Casa do Cabeço

Anfitriões simpatiquíssimos. O local é muito bonito, rodeado de árvores autóctones, castanheiros, sobreiros e outras. Silencioso, calmo, fresco e em comunhão com a natureza. Inúmeros recantos exteriores para leitura, convívio, leitura, meditação. os dois cães são grandes, lindíssimos e muito afetuosos. As instalações foram muito do nosso agrado pois também partilhamos os gosto por móveis e objetos antigos e rústicos.

Nada a assinalar. O wase levou-nos a cometer um erro que nos levou por caminhos estreitos por isso usem o google maps

Adorei tudo. Limpeza, conforto, simpatia dos anfitriões, beleza da quinta, decoração da casa. Ótimo pequeno almoço, no quintal, na companhia dos amigos caninos.

Da recepção da Marta e do Iker, foi como estar em casa. Uma estafia tao relaxante, so se houve os pássaros. Marta e Iker sabem cuidar de si como se fossem familiares. Eu recomendo Tondela pela sua bela natureza e riachos e trilhas. E dos cães bem carinhosos umas fofuras.

Nous avons aimé l'accueil chaleureux et la bienveillance de Marta et Iker, ils sont adorables. Le menu du soir préparé par leurs soins était vraiment délicieux. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et bien varié, avec des produits maison et locaux. La maison ainsi que le jardin sont très agréables et bien décorés avec goût. C'était parfait!

Sehr familiär, man wird verwöhnt, alles sauber trotz 2 Hunden, Fahrräder können im geschlossenen Garten deponiert werden.

A localização não é o principal argumento deste alojamento. Mas tem outros. O edifício é engraçado, o conforto é bom para uma estadia curta, a limpeza é irrepreensível, o pequeno almoço é excelente e, acima de tudo, a simpatia e a disponibilidade dos proprietários são deveras cativantes. Ah, e dois cães amorosos!

O acolhimento dos donos foi algo de excelência, o cuidado que colocam em cada detalhe transforma a estadia num momento pacífico e acolhedor, tratam-nos como se fôssemos família.

What a fabulous experience, Marta and Iker were great host of their lovely guesthouse in a peaceful part of town. The grounds and rooms were wonderful. We were treated to a tea in their gardens upon arrival, a nice touch. We opted to stay in for a home made dinner and we are glad we did, one of the best meals and experience of our vacation. Breakfast was great. Marta and Iker were the best!

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Adorámos tudo. A casa é linda, a decoração um mimo. Os jardins são magníficos. A Marta e o Ikar são uma simpatia e fazem tudo para que a estadia seja memorável. E foi. Acho que dormi no quarto mais lindo de sempre. O pequeno almoço outro mimo. Mais um pequeno paraíso que tivemos a sorte de encontrar. Ah, e uma palavra para os dois cães: super engraçados.

La paz que se respiraba, el espacio era precioso, la ubicación inmejorable, Marta e Iker súper majos y atentos, y sus dos “perritos” un amor. Estamos deseando volver!

Immer frische Brötchen, Wurst. Käse. Marmelade, Orangensaft, Joghurt und etwas Süßes. Eier wurden frisch gemacht. Mehr kann man wirklich nicht erwarten.

Amazing. What a fantastic respitre of serenity andf calm. I reallt neeed a good nights's sleep and the couple who run the hotel were able to help me out in every way. Amazing -really amazing breakfast! Definitely recommended!

Gostamos de tudo. Espaços bem decorados e limpos. Excelente pequeno-almoço. Anfitriões muito simpáticos e prestaveis. Localização excepcional no meio da montanha. Uma experiência única, ver o nascer do sol da janela do quarto. Objetos antigos espalhados pela casa que me fizeram recordar a minha infância.

A simpatia dos anfitriões e o extremo cuidado com que recebem os hóspedes. Espaço muito bem cuidado e pequeno almoço a repetir. Agradecimento a Marta ao Iker.

Lovingly styled, quality products from the bedding to bathroom amenities and delightful communal spaces both inside and outside. The hosts are absolute gems and the delicious continental breakfast with home made jams, eggs also cooked to your liking just topped off an A Grade stay.

The whole place is just like a dream. The location is absolutely beautiful in between the hills, the house itself is stunning and well taken care of. Everything is spotless clean and the hospitality offered by Iker and Martha was sublime. The food they made was amazing and they even helped me arrange a surprise gift for my partner.

We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, homemade jam, and lemonade. A place to return to!

Sejour exceptionnel ! Les hôtes sont vraiment très bienveillants et sympathiques. Nous avons pu discuter en anglais. Le cadre est vraiment très beau, belle vue depuis la chambre. C'est un endroit calme et serein, parfait pour des vacances en toute tranquilité. Le petit déjeuner était très très bon, avec des produits locaux. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Marta and Ikar were the most perfect and accommodating hosts for this historic and scenic B&B hotel. As owner/operators they made sure we were comfortable and catered too. Local jams and honey and and extra personal touches made this stay worthwhile. Slightly remote but close enough for a 15 minute drive into Tondela. We would definitely stay here again.

Para quem gosta de natureza, este alojamento é um local ideal. Em torno, há bastante atividades a fazer: praias fluviais, vistas, trilhos e museu etc. A cama é muito confortável (não é de molas -adoramos isso). O pequeno almoço é muito bem servido (obrigada Marta pela gentileza de nos servir a limonada sem açúcar..rsrs). Além dos anfitriões, há 2 cães muito amigáveis no alojamento. A simpatia de Marta e lker é excepcional.

