The building had charm, but needs renovation.

The mattresses in both rooms Were terrible. Fortunately we were only there for a night and found out when we returned late after dinner otherwise we would have requested to move. The mattress in the master was completely unacceptable. The mattress funneled you to the center. It was incredibly uncomfortable and disappointing. The twin bunks weren’t any better. The main bathroom stunk we kept the door shut. The master bath needed retiling and also the baying was completely exposed no wall just a tub and the drainage pipe completely visible along with the tub mounting brackets. Very poor condition overall.

A bit uncomfortable (maybe other rooms are different) as I had to climb a stairs (like a ladder) to get to the bed. Probably more suitable for 20 yo folks

Det lå centralt og alligevel roligt. Svømmebassinet lå fantastisk på bygnings tag. Der var dejlig morgenmad og et sødt og venligt personale. Der var rent og meget hyggeligt, og vi følte os meget godt tilpas og har lyst til at komme igen. Da vi først fandt ud af hvordan vi selv låste os ind med dørkoder så gik det også nemt 💓

We stayed in superior room 6 and thought it was excellent, we loved the layout of the room with the bed up some stairs. Air con was excellent, the shower was great. The location was amazing, less than 1 minute to walk into the main square of the old town and even being so close to everything we never heard any of the music or noise when trying to sleep. Breakfast was lovely as was the lady who made it for us and the pool area was very clean and well maintained, we even had a few hours one afternoon with the pool to ourselves which felt like having a private villa.

I hate to even pick anything to moan about as we really loved our stay. The only problem that we had was on the second night of our 3 night stay there was a power cut, unfortunately this happened just as my partner washed her hair. We waited an hour but still no power and she went out with wet hair which she wasn’t happy about. We did msg the hotel as soon as the power cut happened but didn’t get a reply and we tried calling the number left for the hotel around 20 times but every time we pressed option 2 for English the phone would cut off so it was not working.

Considering the location next to the strip, the thick windows kept the room surprisingly quiet. Nice bathroom. Everything is clean. Great pool. Awesome breakfast!

The apartment was really small and the doors were low. There was only one coffee pod for two people No water was provided Check-in was not very smooth Not a big deal everything was fine :))

Location is absolutely ideal, right off the main square. You couldn’t get any closer! We stayed in the deluxe room and it was spotless and modern. The bed was so comfortable and the AC was perfect! The pool was really clean as well

A very small thing, but if they had a reception area with some one to greet you that would be amazing, just to give you some info about the place and where to put your bags as the code only works past 3pm. It is more of a self service place.

Location was excellent, great value for money with a nice breakfast provided. Pool area was a lovely added touch as was very hot during our stay. Would definatley return here. Room was adequate & clean & overall great for a short break.

Die Lage ist unglaublich gut. Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in der Innenstadt ist aber trotzdem sehr ruhig.

Wir konnten keinen Online Check in machen, weil die Website nicht funktioniert hat. Dadurch konnten wir nicht in unser Zimmer gelangen, da uns die Zugangsdaten gefehlt haben. Anrufen konnte man auch niemanden. Man hat immer nur eine KI die einem nicht geholfen hat. Über Booking.com hat man sich erst nach 3 Stunden bei uns gemeldet.

Desayuno buffet de gran calidad y la mujer que se encontraba en cocina muy amable. Nuestro alojamiento era un apartamento situado en la calle trasera de Malpique, era un poco difícil acceder al principio pues no detallan con exactitud

El sofá cama es más pequeño de lo habitual, por lo que dormir en ese lugar es complicado. El apartamento tenía claraboyas y al amanecer entraba mucha luz para las personas que duermen en la zona del salón y por tanto obliga a levantarse temprano.

We had 2 double rooms and one 5 bed suite the double rooms were cleaned and clean towels , were as in the suite we never had any cleaning or clean towels in the 3 days we were there , not sure the reason

The place is riddled with ants, after my first night’s sleep and woke up to redness around body. Not a very good start. Secondly the air conditioning wasn’t working so I messaged Marvin who said to let him know if I need anyone to assist me, by which time I found that the battery was low. I was told they’d be replaced the next day, that did not happen.

La guedt house est vraiment super. Le personnel à l'écoute de nos besoin. Située à quelques pas du centre d'Albufeira. Tout était top...le petit dej, la piscine, la chambre était petite mais confortable. Nous avons eu un souci avec le matelas. Le lendemain nous en avons eu un tout neuf et très confortable. Merci au personnel qui a su être à notre écoute.

