Hôtel Résidence Montebello

We couldn’t have asked for a better location! The hotel was close to the bus and metro, making it super easy to get around Paris. We bought a 5-day metro pass and used it the entire trip. The room was perfect for my husband, our grown daughter, and me — cozy, comfortable, and just what we needed. The staff were so friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Having a laundromat right across the street was a huge bonus before heading to our next stop.

Was a great room for the price and had lots of space. We were on the top floor and there is no lift but just something to keep in mind. Everything was clean and in good condition, staff was nice. The only problem was a really firm bed and an uncomfortable pullout couch. Otherwise nice area and good location for coffee shops and dinner restaurants.

The room was perfect and the staff was really helpful and friendly!

Unfortunately it was the worst experience. The room was so noisy and bedcovers makes us itchy all night , also there were hairs on them so we couldnt sleep until morning. We were planning to stay 3 night so we paid it before but because of these conditions we had to leave the hotel after first night. we had to stay another hotel. We had to pay lots of money

Excelente

Hotel com boa localização. Deu para encontrar diferentes pontos turísticos a pé. Equipe atenciosa.

Was amazing to discover Paris. 2 metro station near. 20 mins walking to eiffel tower. Lovely place!!!

god beliggenhed, super service, lille men fint værelse.

Great location. Staff was pleasant and helpful in the end. When we arrived the floors were not just dirty but turned our socks black black. One towel and pillow case were used. They cleaned next afternoon, said they’d refund 2 of the daily 10 euro cleaning fee. But at check out I spent 10 minutes arguing with the staff on one of the day’s cleaning fee. Astounded they would argue over 10 euros and how many hours we had to sit in filth. I wasn’t even asking to be reimbursed for the night rate or our ruined socks. Otherwise good place for the money.

The hotel was great but we wish there was an elevator or an iron or hair blowdryer. My beautiful daughter loved it though. And my son was ok with it.

Bien et proche des lieux touristiques

Buena atención, muy limpio

O hotel atendeu as expectativas.

Also Fitness pur😅😉

The location is great. Walking distance to metro and bus stations. It's also close to the shopping area. Receptionists are very friendly and glad to help. The wifi reception is not very good. Couldn't connect to wifi in the first 2 days.

Excelente elección, recomendado

Nice host Nice room Nice price

Hotel Montebello was excellent. Very comfortable, clean, with kind and helpful staff. Beware there is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue, request a low floor. Hotel Montebello is in a great area in the heart of Paris, not a touristy area, which we really enjoyed.

We loved the walkable location of this property to most of Paris highlights. Close to wonderful patisseries and shopping. Close to metro. Modern features in our room while retaining the old world charm of the building. Loved having the complete kitchenette.

Good location, very clean, friendly staff. Perfect trip.

Hôtel très bien situé près de commerces. Studio propre et bien agencé. Photo conforme

This property is ideally located in the 7th Arrondisement, and is convenient to so many of the wonderful sights of Paris. 30 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Just under 30 minute walk to the Louvre. Less than 20 minutes to the d’Orsay Museum. It’s just around the corner from a great patisserie, grocery stores, restaurants and more. When my son needed a doctor, the front desk worked quickly to get one to come to our room. Though the room is not large, at least by American standards, it was adequate for a family of 4. We were able to prepare basic meals in the small kitchen. And, this was particularly helpful as the hotel does not offer breakfast. The hotel is not fancy though it is perfectly adequate for a family who wants to stay in the center of Paris without breaking their budget.

Très bien placé. Confortable. Accueil très agréable. Merci.

Location ,friendly staff, minutes to Eiffel tower.

Worst hotel from our trip no elevators unfriendly staff

I love the room and the location. It was really close to most things to see. It has a laundry in front and a really close supermarket a plus. I I’m in love with it.

We had a lovely 4 night stay. Location is excellent. Metro and large supermarket both round the corner. Easy access to all the main attractions. Highly recommended.

Great space Good for longer stays as you can prepare your own meals No elevator so bringing up luggage is difficult

The hotel is in a lovely quiet upscale neighbourhood. Just a few minutes walk from subway and groceries and restaurants. Less touristy parks and museums on the opposite side of the Siene. A true hidden gem.

Check in was fast and easy, hotel was easy to find, room was clean. Staff was friendly, they were also accommodating. My only disappointment was walking up so so so many stairs to reach the room with my luggage and at the end of a long day the last thing I want to do is climb 100 steps. Everything else was perfect.

The property had everything needed for someone who likes to save a little extra cash and cook their own food while on vacation.

Room is super clean and the street is extremely quite at night. So you can actually get some rest after walking around all day. Loved that we have a closet, refrigerator, stove and heated towel racks. Would definitely recommend to friends and stay here on our next trip to Paris

You get what you pay for and I don't mean that in a bad way. You're not paying 5 star money so don't expect 5 star service. Hotel Montebello fulfilled what it stated to be and it did so well. We enjoyed our stay and if we were to ever go back to Paris (never, lol) we would stay here again. Vanau, the area where the Hotel is located, is a fabulous area with lots of shops and consumer businesses.

