Koh Rong Hill Beach Resort

Perfect location

Breakfast was disappointing. We opted to eat in other restaurants nearby

Habitació àmplia i lavabo gegant.

L’esmorzar molt justet, poca varietat i qualitat.

Very lovely hotel in a really nice location. All of the staff are very kind and helpful, especially Chally who was always so happy and friendly and carried all of our really heavy luggage around for us and he helped us when we were slightly confused about ferry’s we had booked etc. He made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms and pool are clean. Very nice place would recommend!

Nothing

Chambres spacieuses, propres Petit déjeuner assez bon

The pool is amazing! Breakfast was great!

The beach chairs need to be upgraded.

Rooms were good pool

Food could be better

Great quiet location Near the beach Huge space inside

The hardest bed I ever slept into. A huge bungalow without any decoration. No atmosphere and no architect.

El personal

Por el precio me esperaba algo mejor.

On the beach. Good pool Staff were lovely. One young guy helped us with transfer s to Kampot

Value for money

It was the perfect location, on the quiet end of the picture perfect beach but within easy walking distance to other restaurants and busier areas. The rooms were comfortable, the food good and the staff were lovely - they tried so hard to make everything relaxing and memorable.

Not much!! Maybe a little more expensive than neighbouring restaurants, but that’s being picky!

Friendly staff. Stunning view. Delicious breakfast

Hotel is very good clean, confortable . Amazing white beach and staffs are friendly and helpful.

Leaving.... The hotel’s response is entirely false and demonstrates gross negligence, with no attempt at real customer support, there are no redeeming qualities in how this was handled.

***To the Hotel, your response says more about your standards than my review does. The hotel’s online listing is nothing short of deceptive, and our experience was nothing short of nightmarish. The arrival alone set the tone; the dock was alarmingly narrow and unstable, utterly unsuitable for older guests and families with young children. I injured my knee disembarking, and this was before even stepping inside the property. The bathroom was dangerously slippery, poorly designed, and unsafe, hardly conducive to relaxation or basic hygiene. There is no room service whatsoever, and the hotel is entirely unequipped to accommodate guests after 10 PM.... not even for something as simple as WATER TO DRINK or a snack in an emergency. When I went to the lobby to ask for assistance, I found the only visible employee asleep on a cot behind the desk. The pool area managed to further disappoint. For several days, the loungers were bare, with no cushions provided until I personally complained to the manager. When my family finally used the pool, the chemical levels were so overdone that the water literally burned our skin. Weeks later, my six-year-old is still recovering from the rash caused by it. This isn’t hospitality, it’s carelessness disguised as a resort. Upon departure, we were informed that our return trip to the mainland would be aboard the same large speedboat that had brought us to the island. That was not the case. The boat that eventually arrived was late, significantly smaller, and overcrowded. To make matters worse, there were no visible life vests or accessible safety equipment. Traveling with a child, I felt deeply uneasy as there were no safety instructions given, no briefings, and no reassurance of any kind. The crew’s indifference continued upon arrival, as they offered no assistance with luggage while passengers struggled to disembark. The entire transfer felt chaotic, unsafe, and utterly unprofessional for a property that claims to offer comfort and care.

very good hotel with superb view of the bay, breakfast very good and varied, staff always helpful, the pool is great by the beach, hotel is very quiet at night as it is bit far from movida in long set

pool has lot of chlorine

great breakfast, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom

Lot of insects, but it is a tropical island

The location is fine. The breakfast is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are huge. The foot shower in front of the houses is also a great idea. Overall a nice experience.

The rooms are a little tired. The bed is quite hard. The conditioner in our room was leaking. We didn't see monkeys :(

Tutto

Niente

An incredible location at the end of a busy beach. Lovely for long walks and swimming! The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and with a nice bit of variety each day, which kept things interesting over our stay. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. Another positive was the speedboat drop off/pick up directly form the resort's pier - made things super easy. A great stay overall, especially if you’re looking for that relaxed island feel!

The rooms would benefit from some general maintenance. Hot water was a consistent issue during our stay. The heater is very small and didn’t seem to function properly, so showers were often short and not always comfortable. We also found the food and beverages on-site to be quite overpriced, especially once additional taxes and service charges were added. Considering that a short walk into the centre offers a variety of delicious options at nearly half the price, they should consider being a bit more competitive as many people simply chose to eat elsewhere. Considering the price you pay, this resort could so a bit more with the general facade, upkeep, and small things such as hot water. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it!

beatiful beach

for the price paid i was expecting more

Almost toes in the sand with sea view rooms… and at the far end of the beach so no noise from late bars… also catches the sun longer in the evening so great sunset views. And if you ask for the resort pier you get dropped off on the doorstep

Things that bite! Take repellant and anti-histamine…

I had a fantastic stay at Koh Rong Hill Beach Resort! The breathtaking views of the ocean from the hillside location made every sunrise and sunset truly memorable. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a relaxing vibe that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery made it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Koh Rong Island!

