First of all, Guilherme, our host, was so kind and helpful. Our plane was delayed terribly and he still waited for our arrival. I don't know how many whatsapp messages I sent him to keep informed and he was always so patient. He gave us lots of ideas and advice where to go, which was really helpful. The hotel is in a perfect place because it is situated up on the hill which gives you a lovely view of the town and the sea. The room was perfectly comfortable, clean and simple. It is also very quiet, so you are not disturbed by any traffic noises or people passing by. I would think that it would be terrible to stay any closer to the main part of Albufeira. You can see that a lot of care has been taken regarding the details of the house and the different rooms in the house. Breakfast is simple and if you love sweet things in the morning, you will love it because they make fresh homemade cakes every day, so the choice in the sweet department is ample. There is no lift so people with mobility problems could have a problem. There are two flights of stairs. I do not know if there are some rooms on the ground floor. Plenty of parking too; we never had a problem. Oh! I almost forgot! Fresh homemade marmalade!! Loved it!

A localização é excelente, no Centro Histórico (Cidade Velha), proximo das principais atrações e de ótimos restaurantes; além, é claro, de duas praias belíssimas. O hotel possui uma ótima estrutura; um saboroso café da manhã; é limpo; tem uma cama muito confortável. Nosso quarto tinha uma bela vista da cidade e do mar! No entanto, o ponto alto foi o tratamento gentil e competente do Guilherme e da Sra Fernanda, que fizeram de tudo para atender bem os hóspedes, com atenção e carinho. Super recomendo!

Não ter tido o tipo de quarto reservado (quarto duplo com pátio e vista cidade) não tinha pátio/varanda e a vista da janela era um muro branco. Apresar de muitos quartos estarem mencionados como tendo um pátio a realidade é que a porta de entrada para o quarto é a mesma que consideram acesso pátio que não passa de um corredor externo por onde passam a maioria dos clientes. Pequeno almoço espalhado pelo salão sem estar protegido nem refrigerado, não era nem saudável nem higiénico

Wir wurden über What's App vom Host kontaktiert mit Anreise Infos und allen möglichen Zusatzinfos. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Privatwohnung resp. Haus, wo es verschiedene Zimmer gibt, alle mit eigenem Bad/WC. Während das Bad relativ geräumig ist, ist das Zimmer eher relativ klein, aber für einen Aufenthalt von 1 Nacht kein Problem. Der Host war sehr hilfreich und nett, hatte uns geholfen mit dem Parken und uns das Zimmer und den Essbereich (quasi das Wohnzimmer) gezeigt und uns Tips und Infos gegeben. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr zentral und man kann zu Fuss alles in kürzester Zeit erreichen, also perfekt fürs Nachtleben in Albufeira.

Das Haus liegt etwas versteckt im Quartier und ist im ersten Moment nicht gerade erkennbar, wir mussten etwas suchen, auch beim Parkplatz waren wir uns nicht sicher, ob wir am richtigen Ort waren. Unser Zimmer war gerade beim Eingangsbereich, welcher mit einem Türcode gesichert ist... und bei der Eingabe des Codes eine Art Tropfgeräusch nach jedem Tastendruck von sich gab, welches zwar nicht oft vorkam, aber in unserem Zimmer recht gut zu hören war. Ebenfalls etwas suboptimal ist das Sonnensegel, welches einen kleinen Sitzbereich überdeckt auch gerade auf Höhe des Eingangs, und mit einem groben Karabinerhaken an einer Öse hängt, welche genau oberhalb des Zimmers in die Wand gebort wurde. Bei Wind (und wir hatten Wind) gibt das laufend Geräusche, die sich als etwas störend erweisen. Das Frühstück hatte nicht extrem viel Auswahl zu bieten, war aber ansonsten soweit ok.

Die Lage war außergewöhnlich gut und ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um Albufeira zu erkunden. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal – alle waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Auch die gesamte Organisation rund um den Aufenthalt hat perfekt funktioniert. Insgesamt war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis daher gut.

Wir hatten bewusst ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit 7 m² ausgewählt und wussten daher, dass der Platz begrenzt sein würde. Allerdings war das Zimmer auch von der Aufteilung und Ausstattung her so ungünstig gestaltet, dass wir praktisch keinen vernünftigen Platz für unsere Koffer hatten. Zudem hat der Abfluss im Bad während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts unangenehm und deutlich nach Fäkalien gerochen. Das Fenster im Bad war außerdem so einsehbar bzw. platziert, dass man sich dort nicht unbekleidet bewegen konnte. Das Frühstück war uns persönlich etwas zu einfach und vor allem sehr süß gehalten. Es gab leider nur wenige gesündere bzw. herzhafte Optionen.

