Beautiful very large room with a lovely breezy balcony. It was very clean. We were able to get our washing done at the guesthouse which was brilliant. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went out early each day and missed it. However our host cooked us a truly delicious dinner to eat before we caught the night train. He was also really helpful in arranging a tour and with language difficulties

We had everything we we wanted as guests. The staff was friendly and ready to help at any time. The breakfast was a hit. It was delicious.

There was no toiletry provided. As short term travellers we it would have been helpful if the guests were provided with a bit of body wash shampoo etc.

Très bien situé pour aller prendre le ferry en direction de l’Inde (à 20 minutes en taxi). Zone résidentielle calme, à 20 minutes en taxi du centre-ville de Jaffna. On n’entend pas la route et les klaxons des bus (en tout cas quand on met la climatisation — qui fonctionne mais met un peu de temps à refroidir la chambre, qui est grande). Les lits sont confortables. L’hôte est accueillant. C’est propre.

Le rapport qualité-prix pourrait être meilleur, c’est un peu cher pour le Sri Lanka. Peu d’options aux alentours pour manger le soir.

Everyone we met was really friendly and helpful. Great location. Breakfasts were fabulous and staff were very keen to feed us up! Evening meal was delicious too. We ate in a cafe round the corner from the hotel too which was basic but very tasty. Bed was comfortable and a/c very effective. Recommend staying there.

Bathroom was very tired and could do with a deep clean if not refitting.

On a adoré cette guesthouse située dans une maison d’architecte, un peu à l’écart de l’agitation du centre ville et donc au calme ! La chambre est très propre et fonctionnelle et les lits confortables. Nous avons pu louer un scooter grâce à l’aide de Ravi; mais les Tuk tuk peuvent facilement être commandés aussi. Ravi est super gentil et il nous a beaucoup aidé et conseillé pendant notre séjour sur les activités à faire. Si nous revenons à Jaffna nous retournerons la, réservez sans hésiter !!!!

Personnel très aimable et serviable, emplacement calme à Jaffna loin du bruit de la ville tout en restant assez proche des principaux lieux d'intérêt, chambre spacieuse pour 4 personnes et très bon petit déjeuner. L'ambiance etait très familiale, nous avons bien sympathisé avec le personnel et avec les autres clients, nous avons eu un excellent dinner traditionnel à un prix très raisonnable. Nous recommandons vivement.

La disponibilità e la gentilezza dello staff, la colazione con prodotti tipici buonissima, la cucina in condivisione sempre a disposizione ci è stata molto utile per lasciare in fresco cibo e bevande (e medicinali deperibili). La camera è spaziosa e luminosa con impianto di aria condizionata perfetta, molto silenziosa nonostante la vicinanza di una strada principale. La posizione è comoda per visitare sia Jaffna sia la penisola. Io mi ero da poco infortunata a un ginocchio e ci hanno fornito un servizio di tuk tuk con autista/guida preparatissimo che per due giorni ci ha portato in giro alla scoperta della regione

The breakfast, included in the room charge, was very good. We stayed for eight days and every day, the Chef Ruban served us a different menu. All freshly made Tamil cuisine. Loved it. The Manager Ravi is very helpful and was always available with useful information. The location is also good.Very close to KKS Road where there were many small eateries and shops. Excellent location for public transport. The Maruthanarmadam Public market is closeby where you could buy many kinds of fresh local fruits.

The room was somewhat small for double occupancy. I later discovered that there were more spacious rooms available, but not allocated to us .

One of the cleanest and most comfortable places we stayed during our travels around Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious with comfortable bed. Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also appreciated having access to the kitchen fridge and the reliable Wi-Fi. Jaffna turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip — such a hidden gem! Highly recommended!

It was a nice guest house in a central location. The owner was great. Large rooms . Comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean too. The owner accommodated our breakfast request.

The family room door was NOT there; shown on pictures ONLY. I asked and they changed it. Overall an average stay. Host kept asking about money. He was a bit insecure; don’t know why! I think host need to be more professional and forthcoming.

