Grand Majestic Hotel

The hotel was clean and neat. Centrally located in downtown Kuwait City. View would be great if the windows were washed. Breakfast has everything you could ask for. I stayed 3 nights for business. Very reasonably priced! Overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend the Grand Majestic if you are on a budget. Four Seasons is around the corner if you are not. 😅

Although this hotel was neither grand nor majestic, it was a good place to stay and we were happy with the service and quality it provided. It is in an office (?? building and the hotel lobby is on the 17th floor, although you can check out from the ground floor. The lobby was lovely and every night we would enjoy the comfortable seating there with complimentary Arabic coffee and dates. Our room was not particularly big but had everything we needed, including a good shower and BBC on the tv. The view from our 25th floor room would have been amazing, had the windows not been so dirty. Nishima (?) the Sri Lankan breakfast staff, was very nice, as were the guys at security on the ground floor and the fellow who'd give us the coffee every evening. Their service was much appreciated. There is valet parking but we preferred to park ourselves given that we had a rental car. There is free parking behind and next to the hotel. Parking is very chaotic, as is driving and just about everything else in Kuwait. Although we enjoyed our stay, I think Kuwait has a long way to go before it can be considered to be be a major tourist destination for western tourists (however this is no reflection of Grand Majestic, which was a good and reasonably priced place to stay). If you do go, the Pakistani restaurant nearby the hotel is very good and inexpensive!

Very comfortable room, staff members were excellent and would offer assistance to any questions. The room was cleaned daily and the bed was very comfortable. Went to the restaurant and the food was very good. Check-in and check-out without problems. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Kuwait City.

Good location, quality breakfast, friendly staff, satisfying stay.

Bra service.

Generally good hotel, just 5 minutes walk away from Kuwait City old town. Basic rooms but very clean. Wifi was also very good. Breakfast was good and varied. The hotel is actually from the 17th floor upwards of a very large building. I had one unpleasant incident when, after checking out on 17th floor, I went down to ground floor to get my taxi. The hotel person downstairs very arrogantly asked me whether I had checked out and refused to let me go out of the building before he checks that I really checked out !!!! The service by all the other staff at the hotel was good, so it was a big shame that this person acts in such a heavy handed and arrogant way.

I was very impressed the staff, and how wonderful and courteous they are. My room was immaculate clean with plenty of linens to accommodate my needs. And breakfast was wonderful with high quality buffet and American style breakfast.

Everything went good except the reservation you charged me twice

Overall our stay was fine but there were a few disappointing aspects. Prior to arrival I messaged to arrange an airport transfer but the hotel never replied when I asked them to book it & we had to make alternative arrangements. The room & bedding was comfortable but could do with some brighter lighting. Our room had an adjoining door & unfortunately this was not sound proofed in any way. Whilst trying to get some sleep prior to an evening flight the guest in the room next door was talking on the phone & typing. Everything could be heard as if he was in the same room! The Caesar salad I ordered in the restaurant was nothing like the menu description & even when it was redone was not good. The waiter was very kind & arranged a fruit platter instead but it was a disappointing dining experience. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very polite & the location is good for walking to the souk & shopping.

The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The room is nicely decorated and the size is well. The view is amazing with huge windows on two sides of the room. Everything needed is available in the room with full amenities. Mini fridge, kettle and free coffee, safe, slippers, shoe Polish and shoe horn, sewing kit and lots more. Bed sheets are very comfortable and soft. Bathroom was very clean. I was really impressed and happy with my stay and will definitely stay there again.

It’s very good Hotel with very friendly & helpful staff , room are very good

The location with a beautiful view of Kuwait, covers most of the city. Peaceful. Gentle and courteous staff put an extra bed in the room for our 10 year old son. Shower facilities were great. Good facilities. Buffer breakfast was a mix of continental and Arabic. Was very enjoyable. Karak tea was highly refreshing. After a stressful week this was a relaxing weekend at Grand Majestic Hotel.

