Rooms - especially the bathrooms need a lot of work. Bed comfortable. It would be great if all of the breakfast didn't come out on one small board all at once. It looks pretty but very impractical.

The staff made it. They were so attentive.

We have had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and cozy. The breakfast was good the diners were also good. Nice and friendly staff always ready to help. In one word excellent!!!!!!!

We had a lovely stay! Felt private but also it was nice being close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. We truly felt taken care of. I would 100% recommend!!

Hôtel très bien situé avec aux alentours un large choix de restaurants et boutiques. Le service du personnel est de haut niveau! Ils sont souriant, à l’écoute et refont même votre chambre en fin de journée pour la préparer pour votre retour à dormir, que demander de plus! Le petit déjeuner est le meilleur de mon séjour. Je vous recommande vivement cette établissement pour sa localisation mais surtout pour les employés qui sont au top

Washroom sink was blocked with dirty water. I had booked the room for three people but they told us to adjust in a two people room. And during check out time they told us they were missing of one hand towel and told us to pay 50000. After sometime they told us to pay 30000 instead of 50000. We were in a rush to reach the airport. We paid 30000 to leave the hotel. Very disappointed with the service.

Great stay first time in Cangu hotel was lovely food was great had a little trouble getting our 20%off meal and forgot about afternoon tea until last day no reminders but probably our fault for forgetting.

The staff were hospitable as always in Bali - HOWEVER, our stay at Tapa Tepi Kali was unfortunately a battle, hence the overall one star. We booked the Deluxe Pool Access room - the room itself was freshly renovated, a big room with a big bed and strong air-conditioning. The bathroom was a massive disappointment. I blame Expedia here, as the photos were minimal, clearly angled at the shower door only. The bathroom was not renovated, with what appeared to be an old outdoor glass door that swung inwards giving even less space. Only one person can fit in there at a time, also not to mention it was filthy. There was rust in ever corner, dust and dirt - the floor was also hideously dirty. We brought this to the attention of staff, who stated they would give a deep clean. Not much changed, in addition to the fact it was still far too small. We again informed the staff as well as Expedia of our dissatisfaction, who were both extremely unhelpful. The staff said we could upgrade to the Villa - at a cost - more than it was through Expedia, and even though this room was available throughout our stay. Being a Gold Member and this property being VIP Access, I was expecting far better service. This left a bitter taste in our mouth, and we checked out 5 days early. Expedia did not help to adjust our stay or even give us alternate options or partial refund. I have used Expedia consistently and exclusively for years and unfortunately will now be changing travel platforms.

For the rating of this property, the rooms were average and the mattress was poor, which led to poor nights sleep, resulting in leaving early. Staff were very accommodating, however upon switching rooms for a better bed, the same style mattress was present. Disappointed in the quality of basic elements of the rooms ie the beds.

My late arrival was accommodated and I spent two nights in a luxurious, clean and comfortable private villa. The pool is lovely, complimentary breakfast was delicious and staff were kind and friendly. The location is perfect, under 10 min walk to a lot of great food, spa and shopping options.

Først fikk vi ikke håndklær, og når vi først fikk så fikk vi kun to stk - ingen til ben, hår eller hender. På forhånd var de opplyst hvilke kansler tvn hadde, og tvn hadde ingen av de kanalene. Vi kontakten resepsjonen angående kanelene, og de sa de skulle fikse de men det ble ikke gjort. Ble også matforgiftet av en salat jeg spiste der.

Loved it here

Lovely small hotel, but big spacious rooms with great aircon, which was needed as it was very hot and humid, nice large balcony. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Clean. Good location on the edge of the hustle and bustle, walking distant to the beach, restaurants, shops, la brisa market, massage ect. Food was good but not a huge variety but as expected for a smaller hotel. Great overall stay to get us used to Bali at the beginning of our trip.

Ein schönes super gelegenes Hotel mit Pool und schön eingerichteten Zimmern. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe und zum Strand kann man auch gut laufen.

Staff was amazing, especially during check in and check out. Very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel needs some serious updates including hot water services , water pressure improvements, television signal, tv channels for australians , bedding is poor. Hotel doors need new locking system

Had such an amazing experience with friendly staff clean room and facilities and accommodating wherever possible. I stayed here for a month and would definitely stay here again thanks Deni and his team!

Geweldig verblijf! Super schoon en personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je had daar ook geen last van geluid van buitenaf dus als je tot rust wil komen moet je daarheen. Zeker een aanrader.

Great place to stay

Staff were wonderful and always happy to help! Unfortunately the info booklet in the rooms claim that yoga is available in the “gallery” room upstairs, however reception informed us when we rang to confirm the times of yoga classes - that yoga is not available at Tapa Tepi anymore which was a little disappointing. Moreover, the info booklet informs you of the free premium TV channels Included in your stay ( eg HBO, nickelodeon etc) however these channels are actually not available. We phoned reception regarding this and they said only “certain” rooms have access these channels. Our TV screen was also partially broken. Apart from this, our hotel stay was lovely. Big thanks to the staff at Tapa Tepi.

The room we stayed in was very clean. We were within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this hotel. Great breakfast options as well.

This stay was great, the staff were so accommodating and friendly, always asking if we needed anything and if our room was good/if we had any issues with it. The location is really good, tucked away from the rd so it seems quieter but so close to many awesome shops and restaurants, an ATM, a convenience store and the beach! Our room was cleaned every morning, our room had great air conditioning and the breakfast was delicious. They had a lovely lady there who did massages/facials, she was very good! They also offer multiple transport through the hotel with scooter hiring, car transport which is a handy way of getting around. All up had everything we needed!