We were a family of 9 and rented 3 apartments. They were all modernized and the kitchens were especially useful. Location was great. walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping Would definitely stay here again Pros: Location A/C Modern Kitchen Cons: no elevator (not that big of a deal for us)

The location was good. The property was clean. The staff were helpful. The WiFi worked. There was no breakfast option. There was no elevator. The cleaning fee paid directly to the hotel obviously did not include cleaning the dishes.

Great location, perfectly clean, friendly staff. No elevators so be ready if you have luggages or ask for lower floors apartments.

Very nice but very small room. The location is wonderful but no lift... stairs.

This property is very close to the metro and also close to a large grocery store. The room is very small with only a bedside table on 1 side. It would be nice to have at least 1 chair with a back on it - there are 2 metal stools only.

The property is very clean and attractive and front desk reception is very friendly. The only problem we had was the WiFi was not very strong and at times we had trouble using it. Overall I gave an excellent rating. Angela from Ohio

Noise . very noisy Lift . No City tax . over charged Transfer . good Security good Rated by cheaptickets . overrated Price. Expensive comparing to overall

Location was great. The room was great. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location, great rooms, and great staff. This gem is located in a neighborhood that does not seem very touristy. There are many cafes, brasseries, bakeries, cheese shops, etc. where you can experience a bit of real Paris. It is convenient to multiple metro lines and within easy walking distance of the museum of the army/napoleons tomb. The rooms were very well appointed and make an excellent base for visiting Paris. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was wonderful from the staff to the cleanliness of the room

Room is not ready at 5pm. waited for 15 min. Fine prints are not obvious from Hotels.com : no elevator, additional cleaning fee per day, and no washing machine, 50% payment 3 weeks before arrival, etc Pictures are also misleading as the room is smaller than expected. Good for 1 person but small for 2.

The property was immaculately clean, beautiful and very centrally located. We would definitely recommend. The only one thing that was a little bother was the intermitted WiFi, it was slow when it was available.

Good location, metro nearby and markets around. The property si renovated all new and Has a nice decoración. The appartment is litlle small and the kitchen needs more dishes and toaster.

Very clean. Great location. Well designed room. Easy

Location was great - walking distance to great sights. Room was small and shower very small for my husband but great overall for the price.

Clean and modern individual studios and apartments in a typical Parisian town house a stone's throw from Rue Sevres and Bon Marche. Very helpful reception. Car parking rec and prebooked nearby. Proper beds and very clean. Walk to most of south bank.

What a wonderful stay we had in Hotel Montebello. We were a family of 4 adults for 3 nights in a cozy room with a double bed, pullout sofa bed and a kitchenette. Honestly was a bit worried before arriving in Paris because this was a newer hotel with fewer reviews than I'm used to booking. But the quality of service, the practicality of the room and the location next to two Metro stops and grocery stores, made it a perfect stay. The owner helped us check-in early, carefully explained the Metro system and helped us with our million questions. He made our visit to Paris 100% better because of his thoughtfulness. The hotel itself is small and artfully decorated. There was a ton of cutlery, glasses, pans, kettle, stove, microwave, corkscrew (so useful because we dined in a lot!). If I had to change anything, I'd like to suggest a lock for the washroom doors and maybe a mirror in the bedroom. Overall, this hotel is a lovely budget-friendly stay, close to major tourist attractions with a friendly owner. Definitely booking again!

Great experience. Very clean. New furnitures. Effective service. Kitchen is very helpful when you don t want to go our or dave on your budget.

The location is the best part,Close to most of the must see places in Paris At the reception the support is good, The walls and floors are thin, so when some one walks around you feel disturbed Overall value for money!

A very nice and clean hotel. Perhaps the only downside is the lack of lift, so a word of caution for those allocated with room at higher floor.

The apartment is extremely clean and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It has a great location, close to metro and bus station. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Great location and excellent value, extemely helpful reception and room was nice size! Couldnt ask for anything better

Great location! The only drawback was the narrow stairs to the top floor. Probably not an issue for younger clients.

Near stations and 20 ministers walk to Louvre and entertainment

We loved this quaint hotel. It was very clean and modern, the rooms have kitchenettes and bathrooms, and it’s location was perfect, very walkable to everything and the Metro. The staff was very gracious and friendly. Would stay there again and have already recommended to others!!

Hotel was easy to locate, close to underground station and easy access for food and drinks. Very clean. Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful.

improvement needed: - no lift, not suitable for old/disabled people - wifi is really bad in my room (3/F) BUT! OVERALL! SUPERB!!!!

Our stay at Montebello was great! Room is clean and has everything we needed. Nice neighborhood and close to Metro and buses. The owner Bryce was very accommodating and helpful as he and his staff had our room ready early and helped us make a lot of phone calls as my wallet was stolen on the metro before we arrived.

Basic property, decently located in paris. Spacious room, could do with a few small extras - tea wouldn’t go amiss. Check in was delayed unfortunately, and the room wasn’t cleaned to a brilliant standard - the toilet hadn’t been flushed. Customer service at the front desk was great.
