I requisiti che lo rendono eccellente: a) posizione "arco di trionfo" extra comoda ai bus o metro o treno, facile da raggiungere dall'aeroporto 🛬. b) l'interno è moderno e funzionale, varie le prese elettriche e in tutti gli ambienti wifi. C'è la cucina provvista di elettrodomestici vari per cucinare qualcosa di gratificante dopo una giornata in giro. d)i bagni erano sempre puliti. e)il personale *splendido, si è adattato e ci ha informato sulla struttura e sui posti da visitare e come poterli raggiungere coi mezzi pubblici. f) è in centro ma non del tutto perciò essendo decentrato quindi e sicuro al passeggio e silenzioso. Barcellona è una città liberale ed è fantastica il Born Barcellona Hostel è una pepita d'oro che fa' trovare e ritrovare comfort durante le giornate di soggiorno. I believe this hostel ranks number one when it comes to the preferences of us Italians. The features that make it excellent are: a) An "Arc de Triomf" location that is incredibly convenient for buses, the metro, and trains, and easy to reach from the airport 🛬. b) A modern, functional interior with plenty of power outlets and Wi-Fi throughout the premises. There is a kitchen equipped with various appliances, allowing you to cook a satisfying meal after a day of sightseeing. d) The bathrooms were always clean. e) The staff were wonderful; they were accommodating and provided us with information about the facility, places to visit, and how to get there using public transport. f) It is centrally located but not right in the thick of things; being slightly set apart makes the area safe for walking and quiet. Barcelona is a fantastic, liberal city, and the Born Barcelona Hostel is a real gem that offers comfort and a welcoming atmosphere throughout your stay.
Frigorifero poco capiente per soddisfare l'esigenza di tutti gli ospiti specie nei periodi di alta stagione. Il Cambio degli Asciugamani dovrebbe avvenire ogni giorno o due al massimo. Il Climatizzatore (faceva freddo) si rischia raffreddore 🤧. The refrigerator is too small to meet the needs of all the guests, especially during peak season. Towels should be changed every day, or every two days at most. The air conditioning (it was cold)—there is a risk of catching a cold 🤧.

Loved how quiet the place was my entire stay. All of the guests were exceptionally kind. Not a party atmosphere. I had to work virtually with privacy and I was accommodated to the best of their ability. Exceptionally clean. Beautiful architecture and interior design. Beds and bedding extremely comfortable.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Одна ночь в Барселоне в стильном, уютном, комфортном, чистом и тихом хостеле. Внимательный и отзывчивый персонал. Постоянно поддерживали связь через WhatsApp, присылали инструкции. Хостел легко найти, он очень удачно расположен рядом со станцией метро Триумфальная Арка. В 200м есть магазин Меркадона. Кухня в хостеле оборудована прекрасно, вся бытовая техника работает. Большой ассортимент чая, кофе, необходимых специй. В душевых постоянно есть горячая вода. Оборудовано место для сушки белья. Личный шкафчик в комнате закрывается на ключ. Прекрасное место для того, чтобы отдохнуть, привести себя в порядок после прогулки по невероятно красивому городу в жаркий летний день. А утром под крики диких уличных попугаев стартануть дальше!
Начало регистрации для меня было бы удобнее хотя бы на час раньше. Но не критично.

The AC didn’t seem to extend to our room. It was so hot I could barely sleep on my last night. I know there was also a heatwave but maybe making sure air is vented to all the spaces.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026L'hostel est très bien placé, en peu en dehors de l'hypercentre mais tout est quand même faisable à pied ou avec des solutions de transport très très proches. Moi j'ai aimé marcher car le quartier est plaisant, et il y a une belle zone piétonne à proximité. Très bon accueil du personnel, qui est très discret. Bon équipement des chambres et des lits (air conditionné, casier avec clé fournie, serviette et draps compris, petite couette au cas où, prise et lumière personnelles). Les parties communes sont bien : salle de détente, terrasse, plusieurs salles de bains, cuisine très équipée (avec possibilité de cuisson et lave-vaisselle). Des bouchons d'oreilles sont offerts si besoin. Et il y a de quoi faire sécher son linge dans un patio. La top du top à très bon prix. Je recommande vraiment et je pense revenir.
RAS. Pour plus de sécurité, le gardiennage des sacs avant check-in ou après check-out pourrait être surveillé, dans l'idéal. Mais je n'ai pas eu de soucis.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Fantastic experience in this hostel. There was an issue with one of the roommates but the Reception handled it perfectly. The room was spacious. There is a fully equipped kitchen, nice leaving room and a veranda. I never had to wait for the bathroom.

Además, llegué muy temprano y pude dejar mi equipaje y usar los baños. Lo mismo a mi regreso. Se comunicaron conmigo para coordinar todo. Super recomiendo!

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Great location, close to Metro, many cafes and markets in the neighborhood. Within walking distance of museums, shops, entertainment, etc. Beds are comfy, nice seating areas to relax, kitchen facilities, quiet, staff was helpful and all the guests were nice.
Walking up the stairs is dark, could use better lighting or get your phones flashlight out.

Todos los espacios del piso (los baños,la cocina y comedor comunitario, el salón y la terraza) son funcionales y lindos. Esta fue mi tercera experiencia (Londres y Hiroshima). La mejor, sin duda, fue esta en Barcelona. Una agradable atención del personal.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026I visited late in the evening and got up early the next morning :-) I was looking for a cost-effective accommodation, and the staff was very kind and I really appreciated the schedule you wanted. :-)
It's not a disappointment of the hostel itself. It's my first visit to Spain, so I explained the trip to the hostel well, but I was unfamiliar with the old elevator system and the button to find and press when I left the entrance on the first floor :-)

Guests camping out sleeping every night in the tv living area which made it uncomfortable watching the early morning football World Cup matches on mute. Also window onto street wide open admittedly for cool air meant loud street noise was constant. Door of room kept wide open (told this was to allow air conditioning to flow through) which for me is a privacy issue and also meant any talking and moving around in the relaxing area disturbed sleep. However I do appreciate these issues are more down to dominant guests behaviour at the time of my stay and not necessarily appropriate to the accommodation.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026A tranquilidade do local, os banheiros sempre limpos, achei a cama confortável, lençóis limpos. Atendimento do hostel excelente. A localização muito boa, você pode pegar o Aerobus do aeroporto e descer na Praça Catalunya e ir andando (10 minutos) para o hostel, super tranquilo. Existem várias estações perto e se você gosta de caminhar dá para visitar a maioria dos bairros mais conhecidos a pé (15 - 30 minutos). A cozinha tem bastante utensílios. Foi uma ótima hospedagem para uma longa estada. Super recomendo.
É um hostel e nem tudo é do controle do pessoal que trabalha lá, como as pessoas as quais se dividem o quarto. Recomendo não deixar pertences importantes no cômodo, e se você se comunicar o mínimo as pessoas avisam que horas vão sair, pedem desculpas pelo incômodo do barulho. A maioria que eu dividi o quarto foram mulheres maravilhosas, atenciosas, educadas e cada uma foi se ajudando de alguma maneira. O único problema foi a porta do quarto que eu fiquei, porque a fechadura está com problema, fazia bastante barulho e eu acordava no susto.