L’accoglienza dell’host super, anche la posizione centrale ma fuori dalla confusione. Parcheggio vicino, ma non sempre disponibile.

La nostra camera era piccolissima con un’unica portafinestra che dava su un terrazzo comune, quindi non era possibile arieggaiare la stanza perché non aveva finestre, inoltre il bagno dentro un armadio senza finestra piccolissimo, come il letto da una piazza e mezzo, pareti non insonorizzate, struttura non è adeguata per la colazione, non siamo riuscite a farla una mattina.

Very close to the City Centre. The room is really clean, full of art and has a very cosy feeling. I loved it and would recommend it! Also, Bolts and Ubers come very fast in the area , which is a plus if you wanna visit and don t have a car.

Guilherme était un hôte attentionné et adorable ! Nous avons reçu pleins de recommandations d’activités et restaurants aux alentours, ce qui nous a été très utile ! Le logement en lui même est très mignon, avec une terrasse qui a une vue magnifique sur la ville et l’océan, et une vraie petite galerie d’art dans toute la partie commune ! Tout le monde était très chaleureux ! Nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous !

Les hôtes sont adorables, et prennent le temps de nous donner de bons conseils. Très arrangeants également. L’hébergement est idéalement situé, proche de la vieille ville mais pas au cœur qui est très fêtard. Chambres propres et calmes.

La posizione centralissima, in un posto incantevole e con una bellissima terrazza con una vista imperdibile, molto pulito, tranquillo ma soprattutto l’accoglienza e il valore aggiunto lo fa Guillerme, una persona squisita, ge tile, disponibile e molto accogliente che ti mette subito a tuo agio. Villa Algarve e’ un posto dove ti senti accolto e come se fossi a casa tua. Buona la colazione con prodotti casalinghi e gentile la signora che la: serve. Vicinissimo a due spiagge importanti raggiungibili a piedi in 5/10 minuti e con tanti locali, ristoranti a pochi minuti a piedi. Ottimi i consigli che Guillerme ci ha dato per mangiare fuori ai ristoranti. Cucina squisita

Túlárazott, kicsi szoba, még apróbb zuhany-wc, a reggeli kiábrándító

Apartament wygląda zdecydowanie lepiej na żywo niż na zdjęciach, jest zlokalizowany bardzo blisko przystanku autobusowego, z którego można dojechać na dworzec autobusowy, w cichej i bezpiecznej okolicy. Do plaży, starego miasta kilka minut piechotą. W pobliżu duży supermarket. Ogólnodostępny taras z pięknym widokiem. Pokój czysty, w łazience suszarka do włosów, mydło w płynie, żel pod prysznic/szampon, codziennie zmieniane ręczniki. Można korzystać z ogólnodostępnej lodowki. Śniadania smaczne i wystarczające, serwowane w godz. 8-10: chleb, tosty, szynka, ser, dżem, płatki, coś na słodko, jogurt, sok, kawa, herbata, owoc (brakowało mi tylko pomidora/ogórka). Bardzo sympatyczny i pomocny właściciel, wszystkie niezbędne informacje dostałam na Whatsapp.

Breakfast was a good mix of various pastries etc. coffee/drinks machine was ok. Efficient cleaning and towel collection. Ease of entry, good security.

Room was very basic and quite small. Bed could have been more comfortable. Facilities for a drink in the room were non existent. Communal toilet was awful, needed to use it after checking out! Hardly beach front as advertised!

Guilherme is a very kind host, he is available for every request. The room was tiny but it was fine for a short stay. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty and homemade.

La chambre d'hôte est bien située pour visiter la ville et aller à la plage à pied. Un parking public est présent à proximité. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient grandes.

Le personnel de chambre et au petit déjeuner étaient non souriants, ni accueillants, ni polis et ne parlaient pas anglais, tout le contraire du propriétaire. Le petit déjeuner est à revoir : seulement de la confiture d'oranges (pas d'autres confitures, ni de miel ni de pâte à tartiner, ni de beurre doux), pas de thé vert (une fois la boîte terminée un jour, aucun thé vert n'a été proposé les autres jours), pas de viennoiseries (parfois des croissants secs de plusieurs jours on aurait dit), du jus d'orange avec des morceaux d'écorces. La chambre était vieillotte : tête de lit mal fixée, literie usée, dessus de lit tâché, pas de table de nuit, lampe qui marchait une fois sur 2, lavabo où l'eau s'évacuait doucement...

