The unit was clean and had everything we needed.

The accommodation was perfect. It is well located to all amenities

The only problem is that the rooms are cold, but electric blankets made up for that. For us to feel warm, we had to make a fire. Other than that, I could easily give this place an overall score of 5

Cool until the fireplace kicked in. Bedrooms and bathrooms are cold, bring slippers.

The setting, the amenities, the comfort, the good communication from the host. The views, the golf. Proximity to the town centre. Everything WORKS!! GREAT!

The pillows could be more comfortable. Maybe some foam options for variety. AV is really good, but if I am being difficult, maybe a bit of a larger tv. 😊

The house was very comfortable for our group of 2 families. The kitchen is well equipped. The estate has a peaceful atmosphere.

Excellent home in a safe and secure estate. The home has everything you need making it super functional right from the get go. The braai and indoor fire place were perfect (especially during the cold nights in winter). The home also has an inverter which gives peace of mind if there were to be power cuts. Loved the location and ease of getting into town and visiting Golden Gate National Park. Nicola (the host) was super friendly, helpful and very responsive, even kindly assisting us when we had a change of plans. We would definitely stay here again.

The wall heaters in the room aren’t too helpful when it’s freezing, but thankfully the fire place in the living room does a great job at heating the home and the heated blankets are a godsend!

We loved our stay at Saints rest. So peaceful and a great location. The trails are a must for a daily walk. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen area is so user friendly. Loved the couch on the verandah for morning tea and to watch the birds and grey duiker visit. Our men loved the golf course and we of course loved the shopping! All in all a great stay. We will be back!!

The promixity to central Clarens. The appliance’s made it feel like home . Eg the Nespresso machine , dishwasher, inverter etc.

Some parts of the house needs maintenance. Eg. The bath plug needs fixing and the towel rail in the main bathroom. Pity there aren’t longer walking trails on the golf estate.

Very refreshing area to be in surrounded by the very best of nature, the house is a comfy and luxurious 4 bed room home fit for an excellent trip for a group.

Just a hint that the toilet in the Buffalo Room can not open from the inside so be careful not to get locked in.

Units are rented in the same estate and no control over wild parties and late night disruptive and inconsiderate occupants

Loved that the bedrooms were all en-suite, beautifully decorated, on a quiet and safe estate in Clarens. The fireplace kept us cosy and the gas oven and hob were such a help during loadshedding.

The layout of the house is great. The large kitchen island is fantastic. Really nice position within the estate.

The lack of some form of power back up. Makes it a bit tricky when the loadshedding is at such a high stage.

Saints Rest is well equipped holiday home within close proximity to Clarens. The house is situated in tranquil surroundings in a golf estate and has a nice view of the mountains. The 4 bedrooms are all en suite which ensures privacy when travelling in a large group. I highly recommend Saints Rest to a large group of travellers.

Very little. Would suggest leaving some salt, pepper, balsamic and Oil as staples. Planting some Mediterranean herbs in the garden which are low maintenance and great for cooking.