The hotel was good, standard for a hotel of this kind. About the restaurant: Normally we don’t like these restaurants of the big hotels too much, but here we were surprised nicely. We got something although it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner, and they had several local dishes on the menu. We tried the chicken and lamb dishes and were happy with it.

Very helpful staff at the reception, specially the evening shift and at the lobby. Hadeem was super friendly and helpful to get me around, and addressed all the enquiries and requests I had. Breakfast is excellent, but was very disappointed with the signature dish for dinner. It was not good at all, except for the king prawns. The hotel is clean, comfortable and value for money if you skip eating in except for breakfast.

I was upgraded to a high floor, with corner windows. The only problem was not being able to raise the temperature of the AC. I mentioned it at the desk. Someone came up, pressed buttons and I still woke up to 18 degrees. Convenient, I walked home from the sook. Lovely staff.

Fabulous hotel. One block from the main bus terminal. Very clean and spacious room. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! A few blocks walk from the mall.

Nice Stay. Staff was great and very helpful. Not a ton in the area to walk to but nice hotel overall

Loved it! Amazing staff - huge thanks to Waden who welcomed us and was available to answer any questions and to provide guidance. Very good breakfast, with a lot options to choose from. Great views of some parts of the city. Hotel is in good, quiet location, close to Souk and park. Took us on average 15min by car to visit other sides. Room service was tasty and portions were huge.

𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗!! In a country with 55 degrees temperature, we were denied access to the restaurant because we were wearing shorts!!! I’ve been going to hotels in kuwait for 10 years and never faced this! 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗!! Had an excellent time at this hotel. Special thanks go to the friendly staff at the reception Nimesha and Anton and the driver who picked and dropped me at the airport, Sonu. Overall a good experience and would recommend to others too, thank you.

Central position, nice and clean hotel; extra comfortable beds :)

Nice hotel tall building located in the downtown Kuwait City

Very clean and quiet

Good stay

My family and I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. What attracted me while booking is the location. Arrived almost 3:00pm, had to wait about 30 minutes till we get our room. Mr Ayman, reception manager upgraded my room from 28 to 35 meters so as to accommodate extra bed for my little son. Spacious room in floor 26, nice view to the street, super cold A/C so had to switch it off all the time. Toilet with full amenities, cold/hot water, slippers, ropes, safety box etc. Breakfast in floor 15: amazing buffet, great service and very friendly people. Valet available for car, a 1 minute to find my car in front of the hotel. Overall experience is outstanding. I have to thank all workers in this hotel. Special thank you My ayman. Highly recommended

Nice room , close to Mubarakiya Market. Breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Nice experience, very good quality, Mr Hitham very professional and respectful, House keeper Haneef and Anwar very good jop , the driver Ahmad and sono professional, The security Mustafa and Email professional , the maintenance team Hani and Ibrahim very good , thanks for all

All thanks and appreciation to all the workers in this hotel, especially (Haitham, Ahmed, Sono, Emil, Ibrahim, Hani, Anwar, Mustafa) All cleanar teeam And security team. An experience worth repeating

Very nice service and staff , the reception staff very nice specially mr Haitham very respectful and professional, security staff mr Mustafa and mr Emial very good and professional, house keeper mr Haneef very professional and his staff mr Anwar also , The driver Mr Ahmad and Mr sono so much professional, thanks for all

The reception staff is not that friendly, especially the Egyptian man over there. Breakfast is very bad, and the food is not fresh example: they cook halloumi and vegetables as a hot dish the next day, it will be shifted to a salad with Emmental cheese on the top, and the vegetables are not fresh and tastes very bad

Service at the front desk was absolutely first-rate, breakfast buffet was excellent, and the very nice room was immaculate. The *only* disadvantage of this hotel is that there are not many restaurants within walking distance, though I do recommend "Portion," the small restaurant in the same building as the hotel just to the right of the hotel entrance.

I d lijj oh e to thank windy from front desk and Mr. Ahmed who received me with a warm welcome greets at airport until Kuwait Nice stay and experience Wonderful breakfast at Istanbul restaurant The The beds in the hotel were very comfortable

Staff and services was good, breakfast needs a lot of improvement.