A b s o l u t e l y e v e r y t h i n g! You can feel the love of owners to everything here - house, guests, food and everything they do. The place is so nice we asked to stay longer, it is calm, has a lot of shade for hot days and things to do around. Absolute gem, best place we stayed during our 2 week trip in Portugal.

The staff and the building, old but properly kept - very pitoresc.

I understood exactly as it came out - the bathroom was not in the room (although for private use). Not a big issue considering the house, but nowadays we are used to always have the bathroom in the room.

Casa do Cabeço is a unique place. Beautiful and cozy place. We loved the countryside feel, the beautiful guillotine windows, the morning light entering the wood floored room, a lovely garden which we still have to see in spring... Dylan and Dexter's welcoming all well. The hosts were very kind and helpful, always ready to assist any need. Definitely stopping by again.

I liked everything.

This is the most amazing place we stayed in Portugal. A grand old, but modernized, home, Marta and Iker have created a welcoming, pleasant and restful place to explore and rejuvenate while on a tour of Portugal. Whether hiking mountain trails or just reading a book and listening to your playlist, this is the place. Breakfast is great. As an extra special item Iker is a chef and cooks up exquisite dinners. There are some good restaurants in the area too. This is a place where you can see and experience the real Portugal.

The home and the grounds were beautiful, located on a quiet and secluded lot. The hosts helped us feel very welcome and at home during our stay. The room was more than large enough for 2 people. The bathroom was very modern and I just loved the glass bottles the shampoo and body gel came in. You can tell they thought about the presentation of even the tiniest details. The breakfast was amazing! We would stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Casa, the owners could not be any friendlier and accommodating. They are located on a quiet street, but you can reach everything by rental car. You can relax in the beautiful garden, enjoy THE BEST breakfast or ask the owners what's in the neighbourhood to see or to do. Slept like a baby, large room, and a large bathroom, could not have been better.

Die Gastgeber, das Haus, unser Zimmer, das Frühstück, der Garten - alles ist einfach nur unglaublich - wir haben uns selten auf unseren Reisen so wohl gefühlt. Marta und Iker sind freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und will gar nicht mehr gehen. Das Haus ist perfekt renoviert und dekoriert und könnte glatt für einen Schöner-Wohnen-Artikel posieren. Jedes Detail scheint mühelos perfekt zu passen und auch unser Zimmer war liebevoll ausgestattet - das Bad war großzügig und modern - alles war einwandfrei in Schuss und tadellos sauber. Zur Begrüßung gab es Kaffee und Kuchen im großen Garten, das Frühstück wurde im Wohn-Essbereich serviert - frisch gepresster Orangensaft, hausgemachte Marmeladen, Semmeln, Rührei, Wurst und Käse - einfach nur lecker. Nur schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten ...

We stayed in a beautiful old house, renovated with taste and surrounded by a green garden with many cosy corners to enjoy the landscape. Optional Iker makes you a 3 course diner ( previous chef cook). According to the weather, the breakfast is out- or indoor.

Wonderful hosts in a very well kept B&B. The breakfast was amazing and the hospitality so warm and gracious. Loved out 1 night stay. Very peaceful surroundings and garden away from other properties. A quiet get away.

We really found peace and quiet at Casa do Cabeco. Marta and Iker are the most warm and welcoming hosts we ever had. The personal greetings and many chats always filled us with joy. We loved the great energy and will absolutely miss this place. We would love to come back in the furure! The garden was very well maintained and loads of cozy seating areas are created all across, our favourite being the hammocks. It was always nice to be joined by the dogs Dexter and Dylan.

We've spent couple of wonderful days at Casa do Cabeço. Marta and Ikar are the dream hosts, they've made our stay just perfect. Everything inside and outside the house is impeccably clean and well managed. We enjoyed the calmness of the garden and the privacy and peace that this place provides. The breakfast is really good, big variety and Marta's pastry is just so good. And like a cherry on top of the cake, we've had a dinner made by Ikar. It was a great experience, absolutely delicious. Casa do Cabeço is a unique place.

Iker and Marta welcomed us into their B&B and truly made us feel at home. They are kind and generous and provide an incomparable experience. So much so you feel welcomed as if you were family. Their property is truly a once in a lifetime experience. It was secluded and quiet and truly felt like an oasis in the country. The step gardens provide private enclaves where you can relax and enjoy the Portuguese countryside. The home is very well decorated and the beds and pillows are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Added bonus were Dylan and Dexter, the Irish and Scottish Setters, respectively, who snuggle up to you as if you were family.

Nothing, we loved it so much we shortened our stay in Porto to spend more time here.

Perfect place if you are traveling with car. Location is top as a base to visit the different attractions of the north of Portugal. Excellent renovated historic house. extremely friendly support - feels like family.

two extremely friendly dogs are part of the family. not a problem for us - we love dogs. But maybe not for all visitors.

This was an amazing home in rural Portugal. The hosts went completely out their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was very spacious and wonderfully designed, the breakfast amazing, and we stayed an extra night partly to enjoy a home cooked meal, made by the London trained chef and one of our hosts, Iker. Marta, did her share with homemade jams and delicious baked goods. Give yourself a gift and stay in this home. They seemed like good friends after our all-too-short two night stay.

Casa do Cabeco is a beautiful home wirh outstanding views. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. Breakfast each morning was a delicious collection of fresh breads, handmade jams, local cheeses, fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, and an excellent ppt of French press coffee.