Pour nous rendre dans la guesthouse, il faut se garer tout en haut de la ville et descendre de longues marches (pas facile avec les bagages).

Notre chambre etait la 1 ère devant la porte d’entrée, nous avons été réveillé à 2 reprises à cause du bruit des personnes qui rentrées dans la nuit et nous avions demandé avec vue sur piscine ce qui nous a été confirmé mais nous nous sommes retrouvés au rez-de-chaussée avec une fenêtre à barreaux, donnant sur la rue! Éviter la chambre 1 et 2 je pense que les autres sont moins bruitants…

We were ground floor so was noisy when people came back at all hours slamming the door and shouting. Not the fault of the hotel though. Little ventilation in the room, smelt damp and the bed and towels felt damp.

Zimmer sehr klein. Bad quasi im Zimmer. Nur ein kleines Fenster zum lüften. Einchecken war nicht ganz klar, da per Mail ein Code kam. Wusste ich vorher nicht. War chaotisch! Auto muss außerhalb abgestellt werden. Muss man mit Gepäck hin laufen. ca 1km. War uns nicht klar. Frühstück sehr bescheiden. Nicht ganz so sauber alles. Kein Personal tagsüber da, nur zum Frühstück. Personal war aber sehr nett. Für zwei Nächte also ganz ok. Nachts bei uns im Zimmer (zum Pool) laut, da Straße direkt am Fenster war und die ganze Zeit Leute liefen!

I was granted a ground floor apt for our health conditions as requested ,I was concerned about all the stairs,but I wasn't told that we had to climb two sets of steep stairs for breakfast ,which I was very dissatisfied about and also I had to request a deep clean when the room became infested with loads of ants!!!!!

Hübsches Zimmer mit Balkon fast mitten in der Partystrasse von Albufeira. Trotz der zentralen Lage einigermassen ruhig. Fürs Frühstück gab es ein kleines Buffet das auf der Pool Terrasse eingenommen werden kann. Auf werden auch Eier serviert.

The room was very small for 2 people, it was like a double bed in a single room, no opening to large window. Lots of tiny ants on bed.

La terrasse est hyper appréciable et la localisation de l'hôtel en plein centre ville ainsi que le personnel et le buffet du petit déjeuner.

Notre arrivée a été très compliqué aucune communication au préalable du coup du avons mis beaucoup de temps a comprendre le système pour avoir accès à notre logement et pas de réception aucune personne n'est la pour nous accueillir !! C'est vraiment dommage c'est un gros point négatif. Et un manque d'aération dans la villa beaucoup d'humidité.

The location in old town was fab, walking distance to everything. Communication from the hotel was clear and easy. The hotel was clean, modern and lovely, great boutique hotel options. The bed was so comfortable! The staff were lovely, breakfast was great and the pool are provided a nice chill out zone. Would highly recommend this place.

Nothing. Previous reviews mention noise but that was minimal and not the hotels fault. being located near bars and restaurants means unfortunately people being about at all hours. Also reviews mentioning ants, there were a few about but nothing major and to be expected in a sunny climate.

Die Frauen, die am Morgen das Frühstück vorbereiteten, waren aufmerksam, freundlich und auch lustig. Die Lage ist im Übrigen nicht schlecht (ausser abends/ nachts die dünmliche Musik von Down Town.

Das Zimmer Nr. 1 liegt beben der Eingangstür, die auch von betrunkenen Nachtschwärmern genutzt wird. Ein ruhiger Schlaf lässt sich da bis ca. morgens um 4:30 Uhr nicht finden. Zudem ist das Zimmer schwer lüftbar (Feuchtigkeit!) und das Fenster vergittert….

Air conditioning worked well, perfect location for a short stay in old town. Directions to the property and lock box were sufficient. Very good value for money. The pool was lovely and quiet , exactly what we needed.

Nous avons eu un problème de climatisation pendant deux jours, il faisait plus de 30° dans la chambre dans la nuit. C’était vraiment impossible de dormir. J’essaie de joindre l’établissement par mail mais je n’ai aucun retour, je ne sais même pas si le mail est bon. J’aimerais avoir un geste commercial.

I liked the pool area...there was no bar opened or anything in our 9 night stay..Location was good too.

