Instal·lacions antigues. Manca d’oferta aprop per sopar que ells supleixen amb pizza i similars (o sigui que senzill pero t’ho solucionen). Amb el preu entenc que pagues les vistes, però comparativament una mica alt.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Es hat Wasserflecken an den Wänden und der Decke. In der Lobby war der Teppich abgenutzt und wellig. Im Aufenthaltsraum war die Möbel alt und abgewetzt.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Prachtig hotel vlakbij de natuur. De kamers zijn prachtig en het personeel is ontzettend lief en behulpzaam. De maaltijden waren heerlijk en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Het hotel heeft heel wat fijne plekjes om te zitten, zoals bij de rustgevende vijver met koivissen. Ook de onsen was heerlijk. Super handig ook dat ze een shuttlebusje van en naar het station inleggen. Een heel fijn en aangenaam verblijf!

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026I had a wonderful stay at 葉山. Although I was only there for one night, it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Yamagata. The room was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The onsen was clean, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. My only small criticism is that the outdoor bath (露天風呂) felt a little lukewarm during our visit, but it certainly didn't take away from the experience. The hospitality was exceptional. Every staff member we met was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They even drove us to the train station after check-out, which was a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. Both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Dinner was a beautifully prepared multi-course meal, and I especially enjoyed the bottle of 梅酒, which paired perfectly with the food. Breakfast was just as delicious and was the perfect way to start the day. One of the main reasons we chose 葉山 was its convenient location near several cherry-picking (さくらんぼ狩り) orchards. After breakfast, we visited one nearby, and it made for the perfect start to our day. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Between the relaxing baths, excellent food, beautiful accommodations, and genuinely warm hospitality, 葉山 exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again the next time I visit Yamagata.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026フロントのスタッフ、お食事の時もみなさん親しみがあり、コミュニケーションが取りやすかった。おもてなしを届けようと感じられた。 具体的には、帰りの駅までの送迎のところ、この時間は余裕があるので、と希望の斎藤茂吉記念館まで車で案内してくださり、電車の乗り方など、とても親切でした。
中に入っている「癒しどころ」の方は、こちらの要望を受け入れず、できない主張ばかりしてきた。フロントから技術は良いと勧められたのに、残念でした。具体的には、時間の都合で、45分の施術を2人希望しましたが、それでは、半分しかできない、の一点張りで、嫌な気持ちになり、キャンセルにしたところ、不満げな表情で戻られた。

Reviewed May 13, 2026Personeel was supervriendelijk en bracht ons persoonlijk naar onze kamer. De kamer was enorm en in traditionele stijl. De gezamelijke ruimtes en gangen zijn stijlvol en gezellig. De onsen was heel fijn, met verschillende soorten shampoos en zeep. Het buitenbad was mooi en aangenaam, maar het binnenbad was te heet voor mij. We hadden ontbijt erbij, wat ze op verzoek vegetarisch maakten. Veel verschillende smaken en prachtig opgemaakt. Het was leuk om een onsen hotel te kunnen ervaren
Je ziet ook dat alles wat ouder is door schade aan het houtwerk, niet zo mooi onderhouden tuintjes, etc. Wij hadden 'uitzicht' op de parkeerplaats omdat de bamboe omheining een beetje kapot was.

Reviewed May 3, 2026The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the ryokan has a strong traditional atmosphere. The food was okay, though not as outstanding as some reviews mentioned. We had the Kaiseki dinner, which was a nice experience overall.
Some areas become quite dark after certain hours as the lights are turned off, which made us feel a bit uneasy. There are also restrictions on using public spaces such as the lounge area after around 9–10pm, which may feel limiting for some guests.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. They made us feel so welcome. The room with private bath is one of the best choices we could have made, and the view of the mountains from the bath made it even more relaxing. . And sitting on our balcony watching the sun set whilst using the footbath, drinking green tea was amazing. We had a beauridul private dining room. The food was out of this world. The Yamagata local produce was cooked/prepared beautifully and even the shoyu and rice were so tasty. Everything was exquisitely presented and the table service was exceptional. We arrived feeling very stressed from a hectic time at our work and left feelling completely rejuvenated and detoxed. The staff here at this hotel are wonderful. So professional and friendly. We felt so welcome. One of our party used the wellness services and said their treatments were really effective and helped a lot after a long day of climbing. Highly recommended. The beds were very comfortable and the room amenities excellent.
It's difficult to criticise this hotel at all but perhaps more access to cold water would be nice after spending time in the warm onsen.

