Peaceful and very calming environment. Food was delicious and the onsen was the reason I was there and it did not disappoint Staff also very helpful.

More than the hotel itself, I’d like to say that the staff is the best! Takahashi san was at the reception when I arrived and she is the warmest person I’ve met! I had a tough personal situation and she warmly welcomed me and hosted me. Also, she helped me with my personal inconveniences and offered solutions even if they weren’t the hotel’s issue (I had to leave the hotel before the breakfast time and she kindly arranged so I could still eat something before leaving). Her warm welcome made a huge difference in my trip as well as the other hotel staff which were also very kind and friendly to help me!

スタッフの対応、食事の場所や内容はとても良かったです。 夕食も朝食もそれぞれ、美味しく、食べ過ぎにならない量で体に本当に良いと思いました。

岩盤浴の温度がもう少し高い方が良いと思います。

環境十分清靜，一二樓都有設計空間讓住客休息聊天，非常舒適。 私人風呂要在入住時趕快搶時段，還好有搶到，雖然也習慣泡大眾池，但有個人空間也很棒。 入住時可以選擇備品的種類，很貼心也很有趣的服務。 晚餐跟早餐都很豐富，不用擔心吃不飽，令人印象深刻的是晚餐的飲料很多種，還有主廚自製的薑汁可以調成薑汁汽水，真的超級好喝!!!晚餐時段結束也可以自行到廚房裝飲料(可惜不會補)。 check out時有贈送佃煮小禮物，很有記憶點。

1. 接駁巴士很不好訂，一下就客滿了。但還好飯店離鄰近的巴士站不會很遠。 2. 飯店方很難聯繫! 透過booking.com的訊息或是官方mail都沒人回應...如果是人手不足無法回應，那建議預定資訊裡的【客人必須至少在抵達日期前3天直接與酒店再次確認預訂預訂信息。預訂確認信中附有酒店的聯絡詳情。如果客人未通知酒店，則其預訂將被視為未入住】這段就要刪掉，不要造成住客不必要的擔心。 3. 我的客房是沒有浴室的類型，因此也沒有吹風機，有點小困擾。

We had no idea what we were entering into. Had we known what a special place this was, we would have hightailed it from the airport to get as much time as we could spend at this delightful place. It was beautiful, luxurious, the baths and sauna were amazing. The attention to detail, down to the freezer pops that they had in the changing room, were amazing. I felt like a queen staying there. The beautiful kimonos, the luxurious face and body products, the beautiful design and the comfort of wonderful places to rest, read, relax. I love the special snack that they served at 9pm. I wish that we could have had the breakfast but we were to late to order. It was all good though because we went to a very awesome and authentic ramen restaurant in the town. Will I go back again? YES!! but for longer. I want to be a luxuriating queen for longer in this beautiful place!

Only the fact that I couldn't order breakfast. Also the person who checked us in was not the friendliest. But otherwise, it was perfect. I would go back here again in a heartbeat!

The facilities is quiet and spacious. The staff are nice and tried their best to help me despite the language barrier. The shampoo/conditioner were good quality and made my hair soft.

I prefer to have longer complimentary food snack time. 1 hour was not sufficient and I missed it. It would be nice if there's relaxing music played throughout the facility. It would be a thoughtful if there was a welcome brochure in English to accommodate the tourist.

Very comfortable stay!! I enjoyed myself so much, faciliaties are clean and cozy, there's welcome snacks and drinks in the evening and drinks at night too. Breakfast and dinner were yummy and the private onsen was great. Staff were very helpful as well and i felt v at ease as a solo traveller. Wished i could stay one more night :)

I wish there were ways to prebook shuttle bus to/from the suichokan for tourists who doesnt have a japan mobile number.

식사가 전반적으로 매우 훌륭했습니다. 접근성도 좋았구요 대욕장도 여느 다른 대형호텔 료칸처럼 북적이지도 않고 조용한 분위기에서 사용할 수 있어서 온전한 쉼을 경험 할 수 있었습니다. 다시 간다면 또 묵고 싶은 곳입니다.

엘리베이터가 없어서 아쉬웠습니다. 다른건 모두다 만족입니다.