Didn't like the fact that its impossible go communicate to the owner...we had major issues with the Internet and the mattress...we had to sleep 3 nights on a mattress where springs were coming out...we actually had to get in contact to booking. Com to sort and issue...after 3 nights of pestering booking .com we got a mattress. Owner didn't seem to be bothered,and not in a rush to do anything. Breakfast wasnt great either...didnt see a fresh bread or other stuff.only few items and nothing fresh...last morning we had gone off ham. Ants in the room. Extremely noisy at night.we were staying in a room behind steps and noise was unbelievable every night when youngsters were galloping up and down. We just simply weren't enjoying ourselves.

La piscine est propre mais non chauffée, le logement est en plein centre, la dame au petit déjeuner est adorable et répond à toutes les demandes.

Le logement 12 est catastrophique : une odeur insupportable de moisissures, peu lumineux (une toute petite fenêtre donnant sur un mur), la SDB est très petite (je mesure 1m80 et me suis cogné à plusieurs reprises, obligé de me courber et les mirroirs sont à 1m50 de hauteur).

Lage gut; Zimmer gute Grösse; ruhig wenn Fenster zu, ansonsten laut, weil viel los rund herum; Pool; gutes Frühstück; Bett gut.

Da mitten in Party Zone, viel Lärm, halt normal wenn man in dieser Zone ist. Am Anfang schwierig zu finden. Parkplatz etwas weiter weg,mit Koffer mühsam dazu zu kommen. Zimmer muffig, wäre gut Raumspray zu haben. Das Klima halt feucht hier.

Staff were fantastic. Location was perfect. Breakfast was lovely. Facilities were superb and the swimming pool area in particular was well maintained and quiet. Plenty of towels, sunbeds and parasols. Apartment 12 was well equipped.

Minor point, but room 12 didn't have a roller blind at the glass door. This meant the sunlight flooded into the bedroom as soon as it got light. If you closed the bedroom door, you got no benefit of the a/c.

Pool was a bit chilly for being heated. One of the rooms had a damp smell although seemed clean. Bit noisy from people partying in the nearby town centre, but none of which ruined our stay

Le personnel faisait du bruit dans les couloirs très tôt le matin, pratiquement tous les jours. Assez ennuyant. Pensez aussi à prendre des boules quies car en plein cœur du OLD TOWN les gens font la fête jusqu’à 2h donc tous les bars mettent la musique à fond

Die Dachterrasse war sehr schön gestaltet und der Pool sauber. Der Frühstücksraum sehr sauber.

Wir wussten ,dass es laut wird und das Haus an der Partystraße liegt.Aber trotz Schalldichterfenster und Ohrstöpsel!!!!! Konnte man jedes Lied bis um 4.00 Uhr in der Frühe mitsingen.An Schlaf war in dieser Woche nicht zu denken.Wenn man jede Nacht bis um 4.00 Uhr mitfeiert ,ist es ok. Die Zimmerreinigung wurde sogut wie nicht durchgeführt!! Einmal fegen,Bettdecke gerade ziehen und Toilettenpapier auffüllen.Handtücher gab es einmal in der Woche auf Nachfrage. Wir hatten im Bad,Schlafzimmer und im Bett Ameisen. Das Personal wurde informiert,wir erhielten Ameisenspray...so nach dem Motto...bitteschön...kümmern sie sich selber und benutzen das Spray. Zum Frühstück gab es genau eine Sorte Wurst und eine Sorte Käse die ganze Woche!!! Eine Tomate und Gurke wären eine schöne Abwechslung gewesenen. Der Toilettendeckel müsste ausgetauscht werden...Die rote Farbe auf diesem wirkte nicht einladend und der Wasserhahn wackelt,dass man Angst hat er fällt gleich vom Waschbecken. Der Kühlschrank/ Eisfach war mit einem riesigen Eisbrocken gefroren.Das Zimmermädchen hat diesen dann beseitigt....Danach war der ganze Sesalteppich klitsch nass im Zimmer. Die Matratze unterirdisch schlecht. Insgesamt nur höchstens 2 Sterne !! Austausch der Reinigungskraft und ein Handwerker müsste dringend die Mängel beseitigen. Wir hatten Zimmer 4

The room was dark, smelt of damp and had poor ventilation with only limited storage. The property next door drains were overflowing with sewage and smelled terrible attracting flies.
