Gorgeous sea side bay window; lovely in room tea choices. Lovely character hotel with lots of wood panels; fun little hallways & inner patio. 10 min walk from the train, close to everything you need!

The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower.

Breakfast was very poor. Staff seemed to be struggling to cope even though it was not very busy. Some of my full English tasted terrible. Well below standard.

Breakfast was very disappointing

The location was great, literally across from the sea and 5 minutes walk from the main points in Cleethorpes. Staff were extremely professional and friendly.

Bed size was a little small in the single room. The room had the first floor court yard outside so you couldn't keep the window open in the heat if people sat outside talking. Couldn't open the shutters either as people could look inside.

The full English breakfast was not the best.

Lovely hotel on the seafront with ample off-road parking. My ensuite room was very good, the bed comfy and the shower, TV etc all worked well without any problems.

The room Terrible , I think it was 251 . Right next to a corridor door , stairs and lift . The headboard was actually on the corridor wall . No curtains just blinds that didn’t hold any light out . It’s almost like this room Has been a store room And made into bedroom , the bed was in completely wrong place . I booked a garden room , which looked nothing like a garden room , looked out over some chairs on a patio . It’s the worse nights sleep we’ve had in a hotel , and the room wasn’t cheap either . When people were talking outside the room (Gathering at top of the stairs and opening the corridor door ) it sounded like they were actually in our bedroom !

Ate in the restaurant late afternoon Waiter was great, Food was great and menu price was fantastic fish and chips was exceptional. Breakfast Waitress was lovely food again was exceptional.

Staff were fab, amazing view right by the sea, restaurant is very good and has secure parking. Room was bright and airy, very clean, bathroom immaculate.

Not the hotels fault at all, but if you like peace, don't get a room with a sea view. There are hordes of 'boy racers' that have modified cars with massive exhausts that use Kingsway Road along the promenade as a drag strip until gone midnight, and seemingly do not get bored easily by racing up and down. If the council put in traffic calming it would solve this!

Realise we booked single rooms but one room had a 3/4 bed and one with a small single. Would have been nice to have had a slightly bigger single in my room. The night porter James (big guy) was an absolute credit to you. He was extremely helpful.

For a 4star hotel it was very uncomfortable to sleep no air conditioning or fan provided I spent most of the night sat outside this was very disappointing I wouldn't stay there again through the summer months

The hotel is ideally situated for access to promenade and town centre, with extensive views of the Humber estuary and about 20 minutes walk to town centre. I loved the olde worldly attentiveness of the staff, merged with the accessibilities of modern day living i.e. good wifi, room tv and ample secure parking. A wide ranging food menu (breakfast/lunch/dinner) was available at reasonable restaurant prices.

As the World Cup football was in progress, maybe having a large screen set up in the bar area would have been appropriate for residents to enjoy (with appropriate volume levels so not to offend uninterested guests).

Lovely unique property with a great friendly atmosphere & clean tasteful decor. Lovely sea/ sand dunes view from the resturant and bedroom. Great location and parking. The food was beautiful and staffing team friendly and approachable.

The only thing that bothered me was the bed, everything was clean and comfy. Couldn’t fault anything. It was just the mattress protector made me so hot and I kept waking up so hot and bothered, so I opened the windows for a bit of cold air & then just noises with a busy weekend night. I think it maybe of been plastic type of bed protector, although I had one bad sleep/ night it’d not put me off from going again as I’d request a fan if I had the same room/ bed. Which I did not as it was late and early hours of the morning this was happening.

The staff and food were excellent apart from uncleared t-spoons and were I can have afternoon snack front room or dinner room. People at the front desk were very helpful. Let me keep my bag there when it was too big to carry around before my train was due in the afternoon. Will stay there again

The Seaview room was very nice and bright. Bed very comfy and linen very nice.

Friendly professional and helpful staff. Large bedroom, large uncluttered lounges. Excellent food and service in the restaurant for evening meal - good value table d' hote menu. Plenty of parking room and mainly very quiet at night.

Full English breakfast on our first morning was somewhat dried up - so we moved on to cold continental for our second day which included plenty of cheese and salami but otherwise somewhat limited

loved the stay, had a little radiator leak which we were moved straight away and given an upgrade due to the inconvenience, handled very professionally at that point. The evening 3 course meal was really enjoyed. The fact we had a sea view and could watch the ships by day and night was memorable, as we have been coming to Cleethorpes 40 years and holds special memories. Overall a lovely stay

The room we had was large with excellent sea view, but in the hot weather requires air conditioning, very noisy at night with promenade racers, so having windows open isn't ideal.

Location was excellent the bar and dining room were really comfortable and the wait in service was really good. The upgraded room (photos attached) was lovely with a sand banks view, the bed was comfortable and the room had everything you could need. It was a little noisy at night you could hear doors opening and closing, voices from above and as the windows are not double glazed, the traffic noise, at times was quite loud. Breakfast was OK the waiting staff could not be more pleasant or helpful.

Had to spend extra to upgrade as the room we booked was more basic than classic, in the attic and badly designed. With only 1 bedside table light and you could not see the large television properly from the bed as it was off to the left and even though it was pivotable you had to watch lying on you side, the bed was a basic metal frame. I like a room. I can chill out in after long walks this was not going to be it. The process of changing room was thankfully easy and without incident and the reception staff helpful.
