We loved everything about our stay at arcadia and it might be the best place we stayed at during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. First of all, we booked this hotel literally 1 hour before coming, and the staff wasn't bothered; they let us pick out our room from the ones that were free. The price is great, especially considering the two pools, the great rooms, and the overall level of service provided by the staff. The location is great, as it is close to the best snorkeling beach in Hikkaduwa while not being directly on the busy street. We picked this hotel because we read we could stay at the pool until we left for our flight later in the evening. What we got was actually even better. We were able to leave our stuff at the reception and enjoy our day in Hikkaduwa. We had time to go to the beach and stay by the pool, and they were even so kind as to put a room at our disposal to shower and charge our devices while we waited for our taxi. Overall we had an amazing time, and our only regret was that we only stayed there for our last two nights in Sri Lanka.

Great Location to the beach and local shops, there is a market and shop on the same street which is very good. The rooms were pleasant and clean. The staff were amazing, very friendly, very helpful and always on hand if we required something.

Lovely staff who want to help as much as possible. Great pool and facilties. We had a budget room but it had everything we needed.

There was a small dusty smell to the bedding but nothing serious.

Jardins digne des contes des 1001 nuits avec deux très belles piscines. Personnel très agréable et attentif. Idéalement situé à 5 minutes à pied de la gare, dans un quartier résidentiel extrêmement calme. A 10 minutes à pied des plages et du centre-ville. Un gardien 24-24 au portail d'entrée. Possibilité de confier du linge pour lessive.

Logement un brin vieillot mais pas de problème au regard de l'excellent rapport qualité-prix !

The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. The room itself was spacious and clean with all the amenities you would expect to find in a room of its type.

It would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities within the room. You can ask at reception for these but it's always nice to be able to make your own.

Magnifique établissement à 10 minutes à pied de la plage. Le jardin et les piscines sont incroyables. Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits suite à l'annulation de notre vol de retour. Anita et son personnel ont été extrêmement gentils et nous ont rendu service. Super rapport qualité prix. Nous recommandons à 100%!

This place was one of the best we had during our stay in Srí Lanka. The swimming pools in a beautiful garden were a great refreshment during hot days. We needed to stay much longer due to a conflict in Middle East which was no problem, the personnel was very kind and really helpful.Thank you!

Where do I start? When arriving we were greeted with good energy and smiles all round. The staff can’t be faulted at all, taking care of us in any circumstance, and they make you feel the upmost comfortability! The pools are fantastic and very clean, the gardens and little water fountains are idyllic! Location is peaceful and the rooms are equally at ease! Don’t be a fool, book with confidence!

Breakfast was not included, but good when we ordered it. On the last day the septic tanks were cleaned while we had breakfast which was a pity! Internet was patchy.

Room was large. Property was quiet. Location was central in the town.

It is next to the only grass field in the town where Christmas concerts were taking place all night with loud music. Checkin was very slow and rather unprofessional. We waited 30 min even though they claimed to be ready. A cockroach was found in the separate kitchen space, which itself was dirty. The toilet was tiny and badly designed. It also suffered from water flowing in from the water tank when staff forgot to switch off the motor.

Bardzo ładny obiekt, z pięknym ogrodem , 2 basenami. Blisko do centrum i plaży. Bardzo pomocny personel. Pomógł nam zorganizować transfer na lotnisko. Miałyśmy opcję bez śniadania, ale była możliwość skorzystania z kuchni. Bardzo miła obsługa , zawsze pomocna. Chciałyśmy zamienić pokój ze względu na brak okien, ale niestety było pełne obłożenie.

Jedyny problem w pokoju Family to brak okna, bardzo nam to przeszkadzało.

Отдыхаем уже второй раз в этом отеле. Все отлично,персонал замечательный,решает любые проблемы. Номера чистые,убирают каждый день. До пляжа минут 5 пешком,рядом много магазинов и кафе. Если поедем еще раз в Хиккадуву,то обязательно выберем этот отель!!!

Jedno z nejlepších ubytování co jsme na Srí Lance měli. Byli jsme mimo sezónu a tak byl bazén jen pro nás.

Het was een prachtige accommodatie in het groen! Er waren zelfs twee zwembaden en de kamers zagen er piekfijn uit. Het is ook nog een vrij nieuwe accommodatie. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Niet alleen op de dag van aankomst kregen wij een drankje aangeboden, maar ook de volgende dag toen wij lekker aan het zwembad lagen. Wij raden deze accommodatie zeer aan!!

The staff were great, very clean room, beautiful garden and pools, staff helped us with any questions and more, beds were very comfortable, made a mistake on last review about beds being uncomfortable , I was mixed up with another stay, not this one, I am very sorry about the confusion, this stay is very good value, will be staying again.

The surrounding are very relaxing. The pool is very nice. There is also 2 pools. The staff were more than welcoming and extremely nice. I would recommend this place, the location was good right beside the bus station. The rooms were good size, pillows were comfy.

The breakfast was a bit dear, it was 8$ per person. It felt more like you had to get it. They insisted, but we were leaving that day and didn't need it.

Location was perfect. It was so easy to us to enjoy all our activities with this location.

De 2 zwembaden waren prachtig! We werden heel vriendelijk onthaald! De kamers en bedden waren comfortabel! De airco werkte gelukkig goed.

