CITAN - Hostel

Overall, CITAN was the perfect hostel for me and my group while we stayed in Tokyo. The facility is clean, convenient in that it’s walking distance from the train station and 24/7 stores such as 7-11, and it’s managed by friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend if you want easy access to other neighborhoods such as Shibuya, while maintaining a peaceful and quiet stay after a long day in the busking city.

The cafe attached the hostel was a really nice to have in the morning. The bartender at the restaurant was great and gave me some recommendations for later in my trip. The location is a little quieter than other parts of Tokyo which I liked. Met lots of cool people during my stay. I’d definitely come back.

This my favorite hostel in Tokyo. I wish I would have known about sooner. The location is close to many subway lines so it’s ideal if you plan to be active while in Tokyo. The staff were very nice and spoke excellent English. The dining area/public area were a good place to rest after a long day of walking and to converse with other travelers. My only complaint and it being very minor is the room that I stayed had window shades that didn’t cover the entire window. This made sleeping past sunrise very difficult. Overall I can’t suggest this hostel enough. It exceed my expectation.

Unusually clean for a hostel. Immaculate bathrooms and hallways when I visited. Friendly staff. Clean beds, firm.

This was the last stay of your 10 day trip. We stayed in hotels before this and those were great, but small. This gave us the option to have a little more space in our own room even if that meant having a shared bathroom. We picked this place because we wanted to have access to their coffee shop , bar and dining as a convenience before leaving to the airport. Staff was great!!

엄청 청결합니다. 지하 분위기도 너무 좋습니다. 근데 아침10시에 환기하느라 한시간 내내 문을 다열어놓아서 엄청숩습니다. 너무 추워서 참다가 그냥 닫았습니다.

Välskött hostel med god frukost att köpa. Rummen små, lite industrial chic. Notera att WC och duschar inte finns i rummet, utan på våningsplanet, men på ett plan finns så få rum att inget praktiskt problem.

Excellent staff.They diligently worked with the airport to find/get me my lost luggage. Reasonably priced breakfast, drinks, very clean, and in a very safe neighborhood with great transportation options.Takeshi and team rocks!

離馬喰橫山站和東日本橋站很近，去的時候google map叫我坐到小傳馬町站反而要走比較久，走沒幾步路就有便利商店，還有超市。員工很親切，房間、浴室和廁所都很乾淨，4人房是有空間可以打開27吋行李箱，房內還有置物櫃和拖鞋，交誼廳有冰箱和廚具可自行使用。地下室晚上是bar早上是咖啡廳，在那裡用餐很舒服，check out之後也可寄放行李，推推！

初めてドミトリーに宿泊しました。 ホテルは清潔・オシャレですし、セキュリティのロッカーも完備されていましたので、想像以上の快適さでした。 ただ客室のコロナ対策もしっかりしてるとは思いますが、ホテルがバーも併設していて、バーは爆音で音楽を流しているし、バーの客がマスクなしでフロントや階段部分で飲食していたり、入口で喫煙したりしていて、外出以外では1階の共用部に近寄り難かったです。

とても清潔で素敵な空間でした。 朝、寝坊をしてしまいご迷惑をおかけしたのに、明るく丁寧に対応して頂きました。 また是非宿泊したいです。

ずっと前から泊まってみたかったCITANさん。 周辺はオフィス街と問屋街と飲食店があるため、人の往来は多いですが、割と静かな印象です。 室内はとても快適。ドミトリーもあるので、共有スペースやキッチンがあり、個室利用者でも食器類の利用が可能でした。シャワー室もとても綺麗です。部屋には最低限のアメニティが揃っていて不便もありません。必要なアメニティはフロントで購入できます。歯ブラシとバスタオルはお部屋に準備されています。

全体的に静かで充分休憩か出来た。

清潔で落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 駅からも近く、また利用したいと思いました。

久しぶりに利用しました。 スタッフの対応、施設の綺麗さ、利便性、雰囲気の良さ、全て揃っていてとてもお気に入りの場所です！

朝昼の時間帯はカウンターの人たちの雰囲気がとても良くて爽やかな印象だったのですが、夜の時間帯のチェックインカウンターの人がとても感じが悪かったです。こちらが何をしたわけでもないただの宿泊客なのにすごい目で見てきてすごく不快でした。挨拶をしようという気持ちにもなれませんでした。 お部屋や共有部はとても清潔感に溢れていて快適だっただけに少し残念です。

CITAN is by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in!! When we arrived, they greeted us by name before we even introduced ourselves. It felt so wonderful to be welcomed by a team of employees who really cared about their hostel. The hostel was clean (especially important since we visited at the beginning of the COVID-19 scare), well managed, and stylish. The lounge downstairs is awesome, especially when you need a night off from the hustle & bustle. Their cafe is fantastic for breakfast. Their breakfast sandwich was my favorite, and their lattes are delicious. The soaps in the showers/bathroom are locally & ethically sourced, which was a nice touch. One night, a staff member asked us what our plans were for the evening, and the next day, they followed up and asked if we had fun. The employees at CITAN truly go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated.

