Location, large room with 2 desks.

The bathroom door is a sliding door that serves as the closet door and does not close...room.is dark...breakfast is mediocre. Room needs renovation.

I was not impressed with the breakfast as it was all luke warm. The pancakes and bacon needed to be warmer and there was no hot chocolate. The location for us was perfect as we were attending a wedding. I also liked the sitting area downstairs.

The rooms needed more towels and housekeeping came on a Saturday evening which we declined. The bathroom door could do with a lock as people were coming in and out of the room so does not feel very private.

The breakfast was one one the best at a hotel. A wide array of choices, fresh and well attended by staff.

The coffeemaker in our room did not work

It is advertised as a non-smoking facility. When I got to my assigned room, there was a striking cigarette smoke odor. I complained at the front desk, and I was met with antagonism and gaslighting by a male in his fifties with white hair. The guy came to his senses and lowered his tone; then he found me another room. Also, I stayed on a Monday night that turned very disappointing--people were slamming doors coming in and out of their rooms at 9:00 pm and beyond.

Sarah at the front desk was very helpful. She handled my request professionally and quickly, which I really appreciated. She gave us ideas of things to do around town, as well. She was always smiling and nice to work with. She made our stay easy!

Very clean

Friendly staff, spacious rooms. We left a tux in the room , the hotel shipped it to us , it was easy and fast. Great service. Free cookies and fruit in the lobby , infused water. Very pleased.

The room and lobby were dusty. Breakfast was ok at best. Coffee was weak and flavorless.

Checking out this morning after a two night stay. The various chain hotels offer a similar overall experience; the difference is in the little things. The staff here were great and offered up my Hilton Honors snacks unprompted. They were also actual people, not the “my pleasure” robots that corporate America thinks we want. So, kudos to the manager. Plusses: clean, big rooms, good breakfast, easy in/out. Fitness center well equipped (treadmills, ellipticals, a weight machine, dumbbells, pool. They leave out coffee/tea fixings at night, including plates and cutlery. Super handy when door dash forgets to add. Negatives: the chairs in the breakfast room are oddly low. I am 5’11” and my oatmeal was basically in my face. TV offerings a little slim. No Yankees games! If you are looking for a World Cup base, this is a great option.

Breakfast was made from rubber- powdered eggs, powdered milk - really bad. Very unhealthy and plastic food

The room was run down and dirty- our room Wasn’t cleaned on days it should have been and when returning from a long day of wakes and funeral Services we walked into unmade beds and overflowing garbage cans

The pool was very cloudy and there were no towels. The rooms could have been cleaner a lot of dust in corners some hairs all surfaces weren’t clean.

Breakfast was very good. Something for everyone. Very tasteful and perfect location. Only negative juice was very watered down. The decor was tasteful. Good water pressure. Sink faucet easy to use. No water splashing everywhere. Great space. Everything flowed. Easy to get around. Beds and linens totally comfortable. Blinds easy to use, decorative and blocked light efficiently. Soundproof. Not alot of outside noise heard. Friendly and helpful staff. Television good size and great to watch football with family. Very clean. Ice machine close by. I cant think of one bad thing. The whole stay was perfect.

Only complaint was coming off the elevator smelled like cigarettes but the halls and the room did not which we found strange

Great location! Only 20 minutes away from the city, close to the highway and close to shopping. We checked in very late and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. There is an indoor pool and gym. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of things to choose from.

The only thing I can think of that I didn't like was the coffee...

My husband and I spent a week here and were very happy with the hotel, our room, breakfast and most of all, housekeeping and management. I have asthma and am allergic to pets. I called the hotel and spoke to the manager Zach before making reservations. He was very helpful at addressing my concerns. He assured me the room would be deep cleaned. Housekeeping did a great job. I had no problems and everything was perfect! We have been Hilton Honors members for over 25 years but rarely stay at any of their hotels anymore because of the change in pet policy. We definitely will stay here again the next time we are in New Jersey!

Clean and good gym

The manager. One of the absolute worst we have encountered in our travels. He definitely didn’t learn the wisdom is “the customer is always right” despite confirmed emails on related to our issue “he was correct”

The room was clean and the staff is very nice.

The location is difficult to get to with all the construction going on around it. The nightly fee is high but everything is high right now.

Location is close to NY in a quiet neighborhood. Rooms are spacious. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is well equipped. Very good breakfast. Free large parking.

Booking.com completely bungled the reservation process and it cost me $183 in change fees that should never have been charged in addition to the $750 that I paid for the room. And Booking.com refuses to respond to my requests and my complaint.

Nice big room, sparkling clean. The staff was very accommodating and did everything possible to accommodate our early arrival. The breakfast was outstanding and helped us to get a good start for a long trip. Good job Hampton Inn!!

Generally a good stay

This is a reasonably nice hotel and the staff were great, but the location is at the end of a badly maintained road through an abandoned mall.

The floor in the shower was extremely slick and potentially dangerous. It needed a mat at the least.

Formulaic chain hotel with giant TV blaring in the lobby and large breakfast buffet with all factory food. Typical Hampton experience but poured out of a tired and now grim mold. Watery coffee masquerading as gourmet, etc. Staff is always terrific.

Just wasn’t happy about the burger restaurant nearby with the 4.8 star rating because it’s maybe a one point 5 star rating to my family requirements.
