plus (provisoirement ?). Cela dit, il FAUT quand même loger là, pour le charme de l'hôtel et pour la route magnifique qui va de Diakopto à Kalavryta !
Juste un détail : un éclairage vraiment très faible dans la cuisine !

Reviewed May 18, 2026Das Apartment war sehr gross, mit Wohnzimmer, Küche, Esstisch und einer Terrasse mit Stühlen und Tisch. Das Badezimmer war recht neu und ebenfalls ausreichend gross - nur die Badezimmertür war durch die Nässe verzogen und liess sich schwer schliessen. Da wir in der Schlucht wandern wollten, aber die Zahnradbahn nicht fährt, wurde uns vom Hotel ein Taxi organisiert für 40€. Damit sind wir zu Unseren Ausgangspunkt gekommen und konnten durch die herrliche Schlucht laufen. Das Geld war es das wert. Wir haben nur an einem Tag gefrühstückt und das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber auch nichts Spezielles.
Das Apartment hat an jedem Fenster Fliegengitter und dennoch hatten wir in der ersten Nacht 3 Mücken und in der 2. Nacht 5 Mücken im Zimmer. Die Fliegengitter sind auch etwas älter, wackeln und schliessen nicht mehr vollständig.

Reviewed May 17, 2026What you see in the pictures is what you get. The room is specious. The facilities are OK. The period we visited the hotel (early May) was not proper for using the pool. Though I noticed that there was 2 in 1 a small one for kids and a bigger one for adults. We did not try the breakfast. We were planning to walk down the "Vouraikos" gorge and prefer to have breakfast in Zachlorou. The staff was very polite.

Reviewed May 12, 2026Το κατάλυμα ήταν εξαιρετικά μεγάλο, άνετο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, ιδανικό για ξεκούραστες διακοπές. Η τοποθεσία του ήταν πολύ βολική, καθώς βρισκόταν πολύ κοντά τόσο στην παραλία όσο και στον σταθμό του τρένου. Ξεχώρισα ιδιαίτερα την υπέροχη και άνετη βεράντα, μέσα στη φύση, που πρόσφερε στιγμές χαλάρωσης και ηρεμίας. Επίσης, το άνετο πάρκινγκ έκανε τη διαμονή ακόμα πιο εύκολη και πρακτική. Θα το επέλεγα ξανά χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη!

Reviewed May 3, 2026Das Hotel liegt sehr schön in Strandnähe, hat ein schönes kleines Schwimmbad und die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Appartment hat Herd, Kühlschrank und was man so braucht. Man hat eine kleine Terrasse zum draussen sitzen. Ein kleiner Wasserrohrbruch, der uns um 22 Uhr ereilte konnte Gottlob in 45 MInuten behoben werden.
Es gab nichts zu mäkeln. Leider ist die Zahnradbahn mal wieder ausser Betrieb, aber dafür kann die Unterkunft ja nichts.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026La struttura è molto bella, c'è la piscina e ci hanno gentilmente dato le camere prima dell'orario di checkin. Si arriva in pochi minuti alla spiaggia. Parcheggio facile sulla strada davanti.
Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con lo scarico della doccia.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Sehr, sehr nette Betreiberin des Hotels, tolle Lage sehr große Appartements mit fantastischen Balkonen. Schönes Badezimmer. Gutes Frühstück.
Die kleine Zahnradbahn in die Schlucht war geschlossen und damit war der gesamte Tourismus und die Infrastruktur lahmgelegt. Es gab im ganzen Ort und in den Bergen kein einziges offenes Restaurant.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2026Wir waren über das Orthodoxe Osterfest dort. Die Gastgebefamilie war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Restaurants sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Geräumiges Appartment mit großem Balkon.
Das zentrale Außengerät der Klimaanlage war nachts recht laut.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Es hat einfach alles gestimmt, ich wurde herzlich empfangen und fühlte mich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Hotel ist super sauber und gepflegt und die Zimmer bzw. Apartments sind unglaublich. Sie sind modern eingerichtet, komplett ausgestattet, riesengroß und mit einer Terasse mit atemberaubend schönen Ausblick auf die Schlucht. Ich komme ganz bald wieder, dann ist es warm genug, um den Pool zu nutzen und es gibt soviel mehr in und um Diakopto zu erkunden.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026We had a wonderful stay! The people were extremely kind and welcoming. The apartment was large, very well equipped, and comfortable. It had a kitchenette with a refrigerator and oven, plenty of cabinets, a table with chairs, and two sofas. Everything was very clean, and the apartment was cleaned daily. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, which creates a very relaxing atmosphere. There is also a large terrace with garden furniture where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The town itself is very quiet, making it a perfect place to rest and unwind. In the bedroom there are large windows with a beautiful view of the mountains. The whole apartment is air-conditioned and very comfortable. The beach is only a short distance away, and there are two very good restaurants nearby. The Diakopto mountain railway station is also just a few steps away and it is definitely worth taking the trip. Iniochos 2026 :)
