Very clean unit and very comfy bed

Sadly the pool did not look inviting and clearly in need of a good paint, renovation and clean hence on our judgement we didn't think fit to use

The location was good. The new carpet was nice.

I refused the first room they gave us. There were holes in the wall, the shower was mouldy, the second 'room' had no door. The front of the oven was sticking out, the paint was peeling, the bottom of the shower wall was rotten. Every wall was heavily damaged with chunks missing and not painted. The drawers were glued together from being broken. The bedroom door looked like it had been kicked in and was heavily damaged and had holes in it. The second room was much better, no dead cockroaches. My biggest complaint about the second room was the bathroom was a wet, wet area. The steam had no where to go, even with both windows open. And water ran out of the wall hair dryer when I picked it up. The shower curtain was 2 inches too short for the shower, so a lot just went under onto the floor. Lots of paint missing from the shower step and window sill, just exposed wood so you know it was hard to clean. The walls were paper thin in our unit and between units. We could hear everything and had to watch our own voices. The Thermal pool was slimy, we didn't go in it because it was disgusting. I wiped my fingers along the pool wall and just about vomited. Its probably a severe health violation. Never, ever again. The manager said he had no permission to fix anything from the company that owned it.

Very sparsely equipped. Appears to have some social housing tenants. My second stay but now very unlikely there will be a third.

The kids and bbq area being in one spot not far away and keep a close eye. Rooms were very clean and equipped with the basic essentials

I didn’t not like anything but the hot pools could be kept open for longer periods especially during winter. Didn’t have time to dip due to hot pools closing near dinner time. The oven was also very slow. Took three hours to roast a small pork otherwise hobs worked just fine

Love that there’s 2 beds, a lounge that hs sofabed. Good decent size spaces. Love that the toilet can be separated from shower.

Very comfortable for family. Got mostly what we need in the apartment. Very clean facilities. Really nice for them to give us the room across trampoline, our kids really enjoyed it.

A perfect getaway spot in Tauranga

Great position, close to restaurants and a supermarket. Comfortable and roomy, just a little dated.

It was very clean, tidily presented and they were generous with the complimentary milk. The kids Playground was very good with trampoline and swings and well maintained.

It was much more dated than expected. While the toilet and vanity were new, the fitting of them hadn’t been finished with the vinyl flooring having a concrete gap where the old toilet was and daughter stubbed her toe. The tv was very hard to work too.

Convenient location, comfortable bed.

Needed help to get microwave working. Called at 6 pm but no staff on site, nearest was 1 hour away. Eventually realised I had to turn on the switch labelled ‘hob’ to start microwave. Ants on kitchen bench and shower soap dispenser empty.

Very clean, easy to check in and out.

TV sound was very low, could not adjust it any higher. Was hard to watch any tely.

I was able to change my booking date by a day. The room was fine but a bit dated. The bed was firm but comfortable

the heater in the room is inadequate it took hours to get the temperature acceptable enough to prepare for bed. The shower needs updating and the water pressure needs to increase. The water temperature is far too hot. To get the temp right by deceasing the mixer to the cold side also decreased the pressure of the water. Shower mixer and head need updating.....

Room was clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed and it was clean Fridge was spotless. Had sky tv. The bed was really comfortable, great pillows. Safe parking. Location was great.

Fairly easy to locate. Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasantly decorated. Well equipped. Peaceful atmosphere. Close to shops , parks and not far from central business district. Easy to contact, accommodating when we had to change our arrival time with short notice. Overall value for money, enjoyable stay and very important the cleanest place we have stayed at.

The location is always great and the service from the staff. Close to shopping mall. They accommodated for two extra people, which was very convienent, it was a last minute arrangement as we had family traveling to Auckland and needed a stop over to rest.

Our TV wasn't working. It would be good if the check to make sure that it's working before we arrive.

The kitchen table top was old and sticky to the touch.We tried to remove stickiness, but think it was old varnish No bedside lights Only mirror in bathroom. No power point close enough to use hair drier. Double bedroom, no wardrobe, only hooks on back of door (not even any coat hangers)

We had a lovely stay at 18th Avenue Thermal Motel. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well set up with everything we needed. The thermal pool was relaxing and a great way to unwind. It added something special, we really enjoyed having access to it. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and helpful making us feel at home. The location was also convenient, close to shops and local attractions, which made getting around simple. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

TV was quite small and quite far away from the bed. No plug for phone charger by main bed. Not a biggy though.

A fairly comfortable place to stop when passing through Tauranga. The room is spacious and the furniture and beds are comfortable. The courtyard outside is large and is a pleasant view of outside the room.

The room is clearly dated with the front door lock being a bit sticky and requiring to be pushed shut to make the lock engage. The kitchen sink is like a laundry sink with separate hot and cold spouts was a bit awkward to use. The shower also had low pressure and took a long time to heat up and get the temperature right and the hot and cold tap positions were reversed on the sink compared to the shower. The location was also not ideal and required driving to get into the main part of town and had to go a back route due to some turning lane controls at the nearest intersection.

I stayed in room 1. The door gets stuck, but you can pull it hard and it opens and closes. No Iron or ironing board for ironing shirt etc - that would be good to have for people staying overnight for work. Room was really cold, though I discovered a heater the next morning. The property was quite dated notably the doors and shower.

We’ll definitely stay here every time we visit Tauranga. We were more than satisfied — the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

The thermal pool wasn’t quite hot enough, but it was a good size for kids to play in. There’s no air conditioning in the room, however two fans were provided, which was fine.
