Son emplacement est idéal pour ceux qui n'ont pas peur de marcher 15mn pour aller vers le centre d'Ubud et qui veulent du calme !

The entire team went above and beyond to ensure I was conformable and had everything I needed. I arrived quite late in a heavy rain, and they were ready to carry my oversized luggage and set me up for the night. My villa was meticulously cleaned and in pristine condition, and the overall vibe here is cozy. The foliage views and pool area are lovely. All of the plants are happy and thriving!

Make sure you locate the power strip early on as there aren't many plugs in the room. I didn't find this right away. Also note that it's open air, but the windows have shutters, so you don't get as much natural light from inside (better for sleepers preferring dark ambiance).

Villas are built in a beautiful gareden setting and very private. Rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. Biggest bathroom we have experienced! On arrival, we were very touched to see that the staff had decorated our bed with rose petals celebrating our 34th Wedding Anniversary. Terima kasih Beautiful pool setting for breakfast. Lots of shade, but also sun loungers to soak up the sun. Peaceful and quiet, tranquil and lush. The staff were amazing, particularly Putu, Agu and Novi and a special thank you to Tia who we had great chats with, over breakfast. We will be back. Terima Kasih! 😃

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Each room was built and decorated like a traditional balinese house. The garden was near a river full of tropical trees and plants. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The location, not in the centre of Ubud but very close to it, was ideal for quietness and relaxation.

There were no pavements so it was rather difficult to walk to the centre of Ubud when the traffic was heavy.

Our time at Kano Sari was absolutely amazing, from check-in to check-out! The team were incredibly helpful and friendly, and really made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was perfect and had everything that we needed and more! The food was beautiful and the breakfast juices are not to be missed! (The ABC comes highly recommended). Beautiful pool with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun shine. The location is also perfect as it is away from the hustle and bustle in the centre of Ubud, but still also within walking distance from many restaurants and shops. Kano Sari is the perfect place to stay whilst in Ubud!

Schönes gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit halb offenem Bad. Leckeres Frühstück a la carte, das im 3 Tages Rhythmus gewechselt hat. Sauberer erfrischender Pool. Ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum (ca 10-15 min zu Fuß). Ausgesprochen freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, das uns einen Fahrer sowie eine Massage organisiert hat. Möglichkeit in der Unterkunft mittags/abends zu essen, was auch lecker war. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung.

A wonderful base when staying in Ubud from start to finish, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating to all our requests, the rooms were large and beautifully clean, and the location is great (just a 5-10 min walk or so from the main centre). Thoroughly recommended, would love to go back!

The property is stunning and a haven of tranquility in the bustle of Ubud. My room had a large, excellent bed, and the bathroom (with a deliciously large tub) opened up to the view of the lush forest. The outside patio to the room included a beautiful sitting area, accompanied with only the sound of the river and swaying trees. The staff were very friendly and able to arrange everything, including transportation and activities. Excellent meals, which can be had in the room. Highly recommend.

It’s beautifully nested right infront of a forest! Walking distance from the heart of the city centre. The villa is spacious, clean, great atmosphere and wonderful people. Very nice, welcoming and warmth staff members.

Wonderful Villas and exceptional staff! Everyone made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities, breakfast and food were all excellent. The location is also perfect, only 15 minutes walk from Ubud centre but at the same time away from city noise.

Everything was good but what really set this place apart from other places was the exceptional staff, they really made you feel like you were at home, small tight-knit family that all said hello and really felt like they cared about your stay and the rest of your day. They remembered that I liked chilis with my breakfast and no sugar in my juice and continued to deliver throughout the week without having to ask twice! They clean your room twice a day and helped with you everything you need, from mosquito repellent to shuttles into town. They even went above and beyond to rectify a misunderstanding. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Not a huge deal but just didn't expect it to be semi-open air. I think the window had wooden blinds but it had no glass panes so mosquitos could easily get in. Also charging was hard as there were limited outlets in convenient places.

Breakfast was delicious, and the view of the forest from my table was the best part. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was a standout. The hotel is in town and short distance from great restaurants, cafes and shops.

It would be great if the room had other types of curtains that would allow more natural light during the day.

The common area was a very spacious and clean. I loved that everything was open to nature which gave the property a very calm and relaxing experience. The pool was wonderful with both enough spots in the sun and shade. The patio where you have breakfast is excellent with a nice view of a small bit of jungle. The room was very spacious and super tidy. Luckily they had a mosquito net as the room was exposed to open nature.

Perhaps this isn’t a real flaw, but the room was not completely closed, so if you’re not used to sleeping with sounds of insects, gecko’s or owls, it may be difficult to fall asleep.

You order your breakfast the day before with plenty of options. Free filter drinkwater in the room. Saron included for the temples. They also come in the evening when you’re gone to make your room sleep ready and turn on the AC. All in all, lovely!

