Hikka Regent Hotel

Freundliches Personal und sehr netter, zuvorkommender Besitzer. Das Zimmer sowie das gesamte Gebäude sind absolut sauber und gepflegt, tägliche Zimmerreinigung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in zweiter Reihe nach hinten zum Meer hin. Es war- bis auf eine Nacht mit Technomusik - sehr ruhig.

Es sind Kleinigkeiten, die hier fehlen. Zwei Wassergläser, evt ein Wasserkocher - einen Fön habe ich nach Anfrage bekommen. Auch ein paar Haken zum Aufhängen wären sinnvoll. Die Lüftung im Bad funktionierte nicht , war aber kein großes Problem.

Das Zimmer hat einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Kurze Wege zu allen touristischen Einrichtungen. Sicherlich eines der besseren Häuser in Hikkeduwa.

Все было отлично, уборка каждый день, очень хороший завтрак (кофе и чай, блюдо из яиц, йогурт, фрукты от 4 видов, тосты, джем, масло, молоко), помощь от хозяев в любых вопросах, комфортные номера - все работало, каждые 2 дня меняли полотенца. Вообще, для Шри-Ланки это отменный уровень сервиса за эти деньги.

とても気に入って2年連続で泊まらせてもらいました。 清潔でスタッフの方達も優しいです。 朝食に美味しいフルーツが食べられます。　 シャワーのお湯もちゃんと出ます。

Very good hotel with very good people. Everywhere is clean, delicious breakfast, good rooms. We are very happy with the rest of this hotel. A separate thank you to the owner of the hotel, very attentive and good person! And the room cooled to the arrival, and collected us on the way breakfast at 4:00 am. Thank You. We'll be back!!!!

Super friendly people, best localization for surfing and great brekfasts. We loved our stay here.

Very good communication with the host. He organized my transfer from the hotel to the airport and was kind enough to let me stay in the room past the check out time . The breakfast was very rich . The hotel is very clean Location is very good , it's 15 min walk from the busy part of Hikkaduwa , 2 min from the beach and surf spot

From the moment we arrived we walked through the doors to a gleaming floor the place was spotless . We soon checked in and paid . The room very spacious and light big bed nice clean bedding and towels . Safe in wardrobe bathroom was large lovely finishing shower gel and shampoo.Anything you need or wanted to know they were there to help .I left my bag behind and they contacted me know that they had it . Thank you very much for your help and a wonderful stay at your Hotel .

Everything perfect but you should the rooms with garden view (seaside) if you want it quiet since the others are on the Main Street.

The hotel was nice and well-maintained. The room was spacious, with a good bathroom, making for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. The location was pretty good—close to restaurants and shops, which made it convenient for dining and exploring the area. Everything was also clean and well-kept, making it a solid choice for a stay

The only downside was that our room faced the street, so it was a little noisy at times.

Noisy side of the hotel that I had because of the traffic. Got bed bug bites from there to feets.

The location was great, the staff were friendly, the breakfast more than we could eat, the bed comfortable, the room clean and quiet.

We stayed here for 8 nights at the end of 1 month trip throughout various places in Sri Lanka and I liked this accommodation the best! Spacious rooms, very large bathroom, very clean with daily services, plentiful breakfast, amazing staff, excellent location - central but very quiet, peaceful vibe. I absolutely loved this place and I am on the picky side ;)

This property was a 10/10 from every perspective. Beautiful big updated clean rooms, daily cleaning services, amazing plentiful breakfast, amazing host, excelent location, quiet…there’s nothing bad I can say about this place. And I am a bit picky ;) This was the best place we’ve had during our 1 month long travels across Sri Lanka.

I loved everything about the stay at this property

Location is perfect. Beach is a 1 minute walk and the best surf break in the area is directly out front. Walk easily to loads of restaurants and shops. Catch a tuk tuk or bus right in the hotels driveway. Room is spacious and has a big balcony. Air conditioning and ceiling fan made for excellently cool sleeps each night. Breakfast is was delicious and plenty of food each morning. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the stay was comfortable throughout. Arranged airport pick up, helped with all logistics to get around the area and always kept the hotel looking immaculate. I ended up getting injured my first day here, and the owner was extremely helpful in getting me to the local hospital to be taken care of. Absolutely top notch customer service. All that being said, our 3 night stay was extended to 6…

No question at all, I really liked this place. So clean and we'll presented. Staff are excellent and most helpful. Exceptionally clean. Breakfast was superb.

A minor point: No TV in the room.

Owner of this place was very nice to us. He helped us in different situations ( laundry, money exchange, ordering a taxi). Every morning there was a delicious breakfast, so we were never hungry. As for the rooms, they always were clean and fresh. So this hotel is highly recommended by us.

Spacious room, hotel close to the beach, nice area in the center, fresh fruit for breakfast and great host. We stayed one night but it would also work for a longer stay.

The service was top-notch, everyone is working hard. The house manager/ owner is always at the desk and ready to help. Location is not even a minute walk to the beach where the main surfing is. Road and beach side are both surrounded by shops and restaurants. We both enjoyed our stay!!

The only downfall I would say was the sea view room. Since there are properties in front and the building is not that high, you don't really get to have a beautiful view. But it's still ok, I was able to see the waves from our balcony. 😅

It was not really freshly renovated and matresses were old but still for the money the value was adequate

Excellent accommodation, extremely clean, breakfast was excellent. Staff were super friendly, 2 minute walk to the beach and lots of choices of bars and restaurants close by. Would recommend to anyone. Although facing the road was not disturbed at all.

Great place to stay right near Hikkaduwa Beach. Very nice hotel with clean, modern rooms just a few minutes walk from the beach. Fast wifi, close to restaurants, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with eggs and fresh fruit, definitely recommend it.

Everything about this place is just amazing. The owner is super nice and always available, the breakfast is delicious with fresh fruits and eggs every morning, and the room is simply super comfortable, with air conditioning, a huge shower, and a nice balcony overlooking the sea. I couldn't recommend this property more! We even ended up staying one more night.

Really nothing

Comfortable, spacious and very clean rooms with AC, open-hearted host team, generous and delicious breakfast, a few meters of walking to the beautiful beach and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay at Hikka Regent! Thanks a lot 😊

Location right in front of main reef. Perfect for surfing!! Friendly staff and great breakfast!

I was travelling to Hikkaduwa from Colombo from February 12 till 18th, 2023, I was initially planing to stay for 3 days but I extended it for 3 more days as I was very satisfied by my stay. An owner is very friendly and his staff is usually on duty. So I was satisfied with a hotel, big bathroom, breakfast and very good location with a fantastic beach and many brilliant restaurants behind.

Very friendly owner, he helped me out about where to go and to grab a bus. I got a great fruit platter to my breakfast with very delicious fruit.
