It doesn’t have a toilet mat and the water from the shower makes the toilet so wet. The kitchen doesn’t have a dish towel. Very uneasy to work in the kitchen without one.

The location is absolutely fantastic and the views are amazing! The unit had everything we needed for our stay.

Bathrooms are cramped. Shower door does not open fully. Cleaning services were absent on the first day - had to report to reception. Iron stone was broken despite reminding reception of it 3 days in a row. Needs maintenance.

Tolle Lage und guter Service

Dusche muss der Ablauf im großen Bad gemacht werden. Das Wasser läuft fast nicht ab. Sonst alles sehr sauber und schön.

Clean, spacious and good position

The blinds were recessed into the widow opening. The result was that light peeped in through the corners at night. Blockout curtains are a must espcially since the kitchen window which had no blinds, let in the most light.

Collection at the reception was straight forward

My guest had the unfortunate experience of money being stolen from his apartment, after I had explicitly requested that the rooms not be serviced. My room was not service, as requested, but my guests room was on two occasions. The second occasion was after the theft had been report and they again entered the apartment. Why?? It has been a week since we checked out and there has been no communication whatsoever to provide feedback on the investigation. They also did not have the courtesy of showing us video footage. Very disappointing and embarrassing for myself hosting an overseas guest. This is the first really bad experience I have had using Booking.com in over 25 years.

Everything was perfect! We parked the car and walked everywhere we needed to go like the waterfront , Cape Town Stadium etc.

there were no 2 pin adaptors in the apartment so we couln't use the bedside light. Only 1 bedside lamp in the main room. Was disappointed that there was no sea view like in the picture. Outdated furniture. Outstanding location.

Key collection was less convenient than expected. The keys had to be collected from a different location rather than at the apartment itself. For guests visiting from out of town, having to navigate to a separate location before checking in could make the arrival experience unnecessarily stressful, particularly on busy event days when traffic around the stadium is heavy as was the case with us. Collecting the keys at the apartment would make for a much smoother and more welcoming check-in.

The apartment felt a little tired and could do with some TLC. The fridge door didn't close properly, despite looking as though it had. The windows also didn't seal properly and, as a result, the front door and blinds banged throughout the night whenever the wind picked up. The shower water pressure was very low. There is a hairdryer, which was appreciated, but finding the adapter was difficult. We eventually discovered it behind the bed for use with the bedside lamps. The towels were really small and could be freshened up. There was only one hook for the towels and we were two people. The toilet was leaking during our stay. To be fair, the host did offer to send someone to repair it, but as we were only there for a short stay, we decided we'd rather not spend our holiday waiting for maintenance. Overall, the apartment served its purpose because of its excellent location, but with a few relatively simple fixes and a little more attention to detail, it could be a much more comfortable place to stay.

Cleaning staff are unfriendly, ignored me when I greeted them on arrival and departure.

There was excessive noise during the entire day due to construction. It would have been great to know this in advance. I had small kids with me that still and we need to make other arrangements for the kids to nap elsewhere.

The very simple lock wasn't giving me a feeling of security

It had everything that we needed and was a great location

The fog horn that started at midnight one day and continued into the morning. Not the fault of the renters but might consider double glazing to reduce the noise.

The location was great for the start of the marathon. It is literally at the start line.

There is a fog horn that sounds every 30 seconds for 3 seconds when it’s foggy which it was during my stay. The light house and fog horn are only a block or two away and it is so loud that it kept me up all night and I didn’t get any sleep.

the location was great. we had a back facing room, so it had a mountain and golf course view and not a sea view. that made the room quite cold in the afternoons.

What a beautiful place! We were so happy that it was close to the venues we wanted to visit, like the DHL Stadium and the Waterfront. It is a very peaceful place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely book here again for the 2027 Cape Town Marathon!

each apt is a bit different in furnishings some more comfortable then others. The bed quality are great and pretty consistent in all the apts.

The position

Broken drawers in the kitchen. No mirror near an electric plug for blow drying hair. Understand there were hectic storms before I arrived but the balcony had not been cleaned and there was an empty cigarette box on the table.

Loved the area. So close to everything and can park my car outside with no worries. Lovely spacious apartments and nice and quiet. Really enjoyed my time here. I stayed here in winter and can't imagine how wonderful this place must be in the summer.

I booked two apartments. The shower in one of the apartments was way too small and very difficult to move in and out. This is the only issue I had, everything else was wonderful.

The shower water pressure was more than the drain-slope could handle, which forced me to use little water pressure to ensure the water didn't run out of the shower and get everything wet.

The fact that the sliding door is unable to lock was a bit of a concern. With crime in South Africa at the point where it is criminals manage to scale that wall easily to get access. The apartment had loads of cockroaches which was a real downer for me

Fijne, veilige locatie in Kaapstad! Paar minuten rijden van V&A waterfront. Genoeg restaurants op loopafstand! Goede bedden, 2 ruime slaapkamers.

Location

The couches in the living room were very old and uncomfortable, making them difficult to use properly. The chairs on the balcony were broken and unsafe to sit on. There were only three chairs at the kitchen island, even though we were four people, so we couldn’t sit and eat together. The stove controls were not legible, making it unclear whether it was functioning correctly. The oven did not work at all, which was a major issue. We had already bought food to prepare for dinner, but since the oven was not working, we had to make last-minute alternative arrangements at additional cost.
