Reviewed Dec 25, 2025No nos quedamos, tan solo ver la fachada por fuera entendimos que habíamos caído en un "catfish" de Booking. Las instalaciones NO son como se ven en las fotos, quizás hace 6 o 7 años lucían así.
Nadie sabía cómo hacer el check-in, la estancia de espera desordenada y sucia, los baños de planta baja terriblemente sucios y oscuros. Pedí que me enseñaran una habitación antes de entrar con mi familia y estaba completamente húmeda, olía a humedad/moho y a suciedad... Parece que impregnan el detergente en lugar de usarlo para quitar la suciedad. El aire acondicionado afuera de las ventanas se veía completamente sucio y las ventanas mismas en pésimo estado.

Su ubicación es una gran ventaja por su cercanía a la playa y a lugares turísticos (malecón y el faro) y para alimentos, así como lugares recreativos para estar con la familia. Muy buen hotel, recomendado completamente.

Reviewed Jan 9, 2024We arrived at about 1615 at the Hotel Careyes. Jose greeted us and checked us in. We got our key and went to our room, 103. When we opened the door, we saw a room with no windows. It was like a cave, claustrophobic. We immediately went downstairs and asked José if he would change our room to one with a window to the outside world, that our room was claustrophobic, like a cave, and that we were uncomfortable with it. He shrugged his shoulders, shook his head, and said, “ No, l can’t change your room.” He was completely dismissive and uncaring. With the help of our Google Translate, we repeated how uncomfortable and claustrophobic the room made us feel. He just shook his head , “ No,” again, and repeated that he would not change our room. He appeared to us to be not concerned or interested at all in helping us. Unlike the name of the Hotel suggests, “ Care, Yes ! “, Jose was “ Care, No, “ After we begrudgingly and reluctantly returned to our dungeon, I went downstairs and I said to Jose that I was very upset with him. He just shrugged his shoulders again and looked away. Needless to say, Hotel Careyes will drop to the bottom of our list of places to stay in the future !

Reviewed Feb 5, 2023The room was a really good size with a kitchen although we didn't use it. The bed was big and comfy enough and the staff were friendly, helping us to park the car and leave it somewhere we felt was safe and they offered to keep an eye on it for us which was lovely of them.
The room smelt damp, although I'm not sure if there was much the hotel could do. Being so close to the seafront and having the wind flowing in just left a damp feel to the room. The bathroom could've been cleaner, there was a bath but I wouldn't have used it. It was ok for one night but I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2021Es buena la atención que en este caso brindó el recepcionista del hotel, sin embargo no dejaré de señalar que hay ocasiones que no atienden el telefono cuando quiero realizar reservaciones por teléfono, y hay un masculino que a veces atiende en turno de la noche delgado de aproximadamente cuarenta y tantos años de edad que tiene muy mala atención a los huéspedes; además sugiero que sería atractivo que regresaran los desayunos de cortesía acompañados de la estancia. gracias.

Rente habitación con cama king y solo me dieron dos almohadas, éramos 3 huéspedes y al solicitar dos almohadas más me comentaron que no tenían más solo las que estaban en la habitación, el elevador no funcionaba justo en el piso 2 y mi esposa embarazada tubo que usar las escaleras. La regadera muy sucia en la coladera y el aire se apagó a mitad de la noche. Terrible...