Our stay at Kano Sari Villas in Ubud was fantastic. The setting is serene, surrounded by lush greenery, and the rooms have a beautiful open-air jungle vibe. We had a minor issue with the AC, but the staff responded quickly and offered us a new room. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuine. They also treated us to a complimentary massage, which was absolutely euphoric with the soothing jungle sounds in the background. Highly recommended for a relaxing Ubud escape.

The most amazing hospitality and a small resort that is designed and maintained in exceptional ways. The food was delicious, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and it was easy to feel tranquility quickly.

This is an absolutely beautiful property, you can tell much effort and thought has gone into both the rooms and the lush garden. From the comfy bed and beautiful fresh linen, to the small touches in the room. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful but never intrusive. It was my birthday during this trip and they sang me happy birthday and brought me a little cake 🥹I would recommend this spot to anyone

Staff were fantastic and the hotel very special. About a 15 minute walk to town. Would definetely recommend this hotel.

The wooden window blinds can't be opened so the only way to get natural light into the room is by leaving the front door. You can open the slates of the blinds but it is quite cumbersome and still doesn't let much light in.

This was definitely our favorite place to stay in Ubud. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The location was great and the staff helped us rent a scooter so we could explore the area during the day. We would definitely go back to Kano Sari Villa. What was especially memorable and heartwarming was that when my husband and I started driving to the next place, the staff came out and waved us off - it gave us a very warm and heartwarming feeling as if we were leaving home. Thank you very much!

Our stay in Kano Sari was in the Jepun suite, which is a huge villa type room with bathroom outside and seperate living area. The breakfast is served right next to your room in the outdoor sitting area and it is GREAT. Every evening you get to choose from different ala-carte menus and the next morning a lovely breakfast will be served with a smile from the super friendly Kano Sari team. We stored one of our luggage bags in the hotel when we set of to explore the rest of Bali by motorbike and the employees have taken really good care of it. They even messaged me worries when I was a little late picking it up. For service and quality I would definately recommend the Kano Sari villa's.

As expected from other reviews the mosquitos were really aggresive during our december stay. But the netting around the bed and the supplied repelend helped a lot. There is a bat who lives above the balcony area at night and he makes a mess which is cleaned by the housekeeping every day. This was not a problem for us, it is nice to see this thing of nature up close. But it is good to know you can expect that sitting outside on the balcony in the morning is not always possible before cleaning. Tip: use the supplied flashlight to look at the bat when you are awake at night. It is a magnificent creature. Kano Sari is not the most economical choice in the area, but we were not sorry we booked for these prices.

The overall ambience is an oasis of calm.

Thought the food offer was disappointing, lack of choice and quantity even though my wife and I have small appetites.Not the hotel but UBUD itself was ghastly. Noisy, crowded, dirty. Regetetted going there.

Agung and Novi were both amazing and so welcoming to us during our stay. We’re were away for our 10 year anniversary and they went above and beyond to ensure it was extra special. The rooms were amazing and the breakfast was the best we had in Bali and the accomodation is near the centre of Ubud. Don’t look elsewhere stay here!

Breakfast was served on the beautiful pergola next to the pool, it was so nice we decided to eat most meals there. The food was great. The staff was wonderful, we immediately felt at home.The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. It was a great, quiet little oasis just a 10 minute walk to the main street in Ubud. The garden was beautiful.

Very attentive service and cleanliness of the place. The swimming pool is large and deep…we can swim It’s a traditional Balinese building , decoration and landscape. You really feel in Bali. The room was very large comfortable and tastefully decorated. It’s a small business with only 6 rooms. Expect for feeling home. Very easy access to the center of Ubud. Breakfast was very nice.

It’s a problem, but also due to situation of the hotel in the center of Ubud. It was a little noisy during the night, not because of the road in front, but the main road 300 meters on the other side of the river.

Greenery in the villa, staff is very polite and professional. Nira is really good person. Villa tour provided by staff is good. Honeymoon decoration on the bed was good.

I had bruises on my knees which I informed a day prior of checkin. Unfortunately, the first aid provided was expired. No bathroom slippers were provided, my husband had something pierced in his feet while walking around the pool. The charging ports around the bed is far. The room is open from roof which affects the cooling inside the room. Less value for money. The breakfast portion size is small. feedback: portion size should be good for vacation and should not be limited (it just kills the vacay mood).

The property is stunning, a garden eden. Our villa was tucked away at the back of the property by the jungle and was large, with a lovely outdoor sitting area and an incredible bathroom.

The only small complaint I had was because the shutters in the villa didn’t fully seal, it was hard to keep the A/C cold. But overall the temperature was fine.

Breakfast was great every day. The roo. Is very clean and the people who work there are amazing. Always happy to do anything for you. They help book tours they even have a car to drop you off in town twice a day. They resort is in walking distance to the main street.

A very welcoming hotel with a family feel. All the staff were very helpful, helping to organise day trips and taxis. The hotel was very picturesque with lovely plants throughout the garden and pool area, and also inside the bedrooms. A good complimentary spa massage, and very good food.