Nice property. Surrounding area is terrible.

The staff were very friedly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! The room was very clean and comfortable.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Clean, friendly and efficient. The staff was outstanding and the rooms were clean. The location was also very well positioned in the downtown.

Excellent hotel for the value of money. Nice breakfast. Nice staff. I only had bad experience on the amenities. The shampoo bottles in the bath tub were almost empty. I was in hurry and I did not request any additional shampoo.

Great new hotel, at a great location, with plenty of parking. Nice rooms and great water pressure in the bathroom.

Stayed here for days whilst on business here in Kuwait. Good location for city centre, clean decent rooms. Only downside is the airport pick up service seemed to be full which meant I had to use local taxis which I would have preferred an airport shuttle. Overall if you are visiting for business good hotel.

Very high class hotel. Great view of Kuwait City. Staff is very helpful. Food is tasty. Will definitely stay there again when I go back to Kuwait.

The staff was great. The hotel was clean and the services were good. There was early check in.recommended

Amazing staff. Clean and comfortable room. Very satisfied

Good ambiance great staff and was worth staying .. Been there with for atleast 3 months and enjoyed my stay there .. quality of serivice was superb .. would recommend it to everybody who is going to visit kuwait .. happy travelling 😊

The location and the hotel and the staff are great

In general its good. Nice place near to Kuwait City& old souq which is Mubarkyah recommended to visit that place.

Great service and convenient location

It was a great hotel with a very good breakfast. My only complaint was that there isnt a desk in the room, which is not very practical for business travel. There is a table but no chair to go with it. Otherwise the hotel was very clean, in a great location, and easy check in. Great view of downtown on higher floors.

The hotel is very good. The staff are nice and helpful.

Slow elevator, high price for 4 star hotel, no welcoming drinks and it was part of my reward

Didn’t like that there was no hotel parking and the available parking was in a public parking lot across from the hotel.

Excellent hotel in a good location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wish they could have been more able to assist in local tour booking.

I like the services and friendly staff. There is no desk to work with my laptop. Desk will be wonderful.

Good location and services. I liked it as a single.

Clean, kind, professional, supportive, the best service that I have experienced so far.

Perfect hotel.all the staff are nice and friendly. The Indian lady on check in desk is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Thanks to everyone in grand majestic hotel.

The staff are friendly and highly professionals. I would rate rooms as "excellent" if they have a little bit more space. Also, the bed matres was too high for me (about 65 cm). Everything else was grate.

A very enjoyable stay in a nice clean modern hotel. The hotel is just outside the main center but an easy 15 minutes walk to souk and short taxi to Kuwait towers. Views were stunning from our 26th floor room. Breakfast buffet was very good And staff were very nice. The gym was good although jacuzzi and pool were cold. Overall a great stay in this fascinating country

Although hotel didn't provide Gym Facility it offered a voucher for the Gym in 6th floor.

Staff are excellent! Main hall and hotel restaurant at the 17 floor is grandiose !

In walking distance to the old souq

Perfect

The location is good, room looks as same as the pictures online. Fair price.

comfortable stay

It is a very good hotel with professional and nice staff.

nearly new hotel so everything was clean and nice. nearby neighborhood somewhat dirty. and sometimes heavy traffic to the lobby area.

Everything about this hotel is modern and new. The breakfast buffet has "everything," and is delicious. The staff are all friendly and professional. The price is much lower than other high-end hotels. The location is walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend Grand Majestic Hotel to anyone visiting Kuwait.

The hotel is new, staff are very attentive and friendly. The entrance to the hotel is innocuous and easy to miss when you drive past the building, which it shares with other businesses. The rooms are nice if a little small. The food at breakfast was OK but the quality and choice could be improved. They have a system for ordering freshly cooked eggs, to your liking, from the kitchen. This will be a bonus for some but I found it a little confusing as this wasn't explained. The eggds I ordered were very good, though. Overall, a good hotel, nice staff and I am sure it will steadily improve over the coming months.
