Courtyard by Marriott Shunde Longjiang

The hotel took my deposit of RMB800 and my room rate was RMB550. When I checked it there was no possibility to use a foreign Mastercard so the person at front desk said that they would return my deposit immediately after they subtracted my room rate from the deposit. It has been 6 days and this still hasn’t been returned. Can you please help me follow up?

Quiet hallway where our room was. Nice comfortable and spacious room.

The lady at the front desk, unfortunately i did not get her name, she was really helpful and very responsible . She was on duty at the front desk on the 28/11 and she was also on duty at the ADD during breakfast on the 29/11. Was not able to said thank you and get her name during my check out as she was not on duty on the 30/11. Hope to get her name .

House keeping need to be more attentive. for 2 days in a row, the amenities was not fully refilled.

The cleanliness was not up to the standard. Our bathroom curtains had stains and looked like it has not been changed in ages. The staff weren't friendly. Really hated the fact that we had to buy something to stay in the business centre (especially as a guest) even though it was literally empty. Another instance, we had our package delivered to the reception, when we later received it, it had food in the bad like someone was eating something and left it in our package. Quite disgusting!

We will not be returning! This property certainly did not meet Marriott standards and a 4-star rating. The listing shows this property has a restaurant, however on arrival we were told it was closed for dinners. We were then told there was no room service, for then another staff to confirm there was. However food took 1h20m to come when it stated 40 mins max. My colleagues bathroom floor has rust stain which looked like large blood puddles on the floor. An extremely unpleasant feeling in the bathroom. There was also black hair IN the towel and all over the carpet floor of both our rooms, as if it had never been vacuumed for weeks. Breakfast resulted in our food being taken away 3 times before we could even sit down to eat it, as we tried to get replacement food each time from the buffet. For a Marriott property, and a self-rated “4 star”, these issues are certainly below Marriott standards and they should take note of this.

It could be a little more generic for international travellers. It was difficult to find anything nice for breakfast.

Up to Western standards, quite clean, doesn't smell like smoke (nor in the elevators). Room very spacious, area around is busy. Above the value.

So conveniently located. The staff were amazing, they go above and beyond to assist their guests. Junor Li was so amazing, helpful, kind and patient. Thank you for a wonderful stay to all and of the Longjiang Courtyard Team

I paid extra for this hotel as it a branded hotel. The service desk english was poor and also I was attacked by a series of mosquitos within a short period of time in the bar. Very unhappy. They offered drinks to compensate and brought me spray but I didnt expect this. Very poor.

Customer service, lack of english speaking management/staff. Poor insect repellent.

The hotel no longer has a bar and the business lounge was very poor and very smelly.

One of the staff was very helpful and friendly in supporting me in carrying my stuff to the lobby. Her name is Chitty Huang from reception! Thanks for your professional.

The cleaning staff was very rude and unprofessional. The room was marked not to be disturbed, but they went in to clean it without permission. On the other hand, when they opened the door, they did not knock. Two such rude and unprofessional acts occurred within a few days of staying.

slight issue that the safe in my suite was not working - would definitely stay there again. Bfast was ok.

新建，價錢合理。交通方便，永東旅遊專車可以到達門口；由順德港轉車到酒店也可。早餐不錯，附近也可以找到用膳的餐館。

A connecting room were given and end up the next room is so noisy that we can hear them clearly. Changed to another room, but at lower level which is even noisier. Then changed to another room which is better.

Everything is ok, except breakfast is so & so, the coffee is the worst, taste like water.

Rooms are clean, modern and good value. Close to local mall with cinema and mcds. Breakfast is amazing. English TV Chanel's are almost zero and gym is not up to par. But still my choice if hotel when in Foshan.

Excellent Service and staff and a very comfortable hotel and experience. If you need any assistance please look for Ken He as he is the most helpful hotel staff I have come across in any hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helped me upgrade to the executive suite from executive room which I felt was too small, once upgraded it was very comfortable