温泉很出色，下雪天戶外水温足夠熱，有豐富的下午茶，有精緻的美酒小點免費21-22供應，十分大方的酒店，房間用品亦很到位，沐浴露等可以選擇品牌，早餐就太多了，每人一份固定2個飯團早餐外還有水果小點，樓上樓下休息區域食品飲品不同，但可以共用，大家入住要留意

I loved everything about the property. The facilities were amazing, the food exceptional and the drinks flowed freely from afternoon until the evening. The public onsens were fantastic, especially the outdoor one in the snow. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and will even organise transport to their other hotel with their private shuttle…great for when you have to take the bus back to the city.

웰컴파티 음식도 너무 좋고, 저녁식사메뉴도 완벽하고, 저녁에 주는 맥주타임도 완벽함. 음식도 예쁘고 맛있음. 또한 여자들이 좋아하는 모든것이 준비되어 있는 곳이라고 생각함. 편안한 분위기와 조명 눈내리는 바깥풍경. 맛있는 음료와 음식 모두 완벽했음.

중간중간 먼지가 조금 보였지만 전혀 개의치 않을 정도 였음. 또한 밖에 나갈 신발이 필요하면 직원에게 요청해야 하는것이 다소 불편하지만 그것도 요청하면 바로 준비해주심.

部屋が広かった。

I really enjoyed the various hot springs within the hotel. The public bath was never busy and I didn't feel like I needed to book a private bath. The food was amazing with free unlimited drinks! I stayed multiple nights and had different foods every night and enjoyed the variety. They also gave a ticket to see the night light show at the local park, which was beautiful and not to be missed! Staff was super attentive and even gave me a new nail clipper when I asked for one.

Wasn't sure how to book the shuttle bus to the hotel

It’s beautifully decorated inside, the welcoming staff is nice and patient, especially with me that I only know a bit of Japanese. They welcome you with drinks and snacks, then there’s plenty of time to go to the onsen before dinner. Dinner what’s excellent, the best one I had so far. There’s also a lot of amenities, inside the room and on the front door upon request. The room is spacious and the futon beds comfortable. Breakfast was also very good, there are two plates i think and some buffet. I will definitely go back again.

The private onsen didn’t feel that clean but it was a nice experience to try, the public one was amazing.

可以去翠山亭付费泡室外私汤，酒店提供车免费车接送非常方便。翠蝶馆自身B1的露天温泉也很棒，可以边赏雪边泡温泉太幸福了。

Such special attention from lovely staff. A real treat for me being the only foreigner. I tried all the food. Fantastic!! Easy to book dinner and brekky and private onsens if you just ask staff and keep asking. Amazing property. Felt so rejuvenated and loved every second. Nice walking around local area in the snow abd especially seeing the gorgeous bridge in jozankei. Easy and safe for female on own. Lovely dessert cafe only 5 mins walk away at sister hotel. And another 5 mins walk to little main street shops. Loved it all.

Bus stop from Sapporo city was a bit tricky to book and find the correct location but I persisted with Google translate and it all worked out. Definitely book the free bus!

I liked everything. The facilities are beautiful, and the view from our room overlooked the forest. There are common lounge areas where you can relax, and snacks and drinks are offered in the afternoon. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Both the private bathroom and the shared bathrooms are very well equipped with everything you need.

Beautiful, spacious and relaxing. Great place to stay with mum, sisters and/or girlfriends and have time to relax, wind down and spend quality time with each other. They’ve created spaces to eat and drink as well as places to quietly read. The Onsen is luxurious and calming especially when snow is falling right next to the bath.

大堂明亮，房間寬敞，照明設備光亮柔和，令人感覺舒適。 早、晚餐豐富，飲品自由選擇，紅酒、白酒，令人更讚揚是還有黑豆茶。 休息間的小食，咖啡、茶，自由取食。 館內人員貼心、有禮貌。

Facilities are excellent- includes 2 large lounge areas with availability of snacks & coffee/tea, board games, magazines. There’s also a hot stones & massage room. Food is exquisite in taste & presentation. Staff service is excellent. Room is large & comfortable with beanbags for lounging around. The lobby & lounge are tastefully decorated with art pieces. The ambience is very zen & quiet. Perfect for a retreat. We also get complimentary tickets to the Jozankei Nature Luminarie. Wish we could stay longer.

