Nice clean and the lady on reception when we arrived was very nice and easy to deal with.

Great location, clean and tidy and lovely pool available to use. Units were very basic but spacious and had everything you need. Loved the spa bath too! We had an unexpected morning visitor (a builder lol) but it was actually quite funny AND we were offered a refund which was very decent of them, but it wasn't necessary. Highly recommend the Cottage Park Thermal Hotel.

Would've like to have slept with the window open but unit was next to the road so didn't want to risk it - a safety latch would be handy but everything else was great.

A very pleasant surprise when we walked into the unit. Very cosy and warm, close to Grace Hospital and easy to find. Friendly operators who gave me a late check out. A hidden gem. We would definitely come back.

How close the rooms were pretty much bed to bed and thin walls . However this was for a studio We have stayed in the 2 story rooms and they are great so just keep that in mind d when booking a studio

A very clean, tidy space and a homely feel to it.

The wifi kept dropping out, it wasn't really useable. The fan didn't work and the room was very hot.

The warmth was wonderful and the bed was comfortable. All was well.

Easy location for access to the stadium and perfect for families

I’m being picky coz it has most things you really need but there was no where for people to park when we had visitors and there was no EV charging available.

Loved how cosy it was ! The heated floors were delightful. Bed was comfortable, shower was great. and I loved the fruit trees

Wifi was shit, just didn’t really work. So I struggled to use my phone or laptop. Tv only had a few channels - no movie channels. Fridge was missing parts. Also there is not coffee plunger so you have to byo!

Spacious and clean facility

Really liked it here. It was nice and warm with heated floors. I ended up sleeping on top of the blankets with my mink blanket even though it was freezing outside. We could link our phones to the tv to watch a live stream. The host was lovely. Place is nice and clean as expected. We only needed to go to the stadium which was 10mins away so location was perfect. We only stayed 1 night but it was still a great experience. Definitely recommend.

It was a good size for my family and we would stay again. The staff were friendly.

The thermal spa pool wasn’t hot which was a big bummer as I got this room for the fact I’d be able to relax in the private spa after the long drive which is very uncomfortable for my sciatica.

We loved this big apartment for our family of four. It was nice having a seperate lounge/kitchen area away from the downstairs bedrooms. The unit was warm and cosy, with city views. Having two balconies plus a courtyard made it feel even more spacious. The friendly staff were proactive with our slightly late check-in so everything was handled smoothly. The boys enjoyed the table tennis and the pool would have been used if we had more time.

Everything was really good, so suggesting to replace the tired looking shower caddy means I'm looking hard for something negative :)

I liked the friendly Staff,very accommodating thank you 🫶🏼 the location was perfect for me as I needed to be near Tauranga Hospital and Beautiful Mt Maunganui. I like that the rooms are serviced daily if required.

We had multiple car pooling but was grateful their were other parking in the motel for cars to park Staff very friendly and understanding

They were so helpful and accomodating. Even moved some cars for us to park the horse float

Extremely stuffy room. Couldn't keep the windows open at night due to bugs flying in. And only cooling option was the worlds noisiest table fan that kept us awake ALL night

Heated pool was great for the kids. Plus the table tennis in the pool area was a hit also. Loved the private plunge pool. Lots of space in the family units. Beds were comfy. Had everything we needed for a spontaneous trip away.

Paper thin walls internally. Couldn't really hear the neighbour's unless we both had our doors to the decks open. But we could hear when they walked up and down their stairs.

Central location suited our needs. Swimming pool was lovely and warm. Albeit limited the views were nice. Well equipped kitchen. Good laundry facilities.

Smooth tiled floor both inside and out which was very slippery when wet. Downstairs outside area in need of a good clean, ashtrays not emptied.

We’re able to accommodate 15 people on a same day booking. Friendly owners! Got more than expected with facilities fantastic.

Can’t think of anything

Location was perfect for us. Facilities were clean and tidy. Very quite the two nights we stayed even with having people in units on both sides of us.

People using the laundromat at the end of our building didn't park very well at all so we did have trouble getting into our allocated carpark at one stage, actually had to wait for them to move which they didn't do straight away. Other than that everything was good.

The hotel was easy to find and we could park right outside our unit. It was ideal for us, close to Mt Maunganui for shopping and a gig in the evening. A nice little two bed unit so we could hang out together. The swimming pool was a bonus, a nice place to relax after shopping.

It had everything we wanted . We booked at short notice and perhaps should have booked something within walking distance of eateries etc . That said with a car there are lots within 5-10 minute drive . Air conditioning would have also been a good addition. The place was spotless and the owners very attentive.
