Loved the guest lounge and the kitchen facilities, along with breakfast provisions. The grounds were amazing.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the sheets were age stained. The bathrooms could've been cleaner

I liked that they were trying to create a more communal atmosphere. Thus they could provide more to guests. A large kitchen. Plenty of plunger coffees, homemade jams, fruits, juices, fresh eggs, etc. The breakfast options are many for those who enjoy a large feed. The garden areas were very nice

If you want a tv in your room you would need to go to the communal area. There didn't seem to be any competition for watching however.

Booking. Com price was falsely advertised, when I clicked the pay button it charged me a higher price which I cancelled and rebooked with the venue. Have booked many rooms with Booking. Com and my partner sometimes gets cheaper price than myself.

The room was comfortable and well furnished. The property is quiet and pleasantly set among gardens and trees. The breakfast (included in the rate) was the best we have ever seen in a place like this.

B&B gevoel, moesten zelf ons ontbijt fiches in de gezamenlijke keuken, maar alles was aanwezig, mooie tuin, zeer huiselijke sfeer, was en plas kunnen doen, zeer aangenaam verblijf.

Quiet, peaceful place.

Needed a really good clean in the bathroom. Hair on the shower walls along with mould and the ceiling was covered in dead bugs. Also paper thin walls so you can hear everything from the neighbouring rooms.

Sehr guter Empfang. Kräutergarten zur Mitbenutzung. Sehr viel Platz in der Küche und Gemeinschaftsraum. Unterkunft sehr gut.

Eventuell haben wir eine Kakerlake gesehen. Uns hat es aber nicht gestört.

Breakfasts were amazing selection was A1. Hosts were very welcoming helpful with information around the area. The setting is very tranquil with plenty of outside areas to investigate and enjoy. Lots of helpful information in lounge and office. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Tranquility .. loved the eco environment. Barb made us feel very welcome and we loved the communal kitchen .. fresh produce for breakfast and helping one’s self . Meeting all the different travellers and sharing their stories.

We were in a disabled bathroom which was ok but would have preferred none disabled.

Die außergewöhnliche liebevolle Anlage. Frische Eier von den eigenen Hühnern sowie jede Menge Kräuter zum Kochen. Eine große Küche, Grill und ein schönes Wohnzimmer sowie Möglichkeiten zum Waschen und Trocknen (nicht kostenlos aber günstig).

Like most places in this area yih need your own transport- x Car or bike. Lots of parking. This is a stylish backpackers in beautiful grounds. Our en suite comfotable. The room we stayed in was standard. It had a double bed and a nice shower. What makes this accommodation stand out is the communal kitchen and lounge area. At breakfast, there is fruit (mostly picked from their own garden), eggs, bread, muffins, scones along with tea, coffee, butter, homemade jam etc. The kitchen is equipped as if it was your own where you can prepare and cook your own food if you wish. There is plenty of seating inside and out for you to relax. It is ideally located to explore the Abel Tasman National Park.

Homely, convenient location, so many wee extras - breakfast, homegrown eggs, homemade baking, fruit from the property - and Minos the very friendly cat!

Hmmmmm - nope got nothing

Room was not fancy however had all we needed. The shared kitchen and lounge were fantastic. It was nice using a shared kitchen as it promoted conversations with other travellers. We also had access to outdoor seating and tables with beautiful views. The breakfast was really great, fresh eggs, fresh baked goods from local bakery every morning and fresh fruit.

Es ist eine wunderschön gelegene Lodge, in einem toll gepflegten Garten. Das Haus ist liebevoll gepflegt. Man merkt sofort, daß das familiär, mit Leidenschaft geführt wird. Mit den anderen Gästen kann man beim gemeinsamen Frühstück über Touren und Erfahrungen plaudern. Zum Frühstück kann man sich Eier von den Eigenen Hühnern machen, es gibt viele selbstgemachte Marmeladen, guten Kaffee und alles was man braucht.

Everything. We didn't want to leave. Loved the communal garden areas, lounge, TV room and kitchen. I brought my own laundry powder as I have allergies so had to use the laundry in town. I was able to use Babs card which helped and paid when I got back.

Centralt beliggende i forhold til det ting som vi gerne ville se og opleve. Positivt overrasket over morgenmaden (friske æg, frisk frugt) og området omkring lodget med æbleplantagen. Barbara var glad, hjælpsom og frisk. Billigt alternativ.

Det lugtede fugt på værelserne og håndklæderne havde også en trist lugt.