It’s a little far to walk to town (about 20 min).

非常完美的住宿體驗，除了預約岩盤浴的時候，同時段的日本客人自己搞不清楚規定，而跟我有小辯論外，其餘的一切都很完美，有點後悔沒早點入住，因為旅館有太多能體驗的東西了！ 入住的人能得到二見吊橋燈光秀的門票，強烈建議一定要去逛逛，也要穿保暖一點~ 床超級好睡，晚上還有小點心跟酒可以享用，溫泉也超級舒服，早餐也很好吃！ 來這邊真的很放鬆，下次還會想來住🫶 提醒退房的時候要繳一人150日幣的泡湯費喔！

溫泉很棒，設施很齊全，餐點也很好吃。酒店沒有很多人，各種設施也很容易預約，整體體驗很方便舒適。

早餐真的太精緻、太好吃了，一定要加購！(晚餐我們是自理). 接待流程很五星，3-5點有happy hour 享用小點心跟酒精飲料.咖啡..等，2F休息區有雜誌.各式茶飲可泡，記得預約熱石spa很舒服. sauna也很棒. 整體環境很舒適讓人充分感到放鬆.

Everything, It was perfect. So relaxing. I hope I was one day more for enjoying myself. So so good and the staff and the food very very good.

Only for saying something "bad"... Is that they have a shuttle bus for free from sapporo but I tried to write them for reservation 2-3 weeks in advanced by email ( emaila, from 3 different ways) but they didn't reply. For people that don't live in Japan we cannot call by telephone. My Japanese friend call them 2-3 days before, when I meet her and they asked her was fully booked. So was a little bit disappointing.

I was very satisfied with the full range of services offered in this cozy facility. The beautifully presented meals, the professional and friendly front desk staff, the well-trained service team, and the spa facilities were all excellent. Highly recommended for solo travelers in need of a refreshing getaway.

The onsen, rooms and common spaces are beautifully designed and decorated. Even after two days, I felt incredibly relaxed. There's a private bath which you can reserve for your group. Each day from 3 - 5 pm, there is free afternoon tea with sparkling wine available. Also, from 9 - 10 pm each day, there are snacks, sweets, tea, coffee and a variety of alcohol available for free in the lounge. Netflix is available. The staff are very accommodating and respectful.

The room was comfortable and large. The staff explained in detail the facilities of this hotel. Free cakes and snacks available in happy hours. Round-the-clock free drinks were also available in the lobby. I particularly appreciated the delicious dinner and breakfast provided. Very yummy! I arrived at Joshankei at 1230 by the free shuttle bus. We were brought to another hotel [第一寶亭留翠山亭] of the same group to enjoy the free drinks, message chairs, reading room in the lounge area. Our luggage was stored in this hotel until another shuttle van brought us to Suichokan right before 3pm. It was easy and relaxing to spend those 2 hours.

It will be perfect if bathroom is available in the guest room.

Everything. The staff were incredible. The baths were fantastic, I especially liked the outdoor one. The food was amazing and there were lots of snacks available at set times and teas and coffees available 24/7 on both floors. I also booked a private bath and the hot marble (?) floor 'bed' for no extra cost. Excellent location for getting to the free foot baths/shrines/parks/bridge. When you check in you can choose a small colour canvas to customise your room and you get to pick from four different types of sampoos etc. I find Japan does really cover the small details like these well in hotels, but this place went the extra mile. It is incredible value for money and I recommend half board as well as the meals were delicious. Dining at dinner felt like a special event (in comfy Yukata). The app said communal bathroom, but it means communal shower rooms (in the baths). You get your own fancy Japanese toilet. They also run a free shuttle bus from Sapporo and back. I really liked that it was a females only.. Sorry if there are any spelling errors, I got nail extensions in Tokyo and I'm not used to them yet.