A wonderful place to stay, in the heart of Ubud but so quiet and peaceful. Staff went above and beyond, room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious. Couldn't fault anything, we loved our stay.

The staff was really amazing and willing to help us. They even let us use another room to have a shower before leaving (even though we had already checked out). The food is good and the location enable us to walk most parts of the city which is definitely a good point. However it is the staff that makes this place incredible. Thank you a thousand times!

We’ve spent an amazing time at Kano sari ubud villas. During our stay (4nights) the team was always extremely nice, caring and helpful. The location is a much needed quiet and safe space to get a break from the hectic city center. Food, location, team are outstanding : I highly recommend!!!

WiFi was pretty spotty. It’s also pretty loud, between roosters/dogs/construction/Ubud noise, but I think it would be anywhere in the city. They do give headphones!

The room and gardens were stunningly beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. Everything was impeccably clean, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort—nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was fantastic, and we enjoyed some great lunches at the hotel too. The spa was a real treat—we had a few massages and they were amazing. This hotel stands out as one of the nicest (if not the nicest) places we've ever stayed. Traveling with my family, we were all impressed and delighted by our experience. Lovely and friendly staff

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, they were incredibly kind and attentive and always ready to assist with any information or services we needed. The villa itself, which is located within easy walking distance of central Ubud, is stunning, peacefull, with large and clean room and bathroom that offered the perfect blend of comfort and luxury, all while being surrounded by nature, with nice views of the forest. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious and diverse, offering a delightful taste of Bali. If you're looking for a serene escape with top-notch service, Kano Sari is the place to be!

Everything was perfect. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the service for breakfast and dinner might seem a bit slow. However, we noticed that this is common throughout Bali, so it's not really something to complain about. After all, we were on vacation and there was no need to rush. Plus, the wait was always worth it and the food was always freshly prepared!

The Bed, the pool, the room the staff were fantastic and well above expectations. This property is like a small oasis in the craziness of the busy center of Ubud. Not the cheapest, but worth the money. Outstanding service from Agung and her team.

Communication with staff was excellent (special thanks to Novi, Agung, Nira, and the team for being so helpful). The property is beautiful, in a very green setting (lovely garden and the property backs on to a forested ravine - lovely views from some of the rooms). We also found it helpful to be within easy walking distance of central Ubud and all that it has to offer. The breakfast and pool area are also great for relaxing in. The rooms/villas themselves are private, spacious, attractive, well laid out, and very well equipped, with some nice touches (unlimited drinking water, sarongs for visiting temples). Bathrooms are large and open to the outside (with associated pros - good ventilation - and cons - e.g., lack of soundproofing - that this brings). We also enjoyed being able to organise everything (transfers, day trips, massages, etc.) through the hotel

Steps bit hard for elderly

The team at Kano Sari are the best. They are kind, attentive, helpful and amazing. I’ll 100% be back. Everyone was so helpful and sweet. The food was amazing and the space is peaceful! It’s a short walk to the main area and there’s beautiful nature all around.

Exceptional service, most welcoming and attentive staff. The room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff gives you undivided attention, we always came back from breakfast to find the room cleaned and tided up in no time. They also assisted us in booking classes at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was always prepared to our liking and served fresh. True pampering. The location is also very convenient, few minutes away from shops and cafes. Best stay so far in Bali and will most definitely be coming back.

Couldn’t fault anything. We were very happy with our stay and I would like to confirm all the positive comments about Kano Sari. The friendly, professional staff deserve a special comment, making our stay perfect with delicious breakfasts, clean surrounds, shuttle service, car bookings, advice for restaurants and more. Whatever we needed staff were there to help. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The laundry service could be improved. This would not be a problem for many people but white towels need to be kept white. This would not however prevent me from returning to Kano Sari.

Only stayed two nights but room and facility is very well maintained. They gave us a lunch package since we had to leave very early in the morning. Really nice and big shower!

Spa/ massage place could need a little bit more attention to detail.

We loved everything about Kano Sari! The location is ideal, just 15 mins walk away from Ubud Palace but far from the chaos of Ubud centre, with a gorgeous view over the jungle. Our room was fantastic, extremely spacious and well organised - just note that you are not entirely isolated from the nature since the shutters do not have glass windows, therefore you may find little geckos and bugs in your room (but this is true for most if not all accommodations in Bali) - we didn’t have any issue with mosquitoes or other animals while at Kano Sari. The staff are FANTASTIC and really kind, they will help you with everything from transfers to day tours to arranging massages or dinner reservations. And their portfolio of activities and recommendations is also great. We did some cycling, a tour of the north of Ubud and also two massages at the resort with their own masseuses and everything was amazing and dreamy. Lastly, the food is also fantastic. We had dinner there 3 times because it was just so good and cheaper than other restaurants in town, and the one time we went to a fancy local restaurant - Hujan Locale - we regretted not having dined at Kano Sari. This resort is absolutely worth the money, don’t look anywhere else and just book here, you won’t regret it
