We had the air conditioning unit just outside our window and it was not pleasant to open curtains and it was noisy. It was very hard to regulate the room temp…. Way too cold even when we turned the thermostat to 21. The sliding door to the bathroom and closet was very annoying and didn’t close all the way. Do there was no privacy. We had the same experience staying at your hotel earlier in the summer in another city. The sliding door kept coming off the track and you’d get stuck in bathroom and it did not close properly. Also if door is open part way and you touch it it slides and is a hazard especially for kids and seniors. Regular doors on the bathroom are much safer and make more sense eventhough they may take up more space.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Tha staff were exceptional, friendly and we felt very welcome during our stay. The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The lobby and the breakfast room were welcoming and so comfortable.
I wish we were staying in St Paul longer so we could enjoy more of the amenities during our stay.

Needing laundry soap to use the facilities, there wasn't any available there at the commissary. With kids on our trip, it's definitely necessary.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026This Ramada in St Paul was conveniently located to a variety of food stores and restaurants within walking distance. The room we had on the 2nd floor was quiet. The bathroom was quite large and well appointed. The shower head pressure was great. Out rate included breakfast, which had a standard selection of eggs, potatoes, sausages as well as cereals, toast, yogurt and the like. All were well stocked and tasty.

Despite paying through Booking.com, I was forced to wait at 2:30 a.m. for over 30 minutes because your agent could not confirm my reservation. Peter did nothing wrong, yet your policies put him in an impossible position. I have been informed this is not an isolated incident, which suggests that your company is aware of these recurring issues yet continues to accept bookings. This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the legality of your business practices. Your generic corporate response is inadequate. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly, and I will not hesitate to escalate it to the appropriate authorities to ensure accountability. Sincerely, David S Schwartz

They don't use bleach so that could be part of the problem. Once it was done, my stay was perfect. Super spacious room and comfortable bed. Very quiet. Staff are all excellent and kind.