It was a real pleasure to stay at this guest house. Clean and spacious room. Peaceful location. Ravi was very friendly, helpful and attentive. We used their bike to visit nearby sights. Definitely will visit again.

We received a warm welcome, truly capturing the Sri Lankan spirit. Ravi made us feel at home, being very attentive and even let us use the kitchen as needed. Ruben, the chef, made mouthwatering dishes which all of us thoroughly enjoyed and it is a difficult feat to please all 5 of us! It was such a convenient and peaceful location. I would highly recommend!

The wifi went down every evening. The breakfast is Sri Lankan vegetarian. I’m completely flummoxed why previous reviewers say the location is good. They seem to believe that its location between the city and the beach is an advantage. It is near nothing. I had to walk a minimum of 30 minutes to find a restaurant or a grocery store. As a result you have to drive to get anything.

Fine guesthouse located between Jaffna old city and Keerimalai temple and sacred water pool. Nice and quiet location, excellent laundry service.

We were really well welcomed and it was a real pleasure to stay at this guesthouse. Our host helped us very nicely sothat we were able to go by tuktuk to the market and do some shopping easyly. Thank you very much.

Great location, just off the road making it very peaceful at night. Good air con and fan. Great size room with balcony overlooking the garden and plantation. Good host and Sri Lankan breakfast. They also do laundry, which was a god sent in a city with no laundrettes.

The guest house was in a good location, the staff were helpful and the rooms were good. Our host spoke english fluently so that was great. He's knowledgeable and kind. The breakfast was good.

The host Ravi was very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The food was excellent. The chef treated us so well we put on a few extra pounds. We felt so well rested and relaxed and pampered. We felt like we had visited with old friends. Ravi Sir also guided us to the nearby sights and gave us the use of his bike. Will definitely be coming back to stay here. U can rest assured u r in good hands.

Just needs newspaper in the closet to lay down clothes. Otherwise everything was amazing.

Big room. One double and an extra large bed. Cleaning needs attention. Staff Kandiah looked after us very well. Ravi was friendly and kind. Over all 😃

There were faithful staff and so clean rooms.and also spacious wash room also.I had a great stay yesterday and had a delicious breakfast today morning. We could to stay like our home with our gang. There was a well maintained garden also.

This is such a lovely, comfortable place to stay. Jaffna hospitality! Beautiful house and grounds, large, comfortable room. Ravi and Kandiah graciously respond to all requests. We ended up eating not only breakfast at home but most dinners as well. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a beautiful spacious room with a balcony overlooking the pretty gardens. The fan and aircon were really effective. The bathroom was great with hot water! Everything was spotlessly clean! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, helpful with local information and arranging transport into central Jaffna. The sri lankan breakfast was delicious and very big! We would highly recommend Dayanithi guest house!

Parking space to be utilized more to get uninterrupted parking.

I stayed with my brother for some family reasons. it was very nice stay and enjoyed the surrounding and travelled to different parts of Jaffna and visited family and friends. Ravi and other gentlemen were very friendly and kept the place clean and tidy and served breakfast to our convenient. I think that I will visit again with my family in future.

I liked all but breakfast menu can be improved better with coffee machine and cold drinks selection and more fruits and cereals.

Wow.... what a fantastic place . So quiet and so relaxing. The cleanliness of the hotel is amazing . The breakfast served was superb, we could order anything that we liked and Ravi the host made sure it was there . Ravi was an excellent host , making sure the guests are happy and comfortable at all times. I have stayed in many places but this place was like home to me . I will rate this Hotel as 10. I recommend anyone to stay at this hotel the next time you visit Jaffna. Thank you so much Ravi for your hospitality . We will indeed come again.

There was nothing that we did not like

Breakfast was great. All you need to do is tell Ravi what's your breakfast preference the night before and he will make it happen. The guest house is located close to a good number of shops, restaurants and also market which you can explore but it is away from Jaffna town.

The bathroom is adequate but could be better.
