We loved the friendly staff, the clean rooms and view of the Mekong across the roofs. We had a room on the 3rd floor, the 1st floor is street level (ground in NZ). Staff took our bags to the room for us which was appreciated as there is no elevator. The room had lovely quiet aircon, comfy bed and great shower. There is a walk along the river just across the road which was lovely. Breakfast is from a small menu but suited us. There are a few places to eat around the hotel. It was a bit further from the town than we expected but you can use grab or a tuktuk for a short distance. The night market is about 700m from the hotel and has great food options, live entertainment and stalls.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and hotel were spotless.

Clean and cozy accommodation in Chiang Saen. The staff is so kind and attentive, so that I stayed really comfortably. In addition, my room was fortunately faced to Mekong River, so that I was able to enjoy a (partial) view of the river. In addition, I was allowed to use a bike free of charge and traveled to the Golden Triangle Park with the bike. This accommodation offers several choices of breakfast and I chose the traditional northern Thai style one. It was fantastic experience.

The traffic on the street in front of the accommodation was heavy even in the late at night, heavier than I imagined. However it was not a significant matter for me. If you are sensitive to sound/noise, you could request a room not facing to the street.

Sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Zimmer sind tiptop sauber. Die Zimmer zur Strassenseite sind etwas laut. Ohne Probleme konnten wir das Zimmer nach hinten wechseln. Diese Zimmer sind geräumiger. Bequeme Betten. Frühstück hat für uns gepasst, es gab immer frische Früchte, Eierspeisen werden angeboten, Filterkaffe. Die Lage ist top, direkt über die Strasse am Mekong gelegen. WLAN gut. Velos stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung.

Très bien placé le long de Mékong. Un accueil très chaleureux . Un petit déjeuné qui peut être typique.

Le personnel très accueillant, le petit déjeuner simple mais bon et un bon lit et le Mekong en face. (Rue à traverser et il est là) Un 7eleven à 500m en allant sur la droite.

Assez loin du centre que l on a entrevu en voiture le lendemain...

Alles! Super netter Empfang und Betreuung durch das gesamte Personal. Schönes, großes, modernes Zimmer mit voll funktionsfähigem Bad, warmem Wasser und genügend Wasserdruck. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer zur Seite raus. Üppiges und leckeres Frühstück.

The staff were phenomenal. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and to support us to make our plans in Chiang Saen. The hotel was very clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent, and the premises was really relaxing, airy, and comfortable. Beautiful open-air terrace with birds and gorgeous plant features. Great beds!

The view of the river and location to food and markets

Bien placé, il y a quelques restos juste en face. La vue sur le Mékong depuis le 3e étage est très belle, malgré la rue qui passe devant l'hôtel. Tous les employés étaient très aimables et serviables. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon: fruits frais, oeufs, desserts thais au lait de coco, roties. Pas du tout bruyant la nuit pour dormir.

L'eau de la douche n'était pas très chaude mais c'est peut-être nous qui ne savions pas la faire fonctionner adéquatement.

Central location of the hotel, close to the center and Mekong river. On top, everything was clean and people were very friendly.

Big rooms, with well equipped big bathrooms, so hotel and breakfast nearly perfect.

Even if not exactly directly at the main road, most rooms are very much exposed to it. It can get loud during the night. Select an appropriate room.

The shower water was not quite warm enough for me. My partner and I were hoping for a better view of the river, but it was blocked by the building in front of the river. The TV didn't have any English language programmes, and the vast majority of what they did have were commercial channels, and no action or movie channels. A waste of time having it on really. Felt the room was overpriced for what it offered. Didn't accept the breakfast option either as it seemed more pricey than expected.

The price is cheap but the quality is good enough. It feels more like a friend's apartment than a hotel.

Bed was comfy , clean and quite fit for 2 persons.

Breakfast was great -- delicious and huge portions. Staff were welcoming and hospitable. Beds are comfortable. Good-sized room. Clean.

Noises from outside the property can be a bit loud.

The location across from the river on the main road was perfect. From our balcony we had a view of the Songkran festival across the street. Bicycles they gave us enabled us to ride to the Golden Triangle Opium museum- a pleasant route with a bike path the whole way.

Staffs are nice and helpful. Room is large and clean. Location is not far from Golden triangle, just 10 mins. drive.

The hotel was new, super clean, modern, nicely designed, very welcoming, and a really great place to stay. Central convenient location. We enjoyed spending time on our 3rd floor balcony that has a view to the river (over some rooftops). Cleaning service each day. Had all the amenities we needed plus a few (hot water/coffee/tea in room, fridge, hairdryer, etc). A very nice place to stay for a great value. And there’s parking!

Wonderful location on the bank of the Ping river with idyllic country views. Lovey traditional Thai style building very well equipped with comfortable beds, good air con and bathroom. Facilitiies for self catering. Good wifi. Lovely gardens.

Staff not friendly at check in. No restaurant, and good restaurants a few minutes drive away, took some finding! The location and gradens are beautiful, but the accommodation is a few kilometres from the town centre and the lovely historic park

Great location in town and across from the river. The night market was excellent and just down the street. The room was spacious with a refrigerator and tv. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast (additional cost) included a western, Thai or Northern Thai choice and was very good. We would stay again!

Would have given 10 across the board except that there was only one chair for the balcony and there was some road noise at night. Our room fronted onto the highway - perhaps rooms across the foyer from us would be quieter.

lovely property!! we stayed here just one night to go birding at a lake nearby, and it was the perfect spot. the breakfast in the morning was delicious, and they have bikes you can use for free. the bikes can be finicky at times, but they got us to the lake and back and it was perfect! they were very helpful with us checking out and still using the bikes. we would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was clean (and would be cleaned every day if you wish), is well located and you get free bananas at the reception :-)

An excellent value for money hotel. - Top tip - Ask in advance for a room that does not face the road. I asked for a quite room and it was still a little noisey, but there are rooms that will be quiter.

January 2023, elderly couple, 2 nights. Spacious place, modern, tastefully furnished, comfortable bed, fine bathroom. Breakfast good average. Bycicle rental next door! On bike we went slowly within 40 minutes to Sop Ruak, most of the ride on a "promenade" kind of street along the river. Two great Opium museums there!

You have to aknowledge that staff understands in fact very little English. When we asked, if we could rent bycicles, she said "only TucTuc". That is not really negative, just fact in this corner of the world.
