Reviewed Apr 12, 2025We were impressed with the breakfast items in some of the rooms 👍🏾.Unfortunately we didn’t get to use them. The location was a bit of a stretch as we traveled through at night but I must say we loved waking up next to the beach.
We thought the location was close to where we were supposed to be. Too much stairs inside to get to the rooms,maybe look at having a shower and no wardrobes in the bedrooms

There is TLC needed, especially on the single bathroom. We couldn't use the shower and one basin as the fittings were broken and not working. Other than that, it's a great place.

Reviewed Feb 25, 20251) We stayed 2 nights and privacy was a problem 1st night with people visiting the host 2) Good facilities for kitchen with no sink for dishes - although host regularly removed dirty dishes and returned spotless it was not ideal 3) No AC or fan and extremely small TV 4) Smell of cigarette smoke at times disturbing 5) Could not shower 2nd day- however - we only realized foul smell from outlet on 2nd day - had we realized earlier I am certain host would have rectified 6) Host Chris was very helpful at all times 7) Lovely view of the sea- just as pictures promised

Reviewed Dec 17, 2024The location is perfect, across the street from rock pools and on the sea side road. It was so easy and pleasant to take our dog for walks along the sea and around rock pools. The view is absolutely spectacular, watching the sunset and the sea comfortably from the balcony. The bedrooms also have the view and are comfortable and quite large. The house was very comfortable for us and our dog. Chris, our host, is friendly and great. He was very welcoming and helpful with anything we needed.
The shower was a bit difficult to adjust, but we managed.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2024Lying down on a comfortable bed with a view of the waves breaking on the rocks seemingly in every direction was sheer bliss. Added to that was an excellent breakfast served by the host Chris. He even included his speciality cabbage just for me. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our extremely relaxing 3 night stay.
No complaints whatsoever.

The host is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the place is well situated, the venue is lovely and clean. The view is outstanding especially at sunset. Well worth the trip and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Reviewed Oct 3, 2024Arriving at Walkerbay was lovely, right on the sea! Chris was there to welcome us, helped carry our baggage upstairs and OH! What a view. And then for me, the little touches - packets of crisps, sweeties on the table, I'm very happy! I did not expect breakfast, but there it all was in a compact little space, milk in the fridge tea and coffee and a view to die for. We were very happy with our accommodation. It is not yuppy or glitzy, more like a home from home. I am fussy so when I say I was happy, I really was happy. Chris was so helpful and informative. There is so much to explore in this area and we will definitley go back there. Thank you Chris and team!

Loved his dog and cats that liked to visit me..... it felt like I was back in my own home with my cats. Can highly recommend it for a relaxed, chilled holiday.