Very friendly staff and clean hotel

Originally booked a room for a week to attend a wedding, unfortunately I had an accident that required surgery. The whole team at Tapa Tepi Kali went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible, took the time to come and check on me and without a thought extended my stay and moved me to another room with easier access on crutches. If all of this wasn’t enough they helped me organise a surprise for my mum on Mother’s Day and even gave me a bouquet of flowers wishing me a speedy recovery. I have never stayed at a hotel where the staff have been so empathetic and willing to help in time of need. 10/10 customer service for sure, will definitely stay again!

amazing place! we were very lucky to have complimentary upgrade to pool access room - thank you! unfortunately 1 pool was closed, and when we arrive no bottle opener for waters/towels in the room.. but great stay

room was spacious but felt old, in a need of refurnishing. mattress was okay, bed sheets as well as bath and pool towels came with big yellow stains. Bathroom felt a bit dirty, as there was mold on the tiles and the shower gel dispenser was covered by salts. Breakfast was basic but okay. Location was quite good, 10mins walking from echo beach, 5 mins from some nice cafes and restaurants. Overall the property needs renovation, felt like low value for money.

Was in a great location, good if you enjoy walking Beach was close, the pools were very well looked after! Would stay there again! Great food in walking distance •side note a lot of the “instagram” cafes are on the other side of Canggu but nothing a scooter ride can’t get you too :)

No big deal as we are in our 60s and if this is a problem perhaps closer to the beach or maybe a cruise 😀 If you surf and don’t want to ride a bike I would suggest closer to the beach We really loved Batu balong beach as there was so much going on more so than echo beach We found best restaurants and bars coffee shops massage there Walk to the top of the hill and turn left instead of straight ahead to echo beach

Had a great stay here and would stay again next time. Staff are happy, friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close by (via scooter) to everywhere we wanted to go.

It was quiet clean the staff was very nice. The price was right. Because it easy walk to the beach. I had a massage there and the young lady did a wonderful job. The breakfast included end it was tasty. And when I went back to add one more day on Expedia it was easy and fast. I would definitely go back again.

I would happily stay here again. It's less than a 10 minute walk from Ecco Beach and there are many shops and cafes on the way. Hot breakfast is cooked to order and comes with choices of fruit, juices and breads - all generous serves. Pool is great, very clean and clear water. It's on the smaller side but there's only 18 rooms so we found that only a handful of guests were using the pool so this didn't matter. I stayed in a pool access room which has the biggest bed ever. Rooms were clear and staff were accommodating. Only recommendation is that staff come to pool area to take drink and food orders.

Hotel was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for you. However, it's a bit difficult to walk around the area surrounding the hotel, as there are no paths. I would recommend hiring a driver or getting a scooter for your stay.

This is the most perfect place to stay! It’s close to everything you need (shops, cafes, restaurants + beach!) but still set back from the busy streets of Canggu. The hotel staff were lovely, accommodating and made me feel very comfortable. I was welcomes woth a smile on every encounter with their staff and was very sad to leave. The hotel has beautiful facilities- the pools were sparkling clean. The food was incredible and I am already missing that daily delicious Nasi Goreng. I hired a Scooter for each day I was there (which was super cheap and organised by the hotel!) and just used that to get around Canggu. The day spa was also another highlight and possibly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Great hotel. Kind and helpful staff. Hotel in a great location, would recommend hiring a scooter from the hotel as the places we wanted to visit were a short ride away. The hotel is new so the room decor was really nice, and I loved that it was a small hotel, nice and quiet. The breakfast was great, only a few options but it was enough! The only thing we noticed was the towels and bed linen had small stains on it, and we asked for it to be changed and they happily helped us, although the next lot also had small stains.. I guess this can happen easily with white towels and linen, might need stronger washing detergent. Overall we really enjoyed our stay - will definitely be back again!!

New hotel, 10 min walk or 3 min scooter ride from the beach. Our room was always clean, no bugs, mold or anything like that. The breakfast was delicious, although the variety could be improved. Staff is super nice, polite and helpful to arrange driver or day trips. Not a five-star hotel experience, but definitely best value for money, highly recommend!

The staff here were very cordial and kind, always helpful and smiling. They had no problem for us to use Grab or GoJek even though it is not advised in this area due to issues with local transportation. We rented scooters from them with no problem. Very clean and very nice property. Would stay again!

Fantastic hotel choice for us. From check in till check out, everything was great. Food serving for room service and breakfast was more than enough for us. They even have motorbikes for rental so we don’t have to go out of the hotel to look for transport. Easily a 5 minutes ride away from the most beautiful beach we been to while in Bali. Staff were attentive and friendly. Definitely recommending this hotel to anyone who’s looking for value for money hotel in Canggu!

This is a nice new hotel. After being here for just one night we decided we liked it enough to book for our next trip in August but it has already got popular and is booked out. Breakfast was great, we didn't use the pool but it looked good. The free welcome massage was a very nice touch!

lack of replies in spite of multiple requests for airport transfer . staff are friendly , but overall not that great a hotel . towels dirty , safe didn't work , phone works intermittently . lots to improve on

Positives: Awesome hotel with an incredible staff. Spa was very nice. Relatively close to the beach. Breakfast was incredible with lots of options. Good price. Negative: I didn’t like the area too much. Not what I expected of Indonesia but it may be the right fit for some. I would highly recommend the hotel for those wanting to stay inn canggu area though.

The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and so kind and friendly to us throughout our entire stay. The cleanliness was excellent and the comfort of the room was wonderful also. The hotel is located central to everything close by in Canggu. We will most definitely be back to stay :)

We stayed at the Tapa Tepi Kali for 5 nights. The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We walked to the beach and so many restaurants. Breakfast which was included, was a choice of 4 different meals. Each one was delicious! The best part of this place was how clean everything was and smelled. I would recommend this place to everyone. A special thank you to the Manager who made sure our stay was memorable and wonderful.
