The owner is so lovely and helpful (eg with an early breakfast, quick laundry turn around and luggage storage while we went on a trek), and the room is clean. Would definitely recommend!

The family made the experience of staying here feel at home. I stayed for almost a month in between my hiking trips. Very convenient and in a quieter neighborhood. The breakfast and the food at the homestay was excellent. The hospitality of the host family was the reason for my long stay. They also rent trekking gear and help organize trips.

Muy buen sitio para quedarse en Pokhara. De todos los sitios en los que nos hemos alojado en Nepal, este ha sido de los mejores. Buena limpieza, camas cómodas, ducha caliente, lugar tranquilo para descansar, y personal muy simpático y agradable. Te ayudan a preparar tu trekking, y te pueden alquilar material para la montaña si tienes la necesidad. Tienen muy ricos desayunos (sobretodo la banana pancake), y gran variedad. Los techos de las habitaciones son preciosos, pintados con cielos o estrellas. Además, la localización es perfecta. En principio nos íbamos a quedar dos noches, y acabamos quedándonos cinco. Lo recomiendo.

The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is so delicious. When I come back to Pokhara, I definitely stay here again.

The family that runs this guest house was incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was lovely as well. The room was spacious and comfortable. I also liked that the guest house is tucked away in an alleyway so you don't hear the noise of Pokhara.

Had a great stay here! Its great value for money! You really can’t ask for more for the price. I stayed both before and after my trek and ended up being here for 12 nights in total. The guesthouse is just by the main road but still very quiet! 10 min walk from the tourist street and the lake. Breakfast is very good! And the owners are super kind and always around if you need anything. It made the whole stay feel really easy and comfortable. Would definitely come back!

Que dire de plus… Cet endroit est tout simplement hors du commun. Harri et sa famille dégagent une âme et une énergie incroyables, tellement lumineuses et chaleureuses que c’en est indescriptible. La cuisine qu’ils proposent est l’une des meilleures que j’ai goûtées ici au Népal : tout est fait maison, avec des produits frais et beaucoup d’amour. Et que dire du safari… Harri et son guide font preuve d’une sensibilité et d’un respect de la nature exceptionnels. En seulement deux jours, nous avons eu la chance de voir deux tigres, mais aussi des animaux fascinants : oiseaux, crocodiles, rhinocéros… J’ai été profondément touchée de voir avec quelle passion ils exercent leur métier, et à quel point ils partagent sincèrement notre bonheur lorsque nous apercevons un tigre. C’était un moment très émouvant. Je reviendrai, ça c’est certain. Merci, merci, merci… et encore, les mots ne suffisent pas ! À bientôt, Julie Keep shining 🌞

All in one - the owners have been very accommodating and helpful with my trekking plans, permits and even clothes. Highly recommend particularly for people who want to trek but plan nothing)

Pokharas best accommodation! Harry, the host, is absolutely fantastic 👌 He shared so much helpful advice about trekking, explained everything clearly, and made the whole experience feel easy and well-supported. He’s also genuinely funny, welcoming, and just a great person to be around. The breakfast was delicious every morning, and there was a great variety to start the day well. The hot showers have excellent pressure — such a treat after long days out exploring. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are spotless and well maintained. The location is ideal — just far enough from the busy lakefront to be peaceful and quiet at night, but still only a short 10-minute walk to reach the lake and all the main areas. Overall, everything was excellent from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again, and honestly wouldn’t look anywhere else in Pokhara next time. Highly recommended — truly one of the best places to stay in Pokhara 👌

Very basic budget accommodation on a side alley off the main street with the Pokhara tourist district and lake just a short walk away. Hot water, dependable WiFi. The Banana Pancakes that other reviews rave about as a breakfast option were the best part of staying there!

I was looking for somewhere to have an extended stay. This was not the place. There's nowhere to really put anything unless on the extra single bed in the room, nothing suitable for a laptop work station, the mattress pad was very uncomfortable for bed I slept on, and the staff and anyone talking echoes through the facility. Windows and Doors all have the double and triple slide latch locks that are old, need oiled, or completely replaced. I did not appreciate scraping my knuckles just trying to get something open. In addition, as other reviews have mentioned, there's a very fine line between hospitality and being nosey. It definitely felt like the latter!

Pokoje czyste, łóżka wygodne, pyszne jedzenie, a właściciele mili i pomocni - dostałem mnóstwo wskazówek odnośnie trekkingu. Załatwicie tu wszystko (pranie, bilety na autobus, permit na trekking etc). Mają też sprzęt do wypożyczenia i można zostawić tam swoje rzeczy na czas trekkingu. Polecam!