I'd originally written absolutely nothing, but actually there is a bit in the policy that says you have to reconfirm at least 3 days before you arrive. I booked it 2 days before I arrived. I don't have a Japanese SIM so I couldn't call. I didn't receive a response to my messages or email. So I couldn't book on the shuttle bus through (meant to be requested in the special request box at time of booking) and was worried I would get here and have no room. Hotels.com tried to call but no answer. I did put a check in time request on the app in the end and received a confirmation message saying they'd expect me at that time. Don't let this put you off though, just read the policy better than I did and put your estimated time of arrival in the app to get confirmation and request the shuttle bus at time of booking as per the policy.

It was quiet and cozy because it was not very big. I was also satisfied with the breakfast.

It was difficult to get to the second floor with a heavy bag because there was no elevator.

こちらの温泉は二度目の宿泊です。女性限定で小さなお子さんも居ないのでとてもゆっくり出来ます。選べるアメニティーグッズも嬉しく女性を喜ばせる為の工夫や努力をしていただけてるなぁ、と感じさせてくれます。ウェルカムドリンクのシャンパンが美味しかったです。前回は感じませんでしたが室内が暑く温度調整がわかりにくかったり操作しづらかったです。貸切風呂の温度が熱かったのですが水で調整出来るようになってなかったのでシャワーの水を入れ温度調整して入りました。夕食の前菜が乾いていて残念でした。夕食時アルコールもフリードリンクというのも嬉しいです。貸切岩盤浴は温度低めですが長く入っていれて良かったです。和室でしたがお布団のマットも厚くしっかりしていて枕も高さ調整が出来たりと快適でした。翠山亭の温泉に行きたかったのですが時間が無く行けなかったのが残念でした。 一緒に行った友人も喜んでくれてました。

A lot of fresh vegetables in breakfast.

The hotel's carpet is very dirty and full of stains. Guest in the public onsen were taking photos, putting their feet on the makeup table to apply body lotion, and wearing shoes in the onset room - terrible experience. We were not able to book the private onset or the heat stone at all. The public onsen room was very messy, and no staff was cleaning things up. The dinner and breakfast were fine - but the buffet area was super messy and crowded, and you had to try very hard to get something to eat... Not an agreeable experience overall.

Fantastisk oplevelse! Dette hotel er i den lidt dyrere ende, men du får meget for pengene i min optik. Der blev serveret lækker morgenmad og en 5 retters menu til aften + dessert. Man har også adgang til varmekilderne. Der var både indendørs og udendørs onsen (varmekilder) og en sauna. Hotellet har også en del hyggekroge hvor man kan lave te eller kaffe og slå sig ned i bløde stole. Hotellet har en god placering i et roligt kvarter og i gåafstand til mange smukke seværdigheder og naturområder.

ラウンジのサービスもありますし夕食の時アルコールもフリーなので嬉しいです。一人で泊まりましたが快適でした。

My room was quite big for just me, and had its own private toilet/bathroom despite this booking telling me I would have to share one. The public bath has an outdoor and indoor section. Dinner was better than expected, and I felt like I was constantly supplied with treats (they have welcome treats around 3PM and additional desserts around 9PM, despite dinner being a full course including dessert already). The baths also have a little freezer with ice cream bars. Staff is all very friendly and patient and did their best to overcome our language barrier. I was very impressed with them, as it was the same few people doing everything, from reception to serving food.

I think this was just my own bad luck but there was some sort of sound coming from the pipes or toilets that woke me up several times at night. It oddly sounded like someone was knocking on my door. Other than that, the stay was great.

Private spa, hot stone, facial and massage options all available to book day of on their website. Outdoor public spa was amazing too. Man at reception clearly outlined everything in English at check in aw well. Both him and the brochure/website were very easy to understand.

Dinner reservations open until 3pm but check-8! Is 3pm onwards so it didn’t make much sense and it sucked to miss out.

Everything you need is here to relax and unwind for a well deserved break. Very pleasant and helpful staff and delicious food. Have a massage after the onsen and chill to read a book or play some table games. Must reserve dinner and breakfast, it’s worth it! Such a beautiful property for ladies, will surely go back again even if it’s halfway around the world.