Świetna lokalizacja i bardzo serdeczne przyjęcie przez zarządzającego obiektem. Dom zachwyca sztuką i pięknem obecnym w każdym zakątku. Nasz pokój był przytulny, a łóżko z wygodnym materacem zapewniło komfortowy wypoczynek. Zarówno z okna, jak i z tarasu rozciągał się wspaniały widok. Profesjonalna obsługa, wyjątkowy klimat oraz niepowtarzalny charakter obiektu sprawiły, że pobyt był niezwykle udany i bardzo przyjemny.

Nasz pokój nazwany ‚Fernando Pessoa’ był zdecydowanie zbyt mały. Spodziewaliśmy się większego. Poza tym, ktoś pożyczył sobie lody zaraz po ich włożeniu do zamrażarki. Niestety nie zwrócił.

A atenção e simpatia do gerente, que fez questão de nos atender pessoalmente e mostrar todos os aposentos e áreas, é o destaque e diferencial do hotel. O café da manhã é bom.

Os apartamentos são pequenos e simples. O hotel carece locais amplos e espaçosos. A decoração não nos agradou.

Tolles kleines Hotel in top-Lage in der Nähe Altstadt Albufeira. Es stehen öffentliche Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Die Kommunikation mit der Verwaltung war absolut vorbildlich, wir hatten den Link zum Parkplatz und Restaurant-Tipps schon Stunden vor der Ankunft. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber für unseren Aufenthalt von 4 Nächten handelbar. Eingerichtet mit künstlerischer Liebe zum Detail. Alle Einrichtungen im Zentrum sind fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Man kann den Kühlschrank im Speiseraum nutzen. Ein tolles Highlight ist die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf Albufeira und das Meer

Das Frühstück war jetzt nicht so unser Ding, aber sehr reichliche Auswahl an Kuchen. Aber das ist persönliche Geschmacksache

Exceptional check in with Jose G. Made us feel at home! He send us a list of restaurants and fun activities to do in Albufeira. Close proximity to restaurants, marina and beaches within walking distance. Free parking on nearby streets.

The breakfast options are limited but there are bakeries and coffee shops nearby.

William was the nicest host, so attemtive, was there to greet on arrival and gave a full tour, the lady in the kitchen was lovely and on hand if you wanted anything. Really easy to access and such lovely views and lots of seating area,s in the sun or shade.

Just a kettle in the room would have helped so you did not feel the need to bother anyone. For the smaller rooms without a fridge, although there is the large fridge in the communal area a cool box for holding water would be suffice.

It was a beautiful relaxing stay. The room it’s self exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day and the view was fabulous. What more could you ask for? Guillermo was a wonderful host and very welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again.

Расположение идеальное, повсюду интересные картины, персонал приветливый. Есть огромная терраса на крыше со столиками и лежаками. На общей кухне есть холодильник, можно пользоваться посудой и микроволновой печью. Есть завтрак. Рядом бесплатная парковка.

На террасе есть лежаки, но нет зонтиков. На улице было +34, загорать там было невозможно. На общей кухне нет чайника. На мой вопрос, как попить чай, мне предложили подогреть воду в микроволновой печи. Кофе можно сделать только во время завтрака.

Die Lage ist einzigartig!

Habitación muy comoda, con aire acondicionado funcional y un baño impecable. El desayuno era muy bueno, con alimentos muy variados y todo muy fresco. Esta a aproximadamente 5-6 minutos caminando del centro de Albufeira y del famoso Tunel, por lo que te permite disfrutar la ciudad sin estar con el ruido de las noches. Hay muchos comercios, supermercados y tiendas cerca (1-2 minutos caminando). Muchas gracias por todo Guilherme y Fernanda, esperamos volver!

