Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Uns hat es in Engelberg sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist sauber und das Personal durchweg freundlich. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Es gab jeden Tag Rührei und Schinken, Marmelade, Käse, Wurst und Jogurt. Säfte und Kaffee zum Trinken. Alles ausreichend und völlig ok. Durch die Lage, vis-a-vis vom Bahnhof der Zentralbahn, ist es auch Abends immer etwas unruhig (Lautsprecherdurchsagen), es hat aber auch einen seinen Charme den Ankündigungen zu lauschen. Der Blick genau auf die Skisprungschanze ist echt spitze. Sicher im Winter nochmal eine Zacke besser. Das Crystal liegt zentral sodass man immer in wenigen Minuten seine Ziele (Restaurants, Bushaltestelle, Kloster Engelberg etc.) erreicht.
Die Absaugung im Bad. Sie arbeitet zeitgesteuert, dadurch ist nach dem Duschen der Spiegel jeweils beschlagen.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Das Frühstück war vielfältig. Schön, die kleinen Gläschen mit Jogurth und Früchten.
Das wir nicht drinnen das Nachtessen einnehmen durften. In diesem Sommer waren viele Wespen und beim Essen im Freien werden sie angelockt. Gerade mit Kindern muss man sehr aufpassen, dass sie nicht Wespen auf dem Essen schlucken und dadurch einen Wespenstich in der Speiseröhre einfangen könnten.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026This was the second time I stated this property and I absolutely love it in the convenience. Parking is right there, conveniently right next to the property. The property is also extremely close to public transit, which makes getting around extremely easy for anyone who is traveling through the area. The staff are super welcoming, super friendly and always enjoy. The breakfast is also very welcoming, I’m not sure how to describe it, but you can tell it’s not one of those big commercialized tasting meals. It has a sense of we had to cook this in a smaller commercial kitchen if that makes sense.

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026Because it was myself, wife and 10 year old son ~ originally meant to have a double room with balcony railway line and Mt Titlis facing room but as that was too cramped automatically upgraded to a larger triple bedroom facing lovely Engelberg and Mt Bruni side. We didn't really need balcony but large double windows which could be open either side in assorted versions was actually much better. The mixed sauna, steamroom upstairs on 3rd floor was brilliant.
No air conditioning but that is expected in traditional alpine areas in Europe in cosy family run hotels. Lifts were a bit too small

It has private parking, a ski and boot storage room, and a very central location just behind the train station and a few steps from the ski‑bus stop. The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable, with all the amenities you need. Breakfast is great, and the restaurant is also excellent. The staff are extremely kind and always helpful. Highly recommended.

Temos um agradecimento especial a Beatriz, Fernando e a todo o pessoal que trabalha no hotel e que fala português “todos foram ESPETACULARMENTE” acolhedores, educados, gentis, nos sentimos muito bem mesmo! O café da manhã é fantástico, uma variedade de queijo e pães…

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026Check-In und Freundlichkeit waren jederzeit top. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut. Feiner Käse. Lage sehr ideal gleich "hinter" dem Bahnhof. Ideal für Skiferien. Skikeller mit Heizstäben für Skischuhe waren top!
Am Morgen beim Frühstück war es unterschiedlich mit der Aufmerksamkeit beim Auffüllen z.B. bei den Bohnen des Kaffeeautomaten, mit der Konfiture nachfüllen. Mal gab es mehrere Brotsorten, dann nur noch eine. Bett war für uns leider nicht ideal. Matratze sehr weich (ich vermute Federkern) und Kissen auch nicht so toll. Zudem hatte die Bettwäsche Löcher.