Harry was incredible helpful with the permits and with tips I picked the right hotel coming here he made my planning easier , also the banana pancakes for breakfast are delicious and his wife is very sweet and helpful ! Recommend

Es la segunda vez que me alojo en esta guest house y mi experiencia fue aún mejor que la primera vez. Personal muy amable, Harry te soluciona todos los problemas: excursiones, taxis a buen precio, buenos consejos de qué hacer y qué no hacer en Pokhara. Mientras que Laxmi te hace sentir como en tu casa y te prepara la mejor comida. La ubicación es perfecta, a 5 minutos a pie del lago Phewa pero lejos del ruido por lo cual se descansa bien. Todo está limpio y ordenado. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Such a great place. Staff is friendly and hospitable. Laundry was done quickly with no issues. Rooms are clean and beds are really cozy. I even shared a beer with the owner. You must try their banana pancake, it's really tasty.

De kamer was heel erg proper, de eigenaars waren behulpzaam en op de ochtend van ons vertrek hebben ze in alle vroegte nog ontbijt voor ons gemaakt. Een aanrader!

Limpio. Agradable centrico. El dueño y su mujer te hacer sentir como en casa. Aparte tambien tienen la compañia para trekkings y excursiones. Y te ofrece toda la ayuda possible. Si duda el año que vien volvemos

Tous est parfait, l'emplacement est tres bien, la chambre aussi avec eau chaude. Les gérants sont hyper arrangeant, ils sont vraiment au petit soins.

Très bien situé, à proximité du lac, eau chaude disponible, literie confortable, personnel très sympathique et aidant.

We had a fantastic stay in Harry’s Guesthouse. Harry and his wife are friendly and welcoming. It’s in a more relaxing place, 5 min walk to the busy street. The rooms are great & clean. We come back after our Annapurna Circuit track to relax and enjoy the rest of Pokhara.

Sono arrivato in moto, sporco di fango, e il titolare dell’Harry Guest House mi ha accolto con una gentilezza unica: il giorno dopo ho trovato la moto pulita da lui stesso, senza che lo chiedessi. Un gesto che non dimenticherò. Struttura pulita, confortevole e gestita con cuore. Mi ha persino scritto nei giorni successivi per sapere come proseguiva il viaggio. Mi sono sentito come in famiglia. Consigliatissima, soprattutto per i motociclisti!

Harry and Laxmi are really friendly and care about your every need. And the rooms were clean and good.

The bum spray in the washroom acted up sometimes but not a deal breaker at all.

I very much appreciated the good service of Harry and his wife who made my stay comfortable and pleasant. My rating of this stay is high but travelers should be aware of two things. First, there is no air conditioning here. There was a large ceiling fan and opening windows with a breeze, but I missed air conditioning (which one might have expected in a hostel that is in Nepal's large tourist city of Pokhara). Second, the guest house advertises itself as having a "bar". The hosts kindly took me to their rooftop facility (which has a not bad view) on the fourth floor, but it is more of a drinking shed than a bar. No bartender, no other customers at the time, no decoration, and no atmosphere, so really just a place to drink. When another beer is wanted the procedure is to telephone the front desk and the hostess then very kindly climbs four floors with your drink before she returns to her station! Again, the place and hosts are very pleasant, but these two features were a bit lacking.

Breakfast was great, the lady helped me to collect my clothes while I was drying them on the rack. The room is really clean.

I can’t change the intensity of the fan, it’s either super strong or switch off.

Staff are very friendly! Good hot water shower and nice private rooms for a great price. Laundry service available for a small fee. Good breakfast included as well!

Such a lovely, peaceful place! A lovely family running it, so helpful, they kept my bags safe when I went trekking. Decent shower, hot water, lovely roof terrace. will definitely be back on my next visit to pokhara.

Very nice stay. Harry and his family are super friendly and will help you with everything you need. We had some problem with toilet flushing irregularly, but they promised to fix it.

Harry and his family are really kind and helpful. We were able to get the room earlier when we arrived to the city; they were really flexible with all our schedules during our stay. The house is near lakeside and all interest points. Harry helped us with our trekking permits and gave us many useful advises for it: paths, guest houses, transports... We had a wonderful time in Pokhara and during the trek thanks to his help; a plus are his wife's fabulous banana pancakes!

The host and his wife were very friendly and kind. Rooms were clean and beds are comfy. Breakfast was very nice with several options available. In terms of location, its a short walk to the lake and pretty quiet, which was perfect as it tends to get noisy at night the closer you are to the lake. Excellent value for money.

Location, room and staff. The owners bent over backwards to help me make the final preparations for my trek. I gave them the dirty clothes and within a few hours they had it clean for me. they helped me get to the bus station and helped with the planning of the stages. especially if it hadn't been for them I would have had to wait until the next day to get the permit, but with a small commission they did everything and I was able to leave early in the morning for my trekking. Trust them: you will not be disappointed.