I recently stayed at this small, cozy accommodation, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. With only a few rooms, the atmosphere was peaceful and uncrowded, making the public bath a relaxing experience without the usual crowds. They do offer private baths, but I found no need for one. Booking a private bath online seemed tricky, as the system was entirely in Japanese. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a welcome drink and snack, which I enjoyed with a lovely view. Afterward, I took advantage of their bath and booked a massage. The dinner experience was another highlight. The meal was simple but clean and comforting, and the free drink bar was a fantastic touch—offering wine, sake, and draft beer. It was all-you-can-drink, so I made the most of it! The room itself was not traditional in style but still very comfortable with cozy beds and comforters. The staff were friendly, though they seemed a bit understaffed. I had to rush to check out due to my bus schedule, but it was a bit frustrating trying to find someone at the front desk to assist me.

One downside is the location—it’s not very central, so you’ll either need to walk, take a bus, or rent a bicycle to explore the town. However, despite these minor inconveniences, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Great service and facilities. High recommended to female who deserve a wonderful break..solo non Japanese speaker is definitely no issue.

宿でゆっくりくつろげます。一人で泊まれる温泉宿は意外と少ないので、有り難い存在です。

The location is quite good considering the stop of the free shuttle bus. If you return to JR Sapporo, the shuttle bus will pick you up in front of the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, I think I will come back again. I love the food from dinner and breakfast, and the Japanese liquor and wine provided in dinner are also very nice. I enjoyed the whole atmosphere of this hotel. I would definitely recommend to stay in this hotel.

You could see the furniture in this hotel are not very new, but they are maintained in a good way. I don't think it will impact your feeling of stay. Another point for the private hot spring, you need to book it earlier and there is no lock inside so sometimes the person who is using it will lost track of time

I would love to come again with my best friend. There were 2 snack hours that were delightful, the dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented and delicious. A wonderful place to unwind and not worry. The staff were kind and answered all my questions and I was able to relax at leisure. I was also able to book the free shuttle back to Odori park and saved the bus fare going back.

夕食朝食ともに女性の好きそうな野菜たくさんのお料理です。天ぷらなどはつきません。最初は地味そうな献立だなと思いましたが、盛り付けも美しく美味しかったです。玄米ではなく北海道の美味しい白米を選べるとなお良かった。

Everything was perfect: the staff was really nice and gave me all the infromation I needed for my stay. The food was sophisticated and delicious. The room was big, well illuminated, clean and confortable. All the common spaces were nice and confortable to relax. And the onsend was really great!

Everyone at Suichokan was incredible- from the front desk to the breakfast and dinner to the spa services. This facility is clean, updated, well maintained, and the staff are stunning. I spoke 0 Japanese and they were incredibly accomodating. 100/10 would visit again for a relaxing get away.

여행의 마무리를 스이초칸에서 해서 더 행복한 여행이 되었습니다. 직원분들도 모두 친절해서 마음이 편했고, 분위기도 차분하니 사색을 즐기기에 좋았습니다. 방이 조금 낡긴 했지만 청결했습니다. 프라이빗한 룸으로 안내받아 즐겼던 가이세키는 맛도 좋았습니다. 다음에는 엄마와 함께 가고싶네요!

여자들끼리 혹은 여자 혼자 오기에 좋았습니다. 숙소에서 향이 나고 음악소리도 나며 곳곳은 아름답게 꾸며져 있습니다. 방도 예쁘고요. 쉬고 싶을 때 좋을 거 같아요. 다만 식사가 조금 아쉬워요. 저녁은 그런대로 잘 먹었는데 아침식사가 주먹밥인데 그다지 맛이 없어요. 건강한 삼각김밥 먹는 기분이라, 호텔 조식 뷔페가 그립더라고요. 그래도 전체적인 느낌이 좋아서 또 갈 것 같아요. 그리고 마시지도 진짜 좋았습니다. 다음에는 미리 예약하고 오려고 합니다.

너무너무 좋았습니다. 편안하고, 깨끗하고, 고급스런 숙소예요. 웰컴푸드와 웰컴드링크도 너무 좋았고, 어메니티 최고예요. 제공되는 식사는 수준급입니다. 맛이 최고, 건강에도 좋은 음식 같아요. 대욕장 이용도 너무 편하고 좋고, 제공되는 유카타도 이뻐요.
