Beautiful accommodation in a stunning location. Our hosts Charles and Tam were friendly, down to earth people who were happy to chat or to leave us to our own devices. Clean, comfortable accommodation which had everything we needed.

Exceptional place to stay. Right on the water and the ferry is a stones throw away over to Whitianga. The rooms are great with comfy beds. Theres a walking track close by as well and free parking is offered. The owners are welcoming and have great advice on where to go in the area.

Beautiful location overlooking the bay and a 2 minute ferry ride to Whitianga bars, restaurants etc 😀

Tidy and beautiful place

Perfect location for a relaxed break. Fun water taxi over to Whitianga which had plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. The hosts were super helpful and gave us some great recommendations. Great location to pop to cathedral cove and hot water beach. Would love to return for another stop over.

The hosts, Tam and Charles, were incredible. Nothing was too much for them, they were welcoming and polite and it just made the experience so much better. The property was the most beautiful spot and perfect access into the town, beaches or just for some tranquility. The BBQ meant that we had amenities to watch the sunset and use their tables, picnic blanket and the whole set us is perfect.

Heaven place in the middle of the forest (we had windows facing the fern) and facing the bay. Everything in the apartment was lovely, and hosts were super kind and helpful.

Fabulous location, great facilities and hosts who go out of their way to make sure you have the best time. We loved the thoughtful little extras like spades for hot water beach, tide times, reef shoes, beach towels, kayaks, SUP, bikes - everything you could possibly need. Breakfast starter kit was perfect and we appreciated the rearranging of beds to fit us in. We look forward to coming back real soon.

with additional guests the privacy to the bathroom could be better with a solid door instead of slated door.

the wifi bandwidth wasn’t great at all. we often also kept losing wifi signal. noticed you are with Spark I had Vodafone and the signal and speed is very good.

Location is amazing. 2 minute walk to Ferry. The area is just beautiful. The breakfast basket is great and the owners are super friendly and accommodating.

The WIFI was a bit hit and miss.

I so enjoyed staying at this lodge. It was so comfortable and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. I just wished I could have stayed there longer.

This was by far our best stay to date. A warm welcome by our host Tam & Richard, beautiful snug apartment over looking ferry landings with air con. Breakfast was included which was supplied the evening before so that we could cook ourselves. Cycles, kayaks fishing rods etc all supplied for guest to use. It was a shame this was at the end of our trip or we would of stayed longer, perfect place.