1.위치가 바닷가에서 멀었고 길찾기가 어려웠는데 큰 길가에 안내표지판이 있으면 좋겠다. 2. 우산이 준비되지 않아 비가 그친 후에야 방으로 들어갔다. 3. 맨발문화가 아닌 손님에게는 실내화를 준비해주면 좋겠다.

Suneth was great and made me feel very welcome and The rest of the staff are very friendly and were always available to answer questions. Arcadia has two different pools for you to choose from and you are a very short walk to the sea. My room was very clean, with working AC and mosquito net so I had a very comfortable stay. This was my first stop on my trip in Sri Lanka and it was the perfect place to recover from travel and start exploring. Hikkaduwa is nice town that you can easily get around on foot but also there always tuktuk waiting for you.

Het personeel was heel erg beleefd en netjes. Het resort is mooi en zelfs tijdens het verbouwen (opknappen voor het volgende seizoen) hebben ze het erg schoon. De zwembaden zijn heerlijk. Goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding.

Wow what a beautiful property! High sealings, two wonderful pools, and only a very short walk to the beach and town! I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family too. Just the most lovely staff so kind and helpful, we felt very safe and happy here. Exactly as beautiful as you see in the photos do stop by if you are visiting Hikkaduwa

We had a good stay here, the pools are really lovely! I can recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in this town.

I really enjoyed my stay here and ended up extending for two more nights. The room had everything you would need, good AC and was clean and spacious. The property has pools to cool down in and the owner and manager are lovely.

The wi-fi didn’t reach my room but the 4G signal is good so just used data.

Loved the whole place, it was peaceful and relaxing! The owner and manager were super friendly and sweet! Made me felt right at home with their kindness. The pool and nature in the back was really beautiful 🤩 the room had AC and it was spacious! Had amazing food at salty swamis just walk or take tuktuk everything is in walking distance and people are so friendly! Banks, shops etc. Thanks Anitha for the lovely Barley tea which made me feel better and the fruit on arrival which i asked for was amazing!

Nice rooms, pool, gardens and friendly staff Sunny and Isuru.

The staff were lovely and the room was very comfortable but the gardens and pool were exceptional. Also there is a fabulous bakery close by, Bun & Bread.

The only down side was that it is located on the wrong side of town, not a problem as its just 400slr to turtle beach and the better end of the strip. That being said, if we had stayed in the tourist end we wouldn't have seen both sides.

The property was large with two pools, there is nothing the staff wouldn’t do for you and help you with local knowledge. And can arrange trips.

Large clean room with net over the bed the bathroom was huge, there is a pool table in reception to use. The air conditioning in our room was amazing.

Heel schoon en comfortabel verblijf. Hele goede wifi, en Airconditioning 2 schone zwembaden mooi aangelegde tuin. Op korte loopafstand van de hoofdweg met veel restaurants. Ontbijt beschikbaar en op zich goed.. maar traag gereserveerd en verkeerde volgorde. Eerst Fruit dan na 10 minuten het Ei, dan na 10 minuten de toast en de koffie en fruitsap pas na 40 minuten... Maar zou er zo weer terug keren... prima.

Helpful, very responsive, and friendly staff. Cute place, room is spacious, clean, bed is comfi, the building where we slept was new (Nov24). AC works well, hot shower, clean bathroom, kitchen available to use with fridge and freezer. The 2 pools are great too, and the garden is beautiful. We loved it and recommend!

What an amazing place to stay. We feel privileged to have celebrated New Year with the owner who was such an amazing lady. The resort is in a good location, 10/15 min walk to the many restaurants etc. The resort is just beautiful and we loved our 2 nights there. I would highly recommend staying here.

Cozy rooms for the best price per value. Amazing pools. Nice kitchen area - although it is 500LKR for using the gas stove… Would be better to know beforehand. Really friendly hosts! We arrived to fresh juice whilst we checked in and a lovely clean, spacious a/c room. The pool area is beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing here. Close walk to everything and right by the station! Such good value. Highly recommend!

I love the warm welcome I received while arriving and during my stay at the Arcadia resort. The staff was always close if I had any questions, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a nice stay. The welcome drink was also a very nice touch. The location is one of the best. Almost right next to the train and bus terminal and in close walking distance to turtle beach, liqour shop and many restaurants. The pool and garden areas are beautiful, well kept and very calm. And the rooms are very convenient, spacious and clean. Def. Recommend people to stay at this resort if they are in the area.

Lovely place to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The two swimming pools and the beautiful garden makes you want to spend time at the resort. We had breakfast at the Resort one morning served outside, listening to the birds, just lovely.

Incredible staff. The manager of the hotel was so friendly, always made sure we were comfortable and went out of his way to accomodate us. The pools are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and great air con. The hotel itself is gorgeous with lots of palm trees and plants. Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big, clean, with comfortable bed. The staff are super attentive and lovely - they will try to accommodate you in any way possible. They are working hard. The garden and pool area is a refreshing escape from the busy Main Street of Hikkaduwa. I would stay there again.

There was only one thing that I would add - our room didn’t have any blackout curtains, so it was really bright the moment sun rose. Bring an eye mask. 😊