The facilities were worth walking around and enjoying on their own; such a beautiful and relaxing place. Breakfast was such a treat; authentic and delicious.
The only thing that comes to mind is our preference for the bed/pillows; both were too firm for our liking.

The view from our balcony over Kaminoyama and towards the mountains was beautiful, and the public onsen (indoor and outdoor baths) was lovely. It was an especial treat to have a private hot spring bath in the room, and a footbath on the balcony. The public lounge areas were comfortable and relaxing. Shuttle buses to and from the station also made our stay really convenient.

Reviewed Mar 9, 2026施設は新しくないが、手入れされていて、気持ちよく過ごせた。食事は健康のもとという方針で、お品書きにも効用が記されていた。3階のラウンジでは、スタッフがホットコーヒーや紅茶などをサービスしてくれた。
食事は豪華というわけではない。どちらかと言うと、お得感は薄い。

Reviewed Mar 9, 2026施設は決して新しくはないが、手入れが行き届いて使いやすい。料理に豪華さは無いが、上山市が進めている「食と健康」の価値に沿って、健康作りに役立つ献立を追求しているようで、好ましく思った。
料理の品数はあるが、食べごたえがあるという程ではなかった。

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026We stayed in a room with en-suite onsen. We enjoyed onsen every evening in the large public one and every morning in the room before we started the day. All meals from breakfast and dinner were amazing and the staff were also super friendly.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026Рекан расположен в 20 минутах пешком от станции Каминояма, предоставляются юкаты, чай двух видов, все не обходимые гигиенические принадлежности, футоны удобные, ужин вкусный и сытный. Общественный онсен уютный, есть крытый и на открытом воздухе, так же есть все необходимое для мытья. Девушка обслуживающая нас на завтраке и ужине была заботливой и очень милой

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026①ウェルカムドリンク。 言わずもがな、この暑さではありがたいサービスでした。 ②食事給仕の際の声掛け。 この辺は客に寄るのでしょうが、静かな空間で黙々とされるより和みはあった方が良いかと思いましたので⭕️ ③ 露天風呂など汚れが浮いていたり有りがちですが、とても綺麗だったと思います。
館内廊下と風呂場脱衣所の空調は無い…もしくはオフでしょうか。 光熱費も掛かり全館空調は難しいのかも知れませんが、風呂上がりは涼しさを求めたかったです。 浴槽は綺麗でしたが、鏡の水アカは残念でした。 あれは通常の清掃では、なかなか落としにくいかと存じます。 プロの皆さんへ大変恐縮ですが、私は自宅浴室鏡を歯磨き粉で2週間に一度ほど磨いております。 道具は要らず、鏡一枚手で15秒で終わります。 わずかな労力で見違える輝きになりますので、是非お勧め致します。 あともう一点、こちらは優先順位は低いかと思いますが、部屋の浴室シャワーが劣化でしょうか。穴が詰まって細く強い水圧で出ておりました。 部屋の劣化や傷はそれも味ですから、新調の必要はありませんが設備等は気になる所でした。

Reviewed Jan 14, 2026飯店外觀看起來很小，但其實裡面超大，公共空間也很讚，房間也很大。搭配的早餐晚餐也是豐盛到不行！！兒童套餐甚至也是豐盛到大人都吃不完…. 大眾溫泉有兩個池，室外和室內，有分男女。 小孩子玩得很開心！ 這個價錢值回票價！
二樓有點黑，可能是沒開放的緣故。但小孩子不小心走下去了，覺得害怕又上樓。 飯店外面沒什麼能逛的，不過待在飯店就夠了！

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026Outdoor bath - small but nice. You can get lucky and have private experience if noone is there. Request pickup at the railway station beforehand - very convenient.
We stayed at ryokan with Japanese style meal and noone asked as about allergies when we checked in. After first night, when we said that we don't eat mushrooms, we were served them again. (Poor coordination between staff?). For tall people (>190): be aware of low door frames.