ホステルなので部屋にポッドなどが無かったのは少し不便でしたが、とても素敵な空間でした。次は下も利用してみたいです。

駅チカ、羽田空港からもアクセスが良いので良く使ってます。 お酒もコーヒーもきちんとしたものがいただけるのもありがたい。

行ったらまずBARの音楽が大きくてビックリしました。 お客さんも海外の方が多いです。年末だったせいもあるのが、ドミトリータイプの部屋だと朝早くから動く方は気を使うかなと思います。 でも楽しく過ごさせて頂きました。

施設が新しく、清潔感もあり良かったです。

Bar, cafe and nightly DJs were cool. What was less cool was the door that was between my room and another room which transmitted sound as if they were sitting right next to me.

部屋が暑かったですが、トイレはシャワールームも使いやすく、ラウンジもとても魅力的で使いやすかったです。

ベッドの異臭が少し気になりました

와이파이가 거의 되지 않아서 너무 불편했던 적 빼고는 전반적으로 매우 만족

オシャレでとても雰囲気のいいホテルでしたー。

L'attigua caffetteria è bella, adatta a socializzare, molto europea però. La struttura non è nuovissima ed i servizi limitati. Tutto è considerato extra a pagamento (asciugamani, spazzolino..) e le camere sono molto minimal

とても雰囲気が良くて、遊びでも仕事でも利用しています。落ち着く雰囲気と賑やかさがとても良いバランスで、好きな場所です。

스탭분들도 다들 친절하시고 빵이 너무 맛있습니다!! 무엇보다 화장실이 옷갈아입는 장소부터 분리되어있어서 좋았습니다~~ 그리고 깨끗해요!

きれいでよく寝れました。 ラウンジは爆音だったので、本読みとかするのは場違いな気がして行かなかった。

Near metro station, has good cafe downstairs. The bed and duvet are comfortable. The female bathroom could be cleaner, the floor towels are always really wet.

Very clean and modern designs. The bar downstairs in amazing. Very quiet but socialable atmosphere.

It is very good for staying. Staff is very kind I recommand anyone who is in Japan

교통도 좋고 분위기도 좋은 숙소입니다. 공용화장실 샤워실 둘 다 깨끗하고 왠만해서는 다른 사람들을 마주치지 않아서 편하게 사용했네요. 직원들도 친절합니다. 참고로 우산을 빌릴 수 있으니 저처럼 편의점에서 우산 사지 마세요ㅠㅠ 2인 1실 2층 침대 방에서 지냈는데 정말 방음이 하나도 되지 않았다는게 아쉽네요. 수건은 매일 새로운 거 달라고 하면 공짜로 주셨는데 먼지가 묻어있어서 털어서 사용했습니다 뭐 너무 기대를 하고 가서 그런지 실망한 케이스? 그래도 이 가격에 영어도 잘 하시고 친절하시고 여행 잘 하고 왔습니다~

Citan Tokyo was great as far as hostels go, new and we'll maintained as well as quiet at night. It's near several metro stops so getting around Tokyo from there is very possible

Wonderful little gem of a place. I booked this needing a place to stay after landing in Tokyo. Location was prime for this as it was close to the train station. Upon arriving the staff was friendly from the start. Check in was a breeze and my room was exactly what I needed after a 12 hour flight. I will saw I booked a private King bedroom. Bathrooms were SPOTLESS and the shower was clean. The cleanliness of this place should not be overlooked. The common space is great, good food and good drinks...the workers also should be recognized for their friendliness. It’s really not fair to call this place a hostel, it seems more than that.

About 10 mins walk, east of Kodemmacho metro station. Huge, modern and well decorated/designed hostel in a nice local neighbourhood. Bathrooms, toilets, kitchen and common area were very clean. Dorms were large and comfortable. Individual lockers with code-lock provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good mix of eating options; plenty of family run eating places and franchise fast food joints. Supermarkets are withing walking distance. Tokyo station is 25-30mins south-west.

This hostel was very perfect for me. I would definately come back to stay when i have a chance to go to Tokyo. The locateion of the hostel is very convenient

If you have heavy luggage, suggest you to go by exit A4 of Bakurayamacho station by metro because there is a lift. There is only escalator at Exit A1, no lift, and have to walk a few steps. There's a lift in this hostel :) bathroom and toilets are clean

Great design, location, & staff. Bar & coffee shop an added bonus. Couldn’t fault it!

They play chill hop in the common room. The barista makes great coffee and the staff are great

Staff were extremely polite and helpful; gave great recommendations for food and sight-seeing, as well as how best to get back to the airport. Really enjoyed the vibe. No fuss check-in and good amount of space, privacy, and cleanliness. Would absolutely recommend.

Citan staff, amenities, and facilities went above and beyond my expectations. The room was immaculate.

Really lovely! Exactly as advertised/expected. The rooms/facilities were really nice and clean, great industrial feel. We went for dinner and drinks in the bar and it was great. Good music and bubbly on tap.