This host is excellent. Helpful & polite. Informative and tries hard. The location is excellent, a few minutes from all the popular areas. It is worth noting that the walk back from the square, town centre and beach is all up hill. definitely worth noting if you aren't the most mobile. Breakfast was ok, Toast, cereal & cakes. A coffee machine and a toaster. Could be a bit awkward if there were a number of guests having breakfast at the same time due to space. No cooked choices. Again adequate though. You have your own front door which is quite nice. Air con was excellent. Bed was very comfortable and pillows pretty good. TV had some channels showing English programs with subtitles. No terrace or anything other than the communal one (see below for more information). I would recommend this place, its quaint and has some unusual artwork around the building. Again the host is impeccable & the property is generally clean. if modern, contemporary is you this probably isn't for you. I would not stay more than a few days however. Mostly due lack of amenities such as a pool, bar or food options.

There are a few niggles. My reviews are always my honest opinion so I must point these out. The room was ok. Some slightly annoying things. No drawers at all. plenty of space to put some, they would easily fit in the room or cupboard. 6 hangers and no other storage in my room. The bathroom is separated by semi glass wardrobe doors. They would offer very little privacy (I was travelling alone so no issue) if there were two people. They also seem to be constantly in the way. Again no proper storage in the bathroom which is very small. Two hopeless plastic things on the sink which just got in the way. Plenty of wall space to put a shelf or cheap unit which would really improve things. you are constantly looking for somewhere to put things (cosmetics etc). The shower was ok, if a bit small. My toilet took forever to refill. I did mention this, nothing was done. Again an issue in travelling as a couple (45 minutes plus between flushes). There was a kitchen unit & sink in my room. No kettle, cups, glasses or fridge (you can use a communal fridge which did not appeal to me). Why? If you aren't going to utilise it Get rid of it and get some drawers. Roof terrace is lovely and has a great view. Spoiled a bit by just two tatty loungers. If this are was given a little Tlc and half a dozen nice loungers maybe some tables and chairs it would be a really beautiful space.

Отдыхали с мужем в июне 2026. Владелец лично встречал нас несмотря на очень поздний заезд. Уделил время и кратко рассказал о проживании. В дополнение скинул несколько локаций где можно поесть, погулять и что посмотреть. Самое лучшее в этом отеле это его местоположение: до пляжа близко, находится возле башни, т.е. всегда легко найти, в самом центре, но при этом удивительно тихое место, хотя практически за углом улица где тусят до утра!

Чуток не хватает разнообразия на завтраках и хотелось бы шампунь и бальзам для волос в номерах.

Está muy cerca de las playas y de la fiesta y bares. No esta al lado de la fiesta cosa que es de agradecer por la fiesta que hay a todas horas en otras calles. Pero está a pocos metros. El desayuno con mucha variedad y petiscos y bolos y dulces típicos portugueses. La chica que trabajaba ahí muy buena, y hace unos desayunos muy ricos. El chico muy majo siempre preocupado por nosotros

The owner gave us a very warm welcome. Great guy. There are beautiful artworks throughout the building. All the rooms have cool names inspired by famous Portuguese people, and each one has its own story. The location is perfect: just outside the hustle and bustle, yet still close enough to the city center. I would definitely recommend this place to stay!

La amabilidad de Guillermo el propietario, que te enseña y explica todas las instalaciones y te aconseja sitios para comer. El desayuno está bueno, y tiene unas preciosas vistas desde la terraza.

La habitación no es muy grande, con un baño pequeño y sin ventilación, la ducha es minúscula. Se fue la luz un par de veces pero el propietario lo solucionó rápido. Tiene aire acondicionado que se agrade porque la habitación no tiene ninguna ventana.

We loved the location and the rooftop terrace. Everything was wonderful, from the kind reception to the thoughtful art throughout the property.

We enjoyed everything! At first, the size of the room caught us by surprise, but we quickly adapted and ended up falling in love with it. It had so much charm, and honestly, when you're surrounded by such a beautiful property, who spends much time in the room anyway? Everything was spotless, fresh, and the bed was comfortable.

I spent 12 nights here . It was exactly what I wanted for this holiday. Away from the noisy part of the city but close enough to the beach and restaurants. A mini supermarket and pharmacy is nearby . My room was outside from the main villa and was what I was looking for: quiet, clean, big wardrobe. Guilherme and Fernanda were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back.

Host Guillerme was brilliant, super helpful and friendly. The hotel had so much character and was unique, I loved that it was filled with his friend's art. Location was great, facilities all clean.

Didn't dislike anything! The breakfast may not be great for people with certain dietary requirements but it's a small hotel not some massive chain so I wouldn't expect loads. I liked the breakfast.