Excellent location, really comfortable to travel to/from, calm and intimate as the last property at the end of a long, white sandy beach. The staff is helpful and polite.

The small cottages are poorly designed and are not suitable for longer stay, although the location is really well suited for a long, relaxing vacation. Very few and overused/uncomfortable sun-beds are located on the beach, especially compared to other resorts.

The pool and location were stunning. The rooms felt a little tired needing some updating. We had an ocean view which was perfect.

The rooms needed refurbishing. Cracked mirror in bathroom which had been sort of glued. Other minor things which would improve the look of the place. Outside our room at the side there was a discarded air conditioning unit which didn’t look great it could have been disposed of very easily. It brought down the tone of the resort.

Lovely staff. Comfortable and clean rooms with really nice garden views. Gorgeous pool looking out over the ocean with swim up bar, perfect for watching the sunset. Is a great location if you want a bit quieter/calmer, but easy 5min walk into the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend staying here !

Being so close to the beach. Staff were very helpful. WiFi worked on the beach. Beach bar b q was very nice and served every night without needing to book.

Sunbeds on the beach were bit tired and not many available. We were there at low season so during busier times there would be less. The pool was very chlorinated. The noise from the bars and clubs on other beaches carries across the bay and is often loud and very late.

Perfect place for family. Very quiet and relaxing. Will definitely stay here again.

None

Good quiet location. Very good breakfast buffet with wide selection (both Asia and Western). Nice staff.

Rooms feel a bit run down, needs some renevation.

The location was nice a quiet at the end of the beach . Indoor and outdoor shower - wonderful

It’s not luxury- but comfortable and just what I wanted on a Cambodian island

We liked the location of the resort and our room was quiet.

The breakfast was awful. Also our credit card would not work for payment but it worked everywhere else on the island. The only way we could pay was with Australian dollars but they did not want to accept them - they did eventually as the only option. Their credit card terminal is old and they only have one - other locations on the island had new terminals.

Location, beau long beach was great for walking, staff is great, i will come back and highly recommend to everyone 🤩 Beach massage available too, as bit away from noisiest part, but if you in the mood for it it's pretty close and walkable by the beach

I liked everything

Very welcoming resort . Allstaff were very friendly and obliging

Rooms a little dated

It was everything I expected of a beach resort in paradise. The staff is amazing, and the location was perfect for a relaxing time away from the crowds. 10-minute walk to the other restaurants and activities.

Was lovely kept very clean staff were lovely

Die Lage!

Leider sehr laut nachts

Posizione bellissima in fondo alla spiaggia molto tranquilla. Colazione buona, personale gentilissimo

This resort is in the most perfect part of the island, away from the noise and with beautiful sunset views. I loved my stay here and would’ve stayed longer had I not already booked elsewhere. The pool overlooking the sea is fantastic and the option to eat on the beach at night is a real touch. My beef burger was delicious and the staff were very accommodating and helpful with late check out & onward travel.

It’s not something that I didn’t like, I personally thought it was fantastic, but please be aware this hotel is on the edge of the jungle so there are lizards and bugs and noises if you sit outside at night

Fantastic location on longset beach. Wonderful views and far away from the noise but close enough if you wanted to relive your youth.

1) you could hear the people in the attached bungalow in their bathroom, not a problem for us because we had a family member staying. We had a garden bungalow. Perhaps cleaner and more sunbeds.

Perfect location food was very good

No swimming pool

Poloha bola fajn,vo velkej zajrade pod stromami krasny bazen, dobre ranajky.

Izby stare, zatuchnute. Vsetko vlhke, nedali sa veci ususit. Z kupelne siel smrad.

Quiet beachfront with nice pool. Spacious room and comfortable bed. We had one of the older rooms that looked over the walkway to the water which was nice. The private pier is great to have as other piers got very crowded.

Not enough lounge/beach chairs. They were all taken by 9:00 in the morning. The breakfast was okay but the restaurant was dead at night. The bathroom/shower was as large as the bedroom but a weird set up with a sliding barn door that we were told to keep closed. It shared air with neighbouring unit which could get noisy. Newer units might have a different set up and we would prefer those.
