Reviewed Sep 27, 2024We stayed for a week in the lodge and enjoyed every minute. The accommodation has everything you will need for a stress free holiday,very close to wonderful walks and has places to eat/drink just a short distance away. Its very central to other attractions we went to the zip wire which was wonderful, the national caves and dinosaur park, great day out, also went down the big pit coal mine, another fantastic day out. We would very much recommend this accommodation for families who want a big adventure

Reviewed Apr 2, 2024The location of the property was perfect. The bed were comfy which meant a good sleep all round. The heating system was spot on especially after a cold day.
We struggled to get a full bath of hot water, which after a day of walking and rain, hail and snow was a little disappointing but wouldn’t deter us from staying again.

Great scenic walks, near to beautiful waterfalls and good access to beaches with our car. Lovely deep bath tub perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring!

Reviewed Oct 13, 2023Very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped with everything needed. True home from home experience. Loved the woodburner. Lovely peace and quiet. Slept better than at home !
If I had to think of one thing, the double bed was very comfortable but very low indeed to the ground which would be difficult for less able people.