This property is jaw dropping beautiful with a home farm feel, friendly owners, an adorable host cat, lush grounds, lots of sitting options (porch), a large furnished kitchen, well stocked pastries/preserves/cheeses, plush pillows and super soft linens. Even the aroma of the proliferative herbs and orchards is intoxicating. The owners are living the dream and they know it. Go join them for some paradise!

More lawn/patio seating in the sunshine instead of shade would be nice otherwise everything was perfect.

It was like staying with family.

Excellent location — while being near to everything you really get a secluded feeling on the wonderful property. Common room and kitchen very well equipped. Plenty of gorgeous outdoor space to enjoy. Our favorite was the resident kitty!

We loved everything! As an ecolodge no fridges in the rooms as something to be aware of but excellent communal facilities so wasn’t an issue!

We really enjoyed the location, only twenty minutes away from the national park and five minutes into town. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was serve yourself. Pastries fruit and fresh eggs that you need to cook the way you like them plus whatever food you decide to get from the store.

I would like to see more variety of things for breakfast.

Amazing facilities and exceptionally accomodating hosts. Really spacious rooms. The breakfast was delicious.

The mattress was a little worn but still comfortable enough, and the shower floor was stained but still relatively clean.

Super lieve mensen werken in deze lodge. Ze hebben fijne tips voor je om naartoe te gaan. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Je kan ook prettig in de keuken koken en verse kruiden uit de tuin gebruiken. De kamers zijn erg ruim en schoon. Een heerlijk ontspannen sfeer op een idyllische plek.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und durch die schöne Anlage geführt. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer sauber. In der großen Gemeinschaftsküche konnten wir uns ein sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischen Eiern der eigenen Hühner, selbstgemachten Konfitüren, Brotlaiben( kein Toast!) und leckeren Muffins zubereiten. Eine Auswahl an Tees, Kaffee und Saft rundet das ganze ab.

Im Zimmer gab es kein WLAN- das funktioniert nur im Haupthaus und das Waschbecken im Bad war sehr klein.

המקום נחמד. מקפיד על מיחזור וקיימות. נראה יפה. יש פינת ישיבה משותפת עם טלויזיה, משחקים וספרים. סמוך אליה יש מטבח בו ניתן לאחסן אוכל שזקוק לקירור במקרר או פריזר ואוכל אחר בסלסלה ששייכת לחדר. יש מדיח כלים. כל בוקר ברברה, בעלת המקום מביאה למטבח לחם טרי, ביצים מהמשק שלהם. יש גם מיץ וחלב וכן ריבות וכו' לשימושינו האורחים. האיזור הכללי פתוח 24 שעות. יש מקלט. כביסה ומייבש בתשלום.

המקררים במטבח היו ממש מלוכלכים וזה נתן הרגשה שהכל אינו נקי..

Schöner großer Garten zur Mitbenutzung und toller Ausblick beim Frühstück. Es wurden Eier, Obst, Gebäck, selbstgemachte Marmelade etc. zur Verfügung gestellt. Parkplatz im Hof und sogar ein kleiner Verkaufsstand mit Käse. Die Vermieterin sehr nett und freundlich.

Vermisst habe ich einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Auch wenn ein großer Kühlschrank in der Gemeinschaftsküche zur Verfügung stand, wäre mir ein eigener lieber gewesen. Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt schönes Wetter, so war der Gang zum Frühstücken und Kühlschrank durch den Garten kein Problem. Bei Regen stelle ich mir das schwieriger vor.

Mooi ligging en omgeving, ruim opgezet.

Erg koud in de kamer, heater werkte ook niet goed. Pasta e.d. in koelkast dus niet te smeren.

Een prachtige locatie, gezellige opzet en voldoende activiteiten te doen (ook als het regent). Goede rondleiding van de eigenaar en de rest regelt zich vanzelf. Prachtige tuin om in te zitten als het wel lekker weer is.

Met meerdere kamers kan de ontbijttafel/-ruimte wat vol zijn. Met name als je niet naar buiten wilt.

Very comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the large shower. Looking out to the various fruit trees and beautiful aspects of the garden. Liked the community kitchen, the fresh eggs from their chickens, home made jams and scones were delicious as well as the pick of fruit from their garden. The resident cat was very friendly.

It felt like a small paradise, close to Abel Tasman national Park. We were welcomed by a very friendly hostess.The lodges were surrounded by a beautiful garden, and the common room was cosy and well equipped. The breakfast was terrific, with fresh eggs and home made scones and muffins.

The interior of the lodges could have been modernized.

The host was extreamly friendly. Great kitchen. The commonal erea was great. Good value for the price. Highly recommand !!
